Sabrina saw you.
Sabrina saw you.
Rushing away from the scene, you are quick to make sure no one else can see you. You weave through the masses of students effortlessly. No heads turn as you pass. Throwing a glance over your shoulder, you see Sabrina search the crowds, no doubt coming up empty, before shaking her head.
You only relax when she turns and walks up the stairs to her next class. You don’t relax much, though; you still have to tell Lilith.
Dread builds with every step towards Wardwell’s—now Lilith’s—office. She trusted you to take care of this and you let yourself be seen. You’re not even sure how it happened. One second Sabrina is in a crowd of her friends, the next her eyes are locked right on you with growing horror.
It was almost comical, if you think about it.
Knowing how you’re going to upset Lilith though, you have other things to worry about; like how many years she’s going to bury you in the deepest pits of Hell for failing.
You arrive outside of her office and take a deep breath. Lilith loves you, for all intents and purposes, but being loved in her way isn’t like loving anyone else. She’ll go easy on your punishment, but you will be punished.
Knocking, you wait.
Her voice filters through the door, “Come in.”
You open the door and slip in. Her eyes find you in an instant, vanishing charm or no; she can always find you. It both warms your heart and spikes your blood pressure.
“Darling,” She says, the term a sultry drawl, her eyes narrowing, “What’s happened?”
“Lilith, my Goddess…”
Her eyes go hard at your tone. Her voice is cold, “What’s happened?”
“I was seen.” You admit, wincing.
Lilith had been standing, hands on the desk as she leans forward, only to pause. She tilts her head and looks at you for a long moment. You can feel your heart beating a mile a minute and threatening to shoot from your chest. It’s so hard you can almost swear she can hear it.
Her head turns and she looks away, eyes darting this way and that. She’s thinking hard about something. That isn’t good, you know; she’s likely deciding how to kill you and send you back to Hell until she gets there. It’s not Hell you mind as much as being without her.
You start talking before you can stop yourself, “I was following Sabrina and her friends in the hall. I don’t know what happened, but I must have dropped my cover on accident—”
“You did what?”
“Lilith, please. You know I wouldn’t fail you on purpose.”
“You don’t have accidents, darling,” Lilith says cuttingly, “That’s why I gave you this job. You don’t fail.”
“I won’t. It was just a brief moment and then she couldn’t see me. I swear, let me make this up to you.”
You fall to your knees in front of her as she crosses around to the front of the desk. Her brows raise slightly, but she only watches you. Usually you’re not so dramatic as this. It’s rare you fall to your knees without her command first, it’s even rarer for you to beg. You’re strong and fierce… except when it comes to your Goddess.
She has an army of demons and twisted creations to enact these duties for her. Any of them would have answered her call. But she gave you the opportunity; you, the twisted little witch, the one she’s kept at her side and away from the grit of Hell’s chores until now. She could’ve chosen any of them and she chose you.
If you admit defeat, you fear she’ll never choose you again.
You’ve never failed her when you were just there to entertain her. You can’t fail her now, when it matters. If you do, who is to say you’re really worthy of the love she shows you?
“Have I ever given second chances before?” She asks.
Her voice is cold, but she runs fingers through your hair. It’s always astounded you how someone born of hell can chill you to the bone.
You shake your head, “No. Not while I’ve been with you.”
“No.” Lilith echoes, confirming your answer, “What makes you think I’d give you one?”
Looking up and blinking the shame from your eyes, you try to summon your usual fierceness. Lilith’s lips twitch into an amused smirk.
“Because I love you.”
Something in her posture softens. It’s slow and barely noticeable, but you notice everything about Lilith, even if sometimes you don’t want to.
Her hand comes to settle on your cheek. Holding you in place, she absorbs the vision, soft eyes filled with interest. You want to know what thoughts race behind her eyes. Mary’s eyes. Her eyes now; you think everything about this body suits her beautifully, captures every detail of her soul and displays it perfectly for your eyes to see. It’s even better than the last one.
“If you slip again, I’ll let Stolas feast on your eyes.” Lilith says.
Hope and love fill you in equal measure. Your face breaks into a bright smile and you turn your head, kissing the palm of the hand she settled on your cheek. She laughs breathlessly.
“I won’t fail.”
Lilith nods, “Good.”
Leaning over and capturing your face in her hands, she pulls your lips to her own. She’s rough and demanding. Your lips are only there to serve her, like the rest of you. And you love it.
Her teeth pull at your bottom lip and break the skin. When drops of blood hit her tongue, she moans against you, sweeping the digit along your lip in search of more. A whimper leaves your lips. She swallows it down, smothering it, her sounds drowning out your own. You almost worry that it’ll reach someone outside.
Then she pulls away. You whimper at the loss of her heat, but she tuts, shaking her head. Moving back and sitting in one of her chairs, she almost smiles.
“Since you’re already on your knees, make yourself useful, will you?”

Imagine: being a werewolf and hiding it from Sabrina Spellman, your crush
Fandom: Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
Requested by @perfectartisanwerewolf [x]
Initially meant to be a ficlet - transition to an imagine explained here. Thank you for understanding.
Hiding your true self can get hard. It's even harder when you have to hide it from the people important to you. You may wish to be completely honest with them, but it's not the greatest option when it most likely will scare them away.
That's why it's always been easier to just hide the fact you're a werewolf from Sabrina. No matter how tough it was to be on your own with what you are, it's better than risking losing her, especially since you realised you developed a crush on her.
It's another day when you know you're going to transform later on. Your plan is to just stay at your house and peacefully go through the process. You know from experience that it's going to hurt and maybe it'd be better to have someone trusted by your side, but you've gone through it on your own so many times already, you had a chance to get used to it.
What interrupts your plan for the night is... Sabrina asking you out.
'Hey, Y/N!' she approaches you when you see each other that day. 'Would you like to go out tonight? There's a new movie coming out, I thought you'd like to see it.'
Your heart skips a beat when you realise this could be your chance with her, and another when it occurs to you this is the worst night possible for her to ask this question.
'Um... Sorry, but I can't.'
'Why?' she asks, sounding disappointed. 'Don't you want to go out with a friend?'
'Brina, I wish I could... I already have plans for tonight though.'
'Oh. Okay. Next time, then. But let me know if you're able to go, okay?'
'Sure.'
You head back home, hurting from the idea of having to reject your crush. Why did she have to ask on this specific day? Even tomorrow would've been much, much better.
Once your transformation starts, the memory of talking to Sabrina slowly fades away as the physical pain starts to creep in. The last thing you can clearly remember is hearing someone knocking at your door and managing to escape through the back door, hoping not to hurt them.
Once you regain consciousness after the transformation, you realise you're in Sabrina's room. She's sitting next to you on her bed, holding your hand.
'What am I doing here?' you ask faintly, trying to sit up.
'Shhh, lay down,' she says. 'I brought you here when you started transforming back.'
'Did I hurt you?'
'No. But... I might've hurt you,' Sabrina admits, pointing at your arm wrapped in a bandage. 'I didn't think you could be a werewolf, I wanted to defend myself... and you. I'm sorry.'
'Don't be, you couldn't have known.'
'I would, if only you told me. Why didn't you?'
You decide to be honest with Sabrina as you start talking:
'I didn't want to scare you away. You've been such a good friend to me and... I must admit, I have a crush on you. I was afraid you wouldn't want to be associated with me if you knew I was a werewolf, let alone be interested in me.'
'Oh, Y/N, why would you say that?', she exclaims as she goes to hug you. 'Your condition isn't up to you, there's no way I would reject you based on just that.'
You want to respond, but your voice gets stuck in your throat. All you can do is hug her back, hoping it's enough to let her know how grateful you are for having her in your life.

He's a charmer - Ambrose Spellman x M!Reader
Tumblr media
"More mashed potatoes dear?" Hilda asks, holding the bowl in front of you and your nearly empty plate.
"Yes please, thank you again for inviting me to dinner, it's incredibly delicious," you smile at her, taking the bowl and scooping another giant helping onto your plate.
"Well Ambrose hasn't stopped talking about you for weeks, we just had to meet his new boyfriend," Zelda says, sipping her wine.
"And when he said you had a mighty appetite I knew you would be a keeper," Hilda jokes.
"Hilda loves anyone who compliments her cooking," Zelda cracks.
"I wish I could eat food this good every night and of course I couldn't wait to meet the great Spellman's, we may not be from the same coven but your family is highly respected in the black rose society I mean becoming high priestess of the church of night and the dean of the academy of unseen arts is very impressive Ms. Spellman," you tell her.
"Why thank you Y/N and please, call me Zelda," she says smiling at the compliments making Sabrina roll her eyes.
"What can I say, he's a charmer," Ambrose says leaning in to kiss your cheek.
"Now I can see why you've been spending so much time Astral projecting to Dorian Grey's club," Hilda chuckles.
You take another bite of your food with one hand under the table but it isn't resting on your lap, it's resting on Ambrose's.
He doesn't think anything of it at first and goes to retell the story of the night you met however his words get caught in his throat when he feels your hand inching closing to the center of his pants.
"um and then he said his friends uh, his friends said he wouldn't have the guts to ask me to dance," he stammers.
"You okay honey?" Hilda asks.
"Yes auntie," Ambrose coughs as you carefully unzip his pants, fingertips grazing the outline of his cock through his underwear.
"I saw this handsome man from across the club and my friends immediately knew I was into him," you laugh, his cock getting harder under your touch, "can you imagine my surprise when I found out he wasn't even actually there but astral projecting."
"Are witches and warlocks even allowed to date outside of their covens?" Sabrina questions.
"It's not exactly encouraged but there's no laws against it," Zelda states.
You tug his underwear down far enough to let his cock spring free, making a light tapping noise as it hits the underside of the table and you begin slowly stroking him, "my parents weren't happy when I told them I was seeing someone outside of the black rose society but when they found out Ambrose was a spellman it was an entirely different story, isn't that right love?"
Ambrose gulps, struggling to not let out a moan when your hand lowers to start massaging his balls.
"Yes, Mr. and Mrs. Y/L/N would love to meet you sometime aunties," he mumbles.
"This would be a wonderful opportunity to bring more of an alliance between the covens," Hilda says happily.
"Of course, the church of night is dawning a new day so why not make new friends," Zelda states.
"I didn't know you had friends," Sabrina teases.
"Hush Sabrina," Zelda says brushing it off.
Ambrose twitches when your hand moves from the tip of his cock all the way to the base and nearly jumps out of his seat.
"Ambrose are you sure you're okay?" Hilda questions more concerned this time at his odd behavior.
"If you will excuse me I must go to the restroom," Ambrose says, covering himself the best he could and rushing off.
"Do you think he's caught the bug that's going around?" Hilda asks, "A couple of students at the academy have missed multiple classes because of it, I hope I didn't bring it home to him."
"I should go check on Ambrose, excuse me," you say, getting up from the table and following after him.
You find Ambrose in the restroom upstairs, groaning at how hard and throbbing he is.
"That was very cheeky of you Y/N," Ambrose huffs, leaning against the sink counter showing off what you did to him.
"Let me take care of that for you," you grin, sinking to your knees and taking him in your mouth.
Ambrose finally lets out the moan he's been holding in as you bob your head.
"My god," he grunts when you grip the base and expertly suck the tip.
Within seconds he's cumming in your mouth, grabbing at the counter to hold himself steady.
You swallow some but get back to your feet and spit the rest into the sink, turning the faucet on to wash it down the drain.
"Clean yourself up and come back downstairs, your aunt Hilda mentioned she made a crumb cake for dessert," you say casually.
"You will be the death of me Y/N Y/L/N," he sighs, shaking his head and grabbing a towel to wipe off the drops of cum stained on his pants.
You return downstairs and take your seat just as Hilda starts to cut the cake.
"Is Ambrose alright?" Zelda asks you.
"Oh yes, he'll be down in a minute he just felt flushed, must be that bug you mentioned Hilda," you smile innocently.

Fan-Fic Mashup 32 & 49 with Theo Putnam/Kurtz; if you still write for them
Yeah I do! 32. Pregnancy Fic and 49. Fake Married
“So wait they’re not going to let anyone in with you?” Sweet Pea scowls and Theo shrugs.
“Yeah hospital policy; with everything going on; it’s only family let in.”
“Oh; you tell Kurtz yet?” Theo shakes his head and grimaces.
“Good luck with that.”
“I’ve already hid his keys so he can drive to the hospital and preemptively camp in the delivery room.”
“So...” Theo shifts in the chair and Kurtz just blinks at him and then leaves the room.
“Got it covered babe.”
“How on earth? You’re going to say you’re my brother or something?”
“Nah husband.” Kurtz waves a marriage certificate in Theo’s face.
“We got married???”
“Not legally; I just forged the signatures and printed it off at the library...”
“We’re fake married???”
“Mhm; since you said you wanted to get married in Greendale; and until Veronica lifts that stupid re-enstated quarentine we clearly can’t so next best thing. You really think I’m going to miss our kid’s birth cause the hospital has some stupid rules?”

When Caliban and you grow closer and fall in love, you decide to tell him one day about how you are an angel. Caliban wanting nothing more but to have you all for himself, corrupts you into giving up your wings to be with him.
Tumblr media
The sky rumbled. Thick clouds covering up the clear sky. Another rumble thundered behind the clouds. Then a light lighting up some of the clouds. It got brighter as it made the clouds part. Creating a way as the light busted out, hitting the ground hard. For a moment it lighted the brightest till it dimmed out.
The light being swallowed back up. The clouds drawing closer again. On the ground a figure kneeling till it slowly rose. Taking a deep breath. Greendale. Your newly home for as long as he ordered you. The faint glow from around you dimmed out. You took your first step. Stumbling. The next one steadier. As you walked on earth for the first time. Being far away from home.
“Hey Y/n!” – Sabrina said when she entered the library. She approached you as you were seated down reading a book with much interest. – “Hey Sabrina.” – you replied glancing briefly up from your book when she came closer to your table. She smiled at you, resting her hand on the table as you suddenly heard another voice. One you didn’t knew. – “Sabrina!” – the voice called out as you noticed Sabrina rolling with her eyes.
Clearly she didn’t like this person this much. Glancing to the side you saw a young boy approach. Blonde and very attractive. – “I wasn’t done talking to you back in ...” – the boy said as Sabrina cleared her throat stopping the last of his words. She hinted with her head at you as the boy chuckled humorously.
“A memory wipe can be easy on your mortal friend Sabrina.” – he said all cocky. – “Caliban!” – Sabrina groaned out, clearly annoyed with him. – “Yet.” – Caliban continued approaching your table. You lowered your book when he set his hand by your side, coming to hover over your shoulder. He took a deep breath, taking in your smell. – “This mortal doesn’t smell mortal enough.”
You grabbed your book, lifted it up and slapped it up right in Caliban’s face. It startled him, making him stumble back and away from you. – “Personal space is a thing creep!” – you called out, shoving your chair back. Sabrina snickered silently as Caliban was touching his nose where you had hit him. You had gotten up, keeping the book under your armpit. Coming face to face with the creep that was sniffing you. Now you had a clear look of him. And he off you. – “Feisty that one is.” – he said to Sabrina.
Sabrina pulled her shoulders up with an innocent smile. You threw him a sarcastic smile to annoy him. – “So not so mortal, who are you?” – he wanted to know, dying with curiosity. There was something about you that was a mystery. There were some parts of you human, but not all. Something supernatural. When you remained silent went Caliban down in a bow. – “Caliban, prince of hell!” – he exaggerated with some flair.
Sabrina sighed loud with a roll of her eyes. – “Pleasure.” – you responded dull and unbothered. Caliban chuckled nervously when you didn’t seem impressed at all. – “And yours? Who are you?” – he asked taking a step closer to you. – “Wouldn’t you like to know.” – you answered witty taking your leave. Caliban stared stunned back at you. – “Sabrina?” – he asked, pleading with her for answers. Sabrina pulled her shoulders and hands up, not getting involved with it.
After a few classes you went up to your locker. Shutting the door, you were surprised by Caliban standing by your locker. A smug smile on his lips. – “So?” – he said leaning with his hand against the lockers. – “Must I guess or drag it out of you?” – he offered. You laughed at his eagerness. – “I’ll give you my name if you get on your knees and beg.” – you said just to tease him.
Caliban blinked surprised but then slowly went down to one knee, palms up as if bringing you a piece offering. – “Oh my!” – you said astonished that he was foolish enough to do so. You laughed loud, turning around and leaving before his other knee could touch the ground. – “But…” – Caliban muttered out, watching you leave.
“What are you doing?” – he turned his head seeing Sabrina stare confused at him. – “Nothing.” – Caliban replied bitsy, getting up quickly. Still snickering you clutched your books closer to your chest. It was kind of fun seeing the prince of hell throw himself at you like that. If only he knew you were his opposite. Pure and light.
A few days later you were at the library again. A hidden section in a corner at an hour most had gone home. You were reading informative when you heard a whish of flames burning. You immediately shut your book, sliding it down on your lap. For it could only be one person that appeared out of thin air like that. – “So here you are hiding, not so mortal.” – you heard Caliban speak as his footsteps approached from behind.
He set his hand down on the table again, coming to hover over your shoulder. He brought his head down against your ear. – “So you like playing games.” – he whispered as it felt intimate and fluttering. – “Only with you.” – you teased letting your head fall back to look at him. Caliban came hovering over your face with his, smiling flirtatious. – “For a name I shall get on my knees, I will go to hell and bring you the brightest jewel just to hear your name from your lips.” – he spoke making you smile.
“Please don’t.” – you chuckled out bringing your head back. You got up making Caliban move back to give you space. You went to a bookshelf, placing the book you had read back before Caliban could notice it. Caliban picked up another book, opening it uninterested. – “So what must I do?” – he asked. – “To hear that glorious name of yours.” – he added coming nearer.
You turned back to him, leaning against the bookcase. – “Why? Is the prince of hell interested in a mortal?” – you asked as he kept coming closer. He shut the book, dropping it on the table before he neared you. His arm he rested above your head against the bookshelf. – “Very.” – he spoke lowly. You felt yourself supress a squeal at how flirtatious that was of him.
“Not so mortal.” – he finished tilting your chin a bit back with his thumb. You took a deep breath, debating hard. Yet there was no harm in sharing a name. That still didn’t gave away what you truly were. One send from above, his sworn enemy. – “Y/n.” – you told him. Caliban’s smile widened. He was still touching your chin with his thumb. – “Y/n, a name for a princess.”
You punched him in the armpit for being so ridiculous. Caliban only chuckled as if not effected by the pain. You pushed him away returning to the table. From behind you, you could hear him mumble your name. Saying it like a mantra over and over. As if he thought he’d forget about it. It made you snicker quietly at how ridiculously cute it was. – “Caliban, saying my name three times isn’t going to summon me like bloody Mary!” – you called out to him.
Caliban smiled sheepishly, being caught by you. He hastened himself to your side, pulling a chair back to sit down with you. – “Maybe I like saying it. Y/n.” – he spoke leaning with his chin on his hand. You rolled your eyes at him. Caliban gawked in disbelieve at you. – “Don’t roll your eyes at me, not so mortal.” – he said grabbing your wrist and holding it down on the table.
His sense of immaturity only made you laugh louder. – “Don’t mock me not so mortal Y/n!” – he called out pulling at your wrist. You fell forwards coming face to face with him. Noses inches away from each other. Laughter had stopped as you could only remain still before pulling aware away. Hoping your cheeks weren’t too flushed.
Walking home that night, you gently tapped your hand against your forehead. – “Stop, stop, stop.” – you muttered out trying to knock some sense into you. – “Stop liking him.” – you slapped yourself hard, a bit too hard, making you rub the area with shame. Taking a deep breath you kept telling yourself to not fall for him. No good would come from it. The prince of hell with an angel from the heavens.
Not falling for Caliban was hard. Harder than any other task you had even been given. He wasn’t even school bound yet he kept appearing out of nowhere just to see you. His acts towards you were always full of flirts and charm. There had been a few close encounters where you had almost kissed him. The urge haven grown so desperate, you barely had any control over yourself.
Caliban was doing something to you and you couldn’t stop it. It was too late for that. There was no point in denying it that you liked Caliban and that he liked you in return. Perhaps telling him the truth about yourself wouldn’t be such a bad idea. You felt comfortable and loved enough around him to share your true self. You would do anything for him. That is how deep you had fallen for him. The prince of hell had you on your knees.
It was getting darker as Caliban was walking you home. Biting your lip, you took his hand, pulling him away from the main road over some grass fields. – “This isn’t your usual route home.” – he commented, blindly following you. – “I know.” – you answered going over a pumpkin patch, watching out carefully to not step on one. – “So where are we going Y/n?” – he asked nearly stepping on a pumpkin.
You remained silent walking over to a near small forest. You needed to be away from spying eyes if you were to reveal your true self to Caliban. Near an abandoned playground in the woods you came to a halt. – “Romantic.” – Caliban commented with a chuckle as you shushed him. – “Caliban, you were right, I’m not a mortal.” – you told him. – “I knew it!” – he called out with glory. – “I smelled it on you right away.” – you slapped him to stop interrupting you.
“Caliban listen!” – you made clear. You took a deep breath as Caliban could only stare at you. Was perhaps finally his burning desire off knowing going to be fulfilled? – “I’m going to show you who I truly am, but please don’t feel repulsed.” – you begged him. – “How can I be repulsed by you, princess?” – he answered brushing his fingers down your cheek.
You took his hands taking a step back. You closed your eyes. Caliban stared in awe at you when you started to glow. Light up with a soft bright light. Then with the sound of feathers appeared two white wings from your back. Opening briefly to its full length, before settling behind you. Caliban gawked in love at you. Going down on his knees for you as he bestowed upon your light. – “I am a child of the heavens.” – you told him after having opened your eyes once more.
“You are angelic Y/n.” – he complimented in wonder. He kissed your glowing hands making you smile flustered. Aware of your own self and Caliban’s nature, you looked saddened away. The heavens and the hell couldn’t be together. They never could. Caliban noticed the sadness on your face. He got back up stroking your cheek with his thumb. – “I want you so badly Y/n, but He and Lucifer will never allow us to be.” – Caliban spoke. – “I want you too.” – you answered bringing his hand down from your cheek to hold.
“What if we keep it secret?” – you asked. Caliban shook his head.  – “Yours and mine, would never let it pass. He will cut off your wings for loving a hell bound prince.” – he went on. – “He is forgiving.” – you told Caliban. – “He is not, not about this. We shouldn’t be.” – Caliban pushed your hand away, turning himself away. – “No!” – you called out as Caliban smirked half.
“I want to be with you. I want to be yours. I love you Caliban.” – you said desperately wanting him back. – “I love you too Y/n, but your wings prevent us from being together.” – he said saddened. – “Then I don’t want them!” – you shouted. Caliban smiled. His corruption working. – “Are you sure? There is no return Y/n.” – he had turned himself back to you. You nodded. – “I love you, I don’t want my wings if I can’t be yours.” – you told him clearly.
Caliban smiled cupping your cheek. – “Then be my princess.” – he whispered before kissing you. The moment your lips touched his, your wings started to disintegrate. The glow on you fading out to nothing. But a mortal appearance you had. Letting the change pass by you, you kept kissing Caliban. Now I have you for eternity Caliban thought.

Zelda Spellman x Fem!Reader: Tokens of Affection
Summary: ghostsunderstoodmysoul suggested “Since you are looking for inspiration in choosing a character for a Valentine’s Day fic, I’d suggest Zelda. It seems to me that the whole thing could be quite absurd, considering that all of these witches’ holidays are significantly different from ours, so this woman could get nystagmus even by visiting a shopping mall decorated for this occasion. In the end, of course, she would really like this holiday (so what if she’ll never admit it out loud?). But I am convinced that whatever you write will be good. And I get the impression (or maybe it’s my hopes?) that a lot of people will want to fic with one of Eva Green’s characters haha”
A/N: Part 2 of Valentine’s Mini-Fics! The rest will be coming tomorrow :)

Zelda Spellman was hundreds of years old. She had traveled the world, engaged in trysts of the moral and infernal variety, had even been involved in a few sordid affairs. And all of those years, she never once celebrated Valentine’s day.
As far as you were concerned, it was your time to shine.

gosh ur writing is truly amazing 🥹 I'm obsessed! I'm wondering if I could possibly request a Zelda Spellman, Cordelia Goode and reader fic with some angst? I'm currently obsessed with these characters rn and you honestly write them both so well🙃 if not tho that's fine <3
Cordelia Goode x Zelda Spellman x Reader - I'll crawl home to them
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: I am obsessed with this request!! Thank you 🫶🏻 I have missed writing for Zelda and after rewatching the whole show I just kept thinking about this idea, Cordelia makes it even better. I hope you enjoy and this is what you wanted <3 For any witch experts on here, please ignore some of the witchcraft and rituals, I wrote it to fit the storyline and it's not too accurate to both Delia and Zelda's powers. Also, I wish I could have carried this on for a lifetime but it was long already.
warnings: mention of death, mention of witch hunters, mention of violence, mention of guns, mention of blood, mention of smoking, angst, fluff at the end

Sitting at the breakfast table in the academy's dining hall, Cordelia stretches her arms, feeling the satisfying pop of her joints. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingles with the scent of warm pastries, that the supreme had prepared hours ago. Zelda sits across from her, with grace buttering a slice of toast, her usual newspaper beside her. Both women look relaxed, yet tired, the week's demands having taken their toll on the headmistress and high priestess.
As you walk into the room, balancing a tray with breakfast items, you set it down with a soft thud, both of your girlfriends greeting you with content smiles. The three of you had barely seen each other all week, each wrapped up in the responsibilities of running their respective academies. Cordelia lived in New Orleans, running Miss Robichaux's Academy as headmistress plus supreme, Zelda living in Greendale, both teaching and leading the Academy of unseen arts for witches and warlocks. You had originally spent a majority of your time in Greendale, growing up there, before eventually wanting to see more of the world and finding a certain blonde far away.
Fate had bounded you together again, as both Cordelia and Zelda had known each other from countless council meetings in the past and when the three of you reconnected and realised that you all not only knew each other but had a certain attraction towards each other, one thing eventually led to another. You hated the idea of being far from either of your lovers but as the three of you mastered the ability of teleporting, Zelda additionally knowing how to astral project, it made the whole thing a lot easier. The three of you practically lived at Miss Robichaux's now, despite Zelda still calling Greendale her home and making an appearance at her home at least twice a day. This week she had only been in Greendale, as there had been some troubles with newer witches and warlocks at the academy. You had always been stuck in between, wanting nothing more than to help your girlfriends out with the burden that their responsibilities brought. And so you mostly split yourself, teaching and helping Delia in the mornings and working besides Zelda in the afternoon, before eventually collapsing into a bed with either of them, whether that was Greendale or New Orleans.
This is partially the reason why you enjoyed weekends so much as you knew you could always spent it with both of your girlfriends as they made those their priority, knowing if they didn't, this relationship wasn't going to work out. The three of you dig into breakfast, enjoying the rare moment of silence and the comfortable embrace of sitting beside each other. For a while, you simply savour each other's company, the peacefulness of the morning making the moment even more precious.
,,So, what do you both have planned for today?'' you ask, breaking the silence eventually. Cordelia sighs, setting her coffee cup down. ,,Unfortunately, I have an urgent meeting with the council. They've been quite insistent on discussing the new security measures, since.. you know'' she says, Zelda rolling her eyes slightly at her statement. Of course you knew what the supreme was talking about, several academy's and covens having been attacked lately and you knew this was far more important.
As you glance at Zelda, hoping she would at least be free, she shows the same guilty glance as she lights a cigarette. ,,And I'm afraid, I have to join Cordelia'' she huffs, knowing security measures are important but equally she wanted nothing more than to at least have a break this weekend. You nod thoughtfully, forcing a gentle smile and pretending this didn't hurt but at the same time who are you to whine about something as important as this. ,,I'm sorry sweetheart'' Cordelia coos, brushing her hand against your cheek with a guilty expression.
,,It's okay Delia'' you reassure but both witches are able to see right through you, not just due to their magic and abilities but also having been by your side for a very long time and knowing whenever you are playing it cool in front of them. ,,How about dinner tonight? just the three of us?'' your redhead girlfriends suggest and you beam a little upon hearing her offer. ,,Would you both be done by then?'' you ask a little hesitantly, knowing that those kind of meetings can take hours sometimes. ,,We'll make sure we are dear'' Zelda encourages and you trust her every word. ,,I'll take care of it'' you announce happily before Cordelia's brown eyes meet yours.
,,You don't have to sweetheart'' she tries with a head tilt but you are quite adamant, always happy to make your lovers happy. ,,What do you have in mind my love?'' Zelda asks affectionately as she abandons her cigarette in a nearby ashtray. ,,I'll see what I can find, leave it to me'' you announce happily before they nod contently. And so, with a plan in place, the three of you finish breakfast, enjoying the fleeting moment of togetherness before the days responsibilities pull you in different directions. You are the first one to leave, wanting to give both witches some space to prepare for their meeting and wanting to make sure you could make this dinner special. They both part you with loving glances, thank yous and kisses goodbye.
,,I need to stop by home first, Hilda has some kind of emergency apparently'' Zelda announces to her blonde girlfriend with a hint of annoyance in her voice. ,,Oh, is everything alright?'' Cordelia asks, concern laced in her voice, ,,Don't worry, probably a baking disaster of some sorts'' the witch snorts and the blonde can't help but smirk at her girlfriends antics. ,,See you there'' she smiles before they kiss goodbye. While Zelda teleports back towards greendale, you make your way towards the markets, Cordelia getting ready for her meeting and glancing over the documents they had sent beforehand one more time.
As you make it to the markets, you instantly feel at home, as Cordelia would take you here often on weekend mornings, picking up either flowers, ingredients or fresh produce with you. She had always made it a habit but since knowing you she enjoyed going with you even more, even before the two of you had become so close, although as you think about it a little further, you believe one of the reasons you had fallen for the supreme was how she took you around the markets with the brightest smile, holding onto your hand and guiding you from stall to stall with such excitement that it made your heart quickly beat faster for her. You had thought about the kind of meal to make on your way there already and eventually settled on both Zelda and Cordelia's favourite. As you walk through the markets, greeted by some familiar faces as they recognised you by now, you purchase several different ingredients.
Meanwhile, Zelda had made it to her home in Greendale, brushing past Ambrose who had greeted her with a quick ,,Hello Auntie'' before rushing into his room with several books and snacks as if he was planning something. And if Zelda wasn't so busy, she would have investigated what he was up to but she couldn't make the time to care. ,,What is it Hilda? I'm incredibly busy with this council business'' she huffs as she walks into the kitchen, feeling both annoyed and a little on edge what her sister wanted. The blonde stands by the kitchen island, some fresh cupcakes in front of her, as well as a fresh pot of coffee and tea. Zelda approaches with a raised eyebrow before glancing at her sister. ,,So?'' she asks with a raised eyebrow before the blonde looks away, trying to remain serious. ,,Well you have been so busy at the academy and you know.. with your girls'' she begins, giggling excitedly at the later part. ,,And I just really wanted to catch up'' she speaks, forcing a bright smile in the hopes that Zelda wouldn't be too upset and end up killing her for this.
,,Catch up?'' Zelda scoffs almost sarcastically as she couldn't believe her sister made her come all the way here for that. ,,Oh please Zelds, I made your favourite'' she tries with a beaming smile and the redhead simply rolls her eyes before taking a seat, lighting a cigarette and letting Hilda pour her a cup of coffee and slowly sliding a plate with a cupcake in front of her. ,,So how have you been Zelds? the girls?'' she asks excitedly and despite her cold demeanour, the redhead appreciated the gesture nevertheless, after the last year having grown closer to her sister than ever before and even if she wouldn't admit it to anyone or herself she had missed her, especially being so busy lately.
While the two sisters catch up, Cordelia had made her way to the council meeting, making it there way too early but wanting to catch up with some of the people from the academy's that had been attacked and hoping to offer her support if they needed anything at all. As the weather had taken a turn for the worse, you decided that you wouldn't be able to find the last few ingredients at the markets, trying another store but after this also being unsuccessful, you decide to abandon the things you had purchased already at the academy, before heading to Greendale, hoping you could either find some other seasonal things there or possibly being able to ask Hilda for some assistance what to do about this meal, because you knew by now if anyone could cook or bake then it was her. With practiced ease, you teleport into Greendale, stopping by the Main Street first before heading into a shop.
,,You're late'' Cordelia states with a chuckle as Zelda finally joins her for the council meeting, the redhead instantly rolling her eyes. ,,Everything okay with Hilda?'' the supreme asks, always having been fond of her girlfriends sister and especially her kindness and humour. ,,Yeah, believe it or not she wanted to catch up'' the redhead huffs before Cordelia tilts her head a little. ,,That's very sweet'' she coos, quickly stealing a kiss before the two of them make their way into the main room, joining both the council and the other headmistresses and witches and warlocks in charge from academy's around the country. Thunder begins rumbling outside, illuminating the room with bright flashes, matching the seriousness of the subject, as well as a certain witches mood.
Time seems to pass by as slow as possible, Zelda fidgeting with her rings as she was growing impatient, wanting nothing more for this to be over and to smoke, while Cordelia listened intently, knowing the importance of this, despite finding her girlfriends antics quite adorable. ,,You know'' Cordelia begins whispering ,,You can pretend to go to the bathroom and steal away for a smoke'' she chuckles and Zelda smirks, finding more and more reasons why she loved Cordelia. In a swift motion, she stands up, straightening her skirt before excusing herself to the bathroom, the supreme trying hard to suppress a smile as Zelda walks away, swaying her hips more than necessary on the way out, causing for the blondes cheeks to be coated in a slight red shade. For a moment, Cordelia reaches for her phone, checking for any notifications but there aren't any and it leaves a slight bitter taste in her mouth as you hadn't checked in with her yet and it had been hours of them being here.
As Zelda returns a few moments later, having tried to cover up the smell of smoke with some perfume, Cordelia again leans in close before whispering ,,Have you heard from Y/N?'' and the redhead simply shakes her head, however noticing the concern laced in her girlfriends features. ,,I'm sure she's fine, probably getting lost shopping at the markets or blasting music while preparing dinner'' and the supreme chuckles, able to imagine both scenarios so well and so she sighs a little before focusing on the meeting again as both her attention and input was undeniably needed, considering she was the supreme after all.
It's not until hours later when the same concern seems to reappear on the supreme's features and mind as they had both finished the council meeting and neither had a message. Cordelia's concerned brown eyes meet Zelda's green ones and despite the redhead knowing her girlfriend was prone to overreact and worry too much, she also found it a little strange, despite her not one to admit such a thing. ,,I'll call her'' the supreme announces, clutching the phone to her ear in anticipation. ,,Straight to voicemail'' she announces before her eyebrows furrow in confusion. ,,I'm sure she'll be home'' Zelda tries encouraging the supreme before Zelda reaches for Cordelia's shaky hands before the two of them teleport back into the academy in New Orleans.
As soon as they step inside, they find both darkness and silence, the academy both dead quiet and no one inside. All of the witches had left for the weekend and so it was no surprise, however you not being there concerned them. ,,Maybe she went to Greendale?'' Cordelia suggests and despite that outcome not making any sense, Zelda agrees, sure this was just some mixup. ,,Let me go and check, you stay here incase she comes back but I'll let you know'' Zelda reassures, holding onto the blondes hands before pressing a kiss to her forehead in order to ground the supreme a little. With a comforting smile, the redhead disappears in front of the supreme's eyes, quite literally blasting into dinner at her home in Greendale.
,,Zelds? what are you doing here?'' Hilda asks with a hint of concern and surprise after having seen Zelda hours before to catch up. ,,I-'' she begins but before she can finish, the phone interrupts them, causing Hilda to hold up her finger ,,Just a sec''. The blonde hops towards the telephone before speaking ,,Spellman Sister's mortuary, how may I help?'' the blonde speaks with excitement, before her features turn incredibly serious. ,,Oh dear right'' she says, listening to the person on the other side of the phone speak further and share some more details. ,,And you are sure on the name?'' she asks before her features both tense and drop further. Zelda doesn't pay much attention to the call as she had gotten used to them by now, before lighting a cigarette, wondering whether you may have been here and she may have simply just missed you and you may already be with Cordelia by now.
However, with a soft whoosh Cordelia appears right beside the redhead, causing for her features to wash over with confusion. ,,Cordelia?'' the redhead speaks in confusion, abandoning the cigarette she was about to light. ,,I- something is wrong, I don't have a good feeling'' she explains, the concern written across her face. Zelda watches as Hilda returns, her expression unreadable as she locked both shocked and traumatised. ,,Hilda?'' the redhead asks in a serious tone, having seen that expression a few times before. The supreme's head snaps towards the blonde's, not having noticed her presence until now. ,,Um- they- are'' she begins, unable to finish her sentence. ,,They- bringing- a body'' she stutters, before Zelda rolls her eyes, having more important things to worry about as of right now. ,,Well yes Hilda, this is a mortuary after all'' she hisses, but Cordelia can already tell that something was wrong.
,,It's- oh god how am I going to say this-'' she begins, tears welling in her eyes. ,,Just spit it out'' Zelda hisses, not in the mood to deal with her sister antics. ,,It's Y/N'' she finally announces, before the room begins spinning for both the redhead and blonde, staring at Hilda in both disbelief and shock. ,,Oh don't be ridiculous, it can't be Y/N'' Zelda remarks, covering up her inner turmoil and disbelief of her sisters statement. ,,I-'' Hilda stutters, unsure what to say as the people on the phone seemed quite adamant. Cordelia remains frozen in her spot, her worst fear finally coming true and her not having any doubts about this as you had been nowhere to be found. ,,What did they say? how do they know its her? why would she be in Greendale?'' Zelda begins questioning her sister as she paces around the room, lighting a cigarette. ,,I don't know Zelds, I'm so sorry'' Hilda announces, taking a seat at the table as the shock had rippled through her bones.
,,How long until they get here?'' Cordelia finally speaks, meeting Hilda's eyes before the blonde looks down. ,,About twenty minutes'' Hilda announces, offering the supreme to sit but she declines, feeling like her world had stopped spinning when hearing her statement. Zelda remains pacing, with each minute passing, her impatience growing as she lights cigarette after cigarette, chain-smoking her concern away and still thinking this is some kind of mixup. The three of them are startled, as Ambrose steps into the room excitedly, dancing along to some music that none of them could hear. ,,What's for dinner auntie-'' he asks excitedly before laying eyes upon both his aunts and Cordelia and their expressions.
,,Woah what's wrong, who died'' he jokes, assuming this was just some catastrophe at an academy, not realising the extend of the situation yet. Cordelia's eyes swell with tears further as Zelda gives him a glare that could kill him if she tried hard enough. ,,Ambrose darling, they are bringing in a body'' Hilda announces gently, before his features grow serious. ,,It's Y/N'' she carries on before his face turns pale, finally understanding the extend of the situation. His face snaps towards the hallway as he hears a car approaching, quickly glancing at his aunties before assuring ,,I'll go check'' not wanting to put that burden on either of them. ,,Thank you'' Hilda speaks softly, before the real waiting game begins.
Ambrose tries his best to move the body downstairs as quickly and safely as possible. To his surprise, the three women walk down the staircase, joining him with faced filled with hope and anticipation. He is quick to open the body bag, taking a look at the persons features before his heart stops in his chest. ,,I'm so sorry'' he sighs, before their heads snap towards him. ,,No..No.. No'' Cordelia cries out, taking a step closer and seeing your lifeless and pale expression. ,,This can't be'' Zelda sighs in disbelief still, taking a step closer before taking a look at you. ,,That's not her.. that's not our darling girl'' she shakes her head in disbelief, despite the others knowing this was just the shock speaking. ,,I need to.. I need to see her wrist'' Cordelia speaks through tears, before Ambrose glances at Hilda in confusion, the blonde simply nodding through her own tears. ,,She has a little tattoo on her wrist'' the blonde chokes on a sob before Ambrose carefully inspects your wrist, finding the tattoo and sighing.
,,What happened we can fix this, Zelda right?'' Cordelia begs, the shock rippling through her body as she shakes uncontrollably. Now Cordelia was always strong, put together and able to stay calm in situations like these. However after losing most of the people closest to her in her life, watching one of her most promising witches die in her arms, her mother and true mother figure, she couldn't deal with this, not you, not her sweetheart. ,,Ambrose, how long has it been?'' Zelda asks, trying to keep her composure and ignoring your lifeless body besides them. ,,Auntie.. I can't tell like this, I'd need to..'' he begins but his auntie is having none of it. ,,I need to know now'' she speaks through gritted teeth, Hilda in the meantime holding onto Cordelia's sobbing shoulders.
,,Give me some time and I'll figure it out'' he explains, beginning to put on his gown and glasses before Hilda ushers them away and upstairs. ,,Let me make you some tea darling'' Hilda speaks softly, ushering both women to sit down. Zelda remains standing, pacing around the room before again lighting cigarette after cigarette while Cordelia is falling apart on the same chair Hilda had sat her in moments ago. ,,This can't be real, what was she even doing in Greendale for satans sake?'' Zelda hisses, her heels echoing against the floor. ,,I don't know darling but Ambrose will figure it all out'' Hilda tries, trying to remain strong for them, despite the thought of your death also killing her as she had always been fond of you and treating you like a daughter.
It takes around ten minutes before Ambrose rushes upstairs, holding onto the doorframe with a shocked expression, as they all rise to their feet. ,,It's um... it's witch hunters'' he speaks, finally catching his breath. ,,What?'' Cordelia asks in shock before he ushers them downstairs. ,,Remember the bodies you asked me to examine from those attacks?'' he speaks as he examines the bullet further. ,,It's exactly the same like the others'' he recalls. Cordelia's features turn even paler as the extent of the situation settles in. ,,I assume it's been an hour maybe two'' he explains before the supreme seems to snap back into reality. ,,Zelda we need to speak to the council at once, check on the academies'' she speaks and Zelda simply looks at her with a raised eyebrow, caring more about you than any of those things as of right now. ,,We can fix this still, if we try, she may have a chance'' the high priestess speaks, having done her fair share of resurrections herself.
,,Go, we have got this, right Ambrose?'' Hilda offers, before he nods confidently. Cordelia steps over your body before leaning in a little closer ,,You've got this darling, please come back to us'' she begs, a tear running down her features before she presses a kiss to your forehead. ,,I promise we have this'' Hilda encourages her sister, noticing her hesitation. ,,Bring her back to us.. please'' she begs while reaching for your hand and is met with two reassuring glances before the two witches disappear into the night. While they inform both the council and make sure their academies, witches and warlocks are safe, Hilda and Ambrose begin the ritual, gathering the necessary items before beginning the ritual, chanting some latin words and working hard on bringing you back home where you belong.
The last hours had been nothing but painful, after your arrival in Greendale, you had managed to actually gather the ingredients for dinner for your girlfriends. As you glanced at the time, you realised that you still had a while to return to the academy to cook and so you decided to check on Hilda as you hadn't seen her in a week as well as Ambrose. However, you hadn't noticed that someone had been following you, unaware that they had been following you for a while, in New Orleans already days ago and watching your every step, simply waiting for the opportunity to get you alone. Before you knew it and could reach the Spellman's home, they managed to find your trace, dragging you deeper into the woods, demanding answers from you about your girlfriends. They didn't care for you, nothing special, just a simple witch but they had figured your connection to both the supreme and another powerful witch and so they wanted their location, ideally the councils whereabouts to cause as much death as possible.
Much to their surprise, you had remained silent, despite the torture and abuse they had used on you in order to reach their agenda and get their answers. You would have never given anything up, as you would quite literally protect them both with your life, knowing their lives and positions meant so much more than your own. After they didn't get any answers out of you, they felt like they didn't need you anymore, knowing time was running out and so they gave you one last chance before they pulled the trigger, everything going black afterwards. And ever since you had found yourself in this strange darkness. Moments before your life was coming to an end, you had seen a little collection of your happiest memories, growing up in Greendale, meeting Zelda for the first time, teaching alongside Cordelia and spending hours in the greenhouse with her, your first kiss with both of them and your last. After that, everything had been quiet, peaceful and darker than any dream you had ever had.
Eventually, you find yourself in a dark forest and somehow you must have known that this wasn't real as it felt like any other one of your nightmares. Unaware, that you were quite literally fighting death, as Ambrose and Hilda tried their hardest on bringing you back. It was the biggest fight of your life, walking past all of the people you had lost in your life, the people that had guided you, the people that you had lost years ago as they begged you to join them, follow them further into the darkness. But the only thing on your mind was Cordelia, almost being able to feel the way she'd kiss you on the forehead, almost being able to feel the way Zelda would hold onto your hand.
It takes another couple of hours before Zelda and Cordelia return to you, having secured both academies and alerted the council so they could take care of this further as their main concern was you. As they find themselves in the basement again, they are surrounded by candles, Cordelia a little shocked as she knew about the different kind of magic Zelda practiced but never having seen a ritual quite like this and the darkness of the whole thing. ,,Any news?'' the supreme asks, anxiously as she finds Ambrose and Hilda sitting beside you. ,,No.. it's all up to her now, she needs to fight her way back to us'' he explains, before they nod with sad glances, Zelda's green ones meeting Cordelia's brown ones. They join them in the end, sitting beside you on the floor, praying in their own ways, Zelda praying to Hecate and Cordelia begging over and over again for someone to bring you back.
,,You can do this darling, you need to find your way back to us'' Cordelia whispers, tears pouring down her cheeks as it had been hours of them sitting there. And after hours of aimlessly walking through the forests of death, you finally manage to get towards the end, hearing their voices literally calling for you. However, the fight against life and death wasn't that easy, as you walked past what looked like your own grave, your name engraved on the gravestone and the thought of you being buried in this dark forest made you feel uneasy, wanting nothing more than to return home. And so with one last effort, you keep crawling towards them, at this point beaten and defeated by the looming shades of death. And then with one loud shriek you finally take a breath, your entire body on fire and hurting as the wound from the earlier bullet impact that Ambrose had successfully removed stings through your entire body.
,,Y/N'' Cordelia breathes out in relief as she begins sobbing uncontrollably. ,,Oh praise Satan'' Zelda breathes out in relief, wiping at her own tears. Ambrose raises an eyebrow at her statement, before Hilda pats his shoulder. ,,Well done darling'' she praises him as he sighs in relief that this ritual had actually worked. ,,Darling it's okay shh.. don't speak'' Cordelia coos as she watches you struggle against this pain. Zelda could only imagine what you must feel like as of right now, having seen this kind of awakening a few times. ,,You need to rest my darling girl'' she coos before the supreme softly strokes your cheeks, guiding you softly back to sleep as she knows you are safe as of right now.
Eventually, they managed to get you upstairs, into Zelda's bedroom, keeping you comfortable as they had washed and gotten you into some new and less bloody clothes. Cordelia watched in pain as Zelda carefully inspected and treated your injuries, some very visible ones as your body was coated in bruises and cuts from the attack. They both stay right by your side, Cordelia having used one of her spells to ease the pain. Zelda having some magic tea from Hilda right by your side for when you would wake up. The two witches had in the meantime settled on the bed beside you, wanting nothing more than to stay right here for you whenever you would wake next, despite knowing it could take hours, possible days for that to happen as your body needed the right amount of time to adjust and regain it's strength.
The next time you wake it's several hours later, the moon illuminating the dark bedroom. As you open your eyes, you realise the unfamiliar surroundings and panic for a moment until you realise it's your girlfriends bedroom. Inspecting your body and the lack of pain due to Cordelia's magic, you debate whether it had all been a dream for a moment. With shaky legs, you manage to rise to your tired feet, turning on the little lamp in the corner in order to see, before laying eyes upon Cordelia and Zelda, sitting against the head frame of the bed and resting on each other's shoulder, still in the clothes they had been wearing this morning. And then everything dawns on you, the attack, the forest and waking up on the floor besides your lovers. ,,Delia? Zelds?'' you whisper, as the shock of it all seems to drown you for a moment.
They both immediately wake with a sharp inhale of their breathing, before they rush to your side. ,,Sweetheart, what are you doing up?'' Cordelia speaks, her voice filled with concern. ,,I- I woke up'' you explain in confusion, your voice still hoarse from the events. ,,Sit down my love'' Zelda instructs and you oblige, feeling fatigue wash over you. Cordelia helps you to sit down on the bed, before Zelda passes you some water. ,,Drink up'' she instructs and you do as you are told again, the cold liquid feeling nice against your dry throat. As you pass her the glass again, you suddenly find Zelda crying, despite trying to hide her sniffles. ,,Why are you crying Zelds?'' you ask in confusion, your eyebrows knitting. ,,Darling, do you remember what happened?'' Cordelia asks gently, not wanting to overwhelm you with the truth.
,,I think I was dead?'' you question, meeting their gazes as their faces turn a little paler. ,,You're safe now darling, we brought you back'' the supreme coos, before taking you into her arms. ,,Who did this to you?'' Zelda hisses before taking a seat beside you and gently stroking your bruised and beaten cheeks. ,,Witch hunters I think'' you speak, trying to recollect what had happened. ,,I don't know who they are but they..'' you begin but quickly stop yourself, not wanting to concern your girlfriends further. ,,They what?'' Zelda asks with a hint of seriousness in her voice as anger overtakes her and she was for sure going to kill them once she found them. ,,It's okay, doesn't matter'' you quickly try to brush it off but Cordelia can tell there was more to this and she desperately needed to know in order to find them.
,,Come on darling, tell us'' the supreme encourages, gently moving your chin so you can face her. As your eyes lock with her brown pleading ones you begin speaking again ,,They wanted the councils location and both of yours'' you admit, almost whispering. Cordelia's eyes close, instantly understanding the extend of the situation and knowing that this happened because you'd rather protect them both. ,,And then what? they just shot you anyway?'' Zelda asks in confusion, not having the full picture yet. ,,No honey'' Cordelia tries but you simply glance into your lap before explaining. ,,I didn't tell them anything'' you mumble into yourself before Zelda's head snaps towards you. ,,And why ever not?'' she asks in confusion before you whisper ,,Because I would rather keep you both safe''.
The statement causes for silence to fill the room, Cordelia simply pulling you into her arms again, holding you close to her chest, knowing her sweetheart to be a fighter and she knew that you would rather keep them safe, given your history and what a fighter you truly are and how big your heart had always been. Zelda struggles to understand your statement, while she would have told the witch hunters to go to hell and not say anything either, she doesn't understand why you didn't. She'd rather have them find them and fight them herself, rather than seeing you in danger and this extend of pain. Slowly though, as gentle brown eyes meet hers, she begins relaxing a little, understanding how true and how big your love for them truly was in order to sacrifice yourself to keep the both of them safe.
,,You did a brave thing my love'' Zelda finally speaks, gently taking your hands into her own. ,,But do me favour?'' she asks, encouraging you to meet her eyes. ,,Please never do that again'' she tuts and you and Cordelia can't help but chuckle, feeling a little lighter being in their arms again and seeing your girlfriend back in her old antics and habits. ,,Promise'' you whisper before holding onto the redhead. ,,I'll never stop keeping you safe though'' you mumble before she raises an eyebrow. ,,Maybe we can work on other ways for that sweetie'' Cordelia tries before you smile at her with a nod. After being in their arms a little while longer you glance at the supreme once more before fiddling with your fingers as a nervous habit. ,,What's going to happen now?'' you ask anxiously and the blonde can quickly tell what you are referring to. ,,The academies are safe, the council is handling it and will find them, I promise'' she reassures.
,,So you'll both stay tonight?'' you ask and your girlfriends eyes lock as your question kind of kills them both. They realise then that they had been prioritising the academies too much in order for you to ask this kind of question after a day like this. Without speaking, they decide here and there to dedicate more time to you, more time with the three of you and to figure this out for you. ,,Of course we will stay, silly'' Zelda tuts, before lovingly stroking your cheek and pressing a soft kiss to your lips. ,,Bummer about that dinner'' you sigh after a while, causing your girlfriends to chuckle lowly. ,,Are you hungry darling?'' Cordelia asks softly and you shily nod, considering the time. ,,What do you want, anything for my darling girl'' Zelda speaks softly and you shily glance at her before requesting some grilled cheese. ,,On it'' she chuckles before pressing a kiss to your cheeks and leaving for a moment.
Cordelia simply pulls you into her arms, gently stroking over every cut as if you are the most fragile thing on the planet before gently stroking your stomach, careful of the scar that now formed where the bullet had hit you hours before. ,,Does it still hurt a lot angel?'' she asks carefully before you shake your head. ,,Your magic worked well'' you smile before she looks at you in confusion. ,,How did you know?'' she asks before you giggle. ,,Delia I died and then you brought me back, without your magic I'm sure it would hurt a hell of a lot more'' and Cordelia can't help but chuckle despite the seriousness of it all, simply glad to have you back in their arms and to have her same brave girl with the same antics and humour back. And despite knowing this would still be a lot of work tomorrow, both in finding the witch hunters and keeping everyone safe in the future but also working with you through what you had endured. But she feels confident as of right now, having you in their arms, as you quite literally crawled right back to them, never being able to simple leave them like this, even through death.

CAOS
Both Prudence blackwood and Ambrose Spellman wanting you
You being a witch
Tumblr media
I would like to think Prudence and Ambrose would already be together
You had been at the school most of your life but they never noticed you
You had some class with Prudence but she never once looked your way
Maybe you were in a different group of friends or you was just shy
They both were the type to be outgoing and live in the moment
Which to you, was just trying to finish the academy in one piece
Never go out and party
Or do the same exact curricula in the magic school
Now this is how the 3 of you met
You had just got done with exams and your friend Elapeth wanted to celebrate. There was a party happening at the school and she wanted you to go with her
You didn’t want to go. Party’s are not your thing
But she convinced you to go, talking about how she was going to be lonely and it was going to be a one-time thing
So you agreed, not thinking you were going to be doing what you did
Elapeth got out an outfit that she knows you was going to look good it. And make you look hot as
At first, you were just watching your friend have fun. Dancing with everyone around her. You stayed at the bar and watch
Dorian saw you, asking if you wanted a drink. At first you said no but the more he was talking about a drink that he thinking you would like. The more you wanted it.
It started with one drink but it was so good that you had about 6 of them
You didn’t know what he up in them but it made you feel good. Made you wanna dance
So you did just that, first dancing with Elapeth and the others around you
Everyone was pretty much on top of each other but you were paying know mind.
Just dance your little heart out
You could feel eyes on you
But like who wouldn’t, you are FINE ASF)
There was someone behind you, holding on to your hips and moving to the music
You put your head back to whoever it was
Surprise, surprise
It was Prudences
She gave you a devil's smile
You never seen her so close before
But the music was moving your body too much to care
She started to whisper in your ear
“I never knew you could dance like this. You even got Ambrose mesmerized”
You looked straight across to see the famous Ambrose
He had a drink in his hand, arm spread out above the couch. Man spreading
The look in his eyes didn’t make you want to look away
You can tell he was looking at your body, prudence was placing her hands
On satan’s life, you never thought this would happen to you
The next song was slow and desirable
You close your eyes for a second and then he is there
Ambrose was in front of you
You were in the middle with them, doing things you never thought would happen to you
Prudence kissing your neck while Ambrose was sucking the soul out of you
( I mean kissing 😏)
And then they switch positions
The whole night it was just the 3
At one point in time, they shared a look
Pulling you away from it all
(Let me know, I will add more details for a different story )
*
You woke up at a house you had never been to before
You looked under the covers to see that all your clothes were missing
You didn’t know what Dorian did you those drinks - you didn’t know if it was a good things or a bad thing
But all of a sudden you could feel someone shifting onto your side, laying an arm across your stomach
You look to see it to be the one and only Ambrose in your right
Your eyes widen out
He was still sound asleep
You look the other way to see Prudence facing the wall to your left
Your first thought was that you had to get it out of there
Slowly, quickly, and quickly as you can, put your clothes on. Walked out to the hallway so you didn’t wake them
And teleported yourself back to the Academy
Taking a shower and looking into the mirror
Hickeys !!! All over
You had to put on a black fitted turtleneck shirt on
You thought that they weren’t going to remember you. That you was just a one night stand
You knew you could
So you walked down the hallways of the school hung out but walked like nothing happened
But heaven you were wrong
Remember the class you have with her now
You walked in and sat in your normal spot, next to Melvin
You were behind the two other weird sisters (Dorcas & Agatha)
Prudence counted a glimpse of you and walked over
Once again you didn’t think largely of it but not until you saw Melvin packing his things and walking to a different place
But you didn’t care, you led on the cold table
But didn’t say a word to you in the lesson
Waking out of the class, it was time for lunch
You sat in your regular seat, you sitting on the outside while Elapeth sat on the inside
Just talking about upcoming words for some classic
Out of nowhere, you had Ambrose on your right side and Prudence on your left
Just like the night before
Now you thought you didn’t get people's attention
YOU DO NOW!!
Prudence moved closer to you
“You thought you were going to get away that easy?” - prudence
“What are you talking about?” - you
“Last night, you made quite that show” - Ambrose
You got up from the table to get away from the eyes
“Where do you think you going little dancer?” - Ambrose
“Away from you both, I don’t know what happened last night but it was a mistake” - you
“Oh no it wasn’t, we had a taste of you. And won’t stop until we can have all of you “ - Ambrose
“You belong to us now. And everyone will know it!” Prudence
“For satan's sake, what are you talking about!”- you
“Look at your neck, arms, back and inner thigh. It says otherwise” - Prudence
You better pray to satan that you are dreaming this all

ೃ⁀➷ Imagine Zelda comforting you during a thunderstorm ·˚ ༘
Tumblr media
Both you and Zelda had spent the afternoon at the kitchen table, each following their own trail of thoughts, when suddenly a loud rumbling from outside started to sound. A lightning strike followed. You flinched at the abrupt sound, making Zelda jolt from your sudden movement. “Scared of a little thunderstorm now, are we?”, Zelda sighed heavily and put down her newspaper. Brushing a strand of hair out of her forehead, she decided to soften her expression.
“No… I just didn’t expect the sound”, you folded your arms in front of your chest. Unwilling to believe your hesitant stuttering, Zelda got up and motioned with her hand to follow her. The older witch stood in front of the great living room window waiting for you to join. You’ve always hated thunderstorms, something unpredictable about them creeped you out. You slowly walked over to her unbeknownst to what she wanted you to do now. As you stood next to her, Zelda wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you close to her. The witch pointed out to her yard, which was currently watered by the heavy rain that accompanied the ongoing thunderstorm.
"There, there, my dear. Thunderstorms are a part of nature's grand performance”, her raspy voice was almost soothing. “Think of it as the sky's way of cleansing the earth. The storm will pass and you'll see, it won't last forever”, Zelda brushed her lips against your temple and swiftly caressed your side before taking a step back from you. You remained at the window, recalling your girlfriend's words. Although it seemed messy, the storm slowly appeared calming to you and your fears were slightly calmed.

*Lucifer’s POV*
Someone had the audacity to steal my daughter from me when she was just a young child. I tracked her for years, but I ended up losing her trail a few years ago. It was like she never existed in the first place. Whoever took her must be powerful in order to hide her from me. This is the only reason I had a second child with a mortal. Sabrina was an amazingly powerful witch and I knew she had amazing potential. Yet I never stopped looking for my first born. I will get my daughter back.
*Y/N’s POV*
I woke up to my alarm and groaned. Another day, another training day… I got dressed quickly and went out into the kitchen where my Dad was cooking breakfast. He turned to look at me with a smile as I took a seat at the island.
“Morning sunshine, hungry?” He asked and I nodded. He placed a plate of food in front of me and I quickly started eating.
“Slow down, there’s plenty of food.” He said and I slowed a bit.
“Your Uncle will be here in a bit.” He said as he took his own seat.
“Which one today?” I asked after I swallowed a mouth full of food.
“Michael, you’re gonna train with him today.” He saida and I nodded.
“When is my training gonna be over? I’ve been working every day since I was like five.” I groaned and he chuckled.
“When we’re sure you’re ready.” He said and I rolled my eyes. That’s the answer they always give me.
“Ready for what? I don’t even know what I’m training for!” I said, getting annoyed again.
“Y/N, watch your tone.” He said and I groaned, pushing my plate away.
“I’m so sick of training! Can’t I just go to school like a normal kid?” I asked and he shook his head.
“We’ve talked about this sunshine, you can’t go to school. Instead you train with me and your Uncles.” He said and I rested my head on the counter.
“But what am I training for?” I asked. Before Dad could answer or reather not answer again, the front door opened and in walked my Uncle.
“Morning everyone! Who’s ready for training?” Michael asked as he walked right into our kitchen. I looked up at him and groaned.
“Someone slept on the wrong side of the bed.” He chuckled as he grabbed a cup of coffee.
“She’s questioning her training again.” Dad said and I rolled my eyes.
“Maybe if you guys told me what the hell I was training for then I wouldn’t have to question it!” I said and they both narrowed their eyes at me.
“What have we told you about using that word?” Dad asked and I sighed.
“Sorry…” I mumbled.
“Listen, Y/N, you just need to do what your Dad and us Uncles say and everything will be perfect.” Michael said and I rolled my eyes again.
“Whatever, am I actually going to be able to use my powers today or is it another pretend day?” I asked.
“It’s still too early to use your powers.” Michael answered and I groaned.
“Dad!” I said and he sighed.
“Just listen to your Uncle.” He said.
“It’s getting boring using them by myself…” I mumbled.
“What was that?” Dad asked. I looked over at them and they both looked shocked and worried.
“You’ve been using your powers by yourself!?” Michael shouted.
“A little…” I sheepishly answered.
“Y/N Y/M/N Anderson! You know you’re not allowed to use your powers unless one of us gives you the okay!” Dad scolded.
“It’s not like anyone sees me since I’ve been locked in this stupid house forever and it’s just a little bit, what’s the big deal?” I asked.
“The big deal is that’s it’s dangerous! There’s a reason you’re not allowed to use your powers.” Dad said.
“Then tell me the reason! Dad I’ve been lost about this stuff my whole life! You weren’t even gonna tell me that I had powers until I did some magic by accident!” I pointed out.
“Y/N you’re Dad and us are just trying to protect you.” Michael said and I groaned.
“I’m so tired of that excuse!” I shouted and flung my hands back. When I did I accidently shot some magic out and broke the window and a vase.
“Y/N, calm down.” Dad said while holding his hands up in surrender.
“No! I want to know the truth!” I shouted. I felt my eyes change, but didn’t pay an attention to it. My Dad and Uncle looked at me with wide fearful eyes.
“Y/N you need to relax right now.” Michael said and made his sword appear.
“I’ll calm down when you two finally tell me why I need to do all this shit!” I hissed. There was a sudden noise behind me and I looked over. There was a portal in our livingroom and someone or something was coming out of it.
“Y/N come here now.” Dad said in the most serious tone I’ve ever heard from him. I rushed over to him and he pushed me behind him. My Dad and Uncle stepped in front of me and Michael held his sword up, ready to fight. I tried to peek around them, but they did a really good job at blocking my view.
“You’re not welcome here, Brother.” Michael said and I furrowed my brow. My Uncles wouldn’t show up in a portal like that.
“I should have known you were the ones that took her from me.” A voice I don’t recognize said.
“Leave, now.” Dad growled.
“Where is she?” The voice asked.
“Not here.” Michael answered. Who the hell were they talking about?
“Nonsens, I can feel her power.” The voice said and I could hear a smirk.
“You’re not welcome here.” Michael growled and held his sword closer to the person. He lent forward to threaten the person, but he revealed me behind him a bit. The person looked past my Uncle at me and his smirk grew.
“There she is.” He said. My Dad and Uncle both glanced back at me, but I was just staring at the strange man who seemed strangely familiar to me.
“Come here, Y/N.” The man said and my Dad placed his arm in front of me.
“She’s not going anywhere near you.” He growled.
“How do you know my name?” I asked and he raised a brow at me, but kept his smirk.
“Don’t talk to him, Y/N.” Michael said, his eyes not leaving the man.
“So she has no memory of me?” He asked and I furrowed my brow.
“She doesn’t need any, you’re just making our jobs harder!” Dad hissed.
“What the hell are you guys talking about?” I asked. Dad sent me a look and I mumbled an apology.
“Have you been keeping her in the dark on everything?” The man asked with a chuckle.
“Get out now!” Michael growled at him.
“Tell me darling, do you know that your so called Father and Uncles are angels?” He asked and my eyes widened.
“What?” I asked quietly.
“You’re ruining everything, like usual!” Dad shouted. I backed away from my Dad and Uncle. Dad looked back at me and he looked worried.
“Y/N? Sunshine? Don’t believe a word this man says.” Dad said and I looked back at him with narrowed eyes.
“Is it true? Are you and all my Uncles angels?” I asked and he looked over at Michael.
“Y/N, you need to listen to your Dad.” Michael said.
“Yes, she does.” The man said and took a step forward. Michael held his sword at the mans throat, but he didn’t look bothered by my Uncle.
“Keep your filthy mouth shut!” Michael said through clentched teeth.
“Why? All the girl wants to know is the truth.” He said with a smirk and my head shot over to him.
“You know the truth?” I asked.
“Don’t talk to him, Y/N!” Dad hissed at me.
“I should kill you right now.” Michael hissed.
“We both know Father wouldn’t be very happy with you if that happened.” The man’s smirk grew. His gaze found mine once again.
“You my dear are my daughter and your so called Father and Uncles stole you from me when you were only five.” He said and my eyes widened.
“W-What?” I whispered.
“He’s a liar, Y/N, don’t listen to a think he says.” Michael said, glaring daggers at the man. I looked over at my Dad and he looked scared.
“I-Is it true? Are you not my Dad?” I asked.
“Y/N I-”
“Don’t say a word! We can fix this as soon as we get rid of him! We’ll call the others and she’ll forget all about this! We’ll move her to another location and everything will still go as planned!” Michael said and I gasped.
“It’s true?” I asked and my Dad couldn’t even look at me.
“It was a valiant effort, but I’ll be taking my daughter back home now.” The man said. He took a step towards me and Michael tossed him across the room.
“Father may have my wings if I kill you, but he won’t mind if I hurt you.” He growled at the man.
“Get her somewhere safe.” He told the man I thought was my Dad, Gabriel.
“No!” I shouted and I felt so much power coursing through me. I looked down and my hands had swirling red and black power around them.
“She’s so much more powerful than you ever thought.” The man said with a smirk.
“Y/N, stop, we don’t want to hurt you.” Gabriel said to me.
“No! I want the truth and I want it now!” I said and my voice sounded a bit distorted. Micheal and Gabriel looked at each other giving the man time to make his way next to me.
“They stole you away from me, my darling girl, I’m here to bring you home.” The man said, touching my shoulder.
“I want the truth!” I shouted and my power pushed everyone away from me.
“Okay, just calm down! We’ll tell you the truth.” Gabriel said.
“What are you talking about! We can’t-”
“Do you want her to lose it to her powers?” Gabriel asked, cutting Michael off. Michael shut his mouth, but he didn’t look happy.
“Just take a seat, sunshine and I’ll tell you everything.” Gabriel said, taking a seat himself. I shook my head and crossed my arms.
“I’m staying right here.” I said and he nodded.
“For once he’s telling the truth. Your Uncles and I-”
“You’re not my Dad and they’re not my Uncles.” I said with narrowed eyes.
“You’re right, but we raised you since you were a child.” He said and I rolled my eyes. So what?
“We took you from your real Father because he’s not a good man and you’re destined to destroy him once and for all. God told us we needed to take you from him and raise you to kill him.” He said and my eyes widened.
“You’re the strongest being we’ve seen in centuries and God knew you’d be the one to take care of Lucifer once and for all.” He finished and I took everything in.
“Lucifer? As in…” I trailed off.
“The Devil, yes my darling girl.” The man said and I looked at him.
“You’re my Dad?” I asked and he gave me a smile.
“I’ve been looking for you for years.” He said, taking a step towards me. Micheal went to stop him, but I used my magic to push him away. The man smirked at him and made his way towards me.
“You are very powerful, dear, I can teach you how to use all of them.” He said.
“You’ll let me use them?” I asked and he nodded.
“Y/N please, you need to understand that he’ll use you for evil.” Gabriel said.
“Listen to your- Listen to Gabriel.” Micheal cut himself off.
“Why would I listen to the people that kidnapped, manipulated, and lied to me? Lucifer is the only one that’s told me the truth!” I hissed at him. Lucifer placed his hands on my shoulders and pulled my back against him.
“You were wrong for ever thinking you could manipulate my daughter into killing me.” He said to them.
“Y/N, please.” Gabriel begged, but I shook my head. Lucifer moved his hand and the same portal he used to come here appeared.
“Come, darling, it’s time you return home and meet your half sister.” He said and I smiled at him.
“I have a sister?” I asked and he nodded, offering me his hand. I took it and both angels rushed over to us.
“Y/N stop!” They shouted, but they were too slow. Lucifer and I jumped into the portal and he quickly closed it behind us. When we stepped through we were in what looked like a throne room.
“Welcome home, my darling daughter.” He said and I looked around in awe.
“I still can’t remember anything though…” I said sadly.
“Don’t worry, dear, we’ll get whatever they did to you out of your head.” He said and hugged me. I hugged him back and everything just felt right.

If love is a sin, my stake is already burning
[ z. s & c. g ]
part 1 here
I guess another part is in order after this, what do you think? Hope you're enjoying it as much as I'm enjoying writing it! 🫡🤞🏼
When you appear in front of the Robichaux's Academy of exceptional young ladies, you take a moment to collect your breath. You inhale for three seconds, and exhale for six, a little trick you've learned that helped you get it together. You're glad to be early, everything is so peaceful and quiet. However, it would be way more enjoyable if it wasn't for that annoying ringing in your ears, a constant reminder that Zelda had a point.
Making your way inside the academy, you walk on your tiptoes, heading to the kitchen to fetch yourself a glass of water. You easily find your way there and help yourself with what you need. Your hands tremble as you take sips of your water. After that, you put it in the sink with a sigh. Maybe, it's a simple lack of sugar, you think to yourself. It could be considering you didn't have time to eat anything back home.
You're not normally one that snoops around, but you're desperate to hide that annoying trembling of your fingers, that you're sure, Cordelia would notice. Lifting on the tiptoes you open the top shelf, trying to find anything with a pinch of sugar in it. You're happy to know that at the academy you're not the only witch with a sweet tooth. You find chocolate and nuts bars, rice cakes, plain biscuits, crackers, honey and cookie jar, marmalade and cereals.
You don't really have time nor the patience to sit down and eat properly so you decide to go for a spoon of honey, hoping it would boost your energy. You hum happily as you taste its sweetness on your tongue. It feels nice, you can't deny it. As you do that, a quite familiar chuckle comes to your ears. You immediately recognize the voice, and a wave of warmth rushes over you. You lick your lips, trying to wipe your mouth from any residual of honey, before turning around. There she is, still in her white dressing gown, looking absolutely ethereal.
"Craving sweet stuff, I see," she voices, taking graceful steps towards you. You bite your bottom lip, trying to suppress your own guilty smile. Your lashes flutter, when she is a few inches from you, "I'm sorry, I should have asked," you quickly apologize.
"Nonsense. This is your house," she places her hands upon your shoulders, offering you a gentle squeeze, "You're here early, though," she adds, tilting her head to the side, as to grasp any sign of discomfort in your eyes. The way she looks at you makes you feel both safe and vulnerable. Being the Supreme allows her a lot of things, one of them being a mind reader. But she is way too respectful to do such a thing, without permission.
You wince playfully, "you said that like it's a bother to you," your teasing causes a chuckle out of her, "I can leave and come back later, if you want," Cordelia clicks her tongue, and reaches out to grab both your wrists, "You know that's not what I meant by that, Celeste. I'm always happy to have you around," she confesses, her thumbs graze your skin affectionately.
"Are you now?", you hum, a little sarcastic, earning an eye roll from her. You feel her breath against your cheeks, calm and steady. She hums with a coy smile. You need a lot of willpower to keep your breathing at the same regular rhythm. She seems to notice that and decides to play a little with you, "Don't move," she whisper, and you frown, "Let me just—", she doesn't finish her sentence and you freeze in place when her hand brushes against your side, as she places it over the counter behind you to stabilize herself. Her thighs almost touch yours while she leans forward, "Grab this," Cordelia knows what she is doing, the grin on her face says so.
You hold your breath as her golden hair tickle your shoulder, her arm reaching out to grab herself a glass from the shelf just above your head. You blink in trance, feeling flustered by how Cordelia's front feels against you. Looking down, you spot her breast, and you suck in a breath. Her pupils gape at you doing that, but you don't see it, considering your eyes are elsewhere. You can't help the amused scoff that comes out of her right after. She's surely got a skin in the game. "All done," she mutters simply, backing away.
Your cheeks turn the same color of the setting sun on a summer day.
"Awesome," you reply awkwardly.
She takes a sip of her water, "would you fancy a proper breakfast instead of random spoons of honey?"
You shake your head, "I'm fine with this, thank you," when she gives you a skeptical look, you add, "it's perfectly nutritious," you allow yourself another mouthful of it. She giggles at the way your cheeks fill with honey, the tip of your tongue goes grasping some of it above your upper lip.
"You remind me of those little singing squirrels--" you scrunch up your face at that comment, "Don't tell me you mean the chipmunks?", the Supreme starts chuckling, giving you the answer you're looking for. You want to pretend you're annoyed, but truth be told you find it as funny as she does, if not more.
"No need to be embarrassed, they are adorable," she points out, mesmerized by how pretty you look when you blush.
You cross your arms over your chest, "You know, flattering me will get you nowhere"
"Would you bet on it?", she adds, with slightly narrowed eyes. She playfully pokes your chest, the tip of her tongue showing as she smiles almost wickedly at you. You hesitate for a couple of seconds, opening and closing your mouth in search for a proper answer, but nothing comes out.
"Wise girl," she praises against your lips.
"Cordelia", your breath falters. If only you were brave enough, you'd take that single step needed to shorten the gap between the two of you. Melt against her body, become one with her.
At that moment, other girls make their way to the kitchen, saving you, or cursing you, you weren't sure. Cordelia pulls back a bit. You couldn't bet on it, but a part of you believes to have grasped disappointment by their intrusion.
You recognize some of your students, which happily wave at you, some of them even tackle you in a big hug. Cordelia melts at the sight before her eyes, her hand comes stroking your back and when you turn to glance up at her, you see pride and gratitude in her eyes.
"Morning, Celeste!" Mallory is the next to greet you, "Morning to you," you respond with a kind smile.
Zoe greets you with poke on your shoulder and a cheeky grin. She briefly glances over Cordelia, who's now rummaging in a pack of pop tarts, "You're here early,"
You snort playfully, placing your hands over your hips, "Glad to see everyone is always so thrilled to have me around," you mutter sarcastically, making a clear reference to what Cordelia had told you before. She freezes as she bites into the pop tart, "Stop it," she half whines, looking absolutely adorable with food in mouth.
"Don't be silly, we all are head over heels for you," Mallory gushes.
You hum jokingly, before remembering one of the reasons why you showed up earlier, "I actually wanted to check on the bay tree's soil before the class."
"Mind if I come with you?", Cordelia is quick to ask.
You bow your head and attempt a knightly curtsy to impress her, "How can I say no to you?"
She peeps her tongue between her teeth. She leads you the way, turning her head just a bit to keep eye contact as you follow her right up, with a lopsided grin.
As the two of you walk towards the greenhouse, Zoe grabs the box of cereals, "I tell you, they will end up sleeping together within the next 10 days."
"I bet you twenty dollars it will happen even before that," Mallory replies with the same confident grin.
The other witch grins, before sealing the deal with a shake of hand.
*
"There you are," you gush, taking a careful look at the cute little bay tree you planted almost three weeks ago. If it hadn't been for your magic, you'd hardly see it stand like that, considering this peculiar species takes a lot to flourish, years even.
Gracefully, you wave your fingers in midair, whispering an incantation to help speed up the process of growing. Cordelia is just behind you, in utter trance, she doesn't dare to spill a word as you do your magic. Her eyes glimmer with admiration as you proceed to tell her the story of the tree. Words spill out freely and passionately, considering you spent years at the Academy of Unseen Arts to learn everything you could regarding herbalism.
"It's an ancient tradition to leave a leaf to dry for a day and then place it under your tongue until it dissolves. The Greeks believed it was synonymous of fortune and victory," your mouth curves into a smile as you take in Cordelia's astonishment.
"Have you tried it?", she asks with genuine interest.
You crinkle your nose at that, "I never dared to," you chuckle, meeting Cordelia's confused gaze, "They say its bitterness isn't for everybody," you explain.
She hums in understanding, "what other use does it have?"
"I'm so very glad you asked," you grin, mischievously, "It's an essential ingredient for potions that have to do with another marvelous subject, that I'm sure your students would love by the way," you point out.
"Mythology?", her attempt at guessing is cute, you can't deny that.
The tip of your tongue shows up in the next smile you give her, "Conjuring of pagan gods," you say it as if it was like mentioning a trifle.
She hums amusedly, "I adore you, I really do, but that's a no go," you frown at that, your bottom lip wobbles a bit. Cordelia chuckles softly, "You're too cute for your own good," she teases, slightly shaking her head and poking your chest. "Yet your sense of responsibility is stronger than my charm," at your teasing, her cheeks turn a darker shade of pink.
"The girls once summoned the Axeman using a Ouija board and, to keep it short, he almost got us all killed."
Your mouth falls agape, "Oh shit, I'm sorry," you breathe out, "I had no idea."
She dismisses it with a small smile, as if it now became a silly story to laugh about. "I don't want you to think I don't trust you because I do. This Coven's just been through a lot, so I've learned you're never too careful," she explains, and you reach out your hand to grasp hers. She smiles at the gesture, her eyes lock in your now intertwined fingers, "I'm trying my best to not make the same mistakes of my mother."
"You're nothing like her," you say, beyond any doubt.
"Thanks, petal," that pet name sends you a tingle in your stomach.
You smile and give her a nod of your head, before refocusing on the bay tree on the table, already missing her hand in yours.
"It looks like a lollipop, doesn't it?", you chirp.
The Supreme hums in thought, as she examines the plant more closely, "Well, now that you point it out, I see it," she giggles, leaning against the table with her elbows.
You reach for the water can to dampen the soul around the tree's roots. Her eyes drop to your hands, and you put all your efforts to stabilize your tremor, but it doesn't work out as much as you'd like to. The water can shakes visibly and you mentally curse yourself, sure that Cordelia's noticed that too. You clear your throat, trying to switch her focus on your voice rather than your actions, so you start telling her more about the bay tree's needs and care. But Cordelia isn't stupid. She sees what you're doing when along with the uncertainty of your hands comes a sudden stuttering of your voice.
"Sweetheart, hey," she coos softly, eyebrows knitted in a frown, "What's wrong?"
You almost shudder, when her fingers move a strand of hair from your face, behind your ear, "Nothing, I—“, your lashes flutter close for a moment. While your mouth troubles you with mixed feelings about her, your tremor intensifies, making it impossible for you to hide. Your own legs feel like jelly, and you wish there was a chair behind you to sit down. "Let me just," you need to get out of that situation, so you turn around, pretending you're in need for a trowel, but you move too abruptly.
"Shit," your curse under your breath, having dropped the watering can on the floor, sending splash of water on both yours and Cordelia's legs. You bow down so abruptly that a wave of dizziness washes over you keeping you there, unable to get on your feet by yourself. Concern etches across the Supreme's features, "Celeste," she kneels down right next to you, "You need to tell me what's going on, please."
You shake your head wearily, "I'm fine," you insist, trying to stand up, but your wobbly knees don't let you. With a wave of her hand, Cordelia dries both the floor and your clothes, "You're not fine," she counters softly. Your face is rather quickly losing its natural color, but you can't see it. However, she does.
"Sweetheart, you can be honest with me," she wants to read your mind, grasp that information herself, but she can't. It wouldn't feel right.
"There's nothing to say, I felt a wave of dizziness, that's all," avoiding meeting her gaze, you look at the time on your wrist, noticing it's time to go to class.
"How about we ask Coco to cover for you? Just for this time?"
You make a face, "With all due respect, Coco isn't exactly specialized in ancient tongues," you point out, earning an eye roll from the Supreme, "Fair point," you give her a - glad we both agree - look, before heading out the greenhouse, or trying to. Cordelia walks right beside you, with no intention to drop the topic.
"Celeste, you're not listening to me," she pleads, concern vailing her voice, "Zelda, she said—“
You freeze on the spot, then turn around, "Zelda? Wait, so, you talked to her?", you narrow your eyes, in disbelief.
"She called me this morning, yes," she admits with a nod, "She was worried about you and now I see why."
Cordelia had promised not to say a word about it, but she couldn't help it considering you're being both stubborn and unreasonable, as always trying to hide how you truly felt around them. It was a mystery to both witches why you acted the way you did. You gave them mixed signals, because on one side, you were always so eager to spend time together, but you also shut them out every time something was bothering you.
"So you studied me, to see if she had a point."
Cordelia groans and rolls her eyes, being used to your passive aggressive behavior whenever you feel like you've been tricked, "Why is it so hard for you to understand that we care for you?"
If only you could see the truth, you'd know what both Zelda and Cordelia truly felt for you. It was more than a mere fondness, more than a pathetic interest, a fleeting crush or whatever. Both witches were in love with you, but they just didn't know how to tell you, without risking upsetting you, or worse, losing you.
"Why did you transmute here this morning, despite feeling unwell?"
You stay quiet, nibbling on your bottom lip as a wave of nervousness washes over you. How could you tell her the real reason why you kept going back and forth despite the exhaustion that has taken over you.
"I wouldn't have been mad if you asked for a couple of days off, you know," she coos softly.
Her heart breaks when she spots tears prick at the corner of your eyes. Your eyes well up with tears, because you feel like shit, both physically and emotionally and it pisses you off.
"I-I..", your own voice betrays you. Suddenly your blinking intensifies, as long as your heartbeat. It quickly escalates as your feet and hands turn cold and clammy. Cordelia's eyes snap wide open as she calls your name a couple of times, her voice sounds like a far echo to your ringing ears. You know what's coming, and it absolutely enrages you.
"'m s-sorry," before you know it, everything turns pitch black.

Tumblr media
“Ambrose.” – you called out as he was blocking your way in the small row between shelves. He chuckled leaning with his arm on top of the shelves. – “I’m just standing here.” – he answered smiley. – “Yes in my way.” – you laughed out picking a book from the few books you were carrying. With a small novel you hit Ambrose against his shoulder. It startled him making him flinch. – “You know how much your aunt hates you slouching against her books.” – you said teasingly. Ambrose smiled sheepishly, rubbing his arm as you moved past him. You went to the next row to set the books you were carrying away. Noticing Ambrose had followed you. – “Shouldn’t you be at home helping your aunt Zelda?” – you questioned.
Ambrose pulled his shoulders up. – “Maybe?” – he replied mischievous. – “Wait till your aunt Hilda sees you here.” – you joked out. – “Alright, alright you sure can pester one way.” – Ambrose answered bothered as it made you laugh loud. – “Now go.” – you said slapping another book playfully at him. Ambrose moved his hands up, backing out of the row. – “Go.” – you mouthed laughable to him, seeing him linger. Looking over your shoulder you looked to see if Hilda was coming out of the back door or not. Ambrose exited with a grand gesture making you laugh loud. You kept laughing till you heard Hilda’s footsteps. She had come out of the back area carrying a box.
“Was.. was that Ambrose?” – she questioned seeing the last of a shim disappear into the night. – “Sure not, Ambrose is at home as he is supposed to.” – you told her with a cheeky smile. Aunt Hilda quirked her eyebrow up but was gullible enough to believe you. – “I’m just going to set this box away and we can start locking up for tonight.” – Hilda spoke showing the box your way. You hummed loud in response. Hilda left as you continued to stock the few remaining books away in your hand. On top of a shelf laid pumpkin lights as you smiled upon them. You blinked confused seeing a pumpkin light flicker. It was so briefly you weren’t sure if it was a trick of the eye or true. The lights appearing normal now. Leaning in closer you stared at the pumpkin light.
From the corner of your eye, you saw another pumpkin light flicker. Turning your head you saw it flicker clear as day. More lights started to flicker making you be stunned at bit, not knowing what to do. Then the flickering stopped, all the lights turned off from itself. Curious and confused you leaned closer once more, pointing your finger out to tap the light. The moment your finger touched the light you saw a scarier face appear on the light. It had scared you so much you dropped the book in your hand, jumping back against the bookcase behind you.
“Everything alright Y/n?” – Hilda asked lifting her head up from across the shop near the window. Looking back at the lights, they were normal again. – “Yes… everything is alright.” – you answered to pick up the fallen book. You quickly put it away. Meeting up with Hilda, you said your goodbye’s. – “See you tomorrow Y/n.” – she spoke giving you a hug. – “Happy spooky season.” – you called back to her, waving your goodbyes, knowing how much Hilda loved the spooky season of October. Only a few days till it would Halloween.
A cold breeze would creep up on you once you were outside. Leaves dancing in circles on the ground carried by the wind’s orchestra. Looking up to the night sky you saw a crescent moon. You started walking home in the dark of night. The trees rustling as a breeze swept underneath your coat sending your scarf up. It caught you off guard making you turn a bit around as if someone had touched you without permission. Your eyes went slowly up seeing a figure stand at the end of the street. Lighted up by a streetlight. It came you the chills. A loud scream carried away by the wind made you cover up your ears and duck down. Looking back up the shadow was gone. Panting and frightened you turned around only to be met up with the shadow.
You screamed your lungs out, swaying your arms around and take a run for it. You started running for your life, wondering if you had seen too many scary movies last night with Sabrina, Theo, Harvie and Rosie. That must be it. Your mind was still thinking about the scary movies you had seen. A dog barked loud making you jump away, picking up more speed to hurry up home. Out of breath you reached your house, hurrying to get the keys. Panicking his much you dropped them.
Scrambling to get them, your hand shook as you tried to stick the key in the keyhole. With one last scream of feeling rushed, you opened the door jumping inside. Without looking back, you shut the door behind you. Locking it immediately. Switching on the lights you felt more at ease. You jumped out of your skin seeing three girls in your living room. One of them sitting down, the other two sitting each on a side. – “Well hello mortal.” – the one in the middle purred out while checking out her nails.
“Who are you?” – you asked loudly. – “What are you doing in my house!” – The girl that sat clicked her tongue swaying her finger to the side. – “We’re but friends mortal.” – she slowly got up. – “Shall we play a game?” – she asked not expecting an answer from you. – “This one is called.” – the redhead on her left said. – “Hide and scream.” – the black-haired girl on her right filled in. With the snap of a finger went the power off. You squealed loud at the sudden darkness. – “Now run!” – A loud whisper filled your ears coming from behind. Lightning stuck all of the sudden, lighting up the room. You screamed loud seeing that the girl’s faces had become horrifying. Almost demonic. You started running for your life up the stairs. Hearing their loud giggling and cackling surround you.
You ran into your bedroom, shutting the door behind you. – “Oh mortal let us in.” – one of them spoke, knocking gently on your door. Covering your mouth to silence your breathing, you backed away. – “We only want to play.” – one of the other spoke. You backed up against your bed as it startled you. A sudden grip around your ankle made your eyes widen. Before you could utter a scream you got pulled at your ankle.
Falling flat forwards, your face smacking hard against the ground. Looking over your shoulder you saw a boy hide underneath your bed. His face half caught by a shadow. His wicked smile reflecting against the darkness. You screamed it out, kicking your feet at him. What is going on? You thought. Rushing up to your feet, you wanted to run for your door, remembering in the last second that those three girls were just outside.
The boy came crawling from under your bed. Your eyes stood wide with fright, pressed against the door. He started to rise his hands as fire light up from your flooring. Forming a circle around you. You screamed it out as he could only laugh. What kind of witchcraft was this? Your head was spinning trying to process the magic just happening in your room while trying to deal with the fear. – “Leave me alone!” – you called out to him. He pouted his lips. – “But we were just making fun.” – he slashed his hand down as it made your head turn with a gasp. Feeling a sting on your cheek.
With trembling hands you went to touch it. Fingers stained with blood when you looked at them. He had left a cut on your cheek. – “You’re the devil!” – you called out. – “Oh honey I assure you I’m not. I am merely a child of night.” – he answered with a grin. Not wanting stay here with him, you jumped over the fires to the back of your room. – “Oh we got a runner.” – The boy called out swiping his hand across. A force picking you up as you got flung out of the window. Glass shattering as you crashed through it. You fell onto the lower roof part of your porch, rolling over it to drop to the ground, landing in a bush.
Groaning loud you got up seeing the cuts all over your arms and legs. You got up, running for your life. Limping at bit from the fall as you didn’t want to be home alone anymore. The boy was watching you run from up your room. The three girls coming to stand beside him. – “Great you’ve chased her away.” – Dorcas said slapping his arm. Agatha sighed loud. – “Ambrose would be furious if he finds out we scared his little mortal friend.” – she spoke making Prudence roll her eyes.
“I do not care one bit for that Spellman. He should know better than to mingle with lame mortals.” – Prudence chuckled deep. – “Shame I couldn’t make her bleed more.” – the boy said with a shrug of his shoulder. Dorcas and Agatha quirking their eyebrow at him. – “We don’t want her dead you moron! We just want her scared.” – Dorcas called out. The boy rolled with his eyes not caring much.
“Ambrose!” – you shouted loud. Huffing and puffing out of breath as you reached the Spellman’s house. – “Ambrose!” – you shouted again running up the porch. – “Ambrose! Ambrose please open up!” – you panicked banging loudly at their door. The door opened as you exhaled deep pushing yourself inside, not wanting to be one minute longer in the dark. – “Y/n what are you doing here?” – Sabrina asked as she had opened the door. – “I…I…” – you tried to speak. – “What happened?” – Sabrina wanted to know as Ambrose came down the stairs. – “Y/n?” – he said widening his eyes at the cuts on your body.
“What happened!” – Ambrose demanded to know, rushing up to you. – “I…I…I fell out of my window.” – you told him still catching your breath. – “What?” – Sabrina called out. Ambrose stared confused and slightly worried at you. Sabrina pulled her shoulders up as she had no clue as well. – “Come.” – Ambrose said wrapping his arm around you to lead you upstairs. Sabrina closed the door giving her cousin one last worried glance. Upstairs seated Ambrose you down on his bed. – “Now Y/n tell me what happened. How did you get these cuts?” – he spoke worriedly.
You looked frightened at him. – “There were these girls in my house.” – you told him. – “Girls?” – Ambrose repeated confused. – “Three of them. Demanding to play a game with me. All the lights went out!” – you panicked explaining your story to him. – “Then upstairs in my room was a boy, hiding under my bed. Fire! Ambrose there was fire!” – you grasped for his hand, startling him with your sudden loud voice. – “Fire?” – he questioned. – “Yes. Poof fire.” – you gestured out. – “It was like he created it out of thin air.” – you said as Ambrose’s eyes widened. – “He gave me this cut without touching me.” – you showed your cheek to Ambrose to show him.
“When I wanted to run I got thrown out of the window by a force. Leading to my appearance.” – Exhaling deep you felt yourself slowly come at ease. – “Darn witches.” – Ambrose mumbled under his breath. – “Huh?” – you said hearing a whiff of his words. Ambrose chuckled nervously. – “Have I gone crazy, or did they do magic?” – you asked to be certain you weren’t losing your mind. Ambrose slightly nodded, not wanting you to feel insane. He carefully watched your reaction trying to see if it was perhaps a good idea to tell you he was a witch as well. – “Okay…” – you replied neutral not sure how to react to it.
“Why… why would they taunt me? Is it because it is almost Halloween?” – you slapped Ambrose his hand out of pure over-reaction. Ambrose shook his head. – “It is because you are with me.” – he told you making you furrow your brows. – “Why would they do that?” – you wanted to know. Ambrose took a deep breath pulling you closer to him by your shoulders. – “Y/n I’m going to tell you something and I hope this doesn’t change anything… or at least maybe a bit.” -  he started.
“Ambrose you are scaring me a bit.” – you answered. – “Don’t be.” – he made sure. He took another deep breath before speaking. – “I am like them. I am also a witch, so is Sarbina and my aunties.” – your mouth fell open with shock. – “But I assure you we mean you no harm Y/n. We aren’t all bad, besides we adore you. Specially me… I…I…like…no love you Y/n. That… that is why the weird sisters, and that boy tormented you. It is because they can see I care for you, and I am so sorry for that.” – he finished.
You slowly smiled kissing Ambrose by surprise. Ambrose pulled startled away. – “I’m not scared anymore, knowing you won’t let anything happen to me.” – you told him. Ambrose nodded still trying to process the surprise kiss. – “Also I like…no love you too Ambrose. I just didn’t think you saw me in that way.” – Ambrose laughed loud, grabbing a hold of you to kiss you. This time longer and deeper. – “I promise you no harm will ever come to you.”
