i'm re-covering a guitar amp with forest green leathercloth, maybe i'll post a picture of it. been going well so far despite my deliberately using only the shoddy materials i have easily on hand. it's a small peavey practice amp that i bought when i was 14 or so when town was full of pawn/cash4gold shops. don't think there are actually any around currently. sort of an economic downturn type business.

Negative agere community thing do not read if youre not in the mood

Saw something that really bummed me the other day. Someone put on a blocklist for talking about their disorder while being in the agere tags. It just isnt fair. Most of us are here because of trauma but we can't talk about it? Or even the way people are on there for all these loose connections. This is a side blog, I can only follow from my main but my main isnt totally child safe and aren't most of us expected to be physically adults anyways? And I made that blog when I was a child, I've had it half of my entire life. Will I end up on a blocklist because I have and have had a life outside of being an age regressor? Is the only way to be 'pure' to be paranoid and only follow childsafe blogs and only like childsafe posts I mean when does it end? Blocklists like that should only be for bots or exceptionally rude/harassing people.

And these communities are supposed to be separate which ok but what if some of the people on this blocklist simply belong to both? Why is that not ok? The word 'contamination' comes to mind. People dont say it but thats what they mean that certain users are contaminated. People should not be held responsible for the actions of other people just because they like their post. And why shouldn't we if those posts are themselves totally childsafe? What if this sfw post has appeal for both communities? This obsession with purity is already causing harm and I don't think the answer is to just not have any boundaries but to recognize irrational fear of contamination for what it is. It's making me scared.
