Okay. So. We are putting this here so that it's here without us necessarily answering the ask it's for before it's fully cooked.

The answer to your question will vary with the way that they come off. Clothes as a TF trigger can be REALLY fun, but we're exceptionally picky with it, and the outfit you've provided might be a bit fussy to work with for any TF that isn't either extremely minor in body shape or extremely disruptive on the clothes - and with this sort of padded body armor, a lot of what we'd be concerned about would be either an end form that's tough enough to shred its way out, or one that's small enough that it can't run into issues like accidentally cutting off blood flow to limbs with an outfit that suddenly fits Wrong.

We really like fucking around with clothes in combination with TF type stuff, especially with how one's body changing has potential to fuck up the fit of clothes or significantly alter them. How your clothes fit your body and what they might be designed to do is a major worldbuilding element that we often REALLY enjoy tinkering with, and with the potential of garments to hide or to negatively impact changes, we think it's REALLY - armor fitted to your body has the potential to seriously fuck up any sort of major bodily change, especially, since the appeal of it is that it's fitted to form a shell that can't be breached and that steel will keep anything inside getting out just as much as it'll keep anything outside from getting in.

Unfortunately, we are also a Fool, and we've recently read Dungeon Meshi, and our absentminded "hey wouldn't it be cool if-" thoughts have now evolved into Actual Plot Bunnies, which are now wrecking our brain because we thought about the potential impact that a TF might have on clothes and the practicalities thereof slightly too hard. So now we have to stop and write down a mockup plot for a potential AU simply because we are Like That. We will get back to you.
