☆ did 2 spanish 🇪🇸 lessons on wlingua!

today's been an okay-ish day, i'm content with how it's progressed. i'll try to wake up a little early to get more work done! (and update you guys)

couldn't do much over the weekend – but me and my friend hung out after our test on sat and it was so, so, so fun!! also watched gladiator ii in cinemas yesterday – it was really good! great stress-buster :) i hope that my week goes well given i feel much better mentally!!

i don’t know what it is lately, but i have been very demotivated and i haven’t been really hitting my goals and to-dos. any ideas on how to solve this?

~starting study at 7 am and after 3 hr of class and 2 hrs of sleep now It's 5Am. In this period i have competed;

Chemistry: Completed revision of Structure of Atom, 8 questions of NCERT of the same

Maths: 30 marks test (expecting over 25), 40 questions of RD Sharma (Complex Numbers) and 38 MCQs of Complex Numbers PYQs

Physics: 22 questions of NCERT and 26 questions of HC Verma (Motion in Straight Line)

IP: Revised Computer Systems, Fundamentals of Python and Applications of Python for exam tommorow

She nibbled on the tip of her pen's cap, her brows scrunched as she looked at the question in front of her,

"Well Sn1 reactions form a stable carbocation so, I believe it's option C due to minus inductive effect of phenyl group," she spoke, stretching the worksheet towards the black haired guy who silently sipped on his coffee.

"Thankyou," he whispered with a gentle smile, "I almost thought that my own tutor wasn't aware of the answer." He jested, kicking her leg under the table as she groaned in annoyance.

"I'm not a PhD in chemistry! I'm still just a student."

"I know that, you don't have to explain it," he spoke up, marking the option correct and moving forward to next question.

"Annoying," the girl muttered under her breath as she tried to focus on her physics homework, not noticing the hurt expression the guy passed to her.

He tried to focus on his work, but he just couldn't,

'Am i really that annoying?'

He wondered as he started sulking, yet trying to finish his work, his gaze focused on the girl in front of him for a moment as he clicked his tounge,

'She was the one who wanted that extra credit and agreed to teach me after teacher asked her to, I didn't ask her about it exclusively.'

Soonyoung thought as he started doing his work again, thinking that the girl just had a bad day.

y/n on the other side wasn't able to ignore his sad stares, and the way his face had dulled after she had called him annoying, she didn't want to be rude but she didn't like being interrupted while she was studying, hence she chose a library to study instead of a cafe.

She bit her lips as her hand dug into her bag and she pulled out a bar of chocolate, breaking it into half she pressed one of the halves towards Soonyoung, who looked at her with crossed eyebrows.

"You want to share food?" He asked, suspicion visible in his eyes.

"I am sorry," she muttered as she looked away from him, embarrassed to even look at him in the eye.

"At least try to seem apologetic," he rolled his eyes, accepting the chocolate nonetheless.

"I am apologetic!"

"You're apologizing because i looked sulky, not because you regretted your actions." He spoke up again, tease lacing his voice.

"No! But, you do accept that you were sulking on that comment."

"Why wouldn't I?" He asked, genuinely curious.

"Well, who am I to judge if you're annoying?" y/n answered truthfully, she had always thought that he was a cheerful and confident guy, who didn't give any second thoughts towards someone else's opinions.

"I do love myself, but statements from friends can hurt sometimes," Soonyoung spoke flatly, taking a bite out of his chocolate; "More so, when the friend genuinely means it."

"I never meant it," y/n said, visibly confused and shocked, "I am sorry, i didn't think that you could take it to heart." She said, averting her eyes as Soonyoung looked at her with a small smile.

"It's alright y/n, it doesn't matter," he said, passing on half of his cheesecake to her, "Don't be like that, i don't like it when you're guilty or sad."

"Someone's whipped," she lifted her head, a grin visible on her face as Soonyoung rolled his eyes and pulled the cake towards himself.

"You just lost the privilege of that," he muttered as y/n laughed lighty.

"It's alright, i know you love cheesecakes."

Soonyoung's eyebrow quirked up as she focused on her work again;

"You know that i like cheesecake?"

"You order it almost everytime," she replied back, ticking one of the mcqs.

"Do you know my coffee order though?"

"Iced Americano with vanilla pump?"

"Wow, you're observant," Soonyoung exclaimed as he sipped on his drink.

"I know right, it's hard being me," she whispered.

Taking that as a clue to focus on his own work, Soonyoung stopped trying to initiate any type of conversation with her, even if he was itching to do so, he didn't want to waste any more of her time; being a top student consistently seemed like a hard job in itself. But, he couldn't help and steal glances of her, the way her hairs cascaded down and framed her face, the way her eyes would squint slightly as she tried to figure a question out, Soonyoung didn't miss any of it.

It wasn't until half an hour had passed that she spoke, "Soonyoung?"

"Yeah?"

"You aren't a particularly dumb student, i mean you're quiet capable, why did you require tutoring?" She asked, a light pink dusting her cheeks which didn't go unnoticed by the boy.

"Well, i have just been busy in my extra curriculars, that's all... The teacher herself didn't want my grades to perish because of that, so she advised me to find a tutor," he replied, smiling at the fact that she seemed interested in knowing him.

Her mouth turned into an O shape as she nodded meekly, looking away from the boy and fidgeting with her pen.

Soonyoung wanted to joke and tease her about her nervousness but he thought against it, it was entertaining to see a usually confident and straightforward person be nervous even for a short while.

"Let's do it at a cafe, next time," y/n spoke, her eyes finding their way back to his.

For someone who seemed nervous, she was pretty blunt with her request, although that request really wasn't something to be shy about?

"Sure, do you want to try out new environment?" Soonyoung asked.

This time y/n groaned, her eyes held embarrassment as she spoke, "Even though i would love to admit that it was the change of environment which i needed, i would be lying, it's just that study dates are more common in cafes."

Soonyoung's eyes widened as he looked at her with stark pleasant surprise, "Date?" He asked.

"Aren't you too annoying? You have the audacity to look like that and make my heart jump beats, please, i know it's not really professional of me but, i did— I... I was—"

Soonyoung gently held her hand as he caressed her knuckled with his thumb, a small grin highlighted on his face as he urged her to continue.

"You're just so annoying cute that i want to cry whenever i see you," she finished with a sigh, burying her face in her hands as she refused to meet his eyes.

"I never thought you found me cute—"

"Oh yeah? And now you're a fucking tease—"

"Since when were things 'professional' between us? You just choose to ignore all my advances, whether they may be for building friendship or flirting," he whined, pouting slightly.

"Oh so i wasn't dreaming?"

"You're fucking beautiful, do you know that?"

"Does that mean you like me?"

"I feel as if you're the dumb one here," Soonyoung muttered as he leaned forward, "Can i kiss you?"

She smiled with a small 'yes' as he gently pecked her lips for some split seconds, remembering that they are "studying" in a public place.

"Why you little shit tease—"

"Ahem ahem."

A cough resonated around their table as the receptionist of the library looked at them with disappointment in their eyes,

"I thought, you kids were studying all these weeks but it were just study dates."

"No! We really—"

"Keep it down," the receptionist mouthed as a slight smile tinted their face, they turned around and gently whispered,

"I will let you off the hook today, but next time, don't come into library for pda."

y/n heaved a sigh of releif as she gazed at soonyoung again, who stared at her with a foolish smile,

"You know, my stagename is Hoshi."

"Hoshi?"

Soonyoung stood up and closed his and y/n's books, helping her arrange her back he whispered in her ear,

"On our next date, i will tell you just how beautiful i find you to be and anything you want to know about me."

"Anything?" She asked.

"Anything," he replied as he kissed her cheek.

Yessss! I came to the end of my productivity streak, (although tbh I didn’t finish anything significant). I am super happy. The last few days was plagued by tests and stuff so I update is late. Schools will be starting from 3rd if this month!! :)) Hope my new school is nice.

overall, didn't do too much today sadly. but i plan on waking up after a nap, so i'll update this post soon hopefully. i still need to strengthen my physics portion for the upcoming test, so i'll focus on that.
