hi. figured i'd update you guys on a lil something. firstly, yes. i did not get them all done rip. however, i did get a bunch of pyqs sorted out instead for chemistry. secondly, we're 30 days away from what might just be the biggest spectacle of my life this year so with that, i think the time's come to leave social media behind & grind it out. one last final time - because if not now, when? i'm exhausted, my motivation's down the drain - there's nothing i want to do more than to just binge youtube and watch edits i'm shamelessly addicted to this callum turner edit lmfao but i know that it's just 30 more days, and i'm stronger than my distractions so :') it's been a good run, a great one even. i'd like to thank all the people who i've gotten to interact with, and to think that i've found a community on here, and met so many like-minded mutuals was one hell of an experience! i hope the next time i make a post here, i come bearing good news. to-do list! 31/03 -> 02/04 🏁

heyy chat, we're back with the to-dos! :) march's been rather unfruitful in the sense that i feel like i haven't accomplished much, albeit my entrance examination being a little over a month left. so i'll likely make this a daily thing, till atleast mid-april. i'm honestly bummed about it, but not that i can do much rn but to study and makeup for it even though i don't want to so here we go! <3

get done w/ a 7hr lec for xi phy pyqs. (i'm at 6hr45mins rn)

finish a 6:15hr lec on xii physics pyqs.

finish mugging up: (i) morphology of flowering plants (ii) anatomy of flowering plants (iii) plant kingdom

revise the following: (i) ducts/tubules from excretion. (ii) brain (specifically the forebrain) (iii) formed elements from circulatory sys. (iv) read through the 'sliding filament theory' for muscle. (v) appendicular skeleton. (vi) hormone-receptor complex + function of glucocorticoids (vii) animal kingdom this is ambitious, i'm not betting on this getting done but whatever (viii) mechanism of dna replication, translation and transcription + split-gene arrangement (specifically the functions of each rna polymerase)

note down the mistakes from each of the tests i've taken so far.

start experimental skills in physics ~1hr i completely forgot about this lmao

perhaps revise eqm + thermo. PERHAPS.

go through batteries.

go through the reagent chart for org. chem.

try to go through a full syllabus test (maybe?)

...sounds insane, but hey! i already am, so what's a little more? jokes aside, i really hope to get through atleast 80% of the aforementioned things, because i'm gonna be starting full syllabus tests next week, and i desperately need a 600+ if i want to have any chance of remotely getting a good uni so :') edit: things came up on the weekend :(

update [06:45am]: woke up at 4, got done w physics more or less? had to skip some qs cs they were hella tricky and i'm not gonna try to understand new material 3hrs before the exam. (📍need to go over 'those' qs today/tmrw)

post-game review: frankly speaking, the test went ok..? zoology was, well shit. physics went great! botany could've gone better, and chemistry was meh.

okay, moving on! we have a test (again) on the 13th, which is..day after tmrw? so, not a lot of time left. unfortunately, i did end up wasting away much of today so not happy about that :( but it's okay, we have over 1½ days, so hopefully that should suffice?

revise formulae & concepts of: (i) newton's laws of motion (ii) work, power & energy (iii) rotational mechanics [✶✶✶]

read/solve: (i) modules. (ii) 34 pyqs. (iii) know your ncert. ❌ (iv) go through the NPS paper solved in class.

revise: (i) haloalkanes, haloarenes (ii) alcohol, phenol & ethers (iii) aldehydes, ketones & carboxylic acids.

read/solve: (i) 34 pyqs. [finished first 2 chaps, left with 1/2 of aldehydes, ketones & carboxylic acids] (ii) know your ncert. ❌ (iii) read NCERT o-chem. [x1] (iv) module. [left w aldehydes, ketones & carboxylic acids]

mug up: (i) animal tissues (ii) cockroach (iii) frog

revise: (i) microbes in human welfare (ii) organisms & population (iii) biomolecules.

read/solve: (i) NCERT for above mentioned chaps. [need to go over sewage treatment again, though] (ii) know your ncert. ❌ (iii) 34 pyqs.

essentially a 'ctrl c + ctrl v' moment in terms of approach, but hey! if it works, it works. i'll be updating the list as i go on. i'll try (emphasis on try) to get all of this done by midnight tmrw? i really don't wanna pull a near-all nighter again, cause it causes me to be really groggy and i'll just end up wasting post-exam evenings (like today, rip) anyways, that's all. i'll see you guys later. goodnight! 💌<3

update [01:38am]: i think i heavily underestimated how content heavy this exam's syllabus is? i wish i could carry on, but i've been doing qs since 4pm and safe to say, i feel exhausted and my mind's short-circuiting. i also do not think i'll able to do know your ncert's for any subjects, so i'm scrapping them off the list. i'll take a nap, and sit down with physics since i haven't really gone over the qs and i'm worried. anyways, that's all! night <3
