Genuinely, genuinely, shut the fuck up about trans unity; you people literally only ever bring that up when trans women even remotely imply that they get harassed (sexually/in general) by trans men in any way at all! God forbid we point out that men act like damn men and not soft, pathetic little babies who are incapable of harming someone even accidentally! There is no trans unity until you take us seriously, especially black and other POC transfems who receive the absolute worst of this! They always seem to disappear from these discussions, though; "Oh no, it's those white transfems dividing the community!" Sure, yeah.

Implying that we're "dividing the community" because we have genuine grievances is not only dismissive to the extreme but also paints trans women as the aggressors in every situation. You deciding that us speaking out about our issues is ~terminally online~ is fucking outrageous, considering the lengths you go to treating trans women like men with different pronouns or some third gender.

I refuse to deny that a man can harm a woman or that you are experiencing some unique form of intersectional oppression like "misandry" or "transandrophobia." Trans men/transmascs have genuine issues! They really, really do! Anyone who denies that trans men face oppression is wrong, plain and simple! But that's transphobia! You are not oppressed by trans women and the fact that you can witchhunt a random trans woman every month for alleged pedophilia or racism or "transphobia"(?) or "baeddalism" or any other number of alleged crimes and that people will follow along without even questioning any of that is fucking telling.

You are not my family. I am not a member of your community. I'm allowed to sit quietly in the back of your community and take no grievances with sexual harassment, misgendering, and general transmisogyny. The second I do, the second I become loud about isolation or exclusion or harassment or sexism, I am painted as a monster.

I'd love to be part of the community. It's a shame, then, that I'm not welcome in it.

So i have no running water right now.

Because of the winter storm, yeah, but not how you'd think.

After having to replace all the plumbing under my house AND my kitchen faucet two years in a row, guy I'm buying my house from installed a shut off valve I could turn myself so I could shut off my water and clear the pipes before temps dropped, and hopefully none of the below freezing temps damage the pipes themselves.

And it worked! Except one of the joints has come disjointed. Idk why. Guess it wasn't glued right before? *tired sigh*

Told guy I'm buying the house from yesterday. His reply was, 'ok'. So no idea when that'll be fixed.

I assumed I'd be able to TURN IT BACK ON, so I have no clean pots and pans rn. -__-;;;

And a minimum of things i can cook without them. *facepalm*

I do have tinfoil and an oven tho, so i will make due.

Y'all I developed an entire character sheet and brief character build guide just for a fanfic I'm writing for one (1) person and now I'm baking brownies and planning something else afterward too because I couldn't sleep and I have DnD in a few hours.

When my mother died I took up a bunch of relaxing, 'push color around on paper' sorta little art projects with watercolor!

Eventually I started sending out twice yearly mail to folks from various discords/twitter of like... actual drawings of stuff.

Anyways due to a bunch of environmental stressors I kinda switched entirely to digital or markers. And have now completely forgotten how to watercolor...

to the point my 'just push some color around' projects I'm like how did I do that????

man I don't mean to be a bitch, and people can write what they want, but when I ship characters who have tension between them, resentment/bitterness or rough history or even just giving each other a hard time, that's part of the ship for me and it sucks when people make that go away as soon as they get together. like, cozy domesticity years later with vague reference to old issues fading is one thing, but when McCoy stops sniping at Spock or whatever the moment they kiss and suddenly they're calling each other pet names and being super saccharine... my first thought is always, why did you ruin it?

(this also applies to, and given some of my ships overlaps with, reconciliation stories, which are real common in Genshin because a couple fan-favorites have tensions around past incidents/arguments. whether platonic or romantic, the dynamic doesn't change instantly when one character says "I love you and I'm sorry"--it changes slowly over time as they (both, ideally) demonstrate that, and work out who they are in the aftermath, and that's the only way in which taking that tension out is interesting to me. if it's a shortcut to healthy well-adjusted schmoopy kisses and/or snuggles then you have once again Ruined It for me)
