i am passionate about arguing against "vegan" leather (WHICH IS PLASTIC) however i calmly accept that this is very annoying to most people. considering the number of notes that first poll situation got i suspect many, many other people are also annoying about the subject.

The 2025 Fan Crafts Bazaar is now open!

We don't allow physical fanworks in the main auction for a variety of reasons, so to accommodate these we started the FTH Fan Crafts Bazaar.

This year the Bazaar is a record size, with 28 crafters offering a wide variety of crafts in dozens of fandoms (and plenty who will create for any fandom you like).

Every crafter has set up their own stall with their own policies - some are offering custom-made creations while some are ready to ship; some are holding their own auctions while some items have a set price. So be sure to read the details carefully!

The Bazaar will stay open until March 10, so if you don't win the auctions you have your eye on in the main event, head back over there to find other places to direct your donations toward! (But some may be ending their auctions earlier than the 10th, while others may run out of ready-made stock before then, so check those details.)

We'll also continue to add stalls as they come in over the next couple of days, so be sure to check again in a few days to see what's been added - and if you're a crafter who hasn't had a chance to sign up, you still can!

The thing with amateur local theater is it is almost always bad BUT keeping it alive is the most important thing

foreshadowing done well makes me go feral like there’s NOTHING better than getting to the end a book or an important storyline moment and realising that the author laced information so intricately into their writing that weren’t noticeable upon first read but when you read back sections they’re light giant red flags like wow writing is amazing

when my brother and i played ocarina of time for the first time circa 1998 we were both basically illiterate children. I was 3 so I couldn't really read at all, my brother was 8 and was kind enough to struggle to read the game text for me so I could follow along

the entire time we kept calling ganondorf "gandorf", not sure why, my brother had plenty of opportunities to correct his initial mistake,

anyway, once we beat the game, we immediately restarted it to play again, on the second playthough my brother kind of just goes "oh, his name is ganondorf."

imagine being 3 and experiencing a world altering piece of media, then when you go back to it you find out a critical part of it was just completely butchered by your stupid older brother, anyway sometimes i still slip up and call him gandorf
