#okay so #i have a spotify issue #if anyone could help that would be appreciated #my spotify web player stopped working #it keeps skipping songs saying that “this song can't be played right now” or something similar #then starts playing a song but the sound stops after 10 seconds #i tried it both on pc and laptop and none of them works #i checked the “spotify cares” account on twitter to see if others have similar problems but none of spotify's solutions seem to work for me #i was thinking if maybe it's the os since i have win 7 on pc and win 8 on laptop and i know the pc app is not supported on these #but I don't think it applies to the web player #i cleaned the cache restarted the device logged out then logged in tried in incognito disabled plug-ins #none of these work #the mobile app does work but i mainly use the web player #it's been nearly a month pls i need my music 😭#reddit also doesn't have any solutions that work #i mean i basically just said that nothing works so i probably won't get any answers here either lmao #but does this happen to anyone else?#personal

So the other day I found a song to add to my Retail Purgatory fic playlist & noticed that there's actually two versions of the song, but I didn't have time to decide which to go with right then, so I put a pin in it to come back to.

Well, I just went to listen to them both, & turns out, not only does the second version feature another band guesting on it, it actually has a different second verse.

& the difference between those two second verses pulls the tone/lyrics/imagery in just enough of different directions to make one perfect for RPAU & one perfect for Double Life. Like. I cannot even.

It's kinda crazy how bad using spotify is right now. Idk what people are gonna do once they patch out all the ways to skip ads and listeners have to start using the app as intended

#Like... 2-3 songs. Then 4 ads. Often the same ads too #Reminds me of cable television where 1/3 of a show's runtime could be nothing but commercials #Or american comics where there's a full page advertisement every 3 pages #And now both those industries are on life support #Honestly the only reason why i use spotify is cuz of the culture. You dont see people say 'check out my blorbo playlist on pandora'
