could you design Qibli? he’s my fave character!!!

Don't worry, Qibli is actually one of the more requested characters. @shionin and @fantasykiri5 also asked to see a Qibli redesign, and here it is!

(I kind of thought Qibli was second-most requested, but it's actually Queen Scarlet which is really surprising)

Either way, here's my Qibli redesign! I've loved Qibli since his introduction, so this was honestly really great to finally do - although I will admit this redesign isn't very similar to how I imagined him as a kid, since most of my interpretations of the WoF characters were based on MAPs which generally made Qibli less orange. Regardless, I'm pretty happy with this design and I feel like it fits him in its own way.

Moving over to the details: Qibli's scales haven't really been changed too much: he uses a color pallet similar to most canon interpretations, with the added full-body freckles and sunspots to keep things consistent throughout his design. I always wondered why the freckles were only on his face? Although that does make a lot of sense actually... a lot of people only get freckles on their face, me included. (Now I'm wondering why that didn't make sense to younger me!) Qibli's frills and wings had the most drastic change - I added a lot more orange/umber hue to them, and focused on sunstreak/spotty/sun-like patterns - I was definitely running with that freckle theme a little.. but it's also kind of cute because it parallels Sunny, and you could argue that Qibli and Sunny are both Thorn's kids.

Speaking of; Qibli still has his outclaw band, as well as a few other sparse alt accessories. Deciding his alternative-ness was something I debated a lot on: While I think it's reasonable that Qibli would lean heavily into alternative fashion because of his outclaw status, I also think he would have toned it down slightly out of a desire to appeal to the other students at jade mountain. Sad, but very in-character for someone so concerned with the opinions of others.

Continuing my redesigns for Descendants, this is my take on Carlos de Vil! Here’s where I can see why the modern setting approach works better for a character like Carlos, whose mother isn’t close to the other villains’ time periods. Let’s just pretend that in this take, the school and world take place in a “out of time” sort of setting where it’s primarily a fantasy oriented place with the possibility of characters coming in from modern time periods. That, or the other characters are just suuuuper old fashioned. 🙃 For Carlos, I liked the idea of his wardrobe being old money hand downs passed over to him by Cruella - high fashion materials that are now tearing and falling apart. I kept him slightly shorter than the girls (even though it’s not super apparent without a height comparison) just because I liked that idea of him being the runt of the litter in his friend group.

Goat!Luka to complete the pair. I ditched the logic I've kept for Luka's designs and embraced the "technological" look of the brush. I also gave him slightly longer hair because the girls can't be the only ones having luscious locks, just saying~ I must admit that this is my second take at it after a failed proportions attempt last week (ノへ￣、) The old design had boots and was mostly asymmetrical.

I don’t have much to say in regards to my pride headcanons so to pad for space I will be giving just general peril hcs 🫵 I’ll also be using Peril’s canon pronouns for the rest of this, but let it be known I hc Peril as using they/he/she

While it is stated in canon that Peril is 100% SkyWing, I hc that Chameleon subconsciously makes his “masks” vaguely resemble RainWings, and in that sense Peril also vaguely resembles a RainWing SkyWing hybrid, such as having more RainWing style horns and a slightly curled tail. Also its mentioned in Talons of Power when Turtle is crushed by the stone that in addition to being invulnerable to injuries, Turtle doesn’t feel any pain, which is again proven when Turtle is enveloped in flames later in the book. With how Peril reacts to Clay being able to heal from burns quickly, I’d imagine she’d be overjoyed to be able to hug her #2 best friend without hurting him, and i desperately need to see this brought up in canon

I would really like to make a more detailed redesign for her once I get better at drawing dragons, but this one suffices for now! I’ll probably repost this with an edited drawing later cause looking at it now there are some things I would like to fix

totally disregard all the writing if you dont care lmaooo this is just me word vomiting about my ocs and thought process when doing this haha i just thought id give some context cuz i always forget you guys know literally nothing about my characters

Day 27: Crossover! So this is a two parter, part 1 is Gumlee x Ritzneer obvvvvvviously because I’m basic I can’t help but compare them and a lot of others can’t help it either from what I’ve seen I had an insane stroke of genius calling Veneer ‘Prince Gumdrop’ and I don’t think I’ll ever reach those heights again

Part 2 of the crossover is MLP CROSSOVER!! Including unicorn ‘Colt Ritz’ which I am quite proud I must say considering I hadn’t drawn a pony in like- 10 years AS WELL AS Pegasus ‘Boogie Bomb’ which I am ALSO quite proud of, he has very big wings and is covered in little green spots (which mimic the spotty design he has on his shaved scalp as a Rageon) he looks a bit like a donkey but I think that’s just because of his little facial hair bits and massive pointy ears I gave him hmmmm Also, siren Velvet and Veneer!! I can’t remember the exact lore of the sirens since I haven’t seen the film in a real long time but I got some help from my friend who is a big MLP fan and she filled me in on the lore etc, as well as inspiration from another artist on here who also did a VV x MLP crossover, I reposted their amazing art on my other blog so def go check it out. Anyway, VV are sirens and disguise themselves as alicorns (but also hide their flanks as they have no cutie marks)

Day 31: Halloween!!! 🎃 👻 💀 🦇 🐈‍⬛ Last one!! This one took foreveerrrrr and again, I just had to try to outdo myself with the amount of bs happening on screen at once I tried to include all my main fav ocs, as well as the twins and KR all going door to door in a massive trick or treating horde

I called this the 'soft launch' of my Velvet and Veneer fan parents, Dr Velocity (mum) and Dr Voltage (dad), they're in matching Frankenstein and Frankenstein's wife costumes :3. They mean well of course as any parent does but their good intentions can get lost in translation (harsh punishments and struggling/refusing to understand their bizarre children). I will definitely give them their spotlight when I eventually get around to redesigning them (slightly) and writing out some information about them to share with you guys because I like them a lot :P

-Theres Glow Worm getting her costume repaired by Rhinestone after she ripped it doing multiple cartwheels in a row -Velvet and Veneer trading their sweets that they collected (you'd think they were discussing border placement or something, they take it so seriously) -Veneer and TV Girl finally getting along after telling their lame boyfriends to stop fighting with each other -And a zombie Boogie sketch I refused to finish whoops

Let's talk about them (SPOILERS AHEAD):

She's the one Alastor's soul is bound to!! Slay madame slay. I've loved her in S1 and I love her even more now possibly (and whatever evil plans she might have, I support)

The Sera and bird angel song is honestly quite good. Is that... Heaven's equivalent of a Goetia? Don't the Goetia also originate from Heaven? Who knows

Human Pentious is... pretty cute? I mean he looks about how you'd imagine.

HAH. So Human Alastor (who had a much better hairdo in life) made a deal with Rosie. Interesting... that does raise the question of how sinner demons can communicate with the living? Unless she's not a sinner demon? Based on all this she must be more than she seems...

OOOOH. Vox will capture Alastor! And the LED mask gag has a frown projection to further disarm him, as his smile is his weapon and show of unwavering strength and confidence...

He looks extremely jarring but I guess that's the point

Vox my beloved. He's such a bastard I can't wait for more of him (I like his voice and mannerisms, bite me)

I'm also digging Lute's song. I'm wondering where she is (there seem to be a lot of big glass walls... windows?), and there's also her hallucinating Adam... oh boy. Lady you may be going slightly mad

VoxTek has been spreading misinformation about the day of the battle, Killjoy is there... sounds like Brandon now... okay

So Pentious' sin was sloth. And... that's it. No unethical experiments or killing in the name of science, fucking things up with his inventions... nope. He just didn't act when he could've brought a murderer to justice. I mean that also does land you in Hell, I can see it, but considering he ended up endeavoring to cause mass destruction in turf wars and challenging overlords to usurp them (or something along those lines... it's been a while for me y'all), that is definitely underwhelming. Like he wasn't that bad. So how did he become a villain wannabe down there. Also that bird woman is apparently a representative of God; I am thankful that she isn't actually God herself. She's easily the kindest character we've met in Heaven, I like her. (Wonder where she was during S1...) Lute losing it and being demoted was also pretty cool to see, and uh... hi, Abel? Hope you don't get killed again by a bloodthirsty Lute so she can take back control...

Alastor is INJURED yes we love to see it. I'm cheering like Vox whenever that bastard is suffering. B-but where is his deer tail. He should have a tail

PART 1 of ART TRADE

I am doing a trade with my buddy @tepidti and I decided to do a little more for him than just a simple exchange of oc x canon digital drawing(s). I decided to make Shrinky Dink keychain charms for him as a little extra bc he is my oldest online buddy, and he deserves a lot of nice things uwu

DETAILS / PROCESS

Sooo, I was there for the conception of Dragonsteel (OC featured above), thus he holds a very special place in my heart. I LOVE how beautifully disastrous MegaSteel is... I cannot get enough... They are just SO CUTE and HILARIOUS.

As for the process, I am gonna make posts about each one I do, that way everyone can see the WIP... this is also so my buddy knows my process without me text dumping on him in our DM LOL

Redesign - I tried not to change too much on him. All I really changed was the positioning of his horns slightly, as well as some details on the helm itself, but other than that, I wanted the silhouette to be roughly the same. Dragon's art is a pretty simplistic style already so he was really easy to adapt into another style.

Color - I leaned closer to a more purple primary on Dragonsteel. I added some blue in and blended it to give it a more cool undertone, as well as to better shade the piece (dunno bout you guys but shrinky dinks are really hard to shade with pencils on qwq). I also opted to make the glass on his chest pink like his optics to balance and diverse the colors a bit more. I think the touch of yellow in the pink optic really help balance the look too. (I actually hadn't noticed the yellow in his ref sheet until I started to REALLY analyze his design and colors. I worked so seamlessly o.o)

Technique! Technique! - So I basically just started on normal printer paper for the sketch, and then transferred it to tracing paper, and lined/traced that onto the Shrinky Dink sheet.

NOTE: You can technically line with permanent marker on the slick/glossy side of the shrinky dink sheet, and it gives you a really NEAT look of 3D when it comes out cleanly, but it's such a risky process bc even the perm. marker wipes off/smears too damn easy. Doing it on that side will likely ruin the design altogether, so I suggest lining on the rough side.

Colored pencils grip to the rough side excellently, but once you start adding layers of color, it proves to be quite challenging because of how smooth the surface gets. It's easy to erase the colored pencil on them though, so mistakes are easily remedied in that regard.

Cyrus' Signature Spell:

I realised I haven't really posted much about my TWST sona (not my YuuSona) so I'll post a bit about him here : P (Yah I'm gonna redesign him soon)

What it does?

'Mariana's Melody'- Due to Cyrus being a siren, he already has a decent singing voice. However, whilst singing his voice allows him to mentally and physically control those around him. He can't do this forever, as the drawback is that it can cause his throat to become extremely dry/sore rather quickly. And besides, he only does it in dire need, he enjoys singing as a hobby and not as a skill against others. It is useful when Azul is convincing people to make deals however, and only if he feels like it, he'll act as the lounge singer at Mostro Lounge.

How he obtained this?

Overthinking it!

Slightly swimming backstage, their white and red fin flicked with such velocity that bubbles were starting to appear within the salty water. Biting on a nail, they dared to glance at the stage, seeing the sea of faces in the audience. Their grins were wide and eyes shining with awe, and Cyrene’s stomach sunk with the expectation of delivering such a feat. With them was Jade, also swimming gently after them as Cy paced.

‘I… don't know if I've got this.’

Cy eventually admitted to Jade only, pursing their lips as they looked at him for a little console. He could only shrug, a little exhausted as to what to say.

'We've already told you you're going to be amazing. Stop worrying, it'll only make your performance bad.’

A bit of tough love, but they needed to hear it.

A roar of applause erupted from the audience as they all swum a little higher and clapped, mimicking a standing ovation. The mermaid on the slightly raised stage (which was just a large, smooth slate) bowed and swam off, waving politely to the audience. Cy adjusted the little shell hair clip in their hair, exhaling before turning to Jade.

'Alright, thanks.’

He swum off, finding his space between Azul and Floyd in the audience. With a final little shake of their hands, Cy emerged from behind, taking to the stage with an albeit slightly red face. It was the finals of an external singing contest, and Cy’s other two competitors had already sung. So; the floor really was theirs. The beaming light from above felt hot on their skin, and it didn't help that they practically couldn't see. Someone should've told the lighting department that Sirens prefer darker settings.

After a judge on the panel introduced them, Cy began to sing ever so softly as a backing track played in a gentle form. Once they found more confidence, the thoughts they had of others in the audience became positive. In fact, as they sang more and more and smiled more and more, it seemed the audience did too. When Cy moved their arm in a gracious gesture, or pulled an anguished expression to match the mood of the song, it seemed the audience did too. Cy just assumed it was the audience becoming enraptured with the song. Toward the end of the fine melody, Cy looked out to the sea of faces with nothing but pride, hand outstretched to the light as their other hand rested mindfully on their chest. Strangely, their throat began to burn, to ache as if they had been screaming. Cy was sure their volume was in check, noticing no grimaces from the audience. They had made sure to rest their voice prior.

So, approaching the final, high note, Cyrene gave it their all. A slow turn of their body and a projection of their voice ensured the note rang long and high, with an intentional vibrato for emotional effect. Once it was over, they expected to be deafened with applause and whistle. But, nothing. In fact, Cy peered at the judges and audiences and found them all entranced. Now they wondered if they had been off time, or accidentally broken the note, or something had happened. Looking behind them, they saw no distractions that would lead to a reaction like this. Until finally, they clapped once at the audience, and finally they were relished in that wave of applause. Their gazes broke from yonder and focused on Cy’s red-and-white form, their stripes and most of all their talent. Within the audience, Cy could pinpoint not only their friends but their friends’ parents and their own, clapping and swimming upward in the same pride and joy Cy was overwhelmed by. The judges waited for the crowd to calm down, before thanking Cy.

Waving at the audience with a massive beam on their face, Cy left the stage and could only try to contain their happiness. The other two contestants now seemed a little less confident, looking anywhere by Cy. Somehow, this didn't seem to dampen Cy’s mood, only making them more joyous and selfishly, big headed. The three were all called onto the stage for the final time, where for once the lights dimmed. All three held their heads low as the winner was announced, their name ringing out into the ocean around.

‘And, the winner is… Cyrene Pearl!’

Cy’s head instantly perked up, face stunned and all red again as they were once again blessed with the applause, light focusing on them as they could only bow again in a facade of humbleness. They gave a short little speech, swimming off stage with a little bouquet of shells and aquatic flowers, and a pearly crown just for them.

Of course their first reaction wasn't to swim to their parents, but to their friends: Jade, Floyd and Azul. Jade gave a little nod, and Floyd enveloped Cy in a tight hug- Cy’s crown toppled off. Azul caught it and placed it back on Cy’s head, the trio all amassed in a group hug. However, Cy’s own curiosity dulled the moment.

‘Did you guys… notice something weird when I sang?’

The three looked at each other, before Floyd nodded.

'Yeah, it was like my ears started ringin’ all of a sudden and I couldn't snap my head away. Not in a normal way, it was odd.’

Jade added to Floyd's synopsis.

'He's quite right, I think the whole audience was entranced… and not in the complement way-no offense. Hmm…’

It seems he too was lost in thought and had no answers.

Azul’s face lit up for a moment as a familiar idea came to him.

‘Wait a moment… you're a Siren. Generations ago, they had hypnotic abilities concerned with their singing voices. None of your family have that, do they?’

The way he spoke of it was a little like a disease, but Cy shook their head nonetheless. Azul continued, a hand resting on his chin.

‘Hmm… it might've been your Signature Spell.’

The rest of the group jumped back, eyes wide, jaws open.

‘What, does it sound so farfetch'd?’

Cyrene quickly waved their hands in the water, face puzzled as they remembered to hold onto the bouquet.

‘But, doesn't one have to be working towards that type of thing for it to occur? That seemed, spontaneous.’

The twins shot looks at Azul.

‘It mostly does, yes, but there are sometimes exceptions. If you aren't busy the rest of the day, why don't we all go and test it out?’

To be honest, the thought of getting to manipulate Floyd did seem funny to Cy. All four of them had already began to swim away, smiling and chuckling to themselves. Cy side-eyed the twins with a big grin… smug. They nodded their head, elbowing Azul with a smile.

‘As long as we get a hearty dinner at your mothers after.’

sure thing! i don't develop it much right now but i am really glad you took interest in an old project!

the au is essentially P03 took his charicatures. ocs. uberbot personality matricies and built them bodies to help out around the factory. it was very self indulgent. i also made an au of an au relating to the old data with them (which was slightly implied in that animatic but not a lot)

this is the only image i have of them together that isn't whiteboard doodles. i will go from left to right

curator/the archivist

as the title implies. manages the archives. has a lot of busywork and responsibility. the archives is a big room where everything is represented by a file. it's a computer library in physical form

all the responsibility makes them seem like the most calm/patient and.. kinda? it's more that they are good at hiding when they are frustrated. already has a pretty big managerial role with the librarians so will check in on everyone else's work

nexus/g0lly

collects things from the internet, works closely with curator. the glowy bits are projections, including the arm (where the crank would be... opposies w/ p03. it doesn't work btw). the wheel is optional and she can extend it back to float but doesn't because that's less fun. i forgot exactly where the scratch came from?

she has the vibe of p03's younger teenage sister (it did this to himself) and is very whimsical. she doesn't really bother him that much, more afraid of upsetting him than anything. more often bothers the other bots with random things she finds

kodak/the photographer

manages the factory's security system. all of the cameras are his eyes he can tab between. he is also part furnace and can run on biofuel. likes to leave the factory from time to time to go on walks. he cannot float like the first two but walks around on tripod legs

prefers to keep to himself most of the time. he does his job and then takes his breaks walking around in the projector woods. wants to go to the real woods some day but that requires either crossing an ocean or everyone seeing you and how you're clearly not supposed to be there

sketch/unfinished

robot project that p03 started but never finished. it did have an intended job but i honestly forgot. mute/blind unless given a face by someone else. i remembered wanting to redesign it but as it exists now, the cables attach to the ceiling and there's only designated spots it can run around. body is pretty frail (compared to the other bots. it's still metal) so the others are careful

acts animalistic and strange until given a face. then mirrors the personality of whoever it can follow around. it slowly learns over time and one day will have its own personality

the au with the old data i mentioned has to do with my oc k. who is the old data that got pissed p03 backed out of uploading it to the internet so took him over to do it themselves. took over during the unfinished boss fight (in this au not like the actual uberbots themselves did the game thing. since p03 wanted to do that himself) but the takeover was known and alerted for. the exact details of this version of the au are lost on me but here is k as p03

and k as k once they lost (because they were still stopped) and became a permanent addition to inscryption world because they couldn't lose the consciousness she gave himself after possessing a sentient character (yay newer art)

TIS BE THE NYM!

I have redesigned the Nym! Look at him, he is beautiful. He has gained earrings, earcuffs, a neck collar thing, and short somewhat messy hair! His outfit has also changed quite alot. However I have not drawn it yet, so I can not show it off yet to you. I also fonally decided to take a long hard look at his hair as Oren. It had been bugging me for ages, so I played with the colours and hues. I have settled on making him a ginger kid with a less dramatic difference between the two colour sections. I also tried out a fully red version which will be included below. Though this is the one the DM thinks would be most accurate to Lore.

Working backwards here for some reason. However these two images above are of my 2nd and 3rd sketches. The 3rd was to get the shape out better and in bigger slightly more detail. The 3rd is the digital one and was me just trying to make a digital version with the same vibe. However it did not pass the vibe check and was promptly scrapped.

These next two are sketches are the same one, the first one, just one is lined and the other isnt. Back when I made these ones I assumed that is all I would do. Hence why I lined the sketch. However I ended up likijg it alot and felt it was a good direction to take Nym in so I wanted to follow that concept through to completion. I did emd up doing so clearly and I love it. You have to admit he does look cooler now.

Finally here is just some bonus colourings. The first is him somewhat returned to his former self but still broken. The second is him with red hair instead of orange. It still isnt red red but you get the idea! I thinknit also looked cool but the DM said the orange was better so eh.

* i finished redesigning my main iterator ocs ... this is the trinkets group and while i dont have proper full names for all of them i do have nicknames

* everyone in the trinkets local group has some sort of point of interest that they study / research / create !

1. "Parade" (he/him) - second oldest of the group, point of interest - slugcats . creates a concerning amount of slugcats , redesigned his Guts (as in the superstructure interior) to be slugcat-safe , even changed his name and slightly modified his puppet to reflect slugcats . his favorite is the byproduct which was an accidentally created slugcat-like blob organism resulting from trying to make a beetle cat lol . cut off the rest of the group cuz in his eyes they were pestering him to stop doing what he loved )basically the QUIT HAVING FUN image) (his original (as in pre-redesign not in-universe) name was Parade Of A Thousand Slugs in reference to thousands of slugcats Parading in his superstructure lol)

2. "Flicker" (it/they) - youngest of the group (along with skies) , point of interest - ice (and the safety of its friends) . has a little purposed overseer that they send into the others' cans to check in on them , really doesnt think abt ice that much but its half of the two's shared can is very cold

3. "Skies" (she/they) - youngest of the group (along with flicker) , point of interest - fire . her half of the two's shared can is very very Hot . got a Fire Slugcat from parade as a "i dont wanna talk to you guys anymore but im not dead" gift or something . dating breeze . also likes picking on flicker and is a bit impulsive and has a short fuse

4. "Comets" (she/star) - oldest of the group , point of interest - unknown, assumed to be pearls . unlike everyone else she doesnt make use of broadcasts and instead replies to everyone using pearls delivered by her freaky little messenger star named bubblegum . everyone ( especially flicker) is worried star'll collapse soon bc of her age ... sends most of her pearls to flicker . seen as serene and wise

5. "Breeze" (she/her) - a little older than skies and flicker , point of interest - vultures . has a "pet" vulture named charlotte and a dedicated overseer for making sure shes safe named pixie . just thinks birds are cool !! dating skies . im still kinda workin on her . very jolly

6. "Stones" (they/them) - aged somewhere between breeze and parade .. point of interest - the rot . thoughts on today's volume! this was certainly an experience. 🙂 for real tho, we've definitely reached the point of the season where everything starts flying off the rails

i'm putting my clown costume on & continuing my natasha route, she told MC that her and stefan are just friends (i was getting mixed signals in this volume tbh, but if stef/natasha are actually romantic if you're off their routes , i'm just gonna assume it's glitches or FB being too lazy to branch rather than her being dishonest)

unfortunately for those who thought uma being a returning islander was going to be a fake-out , hamish brought her ass back in a friendship couple (granted he would've been dumped if he didn't twist, but he seriously couldn't have picked anyone else ? 😭)

then we play whatever this challenge was, i was mentally checking out . i hyped all the guys up except finn. it really bothers me that he keeps flirting with MC no matter how many times i've pied him off, it's giving suresh

i also thought that uma was going to be dumped due to her lack of a redesign ... perhaps fixing her weirdly long broken arm & "5 seconds away from pissing herself" pose is asking too much of FB, but they could've at least given her a new hair & outfits 😭 it wouldn't fix her personality but jeez (slightly off topic but i think uma's face is gorgeous, FB did her so dirty in so many different ways)

i picked all the chill options with her. side note, i'm so bored with these rivals that just go after whoever you're coupled up with . i'd be much more invested if the drama was like: stefan trying to have a proper relationship with natasha, hamish trying to win her back, or even uma wanting to pursue her

speaking of the drama, chen randomly decides that he's somehow more compatible with somebody he's known for a grand total of two days than the person he's been madly in love with for this entire season ... really bad paraphrasing here but my jaw was on the ground when he was like "uma is actually interested in melbourne and did research about it, you shouldn't move to my home city because of me, what if you hate it🥺." mind you, my MC is also australian

FB keeps reusing this "LI and MC fighting because they had a disagreement over the most miniscule bullshit" plot point and i don't understand why . later on he apologises but it's just so...ugh . Overbearing i guess ? idk how to describe it but i think i'm done with him

my tinfoil hat theory is that FB is trying to ruin everybody's route to make finn look good by comparison, and that's just not happening for me luv, but i will say that it made me appreciate hamish more . he's a hot mess but his scenes with MC are very sweet (love a friends to lovers moment)

at least the chen drama gave me the strength to go to the hideaway with natasha without feeling guilty (that damn hyperempathy lmao)

of course we get The Box™ again, but this time there's sexy...crossword ? 😭 (like i've said before, i don't care about these scenes so i can test out whatever FB adds without being like "damnnn that was a waste of time")

it's definitely better than dice, it's not some super spicy thing, just (at least with natasha, idk if it can change) neck kisses before the option of going all the way/bits/cuddling . sexy crossword is a deeply unserious concept but i would go with it if you're tired of the other options

next up is movie night, my MC is a hoe (mainly in the sense that anybody on a wlw route can't officially be with their LI until the final recoupling, but i'm also on hamish's route now) but i didn't do anything in casa, so i wonder what her clip will be. my prediction is that it'll end up being something that can apply to all players e.g. the PDA awards drama

(can't wait for everyone to clutch their pearls over MC turning down finn for the one millionth time 😍)

Au Redesigns Part 4

Masterlist

Amy

The vibe I was trying to go with for Amy was along the lines of “cottage core chic”

She’ll beat the stuffing out of you and look cute while doing it

I gave her an overall/garden dress and stylized doctor’s coat over her red dress and a cute headband

I also gave her buff arms, they’re kinda hard to see with her sleeves, but I thought that if she can do stuff like physically punch through walls then she’s gotta have pretty strong muscles

Cyril

I tried to give him the vibe of a gothic vampire, but like, if a vampire went to the met gala

He’s already very Vampire-y in canon too, so it fits

The outfit he wears is heeled boots, high waisted pants, a ruffled shirt, and a coat worn as a cape

His hair is in a half up style with a bun, and the pins are shaped like clock hands

Wahlberg

This one is actually one of the main reasons I took so long to finish

His design always felt too bland when I drew him, but then I realized that Wahlberg does seem like a person who would dress in more simple clothes (maybe with some slightly whimsical touches)

I did try to put more detail on parts of his face like dimples and soft wrinkles around his eyes (mostly covered by his glasses)

He also has cute stars and planets on the chain of his glasses and on his robe

His hair is styled like Neuvillette (Genshin), which means he has a really low tied and loose ponytail in the back

Since I took *checks notes* roughly two months to finish this, have some bonus random headcanons:

Epidem has been Mao Mao (Apothecary Diaries) style banned from touching dead bodies

Famin is ambidextrous and double-jointed/hypermoblie

Due to his larger size and strength, Doom is nervous around small animals and children because he doesn’t want to hurt them on accident

Cyril enjoys fruity cocktails, but he can’t have them often because he is relatively lightweight

Any can bake like a pro, but she cannot cook at all

Delisaster likes Finn a lot and finds him (platonically)cute, and fun to mess with in a sibling way

Domina will often refer to things that he heard his family say or things they did/told him, leading to him knowing a bunch of random facts

Wahlberg has freckles on his hands and face, they disappear in the Winter

Being “undead”, Cell War doesn’t need to breathe as often as a normal human, but he is also highly susceptible to things like very cold environments

Another unlucky character - I was attempting to give him few backstories [a policeman, a serial killer - edgy much X,D], but finally he has none.

Visually he's still slightly a relic from old doodles with these stick-thin limbs and shark grin.

Jumin!! Jumin Han!! Horrible guy. I think he needs a serious reality check and a change in behaviour. Here’s my Jumin redesign because I must do my own rewrite. (Not a ton of changes tbh. Mostly to things I find icky or I think I’d like better lol)

He’s fucked up and has chronic issues because me too. His hair is slightly longer, he’s still obsessive but this time we don’t go ‘omg daddy’ instead MC is like ‘dude stop /srs’

He probably gets treatment following the whole Elizabeth III debacle. Because uh… not a normal reaction to losing your cat. Yeah. Also I feel like MC’s relationships in my rewrite will be more exploring whoever they’re pursuing. Like instead of seeing the characters as attractive it’s moreso exploring their issues. Mostly because Jumin needs to build a support system, Jaehee needs to marry a woman and leave Jumin because he’s not good for her! He’s a bad boss! They need a neutral friendship and he needs to learn some boundaries.

Essentially rich autistic boy who has no emotional maturity because he doesn’t know how to properly cope with his feelings and was never taught how because his parents are both useless and his skill development works differently than others.

He has good traits too. I just like criticizing him because he’s human and I know he can do better.

He’s very kind believe it or not. He doesn’t know how to show it but he really cares for people. He isn’t as much of a stuck up prick as he seems. He is just really blunt. He’s learning to harness that into positivity.

He embraces that embroidery grind. He needs more hobbies. I’m thinking he embroiders a little patch of Elizabeth III for 7O7. He treasures it forever.

He’s queer but takes a really long time to figure it out. He thought he was gay for awhile because he doesn’t trust women (thanks dad.) though soon realized he’s bi. He’s aroacespec. Romantic feelings are few and far between for him and he’s only ever developed them like once. He’s not too into sex but he likes kink and is happy to please his partner. Relationships are difficult for him but he gets by.

His favourite colour is purple and he has a cat spin. He’s pretty easy to shop for.

He follows an extremely specific morning and night routine and if they’re interrupted or stopped somehow he will shut down.
