So they knew you would attract others, didn’t mean they would like it. But they couldn’t say anything to you, they knew that you would give them a look and tease them not to be jealous.

Not that they would ever admit to that either, but they didn’t want to make you angry, so they bit their tongue for the most part and observed you. You laughed as Che’nya scared Grim.

Riddle had to command his students from starting a scene.

You smiled and hugged Neige as he approached you with the dwarves.

Vil smiled but it didn’t match the coldness in his eyes, but that didn’t stop Rook from fangirling from right next to him.

Were they surprised that you somehow brought two schools together despite their hatred for each other? No matter how one sided? No.

But what surprised them all was the words from the RSA students’ mouths.

“How lucky you are to have YN with you.”

“Cherish them.”

The smile and confident aura surprised the NRC students.

“You never know. Someone might come and take them from you.”

“They might tire from the trouble you cause and join us instead.”

tbh I don't know why everyone is so surprised that Riddle didn't pick Trey to be his Vice. I always thought that idea was contradictory to the version of Riddle that we see leading up to his overblot.

To quickly explain for those who don’t know: the recent update informed us that Trey was voted by his dormitory peers into the vice dorm leader position. He was not, in fact, hand selected by the newly appointed dorm leader Riddle.

I don’t really blame people for being surprised. Based on the presentation of Riddle and Trey in book 1 and what we knew prior about how vice dorm leaders are picked, the lore we learn in book 7 almost feels like it’s trying to convince us of another narrative historical revisionism, ayo/j. Let me try to explain what I mean.

Firstly, we have to remember that we spent a lot of book 1 with Trey, not with Riddle. We had lunch with Trey, we made a chestnut tart with Trey, we confronted Trey in the library, and we fought OB Riddle with Trey. We also see the camera cutting away to multiple instances of Trey trying to smooth things over with Riddle. And Trey is the one with warmth and fondness for his relationship with Riddle. Because we spend all this time with Trey (who is still attached to Riddle) versus Riddle (who is supposedly distant and detached), we get the impression that the two are closer than they truly are prior to Riddle’s OB. This impression is further strengthened by the presence of Chenya, another friend who paints their shared childhood in a largely positive light.

If you pay attention to how Riddle speaks to Trey throughout book 1 (pre-OB), Riddle does not speak warmly at all. He is usually speaking from the position of a ruler to his second-in-command and much of his dialogue with Trey is him commanding Trey to do X or Y. There’s no reminiscing about old times, no Riddle lording their childhood friendship to guilt Trey into falling in line, no leniency with Trey, nothing that would imply a connection beyond a professional one. Riddle basically treats Trey the same as Cater, his other third year minion at the time—and Riddle isn’t close with Cater at all. The one major exception I would say is right before Riddle OBs, in which he demands if Trey is also betraying him. Again, because we have spent so much time with Trey, we see Riddle from his perspective. We are more likely to view Riddle’s demand as him being hurt that his childhood friend is turning on him versus viewing Riddle’s demand as being hurt that his right-hand man who has been following his orders right up until now refuses to obey.

Really, it feels like less of an issue of fans not picking up on Riddle and Trey being alienated in early book 1 and more of an issue of how book 1 is framed. So much of it is colored by Trey’s (ironically) rose-colored lenses, so we as the viewers who are exposed to it are far more likely to see their friendship as persisting and Riddle having a soft spot for Trey as well. (Riddle is more patient later in the main story too, Granted that book 1 was so long ago, fans may remember the more patient and empathetic post-book 1 Riddle and may judge him based on that metric rather than the book 1 metric.)

Another major aspect as to why people are surprised that Riddle didn’t personally pick Trey as his vice dorm leader is because we literally didn’t know about any other methods to become vice dorm leader??? 😭 Like. I’m pretty sure that the only method we knew of before was to be picked by the dorm leader. I guess people noticed Riddle and Trey were childhood friends and assumed Riddle picked Trey because of familiarity? This is also the case with several other dorm leader/vice dorm leader duos, so this conclusion isn’t based on nothing.

Trey doesn’t strike a lot of us as a particularly… ambitious person?? He often expresses that he doesn’t like getting involved in conflicts or when people cause problems for him, which would be common occurrences for someone in a position of power like the vice dorm leader seat. You’d think Trey would actively want to avoid those responsibilities. Most of us probably didn’t think he would accept the position of vice dorm leader unless the person picking him for it is someone he cares about and/or feels like he has to support—which Riddle is. A ton of his behaviors in book 1 supports this, from doing Riddle’s dirty work and sharing that he harbors guilt over the past + struggles to speak against Riddle because of that.

Book 7 tells us what was technically true of Riddle’s perspective and treatment of Trey early in book 1. We just failed to see it before because of the lack of information and overwhelming bias at the time.

You ears peeked out of Jade’s shoulder before you head. You had been changed to octavinelle uniform, curtesy of Jade whom had said the Scarabia uniform is going to make you catch a cold, how kind is this eel.

“Oo! Azull!! Hello!!” You are carried piggy back by jade.

It seems the cupid is very busy today ad he kept shooting arrows at all these wolves you meet. Give him a break pleaseee..

“Ehem..” Azul cough trying to gain his composure back.

“Now.. how would you like to stay in Octavinelle?.. i had all the documents here and of course a scroll for you to sign consent.” He pushed you to the seat, he then walked over to the seat across from you pulling out the documents and of course the golden scroll. 

Jade and Floyd sandwiched you to your seat. 

You are just happy, because the close proximity just warms you up. 

“Hmm… i’ll think about it..” you nonchalantly answered. 

“ think about it, we will feed you, give your daily brushing, Jadi will even massage you, all you need to do is work for monstro lounge and stay with us.”

You could see azul grabbing his feathered pen and writing something.

That feather pen swish and swings, gaining your focus. You slitted eyes following where ever they go.

“A.. y/n! What are you…?!” you hoped onto the table as you try to catch the pen. Azul shocked as he tries to keep you away from the pen. He put his pen up high away from you.

“Hey.. no! bad! Its dangerous!”

You are to focused on the feathered pen you pouched to where ever the pen is, disregarding any safe precaution at all This caused the chair to tilt up before falling down, Azul holding your waist as he could feel the chair falling. Azul fall to his back joining the chair and you landing on top of him waist held in an embrace.

You managed to catched the feathered pen though!

You start to sit up on top of Azul pridefully grinning as you show them you catched your prey. Azul is fozen, heart beating at a 1000000 Mph. The things you did to him. Flushing fool he has become as he stammered unable to form eligible sentences, his poor brain running while, The chest that is pressed into his face whist you both fall and now you sitting above him.

“AAaaaaa…” he covered his flushing face. Unable to take it anymore, he wished to crawl back to his octopot.

Jade and Floyd shocked expression turn into an amused one.

“Ehh~ Azul, no fairr! I also want them to squeeze me like that! Y/n, Y/n Squeeze meee! Squeeze me!” Floyd whined picking you up as he hold you in his embrace. This boy is going to squeeze you tight for being too adorable.

“Ahahaha, would you look at that, you had made Azul’s face resembles a boiled octopus.” He approached his brother who is hugging you from the bad while carrying you like a plushie, he poked your face.

“it will be more fascinating when you are around.”

You dreaded that hug time is over as you wiggle out of his hold, running away from them with the feathered pen.

“Waitt..!!” Azul saw your fleeting form, but it is too late you had gone away.

“ Jade, Floyd after them.”

Now to wonder where you are, You had decided you need a well deserved nap on a comfy spot, which is on top of the drawer for metal plates used for cooking meals. You smack the bowls blocking your way as you lay down ready to take a good well rested nap.

“ A! There she is~ look Jade they are resting on top of the drawer.” Floyed mused.

“ Oh my look at the mess you have made!”

“y/n get down this instant.” Azul sternly demanded.

Then comes the spray bottle.

Growing irritated you see your surrounding founding more metal plates and bowls, then an idea pops your mind, mischevious smile plastered on your face. You grab smack them near the edge.

You had smack them strong enough to land on top of the octopus’s head.

Jade and Floyd started laughing of course before you also smack these bowls on top of their head. Laughing menacingly above,

You had realized you fucked up as the two eels trying to climb up to where you are, it is not at all difficult for them of course since they are basically large and tall monsters.

You shrieked as you look for a way out, then you see Azul.

“ What ever you are thinking Sto—” You puched towards him of course landing you a couple of water spray but it is a better faith than being in the hands of the tweels.

Azul has fallen into his back with the water spray as you pounced out of the way towards the door.

“Waitt!! Don’t runn!!”

“Is this a game of chase? You want to play cat and mouse? More like eel and cat? Hahaha~”

“if the esteemed guest want to play, we need to mused then don’t you tink so Floyd.”

“Of course~”

You bolt as fast as you can away, out of the mirror and into a net..?

Once you finish you knock to be let out of the room,

Ruggie has been wanting you to move to savannaclaw ever since the overblot incident, He find Leona to be docile around you, distracted by you, making him do less work, Not only that you helped him with chores too, your presence really give him that fuzzy warm feeling.

“but its coldd, your uniform have no sleeves.” You shivered.

“come here.” Leona embraced you as to share body heat.

“Leona, What should I do with this fishy clothes.”

“Hmm, give them to me.”

The sand was placed neatly on a colourful present box before being shipped away to the merfolk.

“ OHH Look at that! You approached the box looking around if somebody is near, Maybe it belonged to someone. After a while you realized that you saw nobody, you couldn’t just leave the treats left for the ants to eat! Those delicious treats don’t deserve that! You then getting inside it box before you start to eat the delicious bite sized treat,

The box turned into a cage before the wooden that kept tha cage up was removed abruptly leaving you stuck inside the cage.

“ Ehh we basically do things that same as you are. We don’t do anything special,, plus they are not the same kind of cat beast man as I am.”

“ Haa, I expected getting help from chenn’ya is just useless, But actually can you elaborate what do you mean by different like of cat beast man.

“ Unlike them I am a mix of both cat-like and human magic, she is magicless as she come! Plus I heard a rowdy group of two cards, one big fluffy dog, an apple, and a crocodile, talk about a defective potion, they say that there is a potion that has been sold that make the drinker to turn more into cat then a beatman hehehe..”

“ WHY DIDn’t you told us sooner!” Riddle shouted.

Of course that does not calm the heart of Riddle, even though he love your head rub very much he need to take you to crewel for your own good.

The arguments go on and on, it makes you bored and hence you leap away from the chair and explore the maze.

To your surprise there lay a man with a platinum silver hair laying down peacefully on the soft green ground.This of course had attracted your full attention. My god he look so comfortable, its like he is inviting you to lay on top of him, And so you did.

You had curled your body up and sleep on top the the man, head in his plush chest as leg draped on the ground, you sleep soundly using him as a pillow. You could feel a hand on you as the said man begun to lift you us and carry you.

“Father I got them already.”

“O good! Then be shall bid adeu!”

“ Let’s go Lilia.”

“ Hah?! You can’t just take them away! Off with your head!”

“ of course we can.” Riddle magic fail as you are whisked away by the briar prince and his retainer.

You lot of you had transported to diasomnia dorm. Silver putting you down.

“y/n welcome home.” Malleus greeted you.

“ Now silver be a dear and show y/n where they can change their clothes, These horid scheme just doesn’t suit them at all. Poor you forced into a badly made outfit, It isn’t even a real one, just a mere illusion trick.” He snaps his finger making trey’s unique magic on you disappear leaving you back in savannaclaw uniform.

“ oh my this uniform is even uglier, poor darling.” He hug you as he rubs you between your ears. You of course enjoy all the attention that was given to you as you purr.

“oh such a clingy kitten, now be a good kitty and follow silver.”

“y/n come here.”

You nod as you ran up to silver.

“khufufufu…curious and curiouser!”

and so, operation use silver as bait was a success.

Also some of this is just me going on about random and absolute far stretched shit, but hopefully the majority makes sense to y’all.

I’m about to sound batshit insane and this is going to be some MatPat sounding shit but here we go anyway.

I just made the realization that Che’nyas UM and already natural abilities we’ve seen puts him in a position to be deadass playing the Floor is Lava with Malleus as the lava rn.

They wouldn’t have told us his UM in the main story if it didn’t matter somehow. They had the opportunity to show us Neiges in Rooks dream, yet didn’t, so it isn’t a heres RSA UMs for for shits and giggles thing, and we don’t know ANY of the teachers UMs, so it isn’t a “filling npc” thing either.

In EVENTS, we learn the UMs of only the very important and/or dangerous characters. Rollo, Skully, and Fellow. (Geez, Halloween trio now that I think of it).

Do we know Dylia Spades? No. Do we know Eric Schronheits? No. Do we know Ambrose the 3rds? No. Do we know Elizas? No, we get slapped. Do we know Najima Vipers? No. (She might not have one yet tho but still).

These characters are all confirmed as mages, or not directly said to be magicless, so it’s fair to assume they are mages.

So they told us Che’nyas UM for a reason. Why?

Like if his UM makes him invulnerable to magic/attack and invisible, and straight up on ANOTHER PLANE OF EXISTENCE, then if he’s not technically “all there”, Malleus wouldn’t be able to sense him.

Plus, this would explain how Orthos body was floating on the water when STYX found it, as when we know Orthos HEAVY AF, and would more than likely sink, since I doubt they had the time to build in something inflatable enough to balance that weight.

To boot, Ortho was at the docks, which from the map, is super close to RSA.

The Cheshire Cat is the one who gets Alice out of Wonderland (In the movie, the tunnel Alice runs through matches the Cheshire cats color and stripes + He’s the only one not chasing her+ in the OG book, the Cheshire Cat is more of a Guide and the only one who really sticks with and helps Alice for the whole shabang), and if he’s in RSA, then I think the writers know that.

Aswell as the fact Che’nya appears in both Books with “Tyrant” in the name, and the Cheshire Cat is the only person completely immune to the Queen of Hearts control, as the second most powerful being in wonderland next to LITERALLY TIME ITSELF.

Look in most Disney Villain Line-Ups, and you’ll find the Cheshire Cat. Why? Marketing, the Cheshire Cats a popular character that isn’t directly portrayed as a hero, and more as a mysterious reoccurring character that isn’t necessarily seen as a helper unless you squint.

Additionally, we’ve seen Che’nya use flight, self gravity control, teleportation(unconfirmed but implied on that one) and use his UM for extremely long periods of time, and now that I think of it, we’ve never seen it wear him down, even without the lack of a magestone on his design.

And anyway, in the manga, he’s been doing such things since before we meet him for the first time at age 8-9 from Rids perspective.

Which means long enough that he basically has full control over it at that age, so probably either since birth or very, very young.

Which gives us the know that unlocked his UM way before meeting Riddle and mastered it, which means likely as a literal toddler woke up one day and went “Hey what if I just fucked off to another plane of existence and became both invisible and invulnerable, while capable of movement and communication on this plane the whole time.”

Now back to Book 7.

So heres what caught my attention, Silver mentions the only people he can pop into the dreams of are people he has connections with.

Seeing as we get Sebek first crack out of the box, and then Lilia, this makes sense.

However, it falls off when the next people start to be people Silver either doesn’t know, or very loosely knows.

Yes, I understand the commercial and writing point is meant to be a dorm countdown, but it would make far more sense to be a Russian Roulette, kind of upping the anticipation of whos next.

But to me, with what we know of Silvers connections, it would make far more sense to have the second years be first after Dia, then maybe the third years that he knows because of Lilia, and finally the first years, still leaving room for Ace to get his UM towards the very end.

Now if we drive this back to my Che’nya playing Yuu’s guardian angel theory, it would make more sense to start with Pomfieore after Igi, because not only is it recent connections, so probably easier to bring to the forefront of Silvers UM, it gives him time to get up to NRC right after pushing Ortho or simply getting him out safely.

Before you mention malleus’s barrier, Che’nya gets past NRCs barrier that took STYX heavy power shots to break like its every other tuesday, without Crowleys notice aswell, he stands a viable chance of slipping past Malleus’s.

If he can jump to another plane of existence in which he is invulnerable to magic, theres nothing stopping him from sliding past to get Ortho out and slipping back in under Malleus’s nose.

It also gives him a good “oh shit” moment and an idea of the root of whats happening.

And if I’m wrong and he can’t teleport, he can latch on to Malleus (possibly referencing the Cheshire Cat latching onto the Queens back after she gets a card solider executed I think) to teleport with him back to NRC.

With that, he could be preventing Silver OBing by basically shattering the shade/phantom before it can even do anything, while also hiding Idia being awake. That, or basically lending Silver magic enough to keep going while praying to god Mal doesn’t notice.

Lilia playing the worlds most dangerous game of tag with Mal in dreamland gives him the distraction he needs for this aswell, and it could be that everything went to shit around Trey-Riddles Dreams, and Che’nya popped in to speed up the process and or Dream Che’nyas revealing his UM kinda got his ass caught by Mal, or caused Mal to finally detect a disturbance in the force.

So if I’m right with the previously theorized Guardian Angel thing, Che’nya could be hotwiring Silvers UM to send Silver and co to the people he remembers helped Yuu and the rest recently without risking Malleus putting two and two together on who could be fucking with the dreams other than Silver, depending on how he was portrayed in Trey and Rids Dreams.

Though it would be hilarious if with the Floor is Lavaing it he was also Night at the Musueming it and just repeatedly moved each dreamer closer to Silver physically so they’d have a physical connection (like pinky to pinky or head to head) and basically had Malleus doing a eyebrow raise everytime he turned around trying to figure out if that person had been moved or he was seeing things until he realized there was an exponentially large group around Silver that definitely wasn’t there before.

Another thing: We know the Three Good Fairies weren’t affected by Maleficent’s curse and are the ones to untie Philip when he’s caught and give him the Sword and Shield, which his has, and loses all but the sword in the fight against Maleficent, the Sword and Shield which in the Og twst Trailer that scene is likely referenced by Silver as the Sword (duh) and Sebek as the Shield, with Lilia where Philip would be, although his arm is raised higher.

You kinda have to flip Sebek and Silvers positions but yea.

Sebek being Virtue is self explanatory. He strives to have the virtue of a knight worth of Malleus, and shows this in many ways, but his faults are his rudeness, arrogance, biased or generally rude assumptions, and overexaggertion, stemming from his own internilzed racism (or speciesism? I guess?) , which lead many others to not want to be around him, deflecting the truth of his heritage as to not focus on his own insecurities like a shield to an attack, no matter who its from, in a way.

Now that he has begun to bond and not be as rude to the rest of the non fae cast however, he ends up passing out? Like how a shield seemingly has no use if its not defending, unless you get real creative with it (Its Reyn time I mean who said that)

Silver balances this out as truth, as he is someone we see is honest to almost no fault. His UM also shows truth, in its own way, by showing the truth of the desires of those around him. However, a truth has also been held directly from him, aka the truth of his birth, and the undeniable truth that to break the curse upon him, Lilia did have to truly love him, even as the child of his friends killer.

So he is both benefited and harmed by truth, just like how the same sword can both protect and kill, it just depends on who wields it.

Anyway, back to the point at hand, Now that Malleus seemingly has the time to go and pull a FNAF 4 at Idias door, the odds are Lilia may have somehow gotten caught or restrained (like Phillip is) for enough time to have Malleus notice the Shrouds are pulling shenanigans on his private dream servers and feel the need to go confirm this.

The way in the movie the Three Good Fairies are caught hiding Aurora by Maleficent in the first place is by getting too cocky on the day before Aurora’s B-day and using magic like crazy, fixing up and making their “gifts” much better, as they didn’t know how to create them without magic.

These gifts? A Cake by the GREEN fairy, the calmest and most mature of the three: Fauna, and a Dress, which the RED AND BLUE FAIRIES Merryweather (the most rebellious yet sensical) and Flora (the leader, most work focused and overconfident) keep fighting over which color it should be, Pink or Blue.

(I rewatched their scenes and I forgot how much of a fucking MVP Merryweather was, everyone else turning things into rainbows, bubbles and flowers while my girl was out here burning chains, hunting down snitches, turning her mfking ops to stone and had to be physically held back from throwing hands with Maleficent by herself, god bless this tiny blue diva)

Fauna can obviously be placed as Trey here. Calmest, a Cake, Green. Done.

You can combine Flora and Merryweather into the two sides of Riddles Dream, the first being very punk yet sensical lifestyle, the blue, bringing in the sadness of what he desired yet cannot have, and the second half being Flora, the extremes of overconfident and tyrannical leadership, the red of rage, to say.

Red and Blue obv equal Purple, Che’nyas signature color, probably because purple isn’t actually a fucking color. I’m not going to explain the history of purple, but there is not such thing as purple in science, only shades of violet.

Speaking of Pomfieore, the first non dia dreamer group we see, is VIOLET. I said it. (Octavielle is Lavender, so no, not directly purple) Bright Red is Heartstabyl. (Scarabia is Maroon, which is a shade of red, but again, not directly bright red)

Now what I’m going on about here is this: If In the dreams, each dreamers NPC versions of their friends strictly abides by what the dreamer desires them to, how did dream Che’nya not only transfer to both parts of Riddles dream, but also go directly AGAINST the dream and the dreamer?

The dream versions of the others cannot, under any circumstances, break the character the dreamer creates without breaking the dream itself.

We see this in Lilias dream, in Treys, and Deuces. The Senate, Cater and Ace respectively breach the line of what is and isn’t in character for them in the dreamers memory to hold the dreamer within the dream, causing their respective dreamer to wake up sheerly due to the stark contrast.

These characters will go to lengths to keep the dreamer asleep, so how is it that this dream version of Che’nya can do the exact opposite?

And in Treys dream, Che’nya is the only one not practically turned into Eric Cartman variants, which given the fact Cater, certified sweets hater, has too, means that Che’nya, certified sweets stealer, somehow dodged that bullet in Treys subconscious, which breaks the rules set by the dream.

These rules are delicate, seemingly. It takes one too out of character word, one too out of character action to knock the dreamer awake.

So either Trey sees Che’nya as having the self control of a monk (a small scene in manga implies Che’nya steals from the Clovers fridge so often Treys own damn siblings hear the fridge open and assume its him and not their own damn brother, so I doubt that he’d think that) or Che’nya can bypass these rules.

Many of the dreams would have been so much easier if they could conveniently convince the dreamers friends to go up against them for their sake or just to simply help wake them up.

Of all people, the dream version of Ace fucking Trappola actually listening to and abiding by Riddles tyranny and not jumping at the opportunity to S.O.S to Leona, Yuu and co says enough about this as is.

Anyway, what I’m saying here is that Che’nya either got his ass caught, or finally managed to hotwire himself into Silvers UM conga line, which unfortunately left Idia now in Mals notice and Silver becoming more weary from excess UM use.

Just like how the good fairies thought they’d succeeded and jumped the gun with using magic a day early, Chen could have thought that since they made it this far, their clean until further notice, and is gonna feel the hit of it later.

As my phone is dying and I want a fucking nap, this has been Blues randomass rant about Che’nya again.

I always thought the stuff Savannaclaw has around their eyes are natural markings since the fur around animal eyes often tends to be a bit darker

And since Jack still features the same markings in his loungewear while other characters don't have their make-up anymore

Oooh, that's interesting 🤔 That thought never crossed my mind!

I took a look at Jack’s Dorm Uniform look and his Relax in Room look side-by-side:

It very much looks the same, even down to the colors. When comparing to other characters’ eye looks, this is notably different. For example, Jamil and Malleus also appear to have “natural markings” in the eye area, but more likely these are just natural shadows that form due to their eye shapes.

This is a part of Yana’s art style, as you can see in the Ciel and Sebastian illustrations. You can also tell that these differ from Jack’s because the same color is consistently used around the bare eye for shading, whereas with Jack’s eyes, the shading used for crease differs from the darker color that lines the lower lid.

Jack also states in his Relax in Room vignettes that he usually does not wear makeup, so this may be an indication that what we previously thought was eye makeup is natural markings??? However, Jack’s “usual” look is his school uniform, not his dorm uniform. It’s possible that he goes without makeup for everyday, but wears makeup for when he puts on the dorm uniform.

We don’t have Leona or Ruggie’s bare faces yet (since their birthdays are in summer and spring, respectively), but comparing a few of their artworks, they do seem to still have their “makeup” (eye markings) on. We’ll have to see their Relax in Room card models to see if this theory holds!

Update: some people have pointed out that there isn’t makeup over Leona’s scar (otherwise the area of overlap would he darker). This is another point that may suggest natural markings around a beastman’s eyes, not makeup.

Interestingly, Rook—originally a student of Savanaclaw—does wear makeup, and he does it differently after transferring to Pomefiore. You can see in his Relax in Room version that he has shading around his eyes even without makeup. Then in his Pomefiore look, his eyeshadow extends to his upper lid. His Savanaclaw look has shadow only on the lower lid and follows the flick of his lashes. This mimics the “makeup” (natural markings?) of his Savanaclaw peers.

... But if that turns out to be markings that naturally appear around a beastman's eyes and NOT makeup... does that mean that Kifaji and Chenya just have those blue and purple rings around their eyes????? (I mean, I guess it's not unheard of since Idia exists and he has naturally blue lips and eye bags?? But his traits are on account of a curse, so...) Or is the blue/purple coloring makeup and they have brownish markings around their eyes if you remove the bright colors on top?

Lastly, it seems like Cheka lacks the markings we’ve bene discussing?? Though I wonder if that’s a product of his age (he’s only 5). It could be that he’ll develop those markings as he grows up.
