Caught him!

My darling boy talks to this blue mouse toy (and only this toy!) like this every night, working himself up to a full “Hello!”, but it’s nearly impossible to get on video because he gets embarrassed if he knows someone can see him 😂

I got lucky this time and managed to grab a bit of footage of him talking to his favourite you 🥰

So, I decided to do my own roleswap critters...because I had the thought of an Orange Cat Catnap and it kinda got away from me a bit.

So, here's Chatty Cat, the sweet no thoughts, head empty leader fo the critters. He does not get the brain cell often, but he doesn't let it stop him for being there for his friends.

Next is Dogtired, who is one of the only ones of the friend group that can get Chatty to calm down and is the one to make sure all of his friends gets proper rest.

Then there's Barley Hopstodon, who makes sure his friends are always eating well. His favorite food is anything peanut-flavored, but especially cookies and smoothies.

And last, but certainly not least, is Savvy Sow! She's the unofficial second leader of the group, since she holds the brain cell that Chatty can never access.

I'll get around to the other four soon, but I had these guys in mind already that I just had to draw them.

i think ppl forget that ellie is very like. passively sui*idal and has this immense weight and guilt on her shoulders for being immune and needing to be the 'savior'. i understand why ppl dislike joel but like. i saw a few ppl say he saved her on the chance that she *didnt* actually want to die, even if that chance was very slim. people dont put themselves in joels shoes on the idea that if it were someone you loved, you would do the same in a heartbeat. he was only being a father in my eyes. he didnt take away her choice, to be quite honest she didnt really have one in the first place if you think about it. dying was always kind of her cruel destiny, whether she wanted it or not.

Here we have Heidi Seek, who is always full of energy and ready to play with her friends. Her favorite games are ones that can involve all of her friends.

Next is Sally Snugglebun, a real sweetheart who loves and cares for all of her friends, always doing her best to put a smile on their faces.

Then, we have Denny Picawso, who has a keen eye for finding the beauty in the world around him, giving him endless amounts of inspiration of his art.

Finally, we have Trendycorn, who is all about fashion and helping her friends look and feel their best.

Also, a slight redesign for the first four, because I wanted to give them accessories, like these guys.
