𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐊
You think you can get away? Sorry sweetheart, not an option.
Jumping straight into this, he will kill you. Find a way to orchestrate it. Manipulate Mr. Martin somehow, set it all up. You’re coming with him. Forever.
He’s been watching you from the get go. Even before he killed you, he studies you like his life depends on it. Rhonda and Charley can ask him why he’s standing in the hallways. He’ll come up with BS excuses- they don’t deserve to know you. Not yet.
He watches your friends with contempt. He’d kill them too if it wouldn’t be so damn awkward, running into them for all eternity. Yuck! The thought makes him sick.
Once your dead- he comforts you. He’s the only person to get to hold you. If anyone tries to talk to you to help you figure out what happened, he’s sending them a charming (a bit scary) smile, and saying “I’ll take over from here.”
He’s sneaking an arm around you. He makes big shows in the ghost circle when your present; pretending to care about helping you find out what killed you. Defending you from Mr. Martin or Rhonda.
He needs to be seen as your hero.
And you’ll be none the wiser.
“Wear my letterman jacket, yeah? For good luck?”
also makes you wear the necklace.
He just wants everyone to know who you belong too.
He’ll dig up CD’s in the school library for you two to have little dates. Listen to the 80’s music in a corner at night. Make you watch all his favorite original horror movies, just so he can see your innocent little face terrified. And then he can wrap an arm around you-
“Hey hey hey, I’ll protect you.”
Truly believes he’s given you everything the two of you could ever want. An eternity together.
If you don’t want to be his prom date, you don’t have the option. His eye will twitch- and with a smile, he’ll say he understands through gritted teeth.
But oh, oh, oh, poor Charley. Wally Clark is a jock- and classic one at that. His highschool bully roots will come through eventually.
He’ll have Charley pushed against a locker, threatening to kill him a second time if he doesn’t convince you to go.
You’re his girl. His only hope to find happiness in this shithole of a school.
“You- you love me, right?”
He asks, his eyes a bit too focused on his jersey number he doodled on the back of your hand.
If you say yes, he’ll practically wag his tail and put an arm around you possessivley.
If you stutter, he’ll nod with a shy laugh- a quick “i’m jus’ kidding,” muttered.
But…on the inside? He’s thinking what more he can do to worship you. To make you realize he’s your knight in shining armor, your best player.
He’s an optimist. And a patient man.
He’ll wait for you to come to your senses.

Born in the Wrong Era pt. 3
Tumblr media
a/n: it's finally here! sorry it took so long and thank you to @iluveveryone for sending your ask. i hope all y'all enjoy it!
edit: I linked pt. 2 because I forgot to last night.
warnings: shouting/screaming, flirty best friends, mentions of death/trauma, mentions of mr. martin, hitting (not a person but inanimate object(s))
word count: 2k
pt. 2
Reader’s POV
A frustrated noise leaves your mouth. You really wish you hadn't let Wally get into your head about Bea. You knew he had a point but could Bea have really been that different? Insistent, maybe but not stubborn. And it was always for the other person's good because she knew their potential. Bea was the only person in your life that actually listened to you. But this was her son. He knew her first. And in some weird way you knew Wally. You knew that he loves Bea with everything he has and then some.
"Damn it. Hey Siri?"
Siri Dings.
"How do you apologize to a ghost?"
Tuesday-Wally’s POV
“Can we change? Or do we simply live in the heart of the mulberry bush destined to return where we once started?”
As Mr. Martin started on whatever pseudo-sophical rant he was going on Wally perked up. The dead have no choice to change do they? Wally remember’s Charley going on about this movie with Cybill Shepherd and Robert Downey Jr and how her dead husband was able to  cross over after living as him. Wally knows he’s missing some details but that’s besides the point. Almost every ghost movie ever made has some plot-point that the dead have to cross over and they have to grow and all that other shit before they can cross over and start their afterlife.
Wally had been here for 40 years. That’s forty years longer than he ever wanted to be in high school. But how is he to change?
“Wally? Is there something you would like to share?”
“Huh?”
Wally didn’t even pay attention to the last five minutes of whatever Mr. Martin was spewing this morning. Now there are many pairs of expectant eyes on him.
“We’re debating whether or not people can change. Dead or Alive. I’d like to hear your thoughts Wally.”
Wally goes to open his mouth but his8 voice isn’t the one that’s heard.
“He’d have to have a brain for that.” Oh Rhonda, always quick with a jab to the ego.
“Well you should start with getting a new heart, Rhonda, because the one you have now is cold and shriveled.”
Rhonda breaks out one of her sarcastic grins. “Finally someone sees me.”
There are a couple of chuckles from the circle before Mr. Martin clears his throat.
“Wally, please continue”
Wally gets one more taunt in by squinting at Rhonda before he starts talking.
“I think when you die, you break the circle around the mudberry bush as you put it–
Wally catches Charley mouthing something out the corner of his eye but can’t make out what it was.
“And can give you the room you need to change.”
There are a couple of murmurs of agreement around the circle which made Wall feel proud of himself.
“That’s interesting Wally. But before we break the circle; why don’t we move to the center of it?”
This made Wally think. “Maybe. Thanks Mr. M.”
Mr. Martin gives Wally a tight-lipped smile that never seems to bring comfort to Wally but what’s new.
Soon the morning circle is dismissed but Wally lingers for a minute after everyone else left. Or so he thought.
“Hey Wally?”
It was Janet. Even after 40 years Wally still wasn’t used to her 60’s fashion. Her light pink gingham dress with matching ballet flats and white gloves on her hands. Compared to the others in the group it was a silent rebellion that was all Janet’s. Which is pretty rad if you ask Wally.
“Hey Janet what’s up?”
“I was wondering; what was on your mind earlier? You don’t really space out like that.”
Wally hesitated. “Uhh.. I was tired from… working out earlier.” Wally barely believed himself.
Janet’s furrowed brows had him coming up with another lie in seconds. Before he could though; Mr8. Martin called Janet away.
Before Janet left the gym she turned and waved goodbye. “We’ll talk later Wally!”
Wally returns the wave and once Janet and Mr. Martin are out of sight, Wally lets out a sigh of relief.
“Hey Wally you okay?”
It was Charley this time, luckily Wally is able to keep his shock to a minimum.
“Yeah, it’s just sometimes the morning circle makes me want to…”
Charley interjects. “Die all over again?”
Wally snaps his fingers and points. “Yeah! I mean I know he just wants to help but Jeez sometimes it’s agonizing.”
Charley laughs. “Well, Hippie dude has a sub and they’re watching a movie. Wanna come?”
Wally pretends to think about it. “Is it Rudy?”
Charley sighs in defeat. “I don’t know what movie it is but I’m almost 100% sure an AP Lit Class will not watch “Rudy”.”
“Where is there “enjambment” in “Finding Nemo”, Charley?”
“Where is the ‘allusion’ in ‘Rudy’, Wally?”
“What are you talking about, all Rudy does is dream!”
Charley pinches the bridge of his nose. “Allusion not ILLusion!”
“You’re literally saying the same word.”
“I- you know what? Sure. Anyway if you get tired of working out you know where I’ll be.”
Charley walks off, leaving Wally alone with his thoughts. He needs to find some answers. And there’s only one person who can give him that.
Reader’s POV
There’s a sense of comfort you feel when “Bad Reputation” flows through your ears. You wish you were more like her. Letting things roll off your back and not listening to what others say. You feel for Wally, you do. You’re not going to agree with your parents about everything but to insinuate that they don’t care? Ridiculous. Wally’s feelings are still valid though. Eye twitch inducing but valid nonetheless. You don’t know how to summon him (and you’re not sure you want to know?) but when you see him you’ll apologize for being impudent. You’re snapped out of your thoughts when “Fat Bottomed Girls” starts to play and your eyes widen. It’s not Queen that shocks you so much as this may 8be a clue as to what his type is. Not that it matters. Not that you care.
The next thing you know there’s a giant pair of hands waving in your face, luckily they’re attached to your good friend Jacques. You take off your headphones so you can hear him.
“Hey Jaques.”
“Hey dorkalicious!” You chuckle. “Where were you yesterday?”
“Just getting tickets to Horror Con.”
You stop in your tracks. “You’re joking.”
Jacque fights a smile as he shakes his head. “Waited in line all day for these. I can’t wait to go next week.”
“Wait tickets? As in, plural?”
“I’m pretty sure “tickets” means more than one ticket.”
You have to jump a little bit to properly hug him because he’s so damn tall but you can’t contain your happiness.
While horror isn’t your biggest interest you’re utterly obsessed with the cinematography of it all. Plus dressing up has always been a favorite pastime.
“Merci mon cher ami!”
Jacques blushes. “Alright, alright get down before you start licking my face dork. And stop speaking to me in french, it shifts my beret.”
You laugh as you pull away from him. “Oh shut up you’re like a quarter french.”
“My name makes it half.”
Before you can continue to call him on his bullshit, the bell for class rings and you have to go to third period which is Mr. Anderson’s class.
“Oh Jacq, do we have a sub in Anderson’s class?”
“How’d you know?”
“ I didn’t. I was hoping for it though. I had a weird interaction with Anderson outside of class.”
“Is it because you guys argued about which decade was best again?”
“It’s not my fault we had better movies! Plus peak television. I’m still looking for who shot JR. And there was history made when Alexis called Krystle a bitch. The first time it was ever said on primetime TV.”
Jacques sighs, filled with regret. “Why did I even ask? Look for whatever happened, I’m glad you can avoid addressing it for another 24 hours. Just like I will do to you if you don’t shut up.”
“Like you could go that long without talking to your personal musipedia.”
“They have this thing called shazam.”
“Yeah but I’m cuter.”
Jacques ruffles pats your head. “Yes you are. Now go make me proud okay?” You smile at him “C+ it is.”
Jacques dabs fake tears from his eyes. “I’ve never been more proud.”
“Do I want to know?” It’s Ms. Fields. You and Jacques' favorite teacher.
You answer. “It’s best if you don’t.”
She nods her head. “Good to know. C’mon Jacques, today we’re going over the war of 1812.”
“So nap time?”
You slightly shove him into the class which makes Ms. Fields chuckle.
“Be good.”
“Bite me.”
You roll your eyes. “I’m sorry about him. I’ll catch you later Ms. Fields.”
“I’ll see you in class, hon.”
You nod and keep making your way to class. You decide to switch out Wally’s tape with your own. You love Wally’s taste but the music definitely got better later in the decade. Which is why when you hear “Raspberry Beret” You smile.
You walk into mr. Anderson's class still smiling, causing everyone to look at you. Including the dead.
You quickly make your way to your seat. You wait a couple of moments and are shocked when you don’t see Wally at your desk. You turn your head and your brows can’t help but furrow when you don’t see him.
You’re slightly disappointed but you figure he’ll come around when he’s ready.
Wally’s POV
They still make walkmans? No, they still have cassette tapes? Wally only half circles Retro as to not draw attention. He sees the walkman hanging on the waist of their jeans, and gently pulls it up. As he inspects the walkman he can tell it looks a little worn; like they bought it from a secondhand store.
Then he sees It. “W.Clark” written in black sharpie.
He drops the walkman but catches it last minute, so as not to break it. There’s too much going on in Wally’s brain to process what any of this means.
Wally takes the walkman and storms out of the classroom. He puts the headphones on his head only to hear “Never Gonna Give You Up” which is the icing on the cake to his frustration.
He knows you and Bea are close but that close? Wally knows it’s been 40 years but it still feels like yesterday. That tackle. It was so fast Wally barely felt the weight of the Behemoth that ended his life. It doesn’t mean it stung any less. His moms last words to him.
“Make me proud”
It comes flooding back at the memory. That anger, the exhaustion and defeat.
Letting these emotions consume him, with a scream Wally’s fist connects with a locker. And again. And again. He eventually has enough and has his forearms resting on the lockers while he catches his breath. Somehow, while his head is hanging low, his headphones catch his ear just in time to hear the beginning of “Deacon Blues”.
He chuckles. “The kid’s got taste.”
“Of course I do. And who are you calling Kid?”
Wally’s head turns in Retro’s direction. “Shouldn’t you be in class?”
“I had to take a leak. The bigger question is, how the hell are you able to listen to my music?”
“I can interact with the physical world but I don’t make an impact on it. So I can listen to your surprisingly good mixtape but I can’t skip a song I don’t like.”
Retro’s eyebrows furrow. “That doesn’t make sense. I mean have you tried with the walkman? It is yours afterall.”
Wally shakes his head with a chuckle. “I don’t think it’s going to make a diff–
Wally is cut off by his own shock as deacon blues cuts to September.
“See I told you.”
If Wally could pass out he would.
“Walls, you okay? You look like you’re gonna be sick.”
“I knew it. You’re the answer.”
“To what?”
“You’re going to help me cross over.”

Random Doctor Who Facts You Might Not Know, Part 65
The TARDIS resents it when the Doctor has to borrow pieces of her mechanical equipment, such as narrow focus coils. The Doctor can feel this resentment and is uncomfortable doing this sort of thing. When he has to, it takes a lot of time and effort to get them back to a comfortable working relationship, during which time the TARDIS is unpredictable. (Novel: Psi-ence Fiction)
"Regeneration Operation" was the Master's name for his scheme to steal the Eighth Doctor's body in the TV Movie. (Short story: The Secret Diary of the Master)
After the Master's alliance with the Sea Devils went to pot, he considered finding the planet of the Clangers with the intention to forge a new alliance with them. (Short story: The Secret Diary of the Master) This means that when Colonel Trenchard told him that the Clangers were puppets for children, the Master did not believe him.
The Sixth Doctor's favorite sandwich is peanut butter, lettuce, and potato chips. (Short story: Timeshare)
Garpol was a businessman who stole buildings to fill his Heritage Center, including the Seventh Doctor's Kent House. He captured the Doctor, Benny, and Ace and forced them to act as a normal family for his exhibit, with the Doctor and Benny as Ace's parents. (Short story: Question Mark Pyjamas)
During this mess, the Seventh Doctor read Ace a bedtime story and hypnotized her to force her to sleep. He and Benny slept in the same bed. The Doctor is not good at sharing a bed at all. He had tossed around for five minutes before standing and pacing around the room while muttering in Gallifreyan. When Benny snapped and told him to come to bed, the Doctor fell into a coma-like sleep. He snored loudly and even sat up straight and shouted "But, Brigadier, the Autons are disguised as traffic cones!" And then he fell back asleep. The Doctor did indeed wear question mark patterned pyjamas. (Short story: Question Mark Pyjamas)
What Garpol was doing - collecting all sorts of houses for his Heritage Collection - is clearly illegal, but the Seventh Doctor said that "Irving" would take care of it. He was, after all, on the Board of Governors for the Braxiatel Heritage Trust. (Short story: Question Mark Pyjamas)
The Fourth Doctor once won an entire planet during a poker match against a Draconian. It was still under his ownership when the Fifth Doctor came around. (Short story: Lonely Days)
The First Doctor worked on collecting gold to make a wedding ring for Susan. (Short story: The Book of Shadows)
In an alternate timeline, Barbara and Ptolemy Lagus married and had a son named Ptolemy Philadelphus. (Short story: The Book of Shadows)
According to the Fifth Doctor, the only things that can manipulate a TARDIS are the Matrix and another TARDIS. His TARDIS has enough safeguards to prevent other TARDISes from affecting them. (Short story: Zeitgeist)
The Eighth Doctor once saved the planet Calabria lived on. Calabria became obsessed by her planet's savior and spent many years tracking him down, eventually finding him on Earth. She made contact with him over the Internet and found that the Doctor was trying to rescue his friend, Charley, from a Nigerian prison. To convince the Doctor that she actually loved him, Calabria sent the Doctor money to bail out Charley, but after she does so, the Doctor left Earth. After this, Calabria would wonder why her emails were going unanswered. (Short story: You Had Me At User Name and Password)
The Delphon find the removal of limbs to be sexually alluring. (Novel: Lucifer Rising)
The Seventh Doctor believes that he condemned untold billions to death by not killing off the Daleks at the moment of their birth when he was in his Fourth incarnation. He also believes he could have saved billions more by shooting Davros down "like a mad dog" when he had had the chance. (Novel: Lucifer Rising)
The Seventh Doctor, Ace, and Benny once held hands, and their bodies fused together. They shared a dreamlike state. This fused being was referred to as "Acedoctorbernice." (Novel: Lucifer Rising)

Jerry Dandridge[1985] With Dominant Male S/o
My Stories are meant for the much more mature audience, 18+.
Background: You are Charley's older brother, who returned home from college just in time, to meet the new...vampiric neighbor. but you not only have a past but you are also connected to one another.
Moive: Fright Night[1985]
Tumblr media
Ever since you hit puberty age, you have had, strange dreams, something of the past, classical clothing for both men and women, and instead of cars they had carriages. You dreamt of the same man--creature over and over but could never see his face, as it was always a blur. The dreams:....visions, never stopped even when you were in college.
Currently, you just returned home, greeting your stepmother, welcoming you, obviously, you were adopted, you looked nothing like her, she always said you had a type of 'allure' that was clearly different from others and herself.
"I'm so glad, to see you home! Come, lease, your old room is still intact, I haven't touched anything promise, only a little cleaning!" Judith: Your stepmother declared, tugging your tall frame forward and up the stairs, currently it was brightly lit outside, and you knew Charley was most likely at school.
Entering your large room was like a wave of nostalgia hitting you, there were classic horror movie posters plastered on the walls, and some of your drawings, primarily based off of your visions/dreams, but held more of a gothic texture to them instead of just plain old-century. You remember wanting it to at least fit in, and not wanting to hear your mothers questioning on why it didn't match the rest of your interests.
Slowly you turned to look at your stepmother lost in thought while looking at you, "What?" You asked, brushing your cold hand against the back of your neck bashfully, "Nothing, it's just, then you were so scrawny and young, but now look at you! My boy has turned into a man!" She was gushing with pride as she swiftly hugged out.
"Now, honey, you get some rest, dinner will be done later tonight, Charley is going to be static to see you again!" She gave you a kiss on the cheek, having to stand on her tippy toes to reach you, before she gave you one last smile and turned around, shutting your room door gently.
Setting down your suitcase, which didn't hold much in it, you take a seat on your old bed, which was sturdy and still as comfortable as when you were younger....you could only assume your mother and Charley had replaced the mattress.
Slowly without even tucking yourself in, you fell asleep quickly, the restless flight having delayed your long-deserved sleep.
<<<>>>><<<<<>>>>><<>>>>
You slowly awoke with a groan after hearing a loud thump coming from outside, slowly you groggily stand up, letting your eyes adjust to the darkness as you look out your window, and see a normal-looking man, and then an enticing one with a red scarf, carrying what seems to be a coffin.
Your mouth parts slowly, while, quickly shutting your blinds, after he nearly glanced your way. You didn't even realize you were holding your breath until you let out a huff of air
Exiting your room is what you did, Charley your step-brother, who, you basically always got along with other than the random brotherly fights.
Suddenly as you made your way toward Charley's room, you saw a short-haired girl rush passed you, glancing at you before rushing as she hurriedly put her jacket on.
Charley followed after, quick to stop once seeing his brother, "Holy crap!--[Name]!" Charley swiftly hugged you, as you both looked at each other, awe at how much you had changed.
Your brother had told you, that he had to go after his girlfriend, then would catch up with you later....Which you both did, or the past weeks.
<<<>>>><<<<<>>>>><<>>>>
Over the weeks, your mind had wandered to the strange neighbor who always seemed to come around at night. You had to admit, you were indeed creeping on him, through your window, but had no idea Charley was doing the same thing but has seen many different things than you did....more horrid things.
"You don't fucking understand!---He's a vampire [Name]! A fucking vampire!" Charley ushered out, pasting around his room, with fearful swear to drip down his forehead. Even though Charley sounded crazy...you believed him, by the simple fact of little details, the coffin, blood stains on his face. "Jerry... Dandridge--a vampire?" You murmured, Charley suddenly jumping over and handing you a cross necklace.
After a while, you had tried to calm Charley down, admitting you did indeed believe him, to distract the both of you, you decided to play some classic slasher films.
"CHARLEY, [NAME]! Come down! I want you both to meet somebody!" The muffled voice of Judith from downstairs called out, to both of her sons.
Charley rolled his eyes, pausing the film, as you got up from his bed, both of you heading downstairs, Charley letting out a low-tune whistle while doing so, clearly in a better mood after distracting his mind from the vampiric neighbor. Unlike Charley, your movements were slightly sluggish, as you let out a yawn. Charley was wearing a white button-up long-sleeve shirt, tucked into some jeans with a belt.
You were rather the opposite, With a black button-up long sleeve, with some of your buttons loose, then you had dark grey dress pants with a black belt.
After you had both made it down, you saw Judith Standing with a wide smile on her face, "Charley, [Name], this is our next-door neighbor, Jerry Dandridge." Judith spoke, causing both you and Charley to freeze, eyes roaming across the sitting vampire.
"Hello, Charley," Jerry spoke, leaning out of the large seat which covered his view, of Charley---and--oh...who was this?: Taking a closer look Jerry, visibly froze, before turning to a wide smile, even wider than the one he had given Charley. "Andd--what was it..." Jerry paused pursing his lips while shaking his head; as if he recalled some type of memorable scene. "[Name]..." Jerry slowly uttered with a low humming tone in his voice and a hint hit a sultry.
Swiftly Jerry stood up, walking to Charley and you while holding out his hand, Judith was about to say something for not taking Jerrys hand. But you unexpectedly grabbed Jerry's hand, staring right into his eyes. You were the first to pull your hand away, not Expecting Jerry to try and hold on longer; subtly of course, after realizing where he was, he let go of your hand and stared at you for a bit.
For some strange reason as you made contact with Jerry, you felt a strange pang in your chest, but you simply had mistaken it for your sheer attraction to the vampire.
"What's he doing here." Charley tried to mask his fear by avoiding eye contact with Jerry, "I invited him over for a drink." Judith answered back with a smile. "What.." Charley murmured breathlessly.
Before they could say anything else, you felt rather lightheaded when staring at Jerry for too long, as if a string of memories were trying to pour in at the same exact time, but failed because of the overwhelmingness of it all.
"Fuck." You huffed out, grunting in pain, as you nearly tripped over your feet, but regained your balance. "I need to go lie down." You struggled, seeing the amused look on Jerry's face.
"Oh--alright, I'll get you a glass of cold water, and food! You haven't eaten since you got here---oh I'm so sorry Jerry..." Judith spoke, both her eyes and Jerry watch as you stumble back up the stairs and out of their view.
<<<>>>><<<<<>>>>><<>>>>
When you made it back to your room, you just laid in bed without shutting your eyes as you stared at the ceiling, trying as much as possible to ignore the flashes of vision overcoming you. In every single vision Jerry fucking Dandridge was in them, 'the man of your dreams,' it made you scowl out in laughter at the thought...simple disbelief.
A couple hours had gone by, and as your mind had finally calmed itself with the rapid, visions, you assumed, Charley and Judith were already in bed.
What you didn't expect was for a figure to be inside your room, suddenly you shot up from your bed, sitting down instead of simply laying. "Jerry?" You asked slowly, as his frame came further into view, the moonlight striking his features carefully, in a blink of an eye, he was at your bedside, leaning down and sniffing. "You must forgive me, if I had known you were here sooner, I wouldn't have wasted so much time, teasing that little--Charley fellow...~" Jerry purred out, setting his palms on your bed as he crawled forward.
You watched Jerry's seductive gaze settle on you, his lips slowly connecting to your own. But you quickly and surely take control, griping your hand through his black curls and messing up his neatly done hair
Both of you devour each other's lips ferociously. "Jerry," You whisper into his ear while pulling on his waist, and leaving sloppy kisses down his neck. "Yesss~~" Jerry's voice slightly slurred with a sultry gaze. "I remember you." You uttered biting into his neck gently to leave your own mark on the vampire, however, you were sure it wouldn't stay.
"Good," Jerry responded, his head pulling away and tilting his head to look at you, his thumb trails upon your bottom lip parting your mouth slightly as he stared, almost as if he was making sure this wasn't a dream.
A low humming tune erupted from his throat with a wide smile on his face as he planted his head on your chest, listening to your beating heart, "My love....oh how I've missed you, my sweet mate." He purred out, gripping tighter

Movie Night|Wally Clark
FemReader x Nicole
Warnings: Death and jealousy
Summary: Wally’s been spending too much time Maddie for his girlfriend’s liking and it becomes too much during movie night.
“I mean guys! He’s literally drooling all over her like a crippled dying puppy!” I complain to Rhonda and Charley
“What does the puppy have to be crippled and dying?” Charley wondered “that’s besides the point”
“I don’t care but, maybe you should talk to him, or whatever” Rhonda enjoyed her lollipop, half listening to me
“She’s right and Wally is just helping Maddie come to terms with her death” Charley reminded me “He didn’t do that to me, and I didn’t die that long ago” I argue
“Well we’re having movie night tonight so, you and Wally can spend a bunch of time together” Rhonda sarcastically speaks “I won’t be there”
“Yeah everyone’s picking a movie right now!” Charley grabs my hand and pulls me to the library
As soon as we get there I Wally and Maddie all buddy buddy on the couch. How could he act like this when I’m right here, has he no heart?
“Maybe this isn’t the right place to be” Charley tried to lead me away “No let’s stay” I oblige
“Are we gonna look for a movie or are you gonna watch Wally the whole time” Charley asks “Here’s a movie, Aladdin!” I held a movie in my hand
I wasn’t even sure what it was because I wasn’t looking at anything but my boyfriend and his new friend.
“That’s The Princess and The Frog” Charley corrected “Even better!” I finally look away “Mr. Martin we’re The Princess and The Frog” I inform as the man silently agrees
“I’m already dead so why does it feel like I’m dying all over again” My face falls into my hands “It might be because he’s laughing at her jokes right now”
Night finally comes and Mr. Martin sets up the projector and plays the movie. “Come with me to get snacks” I ask Rhonda “Why? You know I always ditch movie night” She attempts to decline the offer
“Come on!” I scoff “Jeez, you’re so snippy lately” Rhonda says as she follows me to the teachers lounge
Rhonda attempts to make small talk once we make it to the teachers lounge. “So…excited to spend time with your boy toy?” She emptied a back of chips into a bowl “Totally!” I get the drinks
We make our way back to the gym and the sight makes my heart stop…again. There’s Wally staring into her eyes and moving a piece of hair out of her face. I drop the drinks and walk out of the room.
No one to comfort me whilst I cried except the hallway walls. Heartbreak hurts way more when you’re dead and I wish Maddie wasn’t dead, I wish she’d just pass on already so things could go back to how they were.
“Hey” I hear a voice that turns out to be Wally “what” I turn back around “shouldn’t you be with your new girlfriend?” I wipe my tears
“What do you mean?” He sits his body next to me “You and Maddie” I say in a duh tone “Maddie isn’t anything more than a friend” He promises
“I saw how you looked at her and touched her hair” Tears start to fall again “and you two were sitting in our spot” I added
“That’s completely my fault! I got so caught up that I forgot what’s really important, you” He set his head on my shoulder
“Oh please” I roll my eyes “I understand 15 years is a long time and that you don’t wanna be together anymore” I tell him
“What? No I wanna spend the rest of my life, well…afterlife with you” Wally’s hands caressed my shoulder “Promise?” I finally look at him “Pinky promise” he held out his pinky and we shared a kiss
“Look at the love birds” Rhonda spoke sarcastically to which we giggle
Guys I haven’t posted in a while 😭that’s my fault so this is a little bad.

Merrily We Roll Along review summary Part 2
Robert Hofler, The Wrap
‘Merrily We Roll Along’ Broadway Review: Daniel Radcliffe and Jonathan Groff Lead a Riveting Revival
The troubled Stephen Sondheim musical finally finds its perfect cast
Watching the show on Broadway, I found myself concentrating less on Mendez and Radcliffe’s back-to-back screeds and drawn more to Groff, who almost singlehandedly, and in a very quiet way, makes this revival drive forward while going backward on all eight cylinders. He plays off the over-the-top performances of his two costars — who bring a sly Oliver-and-Hardy chemistry to the stage, Radcliffe being Stan to Mendez’s Ollie. Mendez entertains us with her nasty one-liners and Radcliffe stops the show with his powerful, yet nuanced rendition of “Franklin Shepard, Inc.”
Charley and Mary are telling us in no uncertain terms that Franklin is a major sell-out, but Groff doesn’t play him as a jerk. Instead, he makes the character the quiet eye of the hurricane of resentment (justified or not) swirling around him. For the first time ever, I actually felt the need to protect the guy from his two best friends. After all, there are much, much worse things in life than ending up a successful Hollywood producer of shlock movies. Franklin never sexually harasses anyone, uses the wrong pronoun or votes Republican. By today’s standards, he’d be a pillar of virtue in the film community.
Groff’s portrayal of this unsympathetic character (until well into the second act) recalls the equally inspired casting of Jim Parsons as the bitchy Michael in the first Broadway production of “The Boys in the Band.” Groff and Parsons’ innate likeability gives each actor more than a few minutes of stage time to take an audience by the hand and lead us on their respective character’s journey.
Given a choice to see a show called “Musical Husbands” and “Take a Left,” I’d buy a ticket to “Musical Husbands.” Better yet, I recommend getting a ticket to see this wonderful “Merrily” revival and buy another the following week to enjoy it even more the second time.
Patrick Ryan, USA Today
More than 40 years after notoriously flopping on Broadway, “Merrily We Roll Along” is back with a splendid and shattering revival at the Hudson Theatre starring Jonathan Groff, Lindsay Mendez and Daniel Radcliffe.
Groff, who last appeared on Broadway in the original cast of “Hamilton,” has never been better than he is here, imbuing a tricky character with tearful sincerity and charm.
"It's our time, breathe it in," Frank sings at the end of the show, as he readies to take on the world with Charley and Mary by his side. The same could be said of "Merrily," which four decades later, finally feels right on time.
David Gordon, What’s On Stage
Sitting comfortably in the Hudson Theatre, this Merrily is one of those transcendent productions I’ll look back on fondly forever.
Radcliffe’s Charley is adorably filled with nervous energy, and he continues to blow the roof off the joint with “Franklin Shepard, Inc.”. Groff beautifully grounds Frank in the reality of a man who has gotten everything he wanted, only to realise that the most important things in his life have completely disappeared. Mendez lives and breathes every single emotional beat to its fullest potential, making a meal out of Furth’s sardonic quips. Watching them sing “Old Friends” transported me to a plane of musical-comedy heaven which I have not visited in a long time, and their idealistic “Our Time” is a genuine tearjerker.
Friedman’s production is a theatrical miracle, finding the heart at the center of this story of dreams, regrets, and good things going, going, gone. Somewhere, its creators are bursting with pride to see their vision fully realised, at long last.
Steven Siskin, NY Stage Review
If Mendez and Radcliffe were already perfect downtown—or perhaps even on the first day in the rehearsal room—Jonathan Groff’s Franklin Shephard has taken a different path. To say the role is difficult is an understatement; like Robert (a.k.a. Bobby baby) in the Sondheim-Furth Company, Franklin is trapped. He stands in the precise center of a crowd that his character dominates, unable to break through his walled-off personality to relate to anyone, imploring somebody—anybody—to “make me aware of being alive.” Groff brought an intriguing element to his performance last winter, not shying away from displaying a Franklin who was cold, cruel, and unlikable. He has now found a way to add a core of desperate sadness and a sense of loss, which makes him the most effective Franklin of the half-dozen I’ve seen.
The show plays like wildfire, ignited from that first blast of overture from that band. It’s a win-win, or perhaps a win-win-win-win. A win for Merrily, yes; a win for Radcliffe, Mendez, and Goff; and a win mostly for Maria Friedman, who created this production with significant success back in 2012 and—in three or four steps along the way—has continued to add layers of sheen so that it no longer plays like an excellent production of a troubled musical but an excellent show all around.
Melissa Rose Bernardo, NY Stage Review
Thankfully, Friedman has found three actors whose charm and genuine connection overrides their characters’ most unpalatable qualities. And since the NYTW production, their performances have only deepened. Groff (Spring Awakening, Hamilton) is perfection as the successful but hollow composer-turned-corporation Frank

31, 37, 49?
31 - Favourite episode ever?
Ooh hmm... I don't think I actually have one specific episode tbh. Thin Ice is definately one of them though, and The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang. In terms of comfort episodes however its the (not objectively good, and ik a lot of people aren't a fan) In the Forest of the Night and The Tsuranga Convention. Oh and the Rings of Ahkaten is always so lovely too.
37 - Episode that will always make you cry?
None of them, actually. I am a big crier, especially with media, on the first time round, however Doctor Who is so familiar that its sort of run dry in that regard. The only series that seems to make me cry even on rewatch after rewatch is Call the Midwife I think.
49 - How much of Classic Who have you seen?
Funny thing is, I had a conversation with some people in the flat below like two days ago about this. Its... patchy to say the least so I'll list by doctor:
1: The first episode of An Unearthly Child, as well as part of The Dalekss
3: The first part of his first serial, then some of the one with the master and the floating Timelord
4: Quite a bit, mainly for Romana purposes. Still don't think I have watched an entire serial of his. Also watched most of the one with Sutekh for context for the most recent series.
7: Most of 7 and Ace's run. Seven is definitely my favourite of the classic who doctors.
8: Is 8 a classic doctor? Who knows! If so, I have watched the tv movie, as well as starting his audios with Charley

"For Charley."
Original Character(s): Santiago Springs, Charley Rich
Summary: Santiago sees his boyfriends room for the first time.
Rating: Mature; heavily implied non-con, age gap, dom/sub (kinda)
Word count: 811
Type: canon/dabble/in-between
May 11, 1962.
“Charley, are you sure this is allowed?” After three months of being with his boyfriend, Santiago was excited—but nervous—to finally see his home. It was much bigger and more comfortable than his own, furnished with leather couches and family photos galore. And his room. His breath was practically knocked out of his lungs and he laid eyes on a queen-sized bed, a blue plaid comforter neatly tucked in, and puffy pillows on top. It looked like heaven.
“Of course not, Sandy!” Charley replied with a perfect grin. He flicked on the lights, a baseball trophy reflecting into the other's eye, who promptly squinted. “This is our little secret, got it? Which means no one can know.”
Santiago nodded, only feeling a little bit at ease. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust the 17-year-old, it was just all so different for him. As his first boyfriend, Charley was responsible for taking care of him and being gentle with him. Right?
He couldn't help but ask, "What are we going to do here?" He noticed the posters, the figurines, and the big cable TV Santiago was itching to try out; he'd never seen one before, at least not without a glass barrier between them. He made himself comfortable on the edge of Charley's bed.
“We could play a game, watch TV…”
“Watch TV!” Santiago interrupted quickly, but Charley kept talking.
“Raid the pantry, sneak into my parents room, or…” His gaze flicked up to the boy with a smirk, sitting next to him.
“Or?” “Do you know what boyfriends do?”
Santiago shook his head.
“Let’s try again,” he clicked his tongue, leaning closer with a hand pressed against his chest. “Have you ever kissed anyone before, Sandy?”
Heat crawled up his neck, throat bobbing from nerves. Of course, that’s what he wanted to do. Of course, he wanted to do the one thing he hadn’t done, the thing he wanted to do somewhere special, with someone special. But he’d do it for Charley. “I have not.”
The other leaned forward, his other hand around his left wrist. “Would you like to?”
Santiago’s heart leaped into his throat, getting stuck between his tonsils. He had stayed up imagining how his first kiss would go so many times; on a park bench, under a cherry blossom tree, on Valentine’s Day, with The One. But, a random Wednesday night in the bedroom of a boy a couple of months from adulthood would do. Before he could object, their lips were suddenly crushed together, his back hitting the bed. It wasn’t how he’d imagined his first kiss to be: sweet, romantic, under a blossom tree. Instead, it was under a luminescent lamp in a room that was beginning to spin.
“Charley—” his breath hitched as his hips were suddenly straddled, hands tracing down his sides languidly. He could feel the man’s excitement against his stomach, open-mouthed kisses against his neck.
“Don’t you want this?” he cooed, hips rolling forward. A shuddering gasp escaped Santiago’s lips, and Charley grinned. “Oh, you do? Naughty boy.”
“Please, slow down, Charley,” he whimpered, pushing against the chest of the other. That seemed to encourage him. Hands snook under his shirt, pushing it up and feeling against his smooth skin. There was only the slightest evidence of a happy trail, and Charley loved it. So precious, so naïve. It’s a wonder the boy’s mother never told him to stay away.
Santiago, meanwhile, was desperately trying to squirm away from his touches.
This isn’t how it was supposed to go. This isn’t how it was supposed to go. “This isn’t how it was supposed to go,” he found his lips moving in time with his thoughts, his voice coming out as a choked sob.
“Shh-shh,” he purred, nosing his cheek. “I’ll take good care of you.”
“Can we watch a movie?” a pathetic attempt at bargaining, “Doctor Dolittle? I can grab my copy from home—” A sharp nip to his throat shut him up. A tug on his pants made his lip quiver. A particular hard roll of Charley’s hips made his eyes squeeze shut.
“Look at me, Sandy. Keep those eyes on me,” he instructed. Santiago obeyed with a gulp. Those puppy eyes could get him out of anything, but clearly not this, he realized
A searing grin split his face. “What a good boy you are,” a cupped his cheek, thumbing the plump flesh all too gently. All too affectionately. It was beginning to mess with his head. On one hand, he was touching him oh-so-good, but on the other, it didn’t feel right. Another kiss was pressed to his mouth, his shorts being slipped from his legs. Somewhere in between, Charley had removed his own pants, the uncomfortable heat of him making Santiago shiver.
In the end, Santiago concluded one thing: this was happening.
So he’d let it happen.
For Charley.

'After six very long years of waiting, Andrew Haigh is finally back with a film that has charmed critics. All of Us Strangers , loosely based on the novel Strangers by Yamada Taichi (1987), already adapted for the big screen by Nobuhiko Obayashi in the 1988 film The Discarnates, surprisingly preferred to show itself at the Telluride Film Festival and not at the Venice International Film Festival of Venice, as happened in 2017 with the previous Charley Thompson , making many shout "masterpiece".
The protagonists of the film are the very popular Paul Mescal , nominated for an Oscar at the beginning of 2023 thanks to the splendid Aftersun, and Andrew Scott of Fleabag, an openly gay actor. All Of Us Strangers follows screenwriter Adam who on an ordinary night in his half-empty building in modern-day London has a chance encounter with his mysterious neighbor Harry. As Adam and Harry grow closer, the former returns to his childhood home and discovers that his long-dead parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell) are both alive and appear to be the same age as the day they died in their 30s now I am.
On RottenTomatoes All of Us Strangers has received 100% positive reviews.
“ Older viewers might rush headlong into the film's despondency, finding comfort, even catharsis, in its haunting pain. It is difficult work, extremely emotional but cold ,” wrote Vanity Fair.
“ This is Scott's movie. His performance is smart and quietly moving, and he deserves meatier leading roles like this ,” the Times added.
“ A sublime masterpiece. A reflection on grief and love, Haigh's touching and understated ghost story is one of the best films of the year ,” said The Wrap.
“ Prepare to be destroyed ,” remarked the Hollywood Reporter.
“ All of Us Strangers” is therapy for the audience, or at least for that specific segment of us who desperately need to hear our fathers say, “I'm sorry I never came into your room when you were crying, ” he said. commented Variety.
“ It's a ghost story, but it's also a love story. A story that will break your heart ,” wrote Little White Lies.
“ A lush, sad and sensual gay love story, propelled by a killer combination of '80s queer pop and a pair of devastating performances from Scott and Mescal ,” applauded Screen International.
“ A hugely satisfying and immersive experience ,” added The Guardian.
“ Haigh, whose approach has never been more effective than here, always makes sure to leave space in the frame to allow us to bring our grief to the table, whatever form it may take ,” concluded Indiewire.
50-year-old openly gay English director, Andrew Haigh exploded in 2011 thanks to the wonderful Weekend , then followed by 45 Years , Silver Bear for best female and male performance at the 2015 Berlin Film Festival, and Charley Thompson, in Competition in Venice 2017. He produced and partly directed the HBO series Looking , which concluded after only two seasons and was later made into a TV film directed by Heigh himself in 2016...'

@dreaming-for-an-escape
Stephen King wrote some incredible masterpieces so I can't blame you. Yes to the cold leftover pizza! Be rich...okay ME! XD
2) I do. But I will never go on drop tower types of rollercoasters. I went on one once and never again. I was 16 years old when I went on it and I legit cried, because I felt like I couldn't breathe. I was so embarrassed.
4) Lord of the Flies by William Golding is one of my favorite books. We had to read it in high school and I absolutely fell in love with it. It was so dark at times and it truly raised some interesting questions.
7) I mean, while I am pessimist, it does tug on my heartstrings a little bit when I see couples being all lovey dovey. And when they're elderly, oh man, that's really fucking cute. But when people go overboard with PDA I'm over it. Like sir, this is Wendy's. I love love, but come on. Let's tone it down a notch.
8) I have a childhood teddy bear of mine near my bed, but I don't always cuddle with it. But when I'm having a bad or a stressful day, I immediately reach out for him and sleep with him in my arms.
10) Oh man. That's really tough. I always wanted to reach the top of a mountain because that's such a cool accomplishment, but stargazing out of town sounds so lovely.
13) While I like seeing bright colors, I tend to go for more safe neutral tones because it's just so easy to work with them. Maybe one day I will be more bold and embrace more colors. It's just really difficult because I don't know which color palette I suit the most.
18) I don't really have a type IRL. I always think I do, but then I realize it's not really the case. Like I definitely had my moments where I considered someone physically attractive, I would sneak glances at them for a week or two and eventually when the 'fate' decided that we would be introduced to one another, they would open their mouth and after two minutes I would think to myself: "Oh...uhhhh...you are not who I envisioned in my head at all. We have nothing in common and frankly speaking you sound really douchey." and the bubble just bursts. I know it sounds really cheesy, but physical attractiveness fades the second I speak to someone. If the conversation doesn't gel I'm over it. XD
26) Weirdly enough I did. I didn't particularly enjoy middle school, because I was the 'new kid' in a totally different country, which added to my anxiety and stress. But once I entered high school everything was so much more chill.
34) Yes. XD Like I can literally pass someone in the corridor and I will jump out of my skin. But I always laugh in the end.
35) Oooooh. Hmmmm. Let me think. I mean Melissa Barrera is a total babe. Naturally Ewan Mitchell because he comes in a pack with Melissa. Jakub Gierszał (he plays such an incredible antagonist in the TV series Chyłka), Victoria Pederetti our impulsive psycho girl and lets throw Richard Madden in there because it would be a sin not to have him on this list. As you can see...I don't have a specific type. XD
39) When someone rubs my back in a circle to comfort me. Like, I will legit cry. I immediately think to that one scene in Anne With an E where Anne gets her first period and Marilla doesn't know how to comfort her. The words of reassurance clearly don't work, so instead she starts rubbing her back. :')
65) Depends on the time of day and what I'm doing. If I'm just chilling on my computer and I need background noise I tend to listen to some podcasts that were uploaded on YouTube. I love watching some good old movie/TV series reactions. But when I'm going to bed I tend to listen to raw interrogations where we see an actual footage of people being interrogated for some serious shit (typically murder) and the narrator from time to time breaks down the tactics that the interrogators are using on the suspects. I tend to pass out after 10 minutes. Is it a little bit concerning that such videos comfort me? XD
90) I love me some The Charley Davidson book series. Stalking Jack the Ripper is also such a classic. The love interests have such great chemistry and are genuinely so fun to read.
