Where: Park
Who: Wes & Winnie @thirtecnth
He had been working outside in the commune garden and snuck in a few flowers to take to the park. Would he get in trouble for that, probably. It was for a good reason! He was meeting up with Winnie, and since the event at the ballroom, her safety mattered to him. He wanted to do something nice, and why not give her flowers? as he approached the designated area where he asked her to meet him. He jogged over carrying the flowers behind his back. "Winnie!" he stated with a small smile, and boy when she looked at him. He swooned so badly that he almost missed a step. "Hi. you look---" he felt his throat dry, trying to find the words. "lovely."

David Tennant pissing off the Prime Minister bc he told government officials to stfu over their anti-trans bigotry and Michael Sheen literally poisoning himself investigating corporations dumping toxic chemicals in underprivileged areas is NOT the energy I expected from 2024 but oh man am I here for it.

I wish we had more female characters like Eleanor Shellstrop. One of the most unlikable people you've ever met. Read a Buzzfeed article on most rude things you can do on a daily basis and decided to use that as a list of goals. Makes everyone's day worse just by being there. Dropped a margarita mix on the ground and tried to pick it up, only to get hit by a row of shopping carts which pushed her into the road where she was hit by a boner pill delivery truck, killing her instantly. Cannot keep a romantic partner despite being bisexual. Had a terrible childhood but will die before she gets therapy. Best employee at a scam company. Just the worst but also can't help but root for her to improve.
Absolute loser. Girl-failure. Bad at almost everything. Literally perfect female character.

not now sweetie, mommy is watching how the massive girlbossification of female characters has led to the belief that weak and vulnerable female characters are badly written characters because apparently every woman needs to be outspoken and witty and snarky and brave in order to be considered “complex” and have any value in a piece of media!!

will never understand the misogynistic inclination to pigeonhole every female character into the "exasperated sensible mom friend" role as if there's anything better than a woman so devoid of maternal instincts that she makes wire mother look soft. woman who rolls over and walks out onto the balcony to smoke a post-coital cigarette alone and leaves without a note or any kind of acknowledgement after sleeping with you because she can't stand the vulnerability of sleeping next to someone, or waking up beside them the following morning. woman whose idea of relaxing is abusing substances alone in a dark corner somewhere, and snarling and snapping at anyone who approaches her, regardless of intent. woman so emotionally unavailable she fails or refuses to notice that her lame ass partner is trying to push the divorce papers until they've taken the kids and left a heartfelt but scathing note pinned to the fridge. woman with more vices than genuine friends. woman whose expression stays blank and arms remain limply at her sides when you wrap her up in yours for a hug. woman without a gentle touch in her body, with nothing but rough edges and sharp angles.

Ok to be clear, this whole time what Daniel Molloy thought happened was:
He hooked up with Louis in 1973
Then listened to him rant about his ex for 8 hours
After which Louis tried to kill him
He woke up in a second location and was like wow my craziest trip yet!
He didn't hear from Louis for 50 years
Until he gets an email like hey bb sorry about the murder attempt do u wanna come to Dubai? u can interview me again i probably won't kill you :)
And he's like yeah sure
And then he still spent the whole time bullying him
Self-preservation skills at a 0. That imaginary dick must have been something else

Characters: Wes x Odette - @odette-abbott
Location: Family Video Arcade
He knew the town was probably on edge after everything that had happened at the lake. With all the chaos and tension in the air, a little sunshine, a bit of positivity, was needed. His thoughts turned to Odette; he liked checking in on her at the commune. So, he left a note asking her to meet him at the arcade, hoping she'd be up for some games. When he spotted her walking in, he smiled. "I'm glad you came," he said warmly. "How about a day of fun?" he asked, gesturing towards the arcade.

We're not appreciating the Weird Barbie enough. It's said in the movie that she helps everyone who need help while they always see her as someone who's not as good as them. She was friends with all dismissed Barbies and Kens, was there to offer support and safe shelter for everyone who needed it in Kendom, without her nothing in the movie would've been alright. When Stereotypical Barbie calls her "ugly and unwanted" she still helps her.
She was representing a woman in women's world who was pushed aside by other women because she didn't fit in but still had more wisdom and kindness than everyone who thought they're better than her.
