An AU where Starlight Glimmer and SunBurst switch roles but the circumstances stay the same, Sunburst gets his cutie mark and is forced into going to Celestias school for the gifted.

Sunburst feels overwhelming guilt for what he sees as abandoning his childhood friend, and a sense of betrayal towards his cutie mark. It was the reason he had to leave Starlight isn’t it? Wouldn’t it be better without them, then there would be no reason to abandon others. No reason to leave. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a community that was always there for each other? Because Sunburst is always going to be there for all of you, he promises.

Starlight does eventually get her cutie mark, becoming a magical researcher with a lean in historical magic. She has an interest in solving old unfinished spells. The newly crowned princess Twilight Sparkle is a huge inspiration for her due to how she ascended, solving one of Starswirls unfinished works. She’s currently working in the Crystal empire to help with looking through the books in king Sombra recently uncovered study. She’s also currently working on one of starswirls unfinished spells herself, his time travel spell. Unfinished is misleading she supposes, but she thinks she can make a work around for the time looping and short time limit that seems inherent to the spell.

In this au, the natori clan is the most powerful clan at the time and Shuuichi is the revered (by some) clan head while the matoba clan is suffering and dying out.

Bill Cypress may have unorthodox ways, but he has a kind heart and just wants to find everything out there that's WEIRD! Meanwhile, Ford Pinnacle is a vindictive smart-ass who's determined to make everyone who doubted him pay, aka... THE WHOLE UNIVERSE!

An AU where Fluttershy and Discord swap places/roles. Fluttershy being a Draconequis of subtle chaos, the flap of a butterflies wings, the little devil on your shoulder. Fluttershy is subtle, sneaky, and devious. Convincing others to create chaos for her, putting stuff in place like a large string of dominoes ready to be toppled. Isn’t it just awful how they treat you! She says. Wouldn’t you like to speak your mind? She offers. Wouldn’t it be great to show them all how it feels to be treated that way? She whispers in your ear.

She doesn’t have a definite shape, she just takes the shape of any animal she can think of. There is always something OFF about the animal she is however. A fox with too many tails. A dog with pony teeth. A bunny with a predators eyes.

Discord is a Pegasus with a flight disability. He can’t fly straight forward no matter how hard he tries. Sideways? Backwards? Upside down? Zigzag? Combinations? Sure! But just plain and simple straight forward? Absolutely not. He is childhood friends with Rainbow Dash, the two protecting each other from bullying they received from others. His talent is in magical theory with a huge interest in weather patterns and events.

Is this anything? Warrior princess Zelda. The only time Zelda is shorter than Link. Link keeps doing magic beyond what is capable of most hylians and just doesn't notice.
