I didn’t mention it here but it was based partly off a scuba diving mask and partly off a gas mask; it’s an extra level of safety when it comes to breathing underwater, and the little stick on the side enables her to create the air bubbles. And the little tusk things are to reflect the spider’s chelicerae

My spider-sona! Her name is Riley Wang and she’s based off a diving bell spider :)
