doli lin is aro and allo, or maybe aro and demi, or maybe aro and gray-ace, or maybe aro and “doesn’t really think about sex that much but does like/want it sometimes, mostly with men whom he has come to trust and whose company he enjoyed already, there are probably exceptions but it’s not something he’s had to think about that often because he’s always either been with tomi (person he loves most in the world, would never sleep with) or grieving tomi (too distracted/depressed/self-medicated to think much about expressing any kind of outward sexuality in a healthy way) so who really cares about how/when his attraction works”
meanwhile, tomi is alloromantic but just. ace as hell. full stop no nuance asexual. sex repulsed, tries not to think about it, encourages his soulmate to do whatever he wants with whoever else he wants but has a hard boundary about Not Talking About It Afterwards, Please, My Heart, I Don’t Want To Know

Second to None (Jet Set Trio Ver.)
Bring the Beat!
[Tomi:]
I'm the talk of Aoyama, where the elite reside
Champagne life, in luxury, I glide
My wealth's not quiet, it screams in splendor
In a world of silver, I'm the golden contender
Tailored suits, high-class affairs
My status alone, it's a cut above theirs
I don't walk or run, no, I stride with grace
Every step I take, I own the place
Diamonds and cars, they're just my playthings
I soar in skies that wealth unfurls its wings
My name's an echo in the halls of fame
A legacy built, not just a family name
I'm the peak of the mount, the talk of the town
In a sea of the posh, I wear the crown
You probably don't know, but I always get it done
You can check on the rep--yep, second to none
[Chorus:]
Check on the rep, second to none, yea
This how we get this done
You can check on the rep, second to none
Check on the rep, second to none, yea
This how we get this done
You can check on the rep, second to none
[Karada:]
Like the goddess, Nike, victory's my fate
In the gym's pantheon, I'm the one they celebrate
Ares in the ring, my strength's divine
Hercules reborn, Japan's fitness line
Iron I lift, so heavy, so bold
My muscles sculpted, like stories of old
I'm the titan of trainers, the colossus of might
In the arena of power, I'm the undefeated knight
My biceps roar like the Nemean lion
On Mount Olympus, I'm the iron scion
With every rep, I forge my throne
In the realm of strength, my name is known
I'm the alpha of the pack, the zenith, the sun
You think to contest me? Well, let's have some fun
But by the time you get started, I'll be already done
You can check on the rep--yep, second to none
[Chorus:]
Check on the rep, second to none, yea
This how we get this done
You can check on the rep, second to none
Check on the rep, second to none, yea
This how we get this done
You can check on the rep, second to none
[Luis:]
In the kitchen's heat, I'm the maestro, the guide
Flames dance to my will, with El Dorado's pride
Calm as a breeze, but don't test my fire
Cross me, and I'll burn you up like a funeral pyre
Sazón in my soul, I cook with amor
For abuela and amigos, it's them I adore
My dishes, a canvas, my spices are hot
Keep perfecting and cooking until its just the right spot
Chiles and flames, my temper's a flare
But with each plate, I handle with care
In the sizzle and char, my legend's begun
Each new recipe is a story that will soon be spun
For honor, for family, my skills I hone
This kitchen is where I never forfeit my throne
I'll keep holding on until the day is done
You can check on the rep--yep, second to none
[Chorus:]
Check on the rep, second to none, yea
This how we get this done
You can check on the rep, second to none
Check on the rep, second to none, yea
This how we get this done
You can check on the rep, second to none

One of the things I like the most about this specific pic is that despite still fully functional (and sentient), Arlo’s right harm has gone completely ‘space-gangrenous’. This is Arlo’s dominant hand and the arm he uses more often to channel magic. What’s ‘space’ gangrene? Basically your body is becoming “void”, this is common to happen to Valasyr who contract the rot, where instead of rotting, their matter starts desintegrating creating black cracks and black patches that seem to reflect space.
Curious fact about the twins, is that Arlo is right-handed (like his mother), while Apollo was born left-handed (like his father) though he later developed ambidextry (like his father, but he doesn’t know that) because he didn’t want to be left-handed like his dad (the whole belief that the left hand is the devil’s hand).
Curiously, Arlo’s decay is actually mirroring Mal’s own experiences with magic.
When Mal first started developing his vala and his ability to do magic, he didn’t entirely know how to channel magic, and neither did the mages and sorcerers around him understand his specific power. This resulted in, by the time Mal got to someone who could help him, Mal’s left harm was charred black and his flesh was burnt to the bone, reflecting the ‘void’.
Eventually, the royal healers decided to amputate Mal’s left harm, and which point they realized the full extent of his healing properties when he grew a new arm.
In a sense, Arlo is going through the same, but his arm, due to the magic burning through energy, is rotting faster than the rest of the body. Arlo suffers this in all his extremities, but that arm suffers more. However, much like his father, amputation won’t end it, the Eye will just make it grow back again and that hurts more than having it cut off or living with it.
Arlo, like his father, is a Warlock, an Allsage, a Valasyr. He has incredible power and like his father, his power eats through his energy and fat reserves at the speed of a high competition professional athlete. Add to that the fact Arlo is rotten and can’t eat solid food, and he’s in a constant state of undernutrition. His body is starving, both due to his power and the rot.
This is the reason why Warlocks, despite being tall and slim and even sometimes described as lanky, can punch a heavyweight wwe champion through a wall, easy. These are guys and girls that despite not looking the part because their magic just eats through their bodies, have a very strict training, develop a lot of strength and endurance just to be able to throw a fireball and whom it may concern, wiping entire battlefields.
This is why everyone tells Arlo to kill Apollo, because he is more powerful than Apollo and as strong.
Apollo, is also a warlock, but Apollo is a one track pony. He’s focused on being a hero and only doing ‘good’ magic, namely practical. Because of this, he’s purposefully hindering his own power and development. As a result, Apollo has a more butch build, add to that the fact he’s part of his college’s football team and is a professional athlete, and what he lacks in magic he has in physical prowess.
Arlo is a lot more powerful than Apollo has he has no bounds to his power. However, his sickness bites him in the ass. He’s in a constant state of pain and decay. Arlo lives in pain, but Arlo has no choice but to ‘live’. So he pushes the pain back and pushes through.
As Mal says, they don’t have any other choice but to go on.
Can Arlo die?
Yes. Arlo can die. Arlo can be killed, but to kill Arlo, you must remove Mal’s Eye from him, as long as he has that Eye, the Eye will never let him die. It’s a symbiote that needs a host. Imagine it as a piece of “Tomie”. It will survive at any cost or return to its origin.
If you think about it. Apollo wants to give Arlo a heart so he can take the Eye from him.
Think about it.

It's A Thankless Job: Part 4
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sentry left Nocturne's place after the podcast was finished, stepping out into the streets of the lower city yet again. He checked the client list he'd pulled for today, realizing he really should do some 'family business' just to keep the old man off his back now that Gary wasn't here as a buffer anymore. He rolled his eyes as he looked over the list, most were regulars, boring married people trying to escape their boring routine and try living dangerously by sleeping with someone edgy behind their partner's back. With people like that, Sentry spent most of the session dissociating while he played the role he knew they wanted, whether that was playing up his youth and conflating it with innocence, or playing up his darker side and doling out 'punishment'. He was glad Shadowheart had introduced him to her boss Abdiraak at Loviatar's Love. That guy knew how to make pain a ritual, and years in a cult made Sentry great at zoning out during rituals.
He noted with interest, however, that there was one client marked for termination, one who lived in the same building as Enver, and in fact worked for Blackhand Armaments. The Tiefling grinned widely as he made his way towards the park. “Well, looks like tonight just got a bit more interesting.”
“Ah! Sentry. Do you have a minute?” He looked up as he passed the veterinary clinic to see that impossibly tall elf waving at him from the porch. “Oh uh...yeah...” Sentry replied, looking around. He supposed he had time to spare, and besides, the guy was good looking. It wouldn't do to burn bridges by being rude. Besides, it might pay to know a medical expert who might not ask too many questions, not to mention being easy on the eyes. Halsin jogged over to him with a gentle smile. He was dressed in a simple green track suit, the material and color were slightly outdated, but that often was the case with elves. They lived so long most of their fashion choices went out of a style decades ago, well, unless they were particularly fashion focused, like Tomi...but then again, did she really even count as an elf? “Out on your nightly constitutional then? No wonder you're so fit.” Sentry chuckled. “Yes, I try to be out in the fresh air as much as I can. The city can feel so stifling, unfeeling.” Halsin explained, his expression one of discomfort. “I suppose that's why I built my practice in the park, it's as close to nature as one can be in a place like this.” Sentry nodded politely, considering the older man's words. “I get what you mean, I think it can help, though, if you look at the city as like it's own little eco system, you know? I mean, yeah, for the most part people suck but have you considered how rats thrive? Or pigeons, they've come up against it...I actually really love pigeons, do you know about them?” Halsin stifled a small, amused laugh. “Do I know about pigeons...running a veterinary practice in the city as I do?”
Sentry huffed slightly with a little pout and rolled his eyes. “That isn't what I meant, not medically.” He shook his head and took a deep breath. “So like a hundred years ago or whatever, I dunno, a long time, though, people used pigeons instead of phones or computers so they didn't waste casting energy with sendings or message spells. They raised these plucky little guys specifically to carry messages for them and they were super good at their jobs, yeah? Then, BOOM! Golden age of communication with phones and all, and these amazing little birds are out on their asses. They're hella domesticated, so they can't build their own nests, they don't really know how to hunt, and everyone bitches and moans that they're dirty and a nuisance now, but still they're thriving the best they can. I kind of love them.” Sentry admitted. He thought of his own 'purpose', the one his first Bhaalist family had tried to force him into, the reason he had left them charred and vivisected back in that dilapidated tenement fifteen years ago. Yet now, here he was, misunderstood, viewed as something dirty and maladapted, but thriving in his own way. “Was that story meant to show me the beauty in city life?” Halsin raised a brow in amusement, eyes never leaving Sentry as they walked together. “No, not exactly. Just to say that even in the shittiest of circumstances, you can't keep nature down it...”He grinned. “Uh...finds a way.” “I see....You're a strange young man, Sentry Ojeda.” Halsin replied.
The two walked together and talked a while longer, until they reached the point in the path where one could either loop into the woods to continue the jogging circuit or continue onward into the upper city. They came to a stop at the fork in the path and turned to face eachother. “Well, off to work for me!” Sentry announced with a grin. “This was kinda nice though, I wouldn't mind walking together again if you want.” “Wait, Sentry...” Halsin gently reached out and took his hand. “ I wanted to say this earlier, but it didn't feel like the right time, I didn't want to cause you any discomfort, but I know what you actually do for work.” The tiefling froze. 'Oh shit, I'm gonna have to kill him.' “Y....You do?” His tail raised and flicked warily like a nervous dog, eyes darting. “Yes, and I just wanted to tell you I would never judge you for it. There's no shame in your line of work.” The elf assured him, those kind eyes looking at him with honest acceptance. “What, really? I would have thought you'd be pretty intensely against it.” Sentry raised a brow in confusion, cocking his head to one side. “No! Of course not. Do you take me for some sort of prude? Your work is absolutely natural. Necessary, even.” Halsin reassured him softly, with a gentle pat on the back. “Well, I suppose it DOES make sense, animals do it all the time...” Sentry nodded matter of factly, body relaxing a bit. “Of course, anything necessary to survive. But more than that, there is an artistry to what you do, it's beautiful.” The elf continued with a genuine, appreciative smile. Sentry blushed a little, his face still set in that look of absolute disbelief. “Yes! Yes, I think so too! Thank you!” “Never feel less than because of your job, Sentry. Your videos, your photoshoots, they're wonderful.” Halsin gave a small chuckle and turned his head awkwardly. “Of course...now I'm sure I've made things awkward, admitting I've seen your work...it was quite by accident, honestly...” He admitted, his own face flushed a bit now. “Oh...you meant my...ha ha...” Sentry blinked. Not the murders. The sex work. Of course that was what he meant. It was so tertiary, so firmly ingrained in Sentry's mind as a simple smokescreen for his assassinations, a way to keep up appearances, that he often forgot some people considered it a taboo in and of itself. He laughed out loud, tail relaxed fully now. “Oh yeah, well, no, no, no shame in enjoying my work! Not at all! I'm flattered, just glad you're not some stuffy dick who's going to judge me about it, but you never know! That's why I'm so guarded at first with that info...you know how it goes.”
“Oh I know, trust me. One more thing that feels so unnatural about the city, people treating such normal, simple urges as something shameful and dirty.” Halsin smiled, patting Sentry on the shoulder. “I just wanted you to know that I don't judge you for it. You're a talented young man and as long as it's something that you choose to do, there's nothing wrong with it.” “Thanks, Halsin.” The tiefling grinned. “And hey, don't be shy about subscribing. I'm always glad to see my work make someone happy.” He winked as he turned and made his way into the upper city ahead of him.
Sentry made his way to the building he had been to just the night before, this time aware he looked out of place as he usually did. His black pullover hoodie had a monstrous claw wreathed in shadow on the front of it, the title of a B-movie he liked scrawled in red lettering that mimicked dripping blood. His pants were baggy with plaid belts looped around his hips and several D-rings sewn down the sides. His shoes were clunky black combat boots that, much to the disdain of the haughty elvish man at the front desk, had tracked quite a bit of mud from the park through the lobby. Sentry hummed a little tune to himself as he waited for the elevator, shifting from one foot to the other like a little rhythmless dance as his tail swished lazily back and forth behind him. The client, he recalled, was some boring lobbyist or another from the upper echelons of Blackhand Armaments, but to father and the family, he was a very naughty man several months overdue on protection payments, and therefore an example of what can happen to a person without the family's protection. The sex was guaranteed to be dull, but the aftermath, that Sentry was looking forward to with eager anticipation. When the elevator finally arrived at the proper floor, Sentry made his way to the apartment listed on the client's dossier and knocked at the door, his expression defaulting to bored and apathetic. He'd been to this client's place before, total creep. The more Sentry behaved like a teenager, the happier the guy was, particularly when Sentry seemed disinterested.
The door opened and the client couldn't hide his eager grin when he saw Sentry standing there. The guy was a fairly tall human, nothing exciting, greying brown hair, light brown eyes, pale skin lacking a skin care routine. A forgettable face in a crowd. He was still dressed in a suit and tie, a fact that made Sentry roll his eyes. The guy was in his apartment, an apartment that according to the dossier, he barely had to leave for his job, and well after most people had left work for the day. “Ah, you're here...come in, quickly.” The man ushered Sentry into the large apartment quickly, peeking around to make sure no one had seen him standing out there. “Ugh...you're so paranoid. I'm nothing if not discreet.” Sentry rolled his eyes, phone in hand now, scrolling through socials while the guy looked him over. “Can't be too careful....Mr. Gortash wouldn't be happy with me if there were a scandal, after all.” The man stammered, circling the young tiefling eagerly, so close that Sentry was pretty sure the client was trying to inhale his scent. “Whatever.” Sentry muttered, playing his part perfectly. The disinterest only spurred his client on to run his hands over Sentry's shoulders and down the neck of his hoodie, fingers exploring the ridges and scars along Sentry's chest and shoulders. “Why don't you...um...get a bit more comfortable.” the human loosened his tie a bit, taking a step back to watch. Sentry's eyes darted back to look at his client and he smirked, turning to face him as he pocketed his phone and slowly began to lift his hoodie off over his head, raising the torn band T-shirt underneath just enough to show a little of his lightly toned stomach and the slim curve of his waist. He tossed the hoodie into a corner and for a moment gave a long, lazy stretch like a contented cat, taking his time. He could see the man trembling, barely containing himself. Pathetic. Sentry turned and sauntered towards the couch, leaning back across it and popping open the button of his pants, slowly lowering the zipper and standing briefly to let them fall to the floor before neatly stepping out of them and turning to bend over the couch, now in just a simple pair of tight black cotton undies that accentuated his sculpted ass just right. His tail flicked, raising up suggestively as he posed. “Your body is amazing...p...perfect...” The man breathed, slowly approaching, tie undone now, beginning to unbutton his shirt. “Thanks, I know.” Sentry smirked as he turned around, sitting back on the couch, head tossed carelessly against the back, legs spread wide. He was the picture of relaxation, but his eyes scanned the living room, looking for something interesting to complete the job with. Of course there was the option to simply snap his neck with his thighs or choke him just a bit too long while riding him, but how boring! How cliché! No art or substance to that sort of kill, no element of risk. Father expected more from his chosen, and Sentry took greater pride in himself. Besides, it would be an insult to Gary's memory to do any less than he would have done.
Sentry was vaguely aware his client had shed the jacket of his suit and was now on his knees between the tiefling's legs, shirt open and face sweating and red as he shakily gripped the hem of Sentry's briefs and began to lower them, nose practically pressing to the fabric. He rolled his neck slowly, turning his head just a bit when his eyes fell on a tacky gold sculpture piece. Mass produced insult to art that it was, it certainly was sharp and pointy. The perfect punishment for terrible taste and enabling soulless corporate 'art' at the expense of artists themselves. There we go.
As his client, buried his face between Sentry's thighs, the tiefling pretended to arch his back in pleasure as he reached behind him, fingers brushing the absurd little statue as he pulled it towards him, finally gripping the base. He let it rest beside him on the couch, not like this guy would notice “Y...You like it when someone pays attention to that cute little cunt, don't you?” The man breathed, not even looking up from the young man's glistening slit. “Mm....you know it.” Sentry grinned, rolling his eyes. Stupid fucking creep with his terrible taste in art. He tilted his head to the side and wrinkled his nose, catching sight of the awful vapid screen printed nonsense from some shitty home décor section. This man made so much fucking money and he couldn't be assed to commission a real artist, someone who could make something great, something truly unique. Vapid. Worthless. Soulless. He felt indignation giving way to anger, bubbling up inside him. Fucking amateurs. Fucking corporate assholes making art into a commodity, cheapening it into something to be consumed rather than appreciated. “You're a work of art, kid...” The man moaned, running his hands over Sentry's thighs. “Yeah, I've seen your taste in art and that's not a fucking compliment!” Sentry snapped, pupils dilating as he grabbed the statue next to him in one swift motion, raising up the piece of sweatshop junk and flipping it in his hand, cracking his client across the temple with the marble base, blood splattering across the floor. “You wouldn't know art if it cracked your bloody skull open.” The client cried out in pain, falling to the ground twitching for a moment before rolling to look up at Sentry, who knelt down with his knees on either side of the man's thin hips, pinning him to the floor. “A real sculpture takes a lot of time to make, you know, hours...days...months....It really depends on the process. But if we're talking about from conception, there are preliminary sketches, materials acquisition...It takes time, you know?” Sentry sighed, shaking his head. “And when people with the money to commission a real artist buy this...” He clocked him across the jaw this time, shattering it and sending several teeth scattering across the floor. “Mass produced, sweatshop...GARBAGE!” He grabbed the twitching, blubbering figure's throat with his free hand. “It really pisses me off....” He rammed the sharp gold tip of the sculpture into the man's eye socket, pushing and twisting until the noises and struggling stopped.
Sentry stood back a moment to admire his work with a contented sigh before crossing the room to his hoodie and fishing the client list out of his pocket. He crossed the name off the list and then looked around the room at the rest of the soulless department store 'art', the cheap screen printings, the ugly sculptures, and he decided to redecorate a bit. A splash of red across a vapid print of an old fashioned homestead, another sharp edged sculpture used to tear through the cheap fabric of a soulless computer generated 'abstract'. Sentry hummed to himself as he worked, practically skipping across the apartment before he noticed the time.
He knew when the investigators came, their first move would be to speak with the corpse, to try and get out of their job the easy way by simply asking who killed him. Sentry grinned, this little trick was his favorite part. Time to waste those five little questions. His eyes glowed and the sigils danced around him as he stood before the corpse, raising up his hand. The corpse regarded him lifelessly as Sentry thought a moment. “So, like, do you actually think this shit is good art?” The tiefling asked with a sneer. “It....was....cheap....and...complimented...the...room.” The corpse replied, its voice strained. “No it fucking didn't! That's a complete lie...Or are you just that much of a tasteless idiot?” Sentry snapped, disgust crossing his face. “Taste....is...subjective” The corpse responded. “Not when you're literally mass producing 'art' in a factory. Do you know the first thing about art? I mean really!?” Sentry shot back with a growl. “No...” The corpse replied. “Ah, well, at least you can admit it. Cool...cool...” Sentry wrinkled his nose as he tried to think of his last two questions. “Oh...okay, is your boss going to be mad at me for killing you?” “Probably....not...rarely...spoke...to...him.” “Good to know. What DID you do for Blackhand Armaments anyway?” Sentry quirked a brow. “Accountant...” The corpse went silent, collapsing back to the floor. “Shit...I still wanted to visit that guy...” He thought aloud. “Guess I better wash up before I go...” He sighed. The blood stains were always such a nice touch, but even he knew he couldn't just walk around a high end apartment building covered in blood, especially when it wasn't even his own blood. He made his way to the bathroom and stripped off his T-shirt for a quick shower, letting the cold water wash over his freckled skin, red rivulets circling the drain as he rinsed his body. It took him less than twenty minutes to rinse, dry, and redress, taking the man's key from the tidy little hook by the door and carefully locking up when he left, noting with satisfaction that still no one had seen him in the hall as he made his way to the elevator.
Once again finding himself in front of the door with the golden door knocker, which he now knew in retrospect was pretty clearly cast in the image of Bane, Sentry grabbed the idol's nose ring and knocked at the door, chuckling to himself at the thought of father watching him do this to the image of his sworn enemy.
The half-orc butler answered the door again. “Oh...Mr. Ojeda...Um...Mr. Gortash isn't expecting company just now, could I perhaps take a message?” He trailed off as Sentry casually stepped past him, tail brushing against him as he did. “Call it a pleasant surprise.” Sentry replied, barely acknowledging the poor guy as he made his way over to the living room, poured himself a glass of whiskey from Enver's crystal decanter, and sat back on the couch like a pampered house cat. “You can go get him now.” The butler looked like he was about to protest, but just gave a defeated sigh and nodded, disappearing down the hall as Sentry took a sip from his glass, looking towards one of the large windows that gazed out over the city, lights from cars and high rises twinkling like stars across the blue-black canvas of late night.
“You are worse than your brother with this.” Enver's voice interrupted Sentry's relaxation. The tiefling turned to look at his host, grinning when he noticed Enver's expression was one of amusement. “At least Gary would deign to send a text or have the front desk call up.” “My brother was a great man, but not a true romantic or an artist.” Sentry chuckled, taking another sip of his drink. “I see...Well, I'd say make yourself comfortable, dear Sentry, but it seems you already have.” Enver poured himself a drink of his own and joined Sentry on the couch. “So, what brings you by? Did you really come all this way just to visit?” Sentry swirled the contents of his glass and gave a playful little smile, gazing coyly at the other man. “Well, I just happened to be in the neighborhood and thought I'd stop in and say hello...after all, I figured you'd start to miss me if I stayed away too long.”
Gortash laughed hollowly. “In that case, you really are nothing like your brother...He came and went like a stray cat, if I'm being honest. Can't say it didn't surprise me, though...” He took a long drink from his glass. “Did you prefer it that way?” Sentry asked, regarding him curiously. “I'm not sure, honestly...I've been on my own for so long that I don't really know how I'd feel if someone stayed.” He admitted, meeting the young tiefling's eyes. “Well, would you like me to stay? I could, I mean, at least for tonight...” Sentry offered. “The whole night, I mean, not creeping out at dawn like last time...” Enver smiled wryly and drained his drink. “What the hells, it's worth seeing how I like it.”

Jésus Fucking christ. « I keep receipts on racists » oh how cute ur white ass pretends to care. Where the fuck are you at when ur cult is out there whitesplaining gender to native people and poc? Where the fuck u at when ur cult spouts mysoginistic garbage at black women. You’re fucking pitiful, keeping a blind eye to racism because you’re too devout to that shit you pretend is « feminism ».
You sent this ask three times, hon. You could be actually refuting with sources with the time you’re wasting, frothing over your keyboard at a woman who prioritizes other women. You’re only reaching for the fact that I’m white simply because you know anything else makes you sound like a disgusting sexist.
Trans activism has resulted in very racist remarks (such as comparing lesbians to racists for not wanting to date males) and the appropriation of two-spirit (which has generally applied to homosexual males) for trans purposes. If you really cared, you’d stop trying to posture in my askbox and chase down a few of them, especially on Twitter.

jat is extremely nimona coded (trans monsters hated by society yay!!!) but coming up with an au is impossible because the obvious bal and ambrosius stand-ins are doli lin and tomi and like. there’s no way tomi would ever turn on doli lin. like he could watch doli lin actually murder his dad in front of him and he’d be like “well avi was probably right, maybe my dad did deserve to die? who am I to cast stones especially against my beautiful soulmate. and his weird vicious new daughter whomst i love and will protect as well.” tomi is too ride or die he’s just too fucking unhinged

Living the dream.

Rising Sun | arachnida 4.4 | RE: Kakeru, accusations
She is not in her right mind.
The words seem to snap her out of the growing bristle she was experiencing as Kakeru's eyes found their way into their corner of the room, as Tomie brought one particular name forward and Lindsay brought the other. She had just stabbed the knife in the table a little too strong, enough she might've just about carved a hole through the table. Their area was filled of wood chips and to-be splinters.
But Ume's eyes are on Alice, the living Alice, not the one with bruises around their neck, or the other one that had lost their head, or even that one she saw once charred to the bone with the only thing to identify them being the small, skull shaped vial of poison chained around her neck that Ume had given her way back in highschool.
And—
And Ume bursts out laughing, high and giddy and uses her knife hand to hold her cheek (:dreamy:). "Oh, Wakuchi! You flatter me!" Wink. "I would like to say I try, but I have always been gifted with a little not-right!"
She leans over to give her a kiss on the head, and then whirls back onto Kakeru, her eyes wide and smile wider.
"But, yes! It is true. I have promised a fair number of people their safety, and if you are also aware, I have broken this promise to both K-" crack, she smiles wider to hide it "Kei-kun and Zuzu-tan! I will not do so with anyone else! Unfortunately, I do have a wide number of people on said list, so it is in my—in their—best interest to mistrial!"
Arachnida clicks her tongue and leans forward, pushing herself off the edge of her seat.
"Ah, Arachnida-senpai, I can hear you say, what of this random punishment? Are you not opening up more chances for death upon your list? Yes, cara mia! You are right! But I am a bit of a fan of Russian roulette, yes? And I am particularly good at gambling."
Her other hand squeezes Jinki's just as hard as he was, finger twined and twisted and fit together like lock and key. She glances at him briefly, and then looks back to the rest of the room.
"So perhaps it will be you, Kakeru-kun! Or Ruru-chan, or Katachi, or myself—it could be anyone, but I am two for two in loss and you do not want me walking around if you sentence one of these two to their death."
Those last words waver—a threat that doesn't particularly need a history of unpredictability or violence, because of the way panic flashes in her eyes. No one else here calmed her down the way Jinki could with an easy touch, or how Alice might distract her with gentle words. Her hand shakes, and the knife wobbles and slits her cheek. She doesn't react, doesn't even notice.
"...Like I keep saying, Clouds-chan puts herself directly with Zuzu-tan, prepared to kill, inexperienced with injecting, and matching scratches with Zuzu-tan in a way that physically puts them together in a hostile way. There is no point in bringing more names into this if Zuzu-tan's killer is so obviously already dead, and no longer our problem."

Lol 12/100. I do read a lot of fantasy, but a lot of what I’ve read is not on here. I have heard of probably most of these, and some are on my TBR, but it’s unfortunate that so many of the books on this list are by the same people, esp when I know I don’t wanna read their books because they don’t interest me or the writing is not for me lol.

« Thé idiots really have swarmed » wow just say you hate females and go
You literally whine about “TERFs” and try to expose them. I don’t care for people who try to cry about me calling people like lesbie-vague and terflies (both of whom who actively lies and twists others’ words) idiots while being misogynistic and self-hating enough to bend over backwards for men that they’d call other women “TERFs”.
