Gale: He's going to feel an immense relief, like a huge weight has just been lifted from him and he can breathe properly for the first time in weeks. His feelings for you have been crushing him, making him feel like he's going insane. But the enormity of them is exactly why he hadn't confessed to you yet; the fear of you not returning his affections was far worse than his lovesickness. The fact that you relieved him of his own mental torture with just a few shy words makes him fall for you even harder, a feat he didn't think was possible.

Astarion: He's going to be skeptical and pessimistic about it at first. "They don't like me, they just like the way I look" and things of that nature. But when he sees just how flustered and nervous you are, he starts to think that maybe you really do like him. He'll try to step up and be suave about it, like "I'm not surprised in the least, who wouldn't fall for me?" but inside, he's kinda flipping his shit (in a good way lol)

Wyll: He said it himself--he can't pick up on flirting at all. So after weeks of what he thought was friendly banter and the like, he's going to be completely blind-sided when you confess. He'll ask you to repeat yourself, because part of him thinks he must have misheard. Not because he doesn't like you, but because he does, very much so. When you stammer out your confession again, he's going to sit there for a long while as he tries to think of something meaningful and romantic to say, something to blow your socks off and let you know just how much he reciprocates your feelings. But after a moment, he just laughs and says, "Gods, I love you too."

Halsin: He's been aware of your crush since the moment it formed--he's good at picking up on things like that. But in an effort to not push you into something you're not ready for and to allow you time to sort your feelings, he doesn't pursue you. He hangs back, treating you just as he treats his other friends, and waits to see if you want anything more. So when you confess, it's all he can do to not scoop you up in his arms and lavish you in kisses. He's just so happy!

Another thing from Idle Champions:

In canon BG3, all Halsin has to say about stuffed animals is that a teddy bear isn't "the most dignified depiction." However, in Idle Champions, an in-character description for an owlbear plush says "Delightful! I shall see that this cub finds a proper home."

Needless to say I am now accepting this into my worldview because I feel like someone as playful, silly dad coded as Halsin would definitely have this reaction to a stuffed animal
