My Wednesday night in person Forgotten Realms campaign player character, Father Ilya Barghest. He is a good hearted Oath of Devotion Paladin of Ilmater. He is a Rashemi orphan who was found near a capsized boat on the shore near Rivington outside Baldur's Gate. He's a fairly kind, calm, and care free person devoted to helping the downtrodden and enjoying good alcohol. He is a trans man like most of my characters. In his late teens/early twenties, he was in love with a noble who he would later find out was corrupt and abducting/experimenting on commoners. Ilya was horrified and confronted his lover, ultimately having to kill him in order to save the surviving victims. Distraught at allowing his feelings to blind him to his lover's cruelty and evil acts, he went on a pilgrimage of penance where he found an enchanted weapon. He is a huge fan of Minsc, being from Rasheman himself, and idolizes the great hero, somewhat like an irl person might adore a super hero or movie star. He has a hand made plush miniature giant space hamster.

Get to know my OCs: first love:

Kroger of Creche K'liir:

Wyll Ravengard. Kroger has always been somewhat anxious and uncertain of relationships, but Wyll's heroic demeanor and handsome appearance made him consider love for the first time.

Octavia of Creche K'liir:

A female Raider from her Creche. They were very close and she loved to hear Octavia's latest information and facts about Istik cultures and new places. Unfortunately she died in battle a few months before Octavia was abducted by the nautiloid.

Jaina Thalassia:

Had a crush on a popular bard at the local opera house in the upper city but he was only using her as a pretty little thing to fuck behind his wife's back. This jaded her a bit, admittedly.

Sentry Ojeda:

Enver Gortash. Sentry never believed he could fall in love or want someone that way until the House of Wonders heist when he saw Enver pulp one of the guards. In that moment, Sentry saw someone he would devote himself to forever and give things he could never see himself giving anyone else, including a child.

Wysp Silksong:

The goddess Elistraaee, he pined for her all his life until later falling for Sentry, but she gently rebuffed him, recognizing that a love with someone like Wysp could never be equal with all he relied on her for.

Jackal Silk:

Not really love, but he has had a sick obsession with Astarion and the idea of having him for himself and being in control of him since Astarion sentenced him to the madhouse before Astarion was a vampire spawn.

Father Ilya Barghest:

Was in love with a corrupt and cruel patriar. He did not know his lover's true nature. They met when the man came to meet with Sentry about a Bhaalist matter but Sentry was not at the Open Hand Temple at the time and instead he met Ilya and was smitten, finding the young paladin handsome and charming. The patriar donated a large sum of money to the church and flirted with Ilya, who accepted. The two courted for a year before he found out his lover's true nature and confronted him. He ultimately killed his lover and in grief left on a penance pilgrimage.
