The sun streamed through the window, casting a soft golden light into the room, as laughter and chatter filled the air. The midterm exams had just ended, and all the students, still buzzing with energy, were busy talking about the exam answers. You were in the middle of chatting with your friends when the classroom door swung open, and the teacher walked in.
Immediately, the class president stood up, prompting the rest of the students to follow with a chorus of greetings. The teacher gave a brief nod, signaling for everyone to sit down, and the room fell into a hushed silence. She glanced around, her eyes settling on the group of eager faces.
"I would like to make new seat arrangements based on your grades," she began, her voice firm but calm. "And before any of you start, I'm not accepting any complaints or 'no's' from you. This is final."
A collective groan rippled through the class. You exchanged glances with your friends, rolling your eyes along with them as the usual grumbling started. "This is so unfair," someone whispered behind you. Another student muttered, "I was finally sitting next to my best friend."
The teacher started calling out names based on the new seating chart. One by one, your classmates were assigned their new spots. When it was your friend's turn, you were practically begging, whispering “Nooo,” while fake crying dramatically as she laughed along with you, both dreading the separation.
Then, it was finally your turn.
"Y/N," the teacher said, scanning her list, "you'll be sitting next to... Lee Heeseung."
Your heart skipped a beat, and your mind went blank for a second. Lee Heeseung? Of all people? You glanced over at him, sitting casually in his seat, completely unbothered. Meanwhile, your friend shot you a wide-eyed look, biting back a grin as if this were some huge inside joke.
You tried to play it cool, but inside, your stomach was doing flips. Heeseung was the guy everyone liked—smart, good-looking, and effortlessly charming. You, on the other hand, were just… you. Sitting next to him was going to be interesting, to say the least.
As students began moving to their new seats, you grabbed your stuff, your nerves creeping in. "Good luck," your friend whispered with a teasing smirk, giving your shoulder a playful nudge.
You rolled your eyes, forcing a smile. "Thanks, I'll need it."
Taking a deep breath, you made your way to your new seat next to Heeseung. He looked up as you approached, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
"Looks like we’re seatmates," he said casually, shifting to make room for you.
"Yeah, lucky me," you mumbled, trying not to sound too awkward as you sat down. You could feel the curious glances from your classmates, and your friend was definitely still staring from across the room.
This was going to be an interesting year.
The lesson started, and the awkward tension between you and Heeseung was palpable. You could feel it hanging in the air like an invisible wall, both of you too polite to acknowledge it. As usual, the teacher began calling out names to read from the textbook, and you silently prayed yours wouldn’t be next. The last thing you needed was to embarrass yourself in front of him.
Your heart raced as the teacher continued down the list, getting closer and closer. You could feel the nervousness creeping in, and the fact that Heeseung was sitting right next to you only made it worse. What if you stuttered? What if you sounded dumb? What if Heeseung thought you were weird or—
“Y/N!” the teacher’s voice cut through your anxious thoughts.
"Shit," you muttered under your breath, eyes widening in panic. Your hands suddenly felt clammy as you fumbled to find the right page, the sound of your heartbeat almost deafening. You could feel Heeseung glance at you, probably sensing your nerves.
Taking a shaky breath, you started reading, praying your voice wouldn’t betray you.
Luckily, you didn’t stumble over the words, but your voice was practically shaking as you read aloud. Each sentence felt like it dragged on forever, and you were hyper-aware of every small mistake you thought you made. You could feel your face getting warmer, but you powered through, forcing yourself to stay calm.
When you finally finished, the teacher nodded and moved on to the next student. Relief washed over you, but not before you snuck a quick glance at Heeseung. He wasn’t laughing or smirking like you feared—he was just listening, completely unfazed.
"Not bad," he whispered quietly enough so only you could hear, a small smile playing on his lips.
You blinked, surprised. "Uh, thanks," you mumbled back, feeling your face heat up even more. Was that… a compliment?
As the lesson continued, you couldn’t help but feel slightly more relaxed. Maybe sitting next to Heeseung wasn’t going to be as terrifying as you thought.
The bell rang, signaling the start of recess, and the classroom immediately buzzed with movement. Everyone was quick to get up from their seats, excited to escape the lesson and catch up with their friends. You didn’t even spare a glance at Heeseung as you hurried out of the room, spotting your friends waiting for you just outside.
You all made your way to your usual table in the corner of the cafeteria, chatting and laughing as you settled in. It was your routine—your little spot, away from the chaos of the rest of the school.
"Oh my god," one of your friends groaned, breaking the flow of conversation. "Why does it have to be a boy sitting next to me? I hate this so much!"
"For real!" another friend chimed in, nodding along. "But I’m lucky. My seatmate’s someone I actually know, so I’m good."
Then, your friend turned to you, a teasing smirk already forming on her face. "What about you, Y/N? How do you feel about your new seatmate?"
You felt all eyes on you, and you immediately knew they were about to make this a big deal. With a small shrug, you tried to play it cool. "It’s… fine, I guess?"
But your friend wasn’t letting you off that easily. "C’mon," she leaned in, her grin widening. "You’re sitting next to Lee Heeseung. You can’t tell me that’s just ‘fine.’ What’s it like being next to Mr. Perfect?"
You rolled your eyes, trying to hide your embarrassment. "It’s not that deep," you said, but deep down, you knew this was only the beginning of their teasing.
Your friend wasn’t buying it, and the teasing only intensified. “Not that deep?” she repeated with a laugh, giving you a playful nudge. “Girl, please. You’ve got front-row seats to the Lee Heeseung every single day.”
Another one of your friends joined in, eyes sparkling with amusement. “Yeah, don’t act like you don’t notice the way the girls practically swoon over him. He’s like the school’s It boy.”
You sighed, knowing you weren’t going to escape this. “Okay, yeah, he’s popular and all, but it’s not like I’m gonna suddenly fall for him just because we’re seatmates.”
Your friends exchanged knowing glances, and you could tell they were holding back smirks. “Sure, sure,” one of them said, drawing out the words. “We’ll see how long that lasts.”
Before you could protest, another one added, “Just don’t fall too hard when he starts helping you with math or something. I can already picture the movie moment where he leans over your desk, all close and—”
You covered your face, groaning. “Can we not do this?”
But they were having too much fun now. “We’re just looking out for you,” your friend teased. “You know, so when the romance sparks start flying, you’re not totally caught off guard.”
You rolled your eyes, but deep down, their teasing left a slight flutter in your chest. Sure, Heeseung was charming and popular, but that didn’t mean anything would actually happen between you two… right?
Or at least, that’s what you kept telling yourself.
The following weeks felt like a blur, almost like you were floating through a dream. You and Heeseung were still awkward around each other, but somehow, he always found a way to make things less tense. He’d casually help you out during class or lean over to ask for answers to questions he didn’t know, and you’d try to keep your cool, even though your heart raced every time.
Each time he spoke to you, you felt your nerves spike. Eye contact? That was a whole other challenge. Sure, you managed to look him in the eye once or twice, but it was always for a brief moment before you quickly glanced away, pretending to be focused on something else.
You played it cool, or at least you hoped you did. On the outside, you kept your composure, nodding along and responding like it was no big deal. But inside, your thoughts were a whirlwind. How was he so effortlessly charming, and why was it so hard for you to act normal around him?
Heeseung, on the other hand, didn’t seem fazed at all. He would flash his easy-going smile whenever he helped you, and if he noticed your awkwardness, he didn’t show it. Instead, he’d just laugh lightly and say something like, "Don't worry, I get it," making you wonder if he somehow knew you were struggling to keep it together.
Despite the awkwardness, there was something about those moments that made you look forward to seeing him each day. But you weren’t about to let yourself get carried away—at least, that’s what you kept telling yourself.
It was science class, and you found yourself once again partnered with Heeseung, this time in a group of five. The group quickly arranged the tasks, deciding who would handle each part of the experiment. You were assigned the responsibility of writing the experimental notes—the detailed steps and observations that had to be recorded.
While the others were busy with the actual hands-on part of the experiment, you sat quietly, jotting down what you could. The room was filled with the sounds of bubbling chemicals, clinking glassware, and quiet murmurs from other groups. You were focused on your writing when you heard someone approach.
"Y/n?" It was Heeseung’s voice.
You glanced up, heart skipping slightly. "Yeah?" you responded, trying to sound casual.
Heeseung leaned over slightly, pointing at the notes. "The next step for the experiment involves using the eraser. It’s to demonstrate static charge. You know, like in the second part of the list.”
You paused, staring at him for a moment, feeling a wave of confusion wash over you. Wait, what? You glanced down at your notes, feeling a bit lost. How did you miss that? Your eyes flickered with nervousness, and you looked back up at him, biting your lip. "Uh... could you repeat that again?"
You felt a pang of embarrassment, wondering how such a simple thing slipped past you. Before you could spiral into overthinking, Heeseung chuckled lightly, his expression softening. He leaned in just slightly closer and started explaining again, this time slower and more patiently.
“It’s not a big deal,” he said calmly, as if sensing your nerves. “We just need to use the eraser to create static for the next part of the experiment. It’s basically to show how the charge affects the materials. Simple stuff.”
You blinked, finally grasping what he was saying. "Ahh, okay, I get it now," you said, nodding along, relieved that he explained it in such a kind way without making you feel dumb.
Heeseung gave you a reassuring smile before going back to the group. For a brief moment, you let out a breath, thankful that he didn’t make a big deal out of it.
You watched as Heeseung returned to the group, his presence effortlessly drawing everyone's attention. It amazed you how naturally he navigated through the chaos of the experiment, guiding the others and laughing at the little mishaps along the way. You couldn’t help but admire how he managed to make even the most mundane tasks seem fun.
With newfound focus, you returned to your notes, writing down the steps as clearly as you could. The warmth from Heeseung’s smile lingered in your mind, and you felt a little more confident. Maybe this partnership wouldn’t be so bad after all.
As the experiment continued, you occasionally glanced at Heeseung. He was genuinely engaged, explaining concepts to his teammates while effortlessly keeping the atmosphere light. You found yourself smiling at how he could turn the stress of science class into something enjoyable.
“Y/N, can you hand me that beaker?” one of your group members called out, pulling you from your thoughts.
“Sure!” you replied, grabbing the beaker and passing it over. But as you did, you caught Heeseung’s eye again. He gave you a small thumbs-up, as if acknowledging your contribution. Your heart fluttered, and you quickly looked away, pretending to focus on your notes.
As the class went on, Heeseung began to engage with you more. “Hey, what’s the next step?” he asked, leaning over slightly to peek at your notes.
You pointed to the relevant section, trying to sound confident. “We just need to record the results from the static charge experiment. Then we’ll analyze the data.”
He nodded, and as he leaned in closer, you felt the heat rising in your cheeks. “You’re really good at this, you know,” he said, his voice low enough for only you to hear.
You felt a mix of pride and embarrassment. “Thanks, but I’m just following the instructions,” you replied, trying to brush it off.
Heeseung shrugged, his gaze steady. “Still, it takes a lot to keep everything organized like this. You’re doing great.”
His compliment caught you off guard, and you found yourself unable to respond immediately. Instead, you just nodded, a smile creeping onto your face despite your attempts to play it cool.
As the bell rang, signaling the end of class, you felt a sense of reluctance wash over you. You packed your things, glancing at Heeseung one last time as he gathered his own materials. He caught your eye and smiled again, a soft, genuine smile that made your heart race.
“See you tomorrow, Y/N,” he said, his voice light.
“Yeah, see you,” you replied, trying to sound casual, even as you walked out of the classroom feeling giddy. Maybe, just maybe, this partnership was turning into something more than you ever expected.
It was PE time, and you and your friends lounged in the garden, talking and laughing like typical teenagers. The sun filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows on the ground, creating a perfect backdrop for your carefree moments together. Yet, despite the joy around you, your thoughts kept drifting back to Heeseung. Each day, it felt like you were falling deeper for him, and the realization was both exhilarating and terrifying.
You couldn’t shake the feeling that he wasn’t really a match for you. You and Heeseung felt like the skies and the ground—so different in every way. He was the charming, good-looking star everyone adored, while you were just... well, average. You were pretty enough, sure, but he was on a whole different level. It felt hopeless to even think about the possibility of something between you.
Just as you were lost in these thoughts, your friend interrupted you. "baby girl, you good?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
You couldn’t help but chuckle, a little weirded out by the sudden nickname. “Yeah, I’m good,” you replied, trying to brush off your inner turmoil.
But your friend wasn’t convinced. She stared at you, a knowing look in her eyes that made you squirm. “Oh yeah? You sure it wasn’t about Heeseung you were thinking about?”
Your eyes widened in surprise. “How did you know...?”
She laughed, clearly enjoying your reaction. “Girl, please. It’s written all over your face! You’re practically glowing at the mention of his name. You’re like a total lovesick puppy.”
You felt heat rush to your cheeks, and you buried your face in your hands, groaning. “Okay, okay! Maybe I was thinking about him. But it’s not like it matters, He’s out of my league..”
Your friend waved her hands dismissively. “Stop with that nonsense! You never know what could happen. Besides, you guys are paired up for the whole year. That’s practically fate!”
“Fate?” you echoed, trying to suppress a laugh. “That sounds way too dramatic.”
“Dramatic is my middle name,” she declared, striking a pose that made you giggle. “But seriously, you need to at least admit you have a crush on him.”
You shook your head, though you couldn’t suppress the smile forming on your lips. “Fine, maybe I have a little crush. But that doesn’t change anything. He’s still Heeseung, and I’m still… well, me.”
Your friend rolled her eyes, clearly exasperated. “Stop doubting yourself y/n, you’re amazing just the way you are. Just remember, confidence is key. If you like him, you should just go for it!”
You couldn’t help but think about what she said. Maybe there was a chance, however slim, that things could change. With that thought lingering in your mind, you looked up to see Heeseung walking across the field, laughing with his friends. Your heart raced, and you quickly turned away, trying to mask the flutter of excitement.
Your friend nudged you, her voice low and teasing. “Look! There he is. Are you going to keep pretending you don’t like him huh?”
You let out a laugh, a mix of embarrassment and exhilaration. “Shut up! Just let me think for a second.”
But as you watched him from a distance, you couldn’t help but wonder if maybe, just maybe, there was a chance for you after all.
One week later, your teacher announced that you guys would be having a practice speaking test.
The day finally came, and it was your group’s turn for the test. You had spent the previous night practicing in front of the mirror, trying to perfect your pronunciation, gestures, and confidence. You told yourself over and over that everything would be fine, that you’d get through this without any issues. You were sure of it. Or at least, that’s what you thought.
As the test began, you watched Heeseung go first, his delivery smooth and effortless. He spoke with such ease, barely pausing for breath, his voice calm and composed. Every word was clear, and you couldn’t help but admire how flawless he was under pressure. Of course, Heeseung would ace this, like he did with everything else.
When he finished, the teacher nodded in approval, and your heart sank. Now it was your turn.
You took a deep breath and stood up, feeling the weight of everyone’s eyes on you. Just relax, you got this, you thought, trying to calm your racing heart. But the moment you opened your mouth to speak, your mind went blank.
For a split second, you stood there frozen, staring at the paper in front of you. No, no, no. Not now, you panicked internally. You had practiced this a hundred times last night, and now the words seemed to have disappeared completely.
Glancing over at Heeseung, you saw him looking at you with a reassuring smile, as if silently telling you that you could do this. His confidence somehow made you feel even more nervous. What if you failed? What if he thought you were a complete mess?
You cleared your throat and started speaking, but your voice wavered slightly, betraying your nerves. You tried to push through, but the pressure was overwhelming. Halfway through, you stumbled over your words, losing your train of thought completely.
Your cheeks flushed with embarrassment, and you could feel your palms getting sweaty. The silence in the room was deafening, and you desperately wished you could disappear. But then, you heard a soft whisper next to you.
“Talk about the part where…” Heeseung whispered quietly, his voice just low enough for only you to hear.
You blinked, snapping out of your daze. His words nudged you in the right direction, reminding you of the next point you needed to make. You picked up where you left off, feeling a bit more grounded thanks to his subtle help.
You managed to finish your part, though not as smoothly as you had hoped, but it was done. The teacher gave a nod of approval, and you finally sat back down, letting out a sigh of relief.
Heeseung glanced at you with a knowing smile, and you mouthed a quick “thank you” to him. He just winked, his expression relaxed and calm, as if what he did was no big deal.
And maybe to him it wasn’t, but to you, it meant everything.
The bell rang, signaling the end of class, and you gathered your things, still feeling the rush of relief from having survived the speaking test. Your heart hadn’t stopped racing since you sat back down. Heeseung’s small act of kindness played over and over in your head, and you couldn’t help but feel a little flustered.
As you were putting your books into your bag, Heeseung casually leaned over. "You did fine, you know?" he said with a small smile, his voice gentle.
You blinked, looking up at him. "I don’t know about that… but thanks. I almost messed it up completely."
He shrugged, still smiling. "Everyone gets nervous. Besides, you recovered. That’s what matters."
You felt your face heat up again, the nerves from earlier creeping back in but for a different reason. There was something about the way he spoke so casually to you, like it was the easiest thing in the world, that made you feel... seen. And not in a bad way, but in a way that made you want to hide and smile at the same time.
"Thanks," you said again, your voice softer this time.
He nodded, picking up his bag and slinging it over his shoulder. "See you tomorrow, Y/N," he said before walking out of the classroom, his steps unhurried, as if he had all the time in the world.
You stood there for a moment, watching him leave, the small interaction replaying in your mind. It wasn’t anything grand, but it was enough to leave you standing there, your heart doing flips.
As you met up with your friends in the hallway, they immediately bombarded you with questions. "How was the test? Did you survive?" one of them asked, clearly joking but knowing full well how nervous you’d been.
You laughed, though it was a little shaky. "Barely. I messed up, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be."
Your friend smirked, her eyes narrowing playfully. "And how was Heeseung? You guys were partnered up again, right?"
At the mention of his name, your heart did a weird little jump. "Yeah, he was fine. Helped me out a bit, actually," you admitted, trying to keep your voice nonchalant.
Your friends exchanged looks, their smirks growing wider. "Oh, really? He helped you out? How sweet," they teased, clearly enjoying the flustered look on your face.
"Shut up," you muttered, feeling your cheeks heat up again. "It wasn’t a big deal."
But deep down, you knew it was a big deal to you. Every small moment with Heeseung felt significant, like they were adding up to something bigger, something you weren’t quite ready to admit.
As you walked through the hallways with your friends, laughing and joking like you always did, you couldn’t help but think back to the way Heeseung had smiled at you after the test. Maybe it was nothing, just him being nice, but maybe—just maybe—it was something more.
And that thought stayed with you, lingering in the back of your mind long after the school day ended.
Weeks had passed, turning into months, and the feelings you had tried so hard to ignore began to grow stronger. You had fallen for Heeseung. It was impossible not to—the way he always approached you with that warm, easy smile, how he helped you with subjects you struggled with, and those fleeting glances he’d give you whenever you bumped into each other in the halls. You started to believe that maybe—just maybe—he was interested in you, too.
You found yourself talking about him with your friends every day, the smallest interactions suddenly feeling like monumental moments. You would gush over the way he spoke to you, the way he seemed to make everything around him brighter. Your friends teased you, calling it a classic high school crush, but to you, it felt like something more. Something real.
But one day, everything came crashing down.
You were absent from school on Monday, feeling under the weather, but by Tuesday, you were back. As usual, you arrived late, sneaking into class and slipping into your seat quietly. Your eyes scanned the room, searching for him like you always did. When you found him, he was sitting with his friends, talking and laughing as usual. For a brief moment, your heart warmed at the sight, the same butterflies fluttering inside you.
But then, you saw her.
Aera, one of your classmates, walked into the classroom, and you noticed how Heeseung’s friends immediately nudged him, teasing smiles on their faces as she passed by them. Heeseung’s face lit up, his eyes following her for a second too long. It was subtle, but you caught it.
That pang in your chest hit you like a ton of bricks.
You stared, frozen in your seat, watching as the scene unfolded in front of you. Heeseung chuckled, running a hand through his hair as his friends continued to nudge him, clearly teasing him about Aera. You didn’t need to hear what they were saying to know what it was about.
It was so obvious.
The way his friends teased him when she walked by, the way Heeseung didn’t deny it but instead just laughed along—it all made sense now. The realization hit you like a punch to the gut. The occasional glances, the small smiles, the casual conversations… they weren’t special, at least not the way you thought they were. They were just… normal.
You felt your stomach twist, a wave of nausea washing over you as the truth settled in. He wasn’t interested in you. He was interested in her.
For the rest of the day, that pang in your chest refused to go away. You tried to focus on class, on anything but him, but it was impossible. Every time you glanced in his direction, you saw him laughing with his friends, glancing at Aera when he thought no one was looking.
And just like that, the small world you had built in your head—where maybe Heeseung liked you back—came crashing down.
You plopped onto your bed, your heart aching as tears began to well up in your eyes. The overwhelming emotions you’d been bottling up finally spilled over. “Why does this hurt so much?” you sobbed, pulling your knees to your chest and burying your face in them. Each sob seemed to echo the ache deep in your chest, and you couldn’t stop the flood of tears that followed.
You tilted your head to the side, staring blankly at the wall as the pieces fell into place. So this is why… you thought bitterly. This is why Heeseung always teased Aera, why he would borrow her school supplies when he could’ve easily asked you. You replayed the small moments in your head, moments where you thought he was being distant, but now you realized it wasn’t distance—it was focus. Focus on her, not you.
Every little thing made sense now, and with that realization came an even deeper sense of pain. He wasn’t shy around you; he simply didn’t feel anything special toward you. He wasn’t nervous when you caught him glancing your way; he was probably looking past you to catch a glimpse of her.
You chuckled bitterly, the sound hollow and broken. “How pathetic…” you whispered, wiping away another tear. You had been so naive, thinking that he was interested in you. You convinced yourself that his little acts of kindness meant more than they did. The way he helped you during the speaking test, the fleeting eye contact, the small smiles—they were nothing but common decency.
Your tears blurred your vision as you thought back to every moment you’d replayed in your head over the past months, building it up into something that it never was. You were just a hopeless romantic, falling for someone who was never meant to fall for you.
The next day, you barely dragged yourself out of bed. The thought of going to school, facing Heeseung and Aera, felt unbearable. You were emotionally drained from staying up all night, crying over him—how stupid it seemed in hindsight. But feelings couldn’t be forced, and your heart ached in ways you hadn’t anticipated.
When you finally made it to school, you kept your head down, blending into the background as much as possible. The day went by in a blur, each lesson blending into the next. Every time the teacher left the classroom, you could hear Heeseung’s friends snickering and teasing him whenever Aera was nearby. It stung, and only God knew how much you wanted to disappear every time they talked. The painful reality was right in front of you, and there was no escaping it.
You weren’t sure how you managed to hold it together. You felt like a mess, like you were barely keeping it together. And it must have shown, because at some point, Heeseung glanced at you, concern flickering across his face.
"Hey, are you okay?" he asked softly.
Is it that obvious? you thought. You didn’t trust yourself to speak much, so you just nodded, not even sparing him a glance. You couldn’t.
Math class rolled around, and as usual, you were struggling. Numbers and formulas swam before your tired eyes, but today, you didn’t even consider asking for Heeseung’s help like you usually did. There was no way you could face him, not after everything. Instead, you kept your head down, trying to make sense of the problem in front of you, even though it felt like trying to read a foreign language.
"You need help with that?" His voice broke through the silence, and for a split second, your heart twinged at the familiarity of it.
But you shook your head quickly, keeping your eyes glued to the textbook. "No, I can manage," you muttered, even though you knew you couldn’t.
There was a pause, and you could feel him watching you. "Alright," he said, sounding slightly hesitant, "just tell me if you need help. I'm always here."
You didn't respond. You didn’t have the energy to. All you could do was nod, your eyes still fixed on the page in front of you. His words echoed in your head—I'm always here—but they felt hollow now. It was like the safety net you once felt around him had disappeared, replaced by the reality that his attention was somewhere else, on someone else.
You bit your lip, swallowing down the lump in your throat. You were going to get through this. You had to. But right now, everything still hurt.
The rest of the day dragged on painfully. You went through the motions—attending classes, taking notes, and exchanging small talk with your friends—but your mind was elsewhere, fixated on the ache in your chest. Every time Heeseung laughed with his friends or shared a casual smile with Aera, it felt like a fresh stab to your heart.
By the time the final bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, you were more than ready to leave. You packed your things quickly, avoiding any lingering glances in Heeseung’s direction. Your friends noticed your quieter-than-usual demeanor, but they didn’t press you too much. You gave them a half-hearted smile and told them you were just tired.
As you walked home, the familiar streets blurred in your peripheral vision. The conversations and laughter from your classmates echoed in your mind, but you felt distant from it all. You replayed Heeseung’s words in math class, the way he had offered to help like he always did. It was almost painful how effortlessly kind he was, even when you were trying to distance yourself.
By the time you reached your house, the emotional exhaustion had fully set in. You threw your bag onto the floor, kicked off your shoes, and collapsed onto your bed once more. The quiet of your room wrapped around you like a comforting blanket, but it didn’t erase the feelings bubbling just beneath the surface.
You stared at the ceiling, thoughts spinning. Why did I have to fall for him? you wondered for what felt like the hundredth time. Heeseung was everything you could’ve asked for in a person—kind, smart, charming. But the reality was, you were just a background character in his story. No matter how much you wished it were different, Aera was the one who held his attention.
You rolled onto your side, hugging your pillow tightly as a fresh wave of sadness washed over you. It wasn’t fair, but you knew life wasn’t about fairness. You’d get over this, eventually, but right now, it just hurt.
Before you could sink further into your thoughts, your phone buzzed beside you. You reached over to check it, blinking at the screen. It was a message from one of your friends.
Bestiee<3: “Are you okay? You seemed kinda off today. Let’s hang out this weekend, okay? We can binge some shows and forget about school for a while. 🫶”
You smiled weakly at the text, appreciating the gesture. Maybe you did need a break, a chance to step away from everything and focus on yourself for a bit.
You: “Yeah, sounds good. Thanks for checking in.”
You put your phone down and sighed. Maybe hanging out with your friends could help distract you from the mess of feelings swirling inside. Maybe you just needed time, a reminder that your world wasn’t falling apart—at least not completely.
But for now, you let the quiet fill the room again, allowing yourself to feel whatever it was you needed to feel. Tomorrow was another day and maybe, it would hurt a little less.
You had fun hanging out with your friends over the week, trying to distract yourself from the lingering hurt in your heart. After all, you were just a human with feelings, and it was hard to shake off the emotional weight that Heeseung’s unexpected interest in Aera had brought.
As Heeseung's birthday approached, he invited you to his party. You wavered, unsure if you should go, especially since Aera would likely be there. But in the end, you forced yourself to attend, not wanting to let your own insecurities ruin a chance to celebrate someone you cared about.
You decided to buy him a beanie—something he had once casually mentioned loving during a conversation.
“What’s your favorite stuff?” you had asked, genuinely curious.
“Why do you ask?” He had chuckled, raising an eyebrow.
“Just curious,” you replied, keeping it light.
“Hmmm, I like stuff like beanies?” he said with a smile.
“A beanie lover, I see?” you teased back.
“You could say that,” he laughed, and in that moment, you felt a warmth inside, a flicker of hope that maybe, just maybe, he noticed you too.
The day of the party arrived, and you found yourself standing in front of his house, heart racing. His maid greeted you at the door, a welcoming smile on her face.
“Mr. Lee is currently with his friends. You can go around the house and have fun,” she said.
“Okay, thank you!” you replied, trying to sound upbeat while gripping the gift a little tighter.
Just then, someone touched your shoulder, making you jump slightly. You turned to see one of Heeseung's friends, a friendly smile on his face.
“Hey, y/n, right?” he asked.
“Uh, yeah, and… you are?” you replied, forcing a smile that felt a little shaky.
“I’m Jake, Heeseung’s friend. C’mon, let’s go upstairs. Heeseung and the others are there too.”
“Alright!” you nodded, following him as you tried to suppress your nerves.
As you both ascended the staircase, the sound of laughter and chatter grew louder. Jake opened the door, revealing Heeseung surrounded by his friends, and—your stomach dropped—Aera was there too.
You gulped, feeling a wave of nervousness wash over you as you gripped the gift tighter, your heart racing.
“Heeseung!” Jake called, and your gaze met Heeseung’s.
His face lit up, a wide grin spreading across his features. “Y/n! You made it!”
“Hey,” you said, forcing a smile, though your heart felt heavy.
“Come in! We’re just about to start the games!” he said, motioning for you to enter.
You stepped inside, trying to shake off the nerves. The atmosphere was lively, filled with excitement and laughter, but as you caught sight of Aera leaning closer to Heeseung, the pang in your heart returned. You took a deep breath, reminding yourself to enjoy the night, even if it was bittersweet.
You found yourself sitting on the couch, watching the group play games, trying to force a smile as laughter filled the room. But each joyful sound felt like a dagger in your heart. Your gaze drifted to Heeseung, who was seated next to Aera. The sight of them together was almost unbearable. They leaned into each other, sharing jokes and secrets that felt intimate.
Heeseung leaned closer to Aera, whispering something in her ear that made her laugh—a sound so light and carefree, it sent a pang of longing through you. As she playfully touched his arm, you noticed a faint blush creeping onto his cheeks. That was the final straw. You had thought you could handle this, that you had moved on at least a little, but it was clear you hadn’t.
With a heavy heart, you got up from the couch, the laughter around you fading into a dull hum. You left his gift on the table, a beanie wrapped neatly in colorful paper, and turned to leave.
“Y/N?” you heard Heeseung call out, but the sound felt distant as you stepped out of the room. You staggered down the stairs, your heart racing, desperate to escape the painful scene.
Once outside, you reached for your phone, your fingers shaking as you called an Uber. As you waited, you could feel tears pricking at the corners of your eyes, but you blinked them back, determined to hold it together.
The car pulled up, and you quickly climbed in, giving the driver your address in a barely audible whisper. As the car drove away, you stared out the window, watching the lights of the city blur together. The ache in your chest was unbearable, and you couldn’t help but wonder if you’d ever really be able to move on from Heeseung.
You were absent for the whole week, locking yourself in your room and feeling like you were rotting away. Your parents were worried, knocking on your door to encourage you to eat breakfast and dinner, but you kept silent, too engulfed in your own thoughts to respond. You ignored all your friends' calls and messages, including Heeseung's. His voice echoed in your mind—concerned, maybe even a little confused—but you couldn’t bring yourself to answer.
After days of isolation, you finally decided to return to school. You knew this wasn’t right; losing yourself over a boy wasn’t okay. You shouldn’t let your feelings for Heeseung consume you like this. So, with a heavy heart and a resolve to reclaim your life, you reluctantly headed to school.
The moment you stepped inside, you could feel Heeseung's gaze on you. Your heart raced as you glanced his way, and for a moment, everything felt overwhelming again. He furrowed his brows in concern, looking back at you with an intensity that made you want to look away.
You had told your teacher that you wanted to change seats because you couldn’t focus being so close to him. You had begged her over and over until she finally relented, and now you were grateful for that distance.
You settled into your new seat, avoiding his eyes as you rested your head on your arms, trying to shield yourself from the onslaught of emotions. The classroom felt different, quieter somehow, as if the air had thickened with the unspoken tension between you. Despite the chatter of your classmates, all you could think about was how much you missed the comfort of Heeseung's presence—yet how painful it had become to be near him.
As the lesson began, you could feel Heeseung's eyes occasionally flickering towards you, a subtle reminder that he was still there, still worried. But you kept your gaze fixed on the teacher, focusing on the words spilling from her mouth, willing yourself to forget everything else, if only for a moment.
The lesson droned on, but you struggled to concentrate. Your mind kept wandering back to Heeseung—the way he smiled, the sound of his laughter, and the warmth of his presence. Each fleeting memory felt like a double-edged sword, cutting deeper into your resolve to move on.
Suddenly, the bell rang, signaling the end of class. Students started to gather their things, but you remained still, unwilling to face the inevitable rush of conversations and glances. You heard Heeseung’s voice, low and tentative, cutting through the chatter.
“Y/N,” he called softly, his tone filled with concern. You could feel his eyes on you, and the warmth of his gaze was both comforting and painful.
You took a deep breath, pretending to rummage through your backpack as if you hadn’t heard him. You didn’t want to face him—not yet. But as you stood up to leave, you felt a presence beside you. It was Heeseung, standing a mere foot away, his expression serious.
“Can we talk?” he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
You hesitated, heart racing. Part of you wanted to say yes, to hear what he had to say, but another part feared that it would only lead to more heartache.
“Y/N, please,” he pressed, his eyes searching yours for a flicker of acknowledgment. You finally met his gaze and saw the worry etched on his face.
“Fine.” you replied, your heart pounding in your chest. You followed him out of the classroom and into the hallway, where the noise of students chatting and laughing surrounded you like a whirlwind.
He led you to a quieter corner, away from prying eyes. The air felt thick with tension as you both stood there, unsure of how to start.
“I’ve been worried about you,” Heeseung said, breaking the silence. “You disappeared for a week. I tried to reach you, but… you didn’t answer.”
You looked down, unable to meet his gaze. “I just needed some time to myself.”
“Is it about Aera?”
Your eyes flickered with a mix of shock and frustration. “No.”
Heeseung stepped closer, concern deepening in his eyes. “Y/N, it’s not what you think. Aera and I… we’re just friends. I didn’t mean to make you feel that way.”
“Look, Heeseung, I don’t know what you’re talking about. Just leave me alone. Please.”
His expression shifted, confusion and hurt crossing his features. “Y/N, I—”
“I said I need space!” you interrupted, your voice sharper than intended.
Heeseung paused, taking a step back as if your words had struck him. “Okay, I get it. Just… know that I care about you.”
With that, he turned away, leaving you in the quiet corner, your heart racing from the confrontation. You felt a mix of anger and sadness wash over you, but deep down, you knew that you needed to process your feelings on your own.
As you walked away, you could still feel the weight of his gaze lingering on you, but you steeled yourself, determined to navigate through this turmoil alone, at least for now.
A month later, graduation was approaching, and you hadn’t spoken to Heeseung since that fateful day. You did your best to ignore him, avoiding him at all costs. But if you were honest with yourself, you missed his presence. The vibrant energy he brought into your life felt absent, leaving a void that you couldn’t quite fill.
You had blocked him on all social media, determined to cut ties and free yourself from any concern about him. Yet, as days passed, you noticed something strange: Heeseung and Aera were no longer seen together. You wondered what had happened between them but quickly brushed it off as not being your problem. They were probably just busy or having private conversations.
As graduation day approached, your class decided to throw a party to celebrate. You wore a simple yet elegant dress that made you feel confident and beautiful. The fabric flowed with each movement, accentuating your figure while remaining understated. Laughter filled the room as you and your friends joked around, but you couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched. You decided to excuse yourself, needing some fresh air away from the noise.
Stepping onto the balcony, you took a deep breath, letting the cool night air wash over you. The stars twinkled brightly above, reminding you of countless moments spent with Heeseung, those late-night conversations filled with dreams and laughter. You gazed up at the endless sky, pondering what the future held—what your job would be and who your soulmate might turn out to be.
Your moment of tranquility was suddenly disrupted when the door swung open, and someone stepped outside. You turned to see who it was, and your breath caught in your throat. It was Heeseung, the very person you had been avoiding for months.
“Y/N,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper, filled with uncertainty.
You shifted uncomfortably, unsure how to react. “What are you doing here, Heeseung?” you asked, trying to keep your voice steady, but the tremor betrayed your nerves.
He stepped closer, his hands stuffed deep into his pockets, a nervous habit you had come to recognize. “I’ve been thinking a lot since we last talked. I wanted to talk to you… I-i need to get something off my chest.”
You folded your arms, feeling a mix of apprehension and curiosity. “What is it?”
He hesitated for a moment, searching for the right words. “I liked Aera at one point. Sure she was fun, and I thought I could see a future with her. But the more time I spent with her, the more I realized… she wasn’t the one I truly wanted.”
Your heart raced, unsure where this was going. You could feel the tension in the air, thick with unspoken words.
He continued, glancing down as if searching for courage. “I thought maybe it was just a crush, but then I realized I was just trying to fill a void. It was you I missed, Y/N. Your laughter, your kindness, the way you make everything feel brighter. You’ve been the one on my mind all along, and it’s time I finally admit it.”
He shifted on his feet, his cheeks slightly flushed as he caught your gaze. The sincerity in his eyes was unmistakable. “I fell in love with you, Y/N. I didn’t understand it at first, but now I can’t ignore it anymore. I’ve realized that you’re the one I’ve been longing for.”
You stood there, taken aback by his confession. The mix of feelings you had buried came rushing back, a wave of confusion, hope, and the remnants of your heartache.
“I pushed you away, and I’m sorry for that,” he added, taking a small step forward, his gaze locking onto yours. “You mean more to me than I realized. I just… I really love you, Y/N.”
You took a breath, feeling the weight of his words settle in your heart. Memories flooded your mind: the way he made you laugh, how he always knew what to say to brighten your day, and the comfort of his presence. You remembered the late-night study sessions, the deep conversations about dreams and fears, and how easy it was to be around him.
“Honestly, Heeseung,” you began, your voice trembling slightly, “I’ve missed you too. I didn’t want to admit it, but I’ve been thinking about you a lot. I tried to push you out of my mind, but it just didn’t work. I just… I didn’t know how to handle everything.”
Heeseung’s expression softened, relief washing over his face. “You mean that?”
“Yeah,” you admitted, your cheeks warming. “I thought I could just move on, but it hasn’t been the same without you. I guess… I was scared.”
Heeseung took another step closer, hope shining in his gaze. “Scared of what?”
“Scared that I’d let myself feel something for you again, and then it would hurt even more if it didn’t work out,” you confessed, vulnerability pouring from you.
Heeseung’s gaze deepened as he listened intently, his eyes reflecting a mixture of understanding and longing. “I get it. I’ve felt the same way. But I’m here now, and I want to try. I don’t want to lose you again.”
Your heart swelled at his words, the familiar warmth spreading through you. “I don’t want to lose you either.”
In that moment, the distance that had felt insurmountable shrank, leaving only the two of you in a world filled with possibilities. Heeseung’s fingers brushed against your arm, sending a spark of electricity through you.
“Can we start over?” he asked, his voice low and sincere. “Take it slow this time?”
You nodded, feeling a rush of excitement. “Yeah, I’d like that.”
As the night sky stretched above you, you both stood together, the weight of unspoken words finally lifted. The gentle breeze rustled the leaves around you, a soothing reminder of the passage of time. Heeseung shifted closer, his shoulder brushing against yours, and the warmth of his presence enveloped you.
“Remember when we used to talk about our dreams?” he asked, a nostalgic smile creeping onto his lips. “I used to think about how nice it would be to share those moments with someone special.”
You couldn’t help but smile back, recalling the late-night conversations that had felt so effortless. “Yeah, I remember. We talked about traveling, our goals, and even silly things like our favorite ice cream flavors.”
He chuckled softly, his eyes glinting with mischief. “I still stand by my favorite being mint chocolate chip.”
“Ugh, that’s the worst flavor,” you teased, nudging him playfully.
“Hey!” Heeseung laughed, the sound light and carefree, like music to your ears. “You just don’t appreciate the refreshing taste!”
The playful banter felt familiar and comforting, a reminder of the bond you shared. You both leaned against the balcony railing, looking out at the shimmering lights of the city below, the vibrant energy reflecting the emotions swirling within you.
“I’ve missed this,” Heeseung admitted, his voice turning softer. “I’ve missed you.”
Your heart fluttered at his honesty. “I’ve missed you too. It’s hard to explain, but life felt dull without you around.”
Heeseung’s gaze locked onto yours, the weight of his words resonating in the air. “I promise to be here for you this time. I won’t take our moments for granted again.”
You smiled, feeling a warmth bloom in your chest. “I believe you.”
As you stood there, side by side, the world around you faded into the background. It was just you and Heeseung, two hearts that had weathered a storm, ready to embrace whatever the future held.
The air was charged with a mix of nervous energy and undeniable chemistry, and you felt a shift—a spark that ignited the promise of something more. You turned to him, your pulse racing.
“So, what’s next?” you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.
Heeseung smiled, a hint of mischief returning to his eyes. “Well, first, I think I need to make it up to you for being such an idiot.”
You raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk on your lips. “Oh really? And how do you plan to do that?”
He stepped closer, his voice low and teasing. “How about I take you out for ice cream? You can choose the flavor, even if it’s the ‘worst’ one.”
You laughed, the sound bright and carefree. “Deal. But you might regret it when I choose something crazy.”
“I can handle it,” he replied confidently, his smile infectious. “Just don’t be too mean to my mint chocolate chip.”
As you shared a laugh, the tension between you melted away, leaving only the warmth of rekindled feelings. The future was uncertain, but with Heeseung by your side, you felt ready to embrace whatever came next.
As you both made plans for ice cream and more late-night talks, you realized that love wasn’t just a feeling—it was a journey. And together, you were ready to explore every twist and turn, hand in hand.

All Yours
Jack Abbot x doctor reader Word count: 1,700 :) You request to transfer to night shift after meeting Jack Abbot during Pittfest
Warnings: None i think, just flirty reader and closed off Jack. Not proofread, just something i giggled to while watching The Pitt :)
Tumblr media
Day 1 - 7:00 am Dr. Robby picks up clipboard to get up to speed with the whole department. Patient charts, admin notes, shift change requests- He pauses when he sees it. Neatly written in a pink glitter pen, smelling like flowers, is a transfer request letter. He sees your name and already knows its nonsense.
Robby turns to you, leaning an elbow on the counter of the hub. "Morning!" You grin, a new sticker on your badge. Robby looks down on the paper and reads aloud: "Requesting transfer to night shift for better lunar rhythm alignment and decreased daytime allergies." He deadpans. You nod.
"Are you allergic to sunshine or just looking for Dr. Jack Abbot’s schedule?" He accuses playfully, grabbing Dana's attention. "How dare you! Keep your voice down! I’m simply trying to broaden my experience!" You look around, grateful that no one else heard him. "Uh-huh, by rearranging your circadian rhythm?" Robby grins teasingly, clicking his pen and signing your request form. "I did read an article that its effective-" "You've been winking on Jack every morning during turnover." Robby files your request form in one of Dana's organizers. "Well, I have eyes. And he's single!" "That man is married to the trauma charts." "I'll seduce him out of his charts, then." You smirk. Robby stares at you for a second. "You scare me sometimes." "Do I get the shift?" You ask as he walks away. "Yeah, you're starting tonight. Come back in eleven hours. Don't overdo it." Robby heads off to check on his patients. "Good luck, kid." Dana chuckles.
6:00pm You walk in, well rested and ready for your first night shift, carrying a small box of donuts for the night crew. You spot Robby and Jack exchanging notes and typing up on the computer. "Good evening, night shift nation!" You grin, setting the box on the hub. Robby groans and leans into you, "I told you not to overdo it," "I'm not! I got these fresh from the bakery for everyone…" You open the box, nurses and doctors flocking in like pigeons. "I also asked them to put extra glaze on the Boston cream because you look like a creamy guy…" You pick up a glazed donut, offering it to Jack. His brain almost takes it the wrong way- "She's talking about the donuts, Jack. Right, y/n?" Robby chuckles, praying for Jack's blood pressure.
Robby gives the both of you a formal introduction despite having met each other during the pitfest fiasco. He hands him your transfer request letter. "This is a scrapbook." Dr. Abbot notes. "I like to leave a little razzle-dazzle in my wake. Keeps people from flatlining too early." Jack pulls Robby aside. "Is she serious?" "No. That’s the point. Good luck." Robby picks up his backpack and leaves. "Love you, Robby! Dream of normal EKGs!" You say goodbye. He walks away and waves without a second glance. When you turn your attention to the hub, Jack is still there typing up on the computer, the donut still resting on its liner on the counter. You gently nudge it towards him. He looks up, his beautiful golden eyes catching the harsh fluorescent of the emergency department. "Are you bribing your attending?" "No, I’m making sure you're happy and comfy and ready for the shift!"
As the shift continues, each minding their own business, Jack can't help but feel he is being watched. Robby did warn him that Gloria's breathing down their necks about patient satisfaction ratings but this is different. He's being observed and- oh, there she is. He catches you pretending to look at something else behind him, your expression suddenly changing from a smile to a nonchalant "hmm, I'm thinking" look. Jack chuckles and shakes his head to himself.
Your first week came and went easy. With your eye candy inspiration just around the corner, you really can't complain. Jack would chuckle at your puns and jokes but he doesn't get some internet lingo, which entertains the interns greatly. At least he's aware what crashing out means now. Some nights when its less insane, you take selfies with him in the background, slightly turned away or face just out of frame. In one of your instagram posts, you asked Jack to hold his coffee cup out right next to yours.
Day 6 - 6:00 am Instead of reviewing patient notes, Robby slides next to Jack and shows him your instagram post. "Congrats on getting soft-launched" He smirks. "I… don't know what that means. Is that me?" He squints on Robby's screen before grabbing his phone, swapping it with the charts iPad. Jack scrolls through your instagram feed, smiling at your selfies, photos of animals, glimpses of your daily life he finds himself thinking about when he's trying to sleep. "Hi, Robby! You're early today!" You catch the two of them. Jack almost drops the phone. "Yeah, I had to show Doctor Abbot here something… important"
he shows her "did you post this?" "um, y-yeah, its not that serious, really.." "You told people we're dating?" "W-what? no! They just… assumed…" you shrug, your voice fading. "I can make it official-launch next shift if you want." Jack looks utterly at a loss, hands the phone back to Robby and marches off, acting like his ears aren't turning pink.
"o-oh. is he mad?" You nervously ask Robby. "If he's mad, you'll know. Trust me."
The shift ends. You don't talk to him except for patient related concerns and handoffs. You couldn't help but wonder if you've overstepped. The entire walk home, your mind replays the conversations you had with Jack. You admit, you did say a lot of dumb words this past week, but you didn't mean to be disrespectful. You were just overjoyed to share a shift with him, to finally get to know him, and to soak in his stares that's enough to shock you back to life.
You come home and take a quick shower before diving into bed. Your socials has gotten quite the attention with the comments always flooded with teasing from your friends and relatives. Your follower count also increased, not recognizing any of those accounts. Yeah, you probably did go overboard with the fake soft-launching thing.
You went to bed after archiving the photos of yourself and Dr. Abbot.
Week 2 ‐ 2:00am You didn't talk to Dr. Abbot unless it was absolutely necessary, urgent, and with no intern in sight to bother. It wasn't ideal but it felt necessary, considering how uncomfortable it must've felt to Jack- Dr. Abbot. Its as if he heard your thoughts, he sets his eyes on you and approaches you at the hub.
You look up, pretending to just notice him him, and give a small smile. But it’s polite now. Distant. "Need anything?"
"No. I just—" Jack hesitates, then asks, "Did… something happen?"
You want to play dumb but you feel like you've wasted enough of his time. "Just thought I crossed a line and… you didn’t like it," you add calmly with slight resignation. "I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable. So I fixed it."
Jack was a man who can handle cardiac arrests but not this. He just stands there uselessly as you answer him so nonchalantly, like nothing’s broken.
Was it a game? Were you just playing with him? Jack had just made an instagram account to follow you! The pictures were gone after he screenshotted two of five and he's just confused with the app and now he's confused with how you're acting. Jack paces inside the break room. He opens and closes a drawer like that’ll give him answers but only finds some packets of sugar, creamer, biscuits, and your pink sticker packs.
After the shift, Robby finds Jack in the rooftop."You’re moping." He begins. "I’m not moping." Jack rubs his face, groans, and mutters, "She’s not talking to me." "You mean, she’s finally treating you like everyone else?" Robby chuckles, leaning on the guard rail with him. "…yes." Jack sighs. "Well, congrats, you’re now everyone else. How’s that feel, genius?" Robby laughs, offering nothing useful.
Jack stares at him, then finally straightens up. "Where are you going?" "To be an idiot with a plan."
You were already feeling fragile from missing your favorite doctor. You haven't had your favorite hallway banter, haven't had a real laugh, and now here comes this big, serious, perfect-haired doctor with the sexiest arms you've ever seen, casually peeling off a sparkly pink heart sticker and just. Boop. Right on your forehead.
"Ow-!" You say out of surprise rather than pain. And Jack smiles, like everything’s fine. Like he didn’t crush your heart last weekend when he pulled away and stopped smiling back.
You blink fast, hand coming up to trace the heart shaped sticker on your forehead. You blink faster. Until you can’t keep them in anymore and those big glassy tears just spill out and you whisper: "You can’t just do that."
Jack’s smile falters. "Do what?"
"This. You can’t flirt with me again. Not when you hated it before. I’m not-" your voice wobbles, "I’m not a game."
Jack's face drops. "What-, no. No, that’s not-!”
You try to be a big brave girl and own up to your mistakes. "I get it. You didn’t like being on my instagram. I made people believe we were a thing. I was stupid. I'm sorry. I made everything awkward. So I archived everything and I shut it off and now I’m just-I’m just trying to stay out of your way, and you-"
"I miss you." He interrupts.
Silence. Heavy, thick, pin-drop silence.
You look up, lips trembling. "Then why did you-?"
"I got scared." He sighs in relief that you're talking to him.
You laugh, wet and bitter. "Scared of me?"
"Scared of liking you so much, I won't know what to do."
He reaches out, gently plucks the sticker off your forehead, and instead places it on the left side of his scrubs, right over his heart. You see the word "All yours" printed in an exaggerated cursive font.
"I didn’t hate your posts," he says. “I checked every day. I have an account now, although I cant remember the password," he chuckles, feeling a bit sheepish. "And I don’t hate you, or anything you did. I don't hate the pictures, I just, didn’t know how to be that guy yet."
"And uh…" You pause, wondering if this is really real. "…Are you that guy now?”
Jack just looks at you, and answers you confidently with his whole chest, pointing at the glittery sticker on his chest. "Yeah. If you’ll let me try again."

The Briede persona chart explains your natal Briede asteroid (19029) placements with more depth. If you are interested in women, it tells you about your wife ; usually their character going into & after marriage but still shows what their character is like in general. In a woman's chart, it tells them about themselves as a wife/after marriage. In this post specifically, I'll be analysing my own briede persona chart. Meant to be used as a guide and also my own theory based on observations. A prediction.
Briede Masterlist coming soon...

I might be a little fussy and get overly attached to certain things after marriage. Being very obsessed with my own thoughts and worldview. I'll be somewhat clingy and protective over my spouse & family as well. Overthinking a lot about very random things. I will not be able to hide my thoughts, mood & emotional distress. I might grow to be very cautious or paranoid as well when put under pressure. But on a regular day, my thoughts function very well (i.e mercury in the 7th house).
Being a wife will add more complexity to the way that I naturally process my emotions. Having to think more and control my impulses.
Venus in the 8th house, Gemini (° 0)
My love life will be something that changes me deeply. It will open a lot of doors for me, test my creativity, & force me to try new things (Gemini). Teaching me to love wholeheartedly but at the same time be able to let loose & release control.
I've been reading into vedic astrology lately. And a lot of it really aligns to what I've been analysing in my western charts as well. I have Rahu in the 1st house & ketu in the 7th. Meaning that in order to feel complete in this life, I must focus on myself & my ambitions. To let go of control over matters relating to my spouse and relationships, accepting it as it comes (ketu in the 7th house).
The 7th house however, is a house of desire. It's natural to have a strong pull or curiosity concerning matters of the 3rd/7th/11th house. In my case, the more I try to manipulate or control the fire, the more severely I am burnt. The lesson here is to let go & love without the need to be obsessed.
Jupiter retrograde in the 12th house, Libra (°9 Sagittarius)
Years after the marriage, there is this sense of clarity that I may gain from being around my FS, our friends & family. Feeling this sense of contentment. Suddenly everything will make sense, and the dots are connected. This is something I'll likely keep to myself for the most part. What really shines here is inner contentment with my own growth and directions. Marriage life seems to have a calming effect on me.
Saturn in the 9th house, Cancer (°22 Capricorn)
My studies could be hindered by my marriage life. Changing my initial plans to pursue some form of education or a different career path. This is something that may not go that well with my parents at first (they insist that I go through masters & PhD as well in the current path I'm taking). I may have to make a tough choice regarding this in the future. Naturally, I may find myself maturing with family life and catering more towards my husband and children.
Neptune in the 4th house, Aquarius (°17 Leo)
Neptune can symbolize one's greatest motivation or ideals in marriage but also how they may relax or unwind, lessons that I could learn after marriage. In my case, it seems that I'll be taught how to truly let my imagination run wild. Finally being given the opportunity to nurture the dorky animated version of myself. Also means living away from my parents or birth place. Home will be a safe space for me to be myself with my spouse and family.
Pluto retrograde in the 2nd house, Sagittarius (°24 Pisces)
Money. Money is... Well, I might feel rather guilty about money at first. Compared to my FS, I won't be able to support him the way that he does me financially i.e I won't be much help at first (I have Jupiter in Libra in the 2nd house in my Groom persona chart, this man does not need me for money lmao). This is something I might try to solve myself or hide from him so I don't become a burden, even if he does want to help it just doesn't feel right to be fully dependent on him financially. I'll still long for financial independence. My financial situation will also change going into marriage.
Uranus in the 5th house, Pisces (°10 Capricorn)
Shifting careers. Taking on a lot of new responsibilities, taking part in more important events, trying new things, gaining new interest. Making a career out of a passion project. Taking more creative liberty in my career. Having a lot of fun at home, does it mean I'll be working from home? I've noticed that retrogrades in this persona chart can act sort of like the 12th house in a way in terms of illusion and things which are hidden. Maybe I'll finally work on that game or shoujo manga I've been putting off.
Chiron retrograde in the 4th house, Aquarius (°3 Gemini)
I might be rather fearful of becoming a mother. Having doubts on whether or not I am fitting or ready to become one. Contemplating the changes that it will bring into my life. Knowing that when it does happen, nothing will be the same. There might be something related to a miscarriage as well, carrying guilt or a burden surrounding fertility or worthiness.

Asteroids
Starr (4150) in the 8th house, Taurus (°29 Leo)
Gaining sudden fame/recognition, hate, or unnecessary attention after marriage or as a wife. As I said it's likely that my identity will be intertwined with my love life and people may have .. their own strong opinion on that. It's likely that a certain reputation will stick with me as a wife, although I'm not really sure what that could be yet.
Briede (19029) in the 9th house, Gemini (°29 Leo)
In marriage, I will act as the guide. Perhaps my FS will often come to me for advice or just to vent his thoughts and things he may be passionate about. I might be a bit more extroverted around my spouse or after marriage, being more bold and taking the lead. A little dramatic, and animated.
Groom (5129) in the 6th house, Pisces (°25 Aries)
My FS will be very invested in his career as well. Perhaps branching out and doing things that align more with what he believes in, his true "expressions". He'll be very determined and hardworking. He may take somewhat of a backseat or supporting role for some reason, going with whatever plan that I come up with. Trusting the process. That being said, he's still anything but lazy. Still very eager to start something new in a direction he may have not considered before being with me.
North node in the 6th house, Aries (°22 Capricorn)
Another °22 ? Damn. Literally working with him will change my life. For better or for worst? We'll see. We may be working on something significant to both of us, something that we are both passionate about and believe in.
Juno (3) in the 6th house, Aries (°13 Aries)
In the in any persona chart (love centric) Juno & union tells you where you both come together to create or work on the most often in your relationship. Here, it means the same thing I've been saying before; working together as a team when it comes to work or daily life. Perhaps it would be odd to see us apart at work or when going somewhere. Even if we are apart, people will still bring up the other "Hey Gaia, where's your husband?".
Ex: My mom & dad both work best together as parents/at home, they always debate their decisions w each other. They're both homebodies lmao. My mom's Briede PC Juno is in the 4th house, my dad's is in the 8th. Both are in Libra/Libra degrees. In my Dad's Groom persona chart he has Juno in the 12th in Libra (°15 Gemini) while my mom has it in 7th Sagittarius (°22 Sag).
Union (1585) in retrograde in the 12th house, Libra (°21 Sagittarius)
I may still keep certain doubts about our union or future to myself, letting go of control over the outcome of the relationship whether it will last the way I want, or go the way I expected. We will both be together somewhat behind the scenes. The inner workings of the relationship is something I may prefer to keep private.

Aspects
Grand Trine (Libra Jupiter 12th house, Gemini Moon 8th house, Aquarius Neptune 4th house)
There is this strong underlying feeling of both contentment and spiritual understanding. Being able to really sit back and feel the changes as well as the things in my life from multiple perspectives. This gives me the vibe of a "guru" in a way. My intuition, my thoughts and feelings are all in alignment. Overseeing things.
Sun conjunct Boda (1487)
My marriage is a key part of my identity. Literally. Having a lot of pride, being protective and being seen as a wife. When people think of me, they also think of my marriage. It's in the 7th house, which means to me, my marriage means the world to me.
Mercury conjunct North Node
There is going to be something significant with the way that I think or speak. Perhaps my mind will be very influenced by the thought of the future. Perhaps I will be taking, negotiating, advocating much more after marriage. It makes sense looking at my MC persona chart. Something similar to Brigitte Bardot. It's in the 6th/7th house, I will be prioritizing my work and connections. Speaking my mind. Starting something that is part of my life destiny.
Pluto trine North Node
Change is & will continue to be a common factor in my life. Since it's related to the 2nd (Pluto) & 6th House (NN) this change will further enhance my career & destiny. Finding ways to embed "change" into what I do, creating something new and impactful for my future.
Venus conjunct Starr (4150)
My love life may be very well known. People will recognize me for my charms and my interests. Both are in the 8th house , something about my love life is a big influence to those around me. Mostly concerning their opinion of me. The "shock" factor is what a lot of people will associate with my love life or relationships. There is this strange appeal or obsession around it.
Mars conjunct Uranus
I'll be more experimental after marriage, being more curious, trying new things, going to new places. I will likely be given a lot of room to do whatever it is that I want. Be it working on strange hobbies or projects that come to mind. I may do a lot of... Strange things artistically lmao. Maybe I'll finally perform a burlesque dance or start that indie game project I've been wanting to do. Whatever it is, I'll be doing a lot of new things. It's in the 5th house, both are in work centric degrees (Virgo & Capricorn) in Pisces. Something related to performance and art or the creative world. I might be doing them on my own as well or be the one to pursue it.
Lilith opposite Chiron
Lilith in the 10th & Chiron in the 4th. I might feel like I am being held back by certain things going on in my home life in the future. Perhaps I may find it difficult to fully express myself or act independently without support or backup.
Groom square Pluto
There will be a lot of changes & challenges that my FS & I have to face. Being together will not be easy as factors like distance, misunderstandings, self-centeredness and outside factors can come clawing at us, but as far as I am concerned a relationship is not without its trials & tribulations. It happens to every relationship, how & when it manifests are the only dividing factors. Marriage will also change my FS a lot in a way that might be "harmful" to him.
Saturn trine Groom, Groom trine Midheaven
My FS will be a driving force of long-term support for me. As rocky as things may get he'll still be a reliable support system.
Saturn conjunct Midheaven
Man. Work is literally the highlight of my marriage life. Through marriage, I am able to reach greater heights, success and career stability. Literally having the support to do the things that I aim for, reaching goals and a certain status in the long-run. Ketu in the 7th house & Saturn DK hits hard(vedic). "Your spouse is your greatest supporter".

Synastry Sessions Part I: Tom Holland & Zendaya
Tumblr media
Hey everyone! Today I'm starting a new series where I’ll be looking at the synastry of famous couples. First up are our beloved Zendaya and Tom Holland. I don't know their exact birth times, so I'll just be focusing on their planetary and asteroid compatibility. If you do know their birth times, please let me know! Alright, let's dive in!
--
Zendaya is a Virgo with a Taurus Moon, which makes her very down-to-earth. She needs stability and financial security to feel safe. Her Mars and Venus are both in Cancer, so she’s emotional, passionate, and somewhat private when it comes to love and sex. Once she’s in love, she finds it hard to move on. Her Libra Mercury gives her a balanced, harmonious outlook on life.
Tom, on the other hand, is a Gemini with a Sagittarius Moon. He’s lighthearted, easygoing, adventurous, intellectual, and has a great sense of humor. His Venus is also in Gemini, meaning he’s drawn to women who can keep up a good conversation and teach him new things. There's also a Taurus influence in his chart—his Mars and Mercury are both in Taurus—so when he’s making a decision, he’ll take his time, but once he makes up his mind, nobody can change it.
When I looked at their charts, the first thing I noticed was that their Suns square each other. But Mercury rules both signs, there’s a strong intellectual component to this pairing. Both Gemini and Virgo enjoy thinking, learning, and sharing ideas. However, friction arises from Gemini’s broad curiosity vs. Virgo’s detail-oriented nature. Gemini might see Virgo as overly critical, while Virgo might view Gemini as unfocused. I had a similar placement with my ex-boyfriend—his Mercury was in Gemini and mine was in Virgo. And believe me, sometimes I really did find him scattered and unfocused, and it drove me nuts! On the flip side, he would always say that I criticize people way too much, lol. We had a way to understand each other tho, these are Mercurian signs at the end! I should add that they are both very rational people.
Another point worth mentioning is Tom’s Lilith and how it interacts with Zendaya’s Venus–Mars conjunction! Well... Tom is probably obsessed with Zendaya lol She is the one he truly desires, but at the same time terrifies him! With Lilith touching both her Mars and Venus, it amplifies the raw, instinctual flavor of the attraction, creating a deep, sometimes irresistible pull. It can create a relationship that’s emotionally potent, sexually magnetic, and sometimes intense.
We should also talk about their Chiron–North Node conjunction in Libra as a “double whammy.” Since Zendaya’s Chiron connects with Tom’s North Node, she shares her healing experiences and helps him find balance in his life, guiding him toward his true path. But because Zendaya’s North Node also lines up with Tom’s Chiron, the same pattern holds in reverse! This creates a sense of destiny, as though they’re each helping the other fulfill a key part of their soul’s development.
I can’t help but notice their Pluto–Moon conjunction. When these two come together, there’s a powerful, magnetic pull. This isn’t a lighthearted aspect; both people may feel an intense, soul-level connection. There’s a mutual fascination that can make it hard to walk away, even if problems come up. Often, the Pluto person (Zendaya) becomes a bit obsessed with the Moon person (Tom), holding a strong influence over his emotions. In short, this conjunction is incredibly intense and can be life-changing.
They also have a harmonious aspect between his Moon and her Saturn, which really supports a long-term bond. They look out for one another, with her helping to ground his emotions. He trusts her enough to open up about his vulnerabilities, and she understands and guides him.
On top of that, her Ceres is conjunct his Moon—one of the sweetest aspects around. His emotional world clicks perfectly with her nurturing style, so he likely feels, “She just gets me.” It encourages him to let down his guard and trust that she’ll care for him without judgment. Put simply, he sees her as wife material, guys!
Finally, we have her Psyche conjunct his Eros—oh my gosh! In Greek mythology, Eros and Psyche share a legendary love story that’s both physically passionate and spiritually profound. When these two come together astrologically, it often creates an immediate, almost destined sense of attraction. It can feel downright magical, reaching beyond physical desire to resonate on a deeper, more soul-level plane. He may feel especially inspired, while she feels deeply “seen” and understood. It’s like a meeting of body and spirit—a real legendary vibe!
----
That’s all for today, guys! Let me know if this analysis rings true for their relationship, and which celebrity couple you’d like to see next! See ya!

Healing!Re2 Leon
Tumblr media
A/n: So so sorry I haven't posted anything in so long, I genuinely lost my love for writing for I think its been officially been a year since I last wrote something for fun. Don't fact check me on that, but I'm back! I'm trying to let myself just have fun with writing and not take myself so seriously so please be patient with me! Expect a lot of Resident Evil content from me! And don't be afraid to request! I'll be sure to update my request chart!
Summary: Takes place between re2 and re4! Basically just what happened to him after Raccoon city.
Notes: Headcannons, fluff mostly, themes of depression, alcoholism, body issues, gender neutral reader as usual!
Tumblr media
Nothing could've prepared you for the look on his face when he arrived home. Opening your door for him at 11:00 at night, his face silhouetted by the gentle light of your porch lamp. His pale eyes seemed to be looking through you, his face tight with the unconscious clenching of his jaw, his adams apple bobbing faintly. The hum of your porch light filling your head.
Well, that was before you were cupping his face, you couldn't even remember the movement forward, all you could take in was the impact of his embrace. His arms wrapped tightly around you, and if it wasn't for the fact it was twenty degrees out, you'd say he was shaking.
Safe to say he'd move in with you after everything that happened, he needed that sense of security, that familiarity that he'd swear was almost entirely lost on him. He was wordlessly welcomed back into your life.
Though it wasn't all the same, he'd hope it would be, God he really wished. It was weird, having him back around, he was quiet, not in an awkward kind of way, he just didn't feel the need to make his presence known. This isn't to say he doesn't engage in conversation with you, he'll just need more of an obvious cue that you'd like to spark a conversation with him.
Leon won't exactly know what to do with himself, he tried giving himself a week to adjust, then back to the drawing board, that's what he told you. You assured him there was no pressure to jump right back into employment, he'd been through something truly life changing, I mean, it took you two whole months to just get over your dog running away in highshcool.
He'd brush it off of course, he wasn't devastated, at least, not in the way you described, it wouldn't even be anything hard, just something simple. Like retail.
That lasted about two weeks, the first week itself just being job searching, but once he got into the flow and rhythm of stacking supplies in the back of some chain line grocery store, he'd have to quit. That kind of meaningless repetitive work only fed into his existential crisis that had been put on the back burner for far too long.
He'd call you crying during his shift, you'd have to pick him up, parking somewhere close so you could calm him down, he'd spill everything out to you. Rambling on and on about not wanting to spend the prime of his life stacking cans and rearranging produce.
Well at least that's how far he got before embarrassment came crawling up his back, digging its nails into his throat until it felt so tight he couldn't speak.
The drive home would be quiet, not the comfortable kind.
He'd spend a lot of time at home, long enough to where you not its not a phase, and that he's not not getting out of bed without an intervention of some kind.
He admits after weeks of obvious reluctance that he's not ready to work again, he just needs time. You assure him that its completely fine, though you're not entirely sure how much that statement holds true you don't mind picking up some extra shifts if it means comfortably supporting you both.
But that isn't to say he doesn't contribute at all, he's the one preparing all the meals every week. He's the one taking trips to the store, jotting down meal ideas on the pen pad you'd gotten him after the silent acceptance that he'd taken to doing all the cooking.
This goes for chores too, though he wouldn't take to that immediately, he's not used to viewing the house as more then somewhere he eats and sleeps, its only after a comment from you about the disarray of the living room would spark him into action.
After that you haven't seen a speck of dust grace your living room floors since. It's the least he could do since you're funding his identity crisis, well that's what he thinks.
Leon struggles with healthy attachment, he's still not used to the idea that he won't wake up and you'll be gone. Though this doesn't mean he's completely distant.
He does little things to show how much he cares. Like waking up early to prepare your breakfast with a warm cup of coffee, or how he always asks you first what you'd like for dinner.
Though he won't admit it, most days are a struggle. Not every day, but those are the ones where he gets to spend some quality time with you, or he washes it off with a can of beer or two.
He'd hate himself to admit it to you, but he's developed a bit of a drinking problem with all that time at home.
Though once you notice the amount of cans piling up in the recycling he'd guiltily admit that he's been using it to cope, though he doesn't say exactly with what.
You'd encourage him to take up therapy, though he'd hastily deny, you offered him to at least think about it, though the very idea of opening up to a stranger about his problems seemed absolutely absurd.
After a bit of time though, especially when you express your concern with his drinking, he yields.
Of course with the excessive eating of comfort foods and now only occasional drinking, he’d developed a bit of a dad bod. He didn’t seem to notice at first, but one morning it seems to hit him all at once when he inspects himself in the mirror.
He’ll fiddle and prod at the soft pudge dripping from his sides, like the melted wax of a candle. His doughy thighs pressed together. He’s not really sure how to react, all he feels is this sort of disconnection from himself, like the person in the mirror isn’t really him.
He’ll avoid it for months, but the changes are clear to you whether he knows or not. But it doesn’t fail to hit you that he hasn’t walked around without a shirt in weeks, not just a shirt, but the kind that completely engulfs his figure, until he’s practically swimming in material.
You’ll have to intervene at some point, he’ll feel the weight of guilt pressing down onto his shoulders until he humbly admits, yeah, he doesn’t like the way his body looks anymore. You’ll need to have a conversation with him, assure him that it’s okay to gain weight, you don’t love him less just because he’s a little more soft around the middle.
He’ll need you to gently coax him into being more comfortable with showing his body around you. Gently holding his hips when he's making his coffee in the morning, leaning into him when he hugs you, telling him when you think he looks nice. Just little things that really do boost his confidence.
After months of unwavering support from you, he’ll notice the lack of disdain he feels when glancing at his reflection on passing surfaces. He'll be comfortable enough to let his belly breathe from time to time when walking around the house, maybe even offering to shower with you when given the chance.
Of course, progress isn’t linear, he’ll have his days where he wishes more than anything the fat clinging to his frame would melt, like snow dripping from a rooftop against the breath of the morning sun.
But at least now he feels comfortable admitting to you he isn’t always happy being in his own skin, and he knows you won’t try to correct his thoughts, rather then simply reassure him. He’s far from perfect, but more then anything you’re just glad he’s here.

Decode the Universe: Why astrology and tarot are the ultimate power couple! #6 - Final
Aquarius - Jan 20 -Feb 19 : Venus / Mercury / Moon in Aquarius
Venus in Aquarius - King of Swords - "Love me for my mind… or don’t. Either way, I’m good."
These people looks good, thinks even better.
They are loyal but detached.
Their style of romance is an intellectual exercise.
Straight to the point, no sugarcoating.
Logical, futuristic, and somehow attractive? That's Venus in Aquarius for you.
If venus is afflicted, can be cold as ice and too logical in love. Can be too blunt and ignores others opinions.
Mercury in Aquarius - The Fool - "I have no idea what I’m doing… but it’s brilliant!"
Thinks so outside the box, they forgot boxes exist.
Their ideas sound crazy—until they work.
Spontaneous thinker and quirky AF.
They text at 3 AM with life-changing thoughts.
Conversations with them? A rollercoaster.
If mercury is afflicted, they say wild stuff, then watches your reaction like a science experiment. Believe in crazy conspiracy theories. Easily distracted and reckless curiosity. Loves saying weird things just to confuse people - Troll energy.
Moon in Aquarius - The Star - "Weird? Nah, I’m just from the future."
No matter what happens, they believe in the glow-up.
Feelings? Managed. Chaos? Observed, not absorbed.
Always thinking light-years ahead of you.
They have an unconventional wisdom. Might drop life-changing advice mid-meme.
Their dreams are bigger than the solar system.
If moon is afflicted, they love you from a distance. Loses hope easily and gives up easily.
Pisces - Feb 20 - Mar 20 : Saturn / Jupiter / Mars in Pisces
Saturn in Pisces - Knight of Cups - "Hopeless romantic, but with a five-year plan."
These people now love isn’t a fairy tale—but still believes in magic.
Dreams big, but also does the work.
Will write poetry about you and show up on time.
Soft heart, strong spine.
If saturn is afflicted : wants and waits for the perfect moment, which… never comes. Carries emotional baggage - neatly packed. Trust issues and the walls they built for themselves aren't gonna go down soon.
Jupiter in Pisces - Hanged Man - "Going with the flow… straight into another dimension."
Sees life differently. Finds luck in weird places.
Spiritual AF. Probably has deep conversations with ghosts.
Knows things without knowing how they know.
While others rush, they marinate in wisdom.
Believes the universe handles things for them and trusts the divine timing.
If jupiter is afflicted, they could be the master of procrastination. Could be delusional. Zero sense of urgency. Sacrifices too much and cannot pick a path. Could be staying in an abusive relationship and be waiting for the right time to come out.. No, it won't come.
Mars in Pisces - The Moon - "Fighting battles… mostly imaginary ones."
Mysterious AF and a spiritual warrior.
Could be having prophetic dreams.
These people are the defender of underdogs, lost souls, and stray animals.
Can turn daydreams into reality.
If mars is afflicted, jealousy arises. Passive aggressive. Uses guilt as a weapon. Plays the victim and the villain at the same time.
I hope you all liked it. I'll come back tomorrow with another topic and stay tuned!

Falling For It
Part 1
word count - 2,081
Tumblr media
Humming under her breath, y/n waltzed to her last round of the night with a smile. The pediatric ward was finally quiet as the young patients slept. After the nonstop buzz of activity from the emergency rooms and worried families, y/n was ready for a breather.
As she passed the nurses station, her friend Destiney looked up from updating charts on the computer.
"Last hour, huh? Well, aren't you just flying through it?" she said with a smirk. She was well aware of y/n’s eagerness to go home.
“Smooth sailing from here,” y/n agreed, giving Destiney a grin. One more hour and her long awaited couch potato plans could begin.
She was planning a weekend of clubbing with her girlfriends at the bar downtown tomorrow night. Music, getting pretty and fruity cocktails awaited her outside of these cold walls.
y/n checked the time - only 30 minutes left in her shift. Just one more patient to check on before she could call it a night. Grabbing fresh gloves and vitals equipment, she made her way to the last room on her rotation.
Knocking gently before entering, she stepped inside. “Good evening Mr. Hughes, I’m y/n, the CNA on duty,” she introduced herself warmly to the young man sitting up in bed. “I just need to get your vitals and a blood sample if that’s alright.”
The brown-haired patient flashed her a charming smile. "Well Y/N. Lucky you," he said, a self-assured chuckle punctuating his words.
"Meeting someone like me doesn't happen every day," he quipped, his soft blue eyes meeting hers as he extended his arm, waiting for her to wrap the blood pressure cuff around it.
Y/N arched an eyebrow at Jack's confident demeanor, but she couldn't deny the charm that seemed to ooze from every pore of the young man. She nodded, playing along with his game.
"I'll try not to swoon, Mr. Hughes," she replied wryly, deftly velcroing the blood pressure cuff around his sculpted bicep. She couldn't help but notice how fit and strong he looked.
As the cuff inflated and she watched the gauge, y/n added casually, "So how's your pain by the way? Any headaches, dizziness, nausea? Or just a hard head keeping you comfortable?" Her no nonsense tone made it clear she wasn't here to get swept away by his antics.
"Oh there's no pain with you around to ease it," Jack replied smoothly, his voice like velvet. He ran a hand through his artfully mussed black hair. "But maybe a four outta ten. This hard head of mine has taken worse bumps on the ice and kept going."
Y/n maintained her professional composure, ignoring the way Jack's dark brown eyes seemed to gaze right through her. Clearing her throat, Y/n jotted a quick note, acutely aware of his eyes following her every move. The sharp antiseptic scent of the hospital couldn't mask his woodsy cologne.
"Well those other concussions must have rattled some sense into you then," she said. Clearly this patient was accustomed to wrapping girls around his finger with that smooth confidence of his.
Y/n made more small talk with Jack as she worked, carefully noting down his oxygen levels, temperature, pulse rate and blood pressure in his chart. Then she swiftly drew several vials of blood, applying a cottonball over the needle mark on his vein afterwards.
“All done, you did great, Mr. Hughes,” Y/N said with a smile, labeling the blood samples neatly to send to the lab. “Buzz if you need anything else tonight.” As she turned to leave, Jack called out to her.
"Hey, Y/N," he said, a playful glint in his eye. "You know, I wouldn't mind some company tonight. How about you and I grab a drink sometime?"
"While I'm flattered by the offer, I'll have to politely decline drinks, Mr. Hughes," she responded with a quirk of her lips. "Wouldn't want to jeopardize my sterling employee record over a date with a charmer like yourself. Now focus on healing that hard head of yours."
"Will do, gorgeous," Jack replied, "But when I get discharged from this joint, drinks are still on me if you change your mind."
"Goodnight, Mr. Hughes," Y/N said with an exaggerated eye roll, unable to keep a smile from her face as she exited. That man's persistence was almost enough to make her regret having to let him down.
Almost. With a last fond head shake at his antics, she headed to finish her charts, the image of his grinning face lingering in her mind.
Y/n headed home from the hospital. Jersey roads were packed to the brim but finally she made it home. The smell of caramel and pumpkins filled her nose as she kicked off her shoes by the front door before turning on the lights.
Light meows flowed through the hallways bringing a bug smile to her face. The brown tabby cat padded up to the entrance purring and rubbing against y/n’s legs.
After her long shift, y/n was relieved to finally pull into the driveway of her home. The narrow Jersey streets had been jammed as usual for this time of evening, but she didn't mind too much.
The sight of her house with its cheerful fall decorations by the front steps was welcome after a day on her feet at the hospital.
Pushing open the door, y/n breathed deep, enjoying the warm blend of caramel and pumpkin. The aroma made her smile. Fall was her favorite time of year.
Y/n kicked off her shoes, meows filled the hallway as her brown tabby cat came padding over to wind figure eights around her ankles. "Hey sweet boy," y/n murmured, reaching down to scritch under his chin. Hugo rumbled happily, nudging his head against her hand.
After providing Hugo with a fresh scoop of food, y/n poured herself a mug of hot chocolate and sank onto the living room sofa with a content sigh. The house was quiet except for the cat crunching his kibble and the occasional passing car outside.
Y/n was halfway through an episode of Game of Thrones when her phone suddenly vibrated with an incoming text. Then another. And another. With a soft groan, she grabbed the phone to check the influx of messages.
As expected, it was the group chat with her girlfriends blowing up. They always got extra excited leading up to one of their girls night.
"Just booked our table, bitches!" Angie had texted. "Meet at my place no later than 10:30, and yes y/n I mean you" Heather added. Lexi followed up insistently, "y/n don't forget the black top I wanted to borrow!" She quickly typed out a reassurance she hadn't forgotten about tonight or the black top she knew she wasn’t getting back.
As Y/N and her friends approached the club, the frigid air gnawed at their exposed skin, sending shivers down their spines. The lines outside stretched around the building, a testament to the club's popularity on a chilly night like this.
With each step, Y/N felt the chill seeping into her bones, the biting wind tugging at her clothing as they navigated the crowded streets.
"Come on, guys, just a little farther," Ang called out, her voice buoyant despite the cold as she navigated through the throng of people with ease. "We're almost there!"
Finally reaching the promoter line, Y/N watched as Ang worked her magic, effortlessly securing their entry into the club. As the bouncer scanned their IDs, she couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement coursing through her veins, the cold all but forgotten.
They were ushered in one by one, the bouncer's practiced eye scanning each of them before granting entry.
Y/N hurried inside, grateful to escape the biting cold that nipped at her legs, her breath forming puffs of vapor in the chilly air. As she stepped into the warmth of the club, the pulsating beat of the music washed over her, drowning out the winter chill and setting the stage for a night of excitement and adventure.
She made a beeline for the bar while her friends headed to the table, eager to start the night off with a buzz. A group of guys already occupied the bar, their boisterous laughter filling the air as they bantered back and forth.
Squeezing in next to them, Y/N caught the bartender's attention and ordered a lemon drop martini, her go-to choice for starting the night off right. As she waited for her drink, she couldn't help but eavesdrop on the conversation happening beside her.
The guys were deep in discussion about hockey, Y/N watched with interest as the bartender expertly prepared her drink, her eyes flicking between the group and the skilled mixologist behind the bar. Y/N raised her glass in a silent toast to the night ahead.
With a satisfied smile, she took a sip, letting the sweet tang of the cocktail wash over her palate as she settled in to enjoy the lively atmosphere of the club.
"So, you like hockey?” The guy at the bar turned towards Y/N with a wide grin. She was caught off guard by his sudden question. "Oh, uh, well, I don't really have a favorite team," she admitted with a sheepish laugh. "I mean, I enjoy watching games sometimes, but I'm not really die-hard about it."
The guy nodded, his smile widening. "That's cool, that's cool," he said, leaning casually against the bar. "I'm a player. I play in Canada, but my friends are on the Jersey devils."
Just then, Lexi bounded up beside Y/N, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she twirled her hair flirtatiously. "Hey there," she said, flashing the guy a dazzling smile. "I couldn't help but overhear you talking about hockey. I'm Lexi, by the way."
The guy's eyes lit up as he turned his attention to Lexi, his grin widening. "Hey, Lexi," he replied, extending his hand. "I'm Quinn. Nice to meet you." They exchanged pleasantries, Y/N couldn't help but chuckle at Lexi's boldness, grateful for the distraction from her own thoughts.
Lexi's sudden interjection caught Y/N off guard, her eyebrows shooting up in surprise at her friend's audacity. "Um, yeah, we have a table," she added, her tone a bit too eager as she subtly placed her hand on the guy's bicep.
Y/N couldn't help but roll her eyes at Lexi's not-so-subtle attempt at flirting. It was classic Lexi, always boy-crazy and never one to shy away from making her intentions known.
The guy, Quinn, seemed taken aback by Lexi's forwardness but recovered quickly, a charming smile spreading across his face. "That sounds great," he replied, his gaze flicking between Y/N and Lexi. "We'd love to join you."
Y/N sighed inwardly, resigned to the fact that her night was about to get a lot more interesting with Lexi's antics in full swing. As they made their way back to the table, she couldn't help but shake her head at her friend's boldness.
The night wore on and the drinks flowed freely, Y/N felt the effects of the alcohol hit her harder than she expected. With the group of boys that had joined them, drinks were poured endlessly, laughter filling the air as they exchanged stories and shared jokes.
Quinn suggested that they all come to a Devils game next week while he was in Jersey. The other boys nodded in agreement, meanwhile, the girls exchanged knowing giggles.
When the venue lights eventually flickered on to signal the end of the evening, Quinn turned to Lexi "Hey, we should exchange numbers, for the game and all.” He asked a bit shyly, Lexi grinned before nodding eagerly as she fished her phone out of her purse, exchanging numbers with Quinn
Quinn and the guys said their farewells to Y/N and her friends. Amid plenty of smiles all around, plans were set for the upcoming hockey game. The girls excitedly piled into their Uber, eager chat filling the car. "Oh my gosh, Quinn was so cute!" Lexi gushed. "Right?" the others chorused, laughter and smiles all around.
"That Jesper was a total sweetheart.," Ang added. Y/N grinned, shaking her head affectionately at her lovestruck friends. Their lively banter continued as they reminisced over the fun night.
Y/N certainly enjoyed meeting Quinn's upbeat group, but her thoughts did stray for a moment to Jack from the hospital. Sprinkled with cheerful squeals whenever their favorite hockey team's recent match came up, the girls' bubbly conversation flowed freely the whole ride back.
Send ya girl some feedback. I feel like this part was so bad, hopefully you like it tho 😃

BTAS pre-production stuff/official designs and artstyle stuff
Don't mind the title, I'm a bit naff at titling things...
I'm sure people have made posts about it before, but just in case there's anyone that doesn't know, there's official documents on BTAS floating around the net. Things covering episode writing, bios, a bunch of art that animators would have used. Whole lot of stuff.
I've seen people ask questions/have discussion on things like imitating the style/character heights/other general things. These documents are all official and might be helpful so, hey, might as well share for those not in the know.
Gonna keep it short (I'll provide some links so you can check out for yourself as there's a lot I won't cover) but I'll outline some stuff that catches my eye (first bit is about pre-production and ideas they had, second bit is stuff about how they went about drawing/designing the characters)
Pre-production
In animation, it's standard to have a thing called a writer's bible, also called an animation bible. They include everything from plot synopsis, character/concept art, character bios, episode ideas, basically the whole nine yards. These are used mainly in the early stages to pitch ideas and get projects greenlit, but are also kept around as a handy shortform thing to summarise the whole project as much as possible.
As it turns out, the BTAS writer's bible has been extensively documented! There's a PDF of it actually! And if you don't want a PDF, there's a website that covers all the contents too.
As per writer's bibles, it has a ton of their ideas and direction they wanted to take with the show, from episode structure to joke writing right down to how much settings should be able to change per-episode. There's a whole lot of art too! Here's a snippet about some of the changes they wanted to make with the Dark Knight himself:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And just for fun let's also leave some info about how they approached writing Bruce Wayne:
Tumblr media
Anyway! On a more interesting topic- some of the rogues. The bios of most of the rogues are included, as are some art of earlier designs. Riddler looks like a sleezy car salesman and Joker is kinda just missing his lips and has stripy pants is seems.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also of note: in some alternative timeline somewhere we could have had Calendar Man and Gentleman Ghost in BTAS...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As for character heights... The height chart is sectioned into "head" height for Batman's head. The uppermost line is Batman's height, so Batman is 8 Batman heads tall. While it can be hard to make out some of the character heights due to the poses, it'd be safe to guess that you do take poses into account on the height chart. Two-Face is shorter on the chart than Harvey is for example but you'll notice that Two-Face's art shows his head tilted down slightly, so Two-Face isn't actually shorter it's just his pose.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You'll notice these characters are uncoloured. The colour palettes featured are an interesting point that deserve their own post. I'll touch on them another time.
Style Guides / Character Sheets
Style guides tell animators how to correctly draw characters. Can also be applied for things like backgrounds and props and the likes though, whatever feels needed to be noted to keep consistency even if other people are drawing the characters.
Character sheets are character sheets. 'Nuff said. These just show off a character looks from different angles. Expression sheets showing how character emote, art on full-body posing and sheets on hand poses are things that also tend to be covered in animated productions.
Can be found here and here. A lot of overlap in the art shown between the two links but they're absolutely full of character sheets and turn-arounds. There's definitely a lot more design documents I've seen about in other places, but alas, I can't track them down for the life of me.
Here's some highlights:

(When Twoface blinks only his good eye closes completely. His injured eye only partially closes)
Tumblr media
("John Crane")
Some early character art:

If you made it this far then congrats here's some Batmen for your troubles

The Baby Doctor
Reposting this because it seems to have disappeared from this blog for some reason! Enjoy!
This wasn't supposed to happen! She was never supposed to be here. She was a smart, intelligent, capable woman. She had graduated from medical school for God's sake. But, she had pissed off the wrong nurse. Now, here she was, helplessly her diapers for the entertainment of the whole labor and delivery night shift.
It has been the third week of Dr. Bun's residency. She was on the tail end of a horrendous on-call shift. She was working through her charts and, in her delirium, got sloppy in her attention to detail. She accidentally ordered that one of her patients should be given a deadly amount of pain killers to deal with post-delivery pain.
Luckily for her patient, the doctor supervising the young doctor did not trust her yet. He caught her mistake, fixed it, then tracked down Dr. Bun to give her some aggressive constructive criticism. That's where Dr. Bun fucked up.
Rather then owning her mistake and promising to do better, Dr. Bun deflected the blame onto the nursing staff. Specifically, she alleged the nurse treating the patient, Nurse Angela, must have got in the system and messed up the order. Dr. Bun's supervisor was skeptical, but chose to trust his newest charge. He let the resident off with a warning and went to give the nurse a piece of his mind.
Unfortunately for Dr. Bun, the software the hospital used to treat patients kept careful record of precisely who made what orders. Fortunately for the girl, however, her supervisor had no idea that software has that capability. Nurse Angela, in the other hand, was very aware of it.
A couple of days later, when Dr. Bun was back in the hospital changing into her scrubs for the shift, Nurse Angela walked into the room holding two things--a print out from the record keeping software pinning the deadly medication order on Dr. Bun and a bulky, white adult diaper.
"Dr. Bun, I have a bone to pick with you. You pinned a potentially deadly mistake on me when, both you and I know I had nothing to do with it," Nurse Angela said. "That sort of dishonest, manipulative behavior is something I'd expect from a naughty toddler, not a doctor."
Dr. Bun began to feel upset at being challenged so directly by a person she considered beneath her.
"I didn't lie! You must have screwed up my orders, nurse," Dr. Bun, spitting out the word nurse as if it was the worst epithet imaginable.
Nurse Angela just calming walked up to the young, arrogant doctor and handed her the print out of the record confirming Dr. Bun's mistake.
"That is not what this says. Did you know dishonesty is a fireable offense at this hospital? One that the hospital reports to the medical board as well as any future employers?" Nurse Angela asked rhetorically. The older nurse smiled as the young woman's face dropped.
"I… uh… I'm so sorry! I'll do anything to make this up to you! Anything, just, please, don't tell anyone!" The resident pleaded.
The nurse's grin widened, becoming predatory. She motioned with the white, fluffy object in her other hand.
"Well, like I said Doctor, you've been acting more like a toddler than the responsible adult you are supposed to be. I think you need a reminder of that at all times from now on. Until I decide otherwise, if you want to keep your job here, you will wear and use one of these at all times when you are at work. The hospital's bathrooms are off limits to you, and, like the naughty toddler you are, you are not allowed to change yourself. If you want your wet or messy butt changed, you will have to track down one of the nurses in my labor and delivery unit and convince them to change you, understood?"
The young woman had no idea how to respond to that. Her eyes darted between the document in her hand and the bulky adult diaper being held by the nurse. Thoughts of being fired and her career being ruined darted through her head. She couldn't afford to pay back her student loans if she wasn't working as a doctor.
Backed into a corner, Dr. Bun did the only thing she could. She accepted Nurse Angela's offer.
Dr. Bun immediately found herself changed into the first of what would be many diapers by the nurse in the locker room. The next few weeks were full of humiliation and torment for the doctor as she adjusted to her knew position as the nursing units pet toddler, but, eventually her work days fell into a comfortable pattern.
She would use the restroom just prior to leaving work to minimize the risk of messy 'accidents.' She'd report to work where one of the nurses would help her get dressed for her shift. Then, she would proceed with her day as normal, seeking out a nurse for a change when she felt her diaper get too full.
Yes, it was humiliating to have the waistband of her scrubs pulled back or her crotch squeezed by another woman to have her diaper checked. Yes, it sucked laying on a locker room bench while her ass was wiped by someone she considered her subordinate. However, the human mind was resilient and could get used to anything once it happened enough.
Plus, her new situation has some benefits. She was getting praised by her supervisors for how well she worked with the nursing staff. Plus, not having to run to the bathroom all the time gave her more freedom to care for her patients. After a month as the hospital's diapered doctor, Dr. Bun would actually describe things as going well.
Nurse Angela was happy to see Dr. Bun's turn around, but noticed she was starting to get cocky again. The positive reviews from her supervisors lead her to once again become increasingly condescending towards the nursing staff. So, to remind the young doctor of her position, the nurse made Dr. Bun another offer she couldn't refuse.
That's how the young, professional woman with a medical degree found herself here. Nurse Angela has thrown a special, team building party at her home for all of her fellow labor and delivery nurses. The young doctor was also invited as entertainment.
When Dr. Bun arrived, she was stripped of her adult clothes. She was diapered, put in an childish shirt with padded mittens, and had a pacifier slipped in her mouth. She was instructed she was nothing more than a baby for the evening, not allowed to speak, walk, or care for herself in anyway. Worst of all, a suppository was shoved up her cute little bottom.
A baby blanket was laid in the middle of Nurse Angela's living room and she was instructed to stay on it. As her co-workers arrived and began to surround her, cooing at her like she was an actual baby, the babified doctor's stomach began to rumble and cramp. Once the last guest arrived, she couldn't take it anymore. Tears of embarrassment running down her face, Dr. Bun got onto all fours, sticking her diapered ass into the air as a wet fart escaped her butt cheeks.
Nurse Angela looked down and smiled. She drew everyone's attention to the scene. "Look everyone, I think the baby's about to make a stinky for us!"
Dr. Bun's coworkers laughed as they watched her lose control. Closing her eyes and grunting loudly, Dr. Bun pushed out a huge load of crap into her bulky diaper. She closed her eyes as she did it, pretending she was anywhere but here. While she had messed herself before, and many of these women had in fact changed one of her messy diapers, it had never been so public and so humiliated. The nurses cheered the doctor on as she debased herself like an infant for enjoyment.
When the doctor was finished, Nurse Angela beant down and whispered in her ear. "Remember doctor, no matter how good you are at your job or how many accolades you receive, to us, you will never be more than a stupid, untrustworthy little baby. Now sit in your mess and play with your toys. It's going to be a long night."
Dr. Bun could only do as she was told, suck on her pacifier and cry as she came to terms with the fact that she'd be these nurses plaything for the rest of her life.

Random Astrology Observation 3
Tumblr media
Hi and welcome to my another random astrology observation. I like this series, 'cause I have a free will to choose any placement to discuss about and I hope you do like it too. This observation might be related to both Western and Vedic astrology. Take it as it resonates and leave what does not resonate with you. Cool, we can start now!
Whoever natives have aspect between Mercury and Neptune, I feel sorry for these people, especially if they still go to school. Mercury is about learning, while Neptune is about illusions, so these people may not see things clearly or they can't communicate effectively. They can have a hard time processing informations and they may interpret things way more different than other students/people. Because of that, they might seem stupid or blunt to others, which may not be the case. Believe me, I have Mercury conjunct Neptune in my natal chart and although I can be creative and intuitive with this placement, I also have a hard time with having a conversations with the people who are close to me, because I interpret informations differently, which makes it seem that I don't listen to them at all.
Transit Pluto has been placed in Aquarius since January this year and we already see its influence in this sign. Some people from the upper class and even celebrities are exposed for their shady things they have done in the past, since Pluto represents exposing the truth, while Aquarius is about collectives, revolutions, changes for a higher good etc. In Vedic astrology, this pattern can be seen by the transit Saturn in Shatabhisha nakshatra in Aquarius, 'cause Saturn represents punishment and Shatabhisha nakshatra is about the hidden things we don't see or we don't even know about. This transit was relevant at the beginning of this year.
Tumblr media
Speaking of transit Pluto in Aquarius, since this planet has been placed in my natal 1st house, I started to experience many spiritual awakenings and transformations I don't think I've ever experienced before. I actually had the spiritual awakening somewhere in 2018/19, when transit Pluto was conjuncting my natal Venus in Capricorn and Venus is my 9th house ruler in my natal chart, which is the house of spirituality. I cannot imagine what would happen to me when the transit Pluto will tightly conjunct my natal Ascendant.
In the context of predictions through transit, it's always important to see if some transit planet is currently aspecting your natal planets, not just looking in which your natal house the transit planet is placed. For example, I'll use the transit Jupiter in Gemini. For Sagittarius Rising natives, they've mostly heard that this transit planet is going to be in their natal 7th house of long-term relationships and marriage, which might be the flourishing time for this native if they want to find a new partner. But if they have a Saturn in Gemini in their natal chart, forming a conjunction aspect with the transit Jupiter, it's not going to be very well, because Saturn is about restrictions and hardships. If some of these natives don't have any planets in their 7th house, it's crucial then to look for their 7th house ruler, Mercury. If Mercury, as their 7th house ruler, is placed in Libra and forms a trine aspect with the transit Jupiter, then they can expect some new love to come into their lives.
Tumblr media
Overall, that would be everything for today. This will be one of the shortest observations I've ever made, but I hope you won't mind it. The reason why it took me so long to make another post is that I've become busy in my private life. Because I don't have much time for astrology, my personal paid readings will be closed on July 19, 2024 at 10:26 AM UTC, but I'll still be active and make astrology posts here on Tumblr. So, if someone wants to book a reading with me, you can do that until July 19 this year. I hope my readings will be open as soon as possible, but I can't promise you anything so far. Regardless, I wish you all had a beautiful day ahead.
Best regards,
Paky McGee

Tis a niche of its own
Sorry there is only two female characters, I kinda pulled these off the top of my head and probably missed a ton of other candidates. Reblog with an addition if you have one!
Edit: I forgot to make this poll a week long! Once this poll ends I'll remake it with new additions depending on the results (the characters with the fewest results will be replaced with suggested characters from the notes so be sure to suggest some!) in the meantime tho plz reblog to increase sample size
This follows my own definition of what "Comic Relief" means: A character that is used as a conduit for comedy in a piece of media
Through character studies I have determined that there are 5 types of comic relief: the Character Relief, the Audience Relief, the Tone Shifter, the Butt of the Joke, and the Slapstick. Characters that identify as "Comic Relief" usually fall into one or more of these categories
Further explanation under the cut
The Character Relief refers to a character who actively makes jokes to be funny in-universe through conscious humor. Examples from this poll would be Sans and Rayla, who go out of their way to make their friends laugh
The Audience Relief refers to a character who makes the audience laugh regardless of their impact on the story. Examples from this poll would be Lapis and Gus, who are often involved in comedic bits meant for audience entertainment that aren't acknowledged by the narrative as anything unprecedented
The Tone Shifter refers to a character who makes jokes to relieve tension and shift the tone of a scene, either consciously or unconsciously. Examples from this poll would be Jay and Leo, as they both consciously make jokes about grim situations to help their friends or family feel better. Additionally, Jay would do this unconsciously before his trauma made him start doing it on purpose
The Butt of the Joke refers to a character who is made fun of by other characters in-universe, whether endearingly or not. Examples from this poll would be Dewey and Lance, who are often met with insults whenever they do something wrong or silly. The insults are usually meant to be endearing and comedic, but they can still feed into the character's possible inferiority complex. This also applies whenever a villain hits them with a sick burn*
The Slapstick refers to a character who is made fun of by the narrative and the audience like a punching bag. Examples from this poll would be Sokka and Yusuke, who are sometimes put in troubling and awkward situations as a gag for the audience's entertainment alone. These gags are not fun for the characters yet delightful to watch
Most comic relief characters can be characterized as multiples of these. For example, Jar-Jar from Star Wars is both Slapstick and Audience Relief, and even if you don't find his jokes funny that doesn't change the fact that they were written with your entertainment in mind
If you're curious how a "The Narrative's Favorite (derogatory)" character would fit into this chart, they're likely both a Butt of the Joke and a Slapstick character, making their life absolute hell. To be honest, MK from Monkie Kid is an example of a character who fits all 5 categories, but he isn't blue so he isn't in this poll
*Ok if you've ever seen Phineas and Ferb Mission Marvel let me just say MODOK is a total Butt of the Joke and my favorite line in that special is when a TV announcer calls him a "Giant Chicken Egg with a Face" and I just had to mention that omg

HIS REFERENCE SHEET IS REAL CHAT ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tumblr media
Yippee less goooooo, you can now know how the hell this man's outfit finally works now.
You guys can actually make him, with ✨COLORS✨
Honestly, making colors that would match him was really hard. It took me about a week to actually figure it all out just because of how hard it is and how I wanted it to be close to a star aesthetic.
Buttttt I got it all sorted out and to be honest, the result isn't too bad if I do say so myself.
After finishing the colors, it went all easy thankfully, I didn't really have to think that much about his Mario recolor form.
FUN FACT : He came right after the Revelations arc ended =3333333
Tumblr media
Relationship chart because yes
Some of the characters uhhh text things are kinda meh cuz my brain ain't braining rn.
Sadge =[
But heyyyyy, at least y'all can now know his relationships yippee =DDDDDDDD
ALSO DO NOT MISTAKE HIS PINK ARROWS AS AFFECTION HE JUST ADMIRES THEM
But I don't really mind if you actually-
Uhhhhhhh deez nutz he can be shipped with anyone, as long as it's not someone he hates, like a certain tv someone =3
So now that that's done.... LET'S HAVE AT IT SOME FUN FACTS!!!!!
He was actually meant to be a silly villain, something like Storms oc, SMG8 =3 buttttt I saved that for later and changed him into a different character.
That human form you're looking at right now ain't even his true form, his true form is that weird star thing!!! Crazyyyy
Speaking about his star form, while in that form, he only speaks in speech bubbles, and is inaudible.
He was meant to be a ✨blondie✨ but after a test I found out it wasn't really the best color so why not use that uh.... Random ass hair color =D
He's got powers to fend off viruses ofc, but I'll do that for a later post, maybe I'll link it from here if I post it =]
Anddddd that's about all =DDDD
I'll probably think of more and probably update this post behind yalls backs lmao
But it'll probably not happen soon.
Anyways, you can now draw him, AND ask question for this man through my ask box, yippeeeeeee =DDDDDDDD
And uhh.... Yeah. Yeetus!!! =3
HAH! YOU REALLY THOUGHT THAT WAS THE END?
Naive people /silly
I actually just wanted to add some special thanks for some people that deserve to be here for a sec =3
@strange0-0storm
The first insp for this man!!! He helped me form GSP the most. I remember that one post he made and I think it was a question thing. I think the question was how did he make 8 or something. Idk I don't remember it much.
But in that post, he stated that he made 8 by making an opposite or something, and that sparked an idea for some reason lmao.
You can see some opposite accessories from him that are opposites of both 4 n' 3. Like the weird ahhhh shaped hat, him having glasses, him actually wearing a suit or something, and him having long, beautiful hair ✨
I uh.... Explained that terribly did I? AHSOSHSOSHISHEISHS THIS IS WHY I DON'T EXPLAIN STUFF RAHHHHHHH
Oopsies I'll get back to the thing =3
Anyways, yeah, as you can see, 8 was a big inspiration for this man, even sparking the idea of making him the same silly lil villain like 8 =3
I thank Storm so much for the huge insp, really helped make him!!!!!
@tiredsmashbros
This man was literally inspired by TSB... GUHH... This man is everywhere I swear....
BUT SERIOUSLY THO TSB WAS ANOTHER HUGE INSPIRATION BESIDES 8!!!!
TSB helped me arrange some of the colors, especially taking some inspiration from the orange and yellow =3
Funny thing but I sometimes accidentally draw GSP with a propeller like TSB on his head because I sometimes mistake him with TSB kshsisuwosossh
The name 'GSP' was also inspired by TSB! Seeing as the name meant TiredSmashBros, I thought if using PurpDrawsThings but when I realized that didn't fit, I just made up random shit lmaooooo
Sooooo yeah! Thank you Tomm for TSB helping me on how to arrange colors and also making his name =3
@its-a-me-mango
Not really seen here but when I said he was supposed to be a blondie and it didn't fit, I suddenly thought of Mango's hair 😭
I was like "Am I really sure I wanna use that"
Then I tested out different hues... Saturations... Andddddd nothing worked 💀 so I was like- "y'know what? Fuck it. I'mma just do it."
Anddddd that's how his hair was born ❤
Also another huge thanks for Mango is insp for the relationship chart! I remember Mango's relationship chart having some text so I decided to do that =]
Sooooo uh... Yeah! Thank you Mango for helping me make his hair and relationship chart idea lmao 😭😭
And that's about all!!!
Like actually fr this time.
These three were just huge inspirations on making him, and I can't thank them enough 😭
THANK YOU 3!!!! LOVE Y'ALL!!!!!
anyways, I'mma go and rest my fingers because I feel like they're actually breaking /silly
YEETUS MY BEANS!!!

witchy vision board ideas and tips
Tumblr media
with 2025 on the horizon, resolutions and goals are on the forefront of some of our minds.
i want to start by saying i usually celebrate the "new year" on the spring equinox or the start of aries season. if you feel like now is not the time for you to start new aspirations, that is normal! listen to your intuition. it doesn't really make sense to me for a new beginning to start in winter. however, if you feel called to make changes now like i did, a vision board is a beautiful way to help you visualize your goals and stay on track. there is never a "right time" to change your life.
most know what a vision board entails - pictures and quotes that represent your goals. i used to just make a vision board and hang it somewhere random, expecting it to do the work for me. obviously that has never worked. so this year, i made sure to make it huge and place in a spot i see every single day. you want to be actively engaging with your board every day and giving it the power to help you achieve your goals.
pictures and quotes are great, but there is so much more you can add to the energy of your board! you're essentially turning it into a spell. and if you're in the broom closet, it\ can be easily blended into the other stuff on the board.
colors: color magic is the easiest thing to incorporate onto your board. use specific colors to invoke different emotions and intentions for your goals, like pink or red for self-love, silver for intuition, and brown or green for grounding. you can also just include your favorite colors, or pick a color scheme for the entire thing.
affirmations: to make your goals a little easier to visualize, include affirmations throughout. i wrote my favorite ones around the pictures so they're there for me to read, but not the main focus point. if you want, you could also make a little corner or section for them. get creative! just pick affirmations that correlate to your goals, and say them each time you look at your board.
sigils: sigils are 1. easy to make and 2. easy to personalize. you could make multiple for the different goals you have, or what i did was pick an intention that was an umbrella for most of mine and just used that. you have so much freedom with your board, do what feels right to you! just make sure you charge it as needed.
physical elements: instead of using only pictures to represent your goals, get creative and think of other ways you could symbolize them. for example, happiness is a big goal for me this year, so i glued a dried orange peel to my board. the most simple things can help bring your intentions to life.
herbs and crystals: an obvious one, but pick out herbs and crystals that best align with your goals for the year, and glue them on. it doesn't have to be fancy, regular glue worked fine for me! i made a pie wheel of mustard seed, mugwort, and rose petals on mine.
symbols for your deities: if you work with deities, including them in your board is a beautiful way to honor them and ask for their help in your manifestations and desires. you could have images of them, or include symbols, like a key for Hekate.
astrology chart: if there is a certain area of your chart you'd like to activate or bring attention to, add it! like this year, i'll be transition into an important profection year for me. you can add a zodiac or planet's symbol, or even make a mini drawing of a specific house and what's inside of it.
before you start your board, i would meditate and journal. reflect on the past and figure out what has and hasn't worked for you. what you aren't changing, you're choosing. ask yourself:
what are my top goals for the year? how can i implement these into my routine to make them achievable?
what am i leaving behind that no longer serves me?
what limiting belief do i need to challenge?
if you're feeling lost, picking a theme out of your goals is a great way to start. for example, if some of your goals are to get connected with nature, make more money, and cook more, then i'd make the majority of the board a green, earthy theme. if your goals are to exercise more and do better in work or school, then make discipline your theme. find quotes that help keep you on track.
your board can be digital, but seeing it every day is key. i recommend a physical board if you can so you can touch and meditate with it each day. the most important thing is have fun! put on some good music, get your favorite snacks, gather your friends and family. let your intuition guide you into knowing what you need to focus on for the year.
thanks for reading! any questions, please feel free to ask! and here is a picture of my board as an example :)
