Periodically we like to put out WAXING TIPS of the day! Here we're using Chalk Paint® Black Wax, but the same principles go for other semi-solid waxes: . #1) Your waxes should be going on like butter! If you're fighting with any stickiness from the get-go, your wax has dried out a bit and needs to be warmed up. Stick someplace warm for 10 minutes or so, even outside for a little bit. Please don't melt completely though! . #2) Something that may help prevent your wax from firming up too much is not working directly out of the can. We're totally guilty of this sometimes too but... it'll keep your reserve air tight and you can scoop your working amount out on a paper plate or lid. . 3)A little wax goes a long way, with medium pressure with your brush during application. Make sure it get on your brush evenly.
