god i can’t stop thinking about how the (core) death family really is such a well fitting puzzle that when even one piece js gone it shows and affects the rest :(

like the death family is incomplete without qmissa, he carries such a huge role in the emotional wellbeing of things, he shines were qphil lacks; the death family is incomplete without qphil, the man consistently keeping the kids alive and fed, he can keep the kids alive but he struggles with the things beyond it, things beyond mere survival; and the kids, we saw how thoroughly their absence affected qphil and qmissa, how tallulah sleeping alone at her old home made the bunker feel so empty and incomplete, how without chayanne this little family would’ve never been formed in the first place. they all fulfill roles that no one else can perform in their place, tallulah and qmissa carry the artistic side and emotional knowledge of the family, qphil and chayanne carry the survivalist aspect of the family with experience and cooking. the family has had to adapt to the absence of members in the past, especially when the kids disappeared, and the toll it takes shows so clearly every time. they are only truly complete with each other, they are a family with so many troubles and ailments that could so easily be fixed by just them all being present, and yet they’re cursed to always miss one. they are always stuck adapting and filling roles to make up for an absence, and crumbling under the pressure each time

q!philza is one of the most lovely persons on qsmp; the way he loves his kids and protect every egg not matter what is so endearing to me when you understand they’re the company of a hurt and lonely crow, with years of experience, now he has two little souls expecting to follow his steps and he tries his best to keep the innocence of them in a sickening island.

This is mostly going to be for my dear Jumblr community because I know we're all going through A LOT right now, so if i can help even one person I'll be very happy already. Of course others can also use this information, it's always useful.

It's made pretty clear from Gun's "POV" (it isn't really a POV but narration extends to his thoughts sometimes) that he has no intention of murdering Sky.

He kind of breaks Sky's mind by showing him photos from the original assault- which Sky never knew existed- and claims he showed them to Prapai (the angle the photos are taken at, Sky's face is obscured so it isn't immediately clear it's non-consensual), and that Prapai was disgusted and threw Sky to Gun.

Gun intends to assault Sky at the condo for the duration of the races, then some other men will come and get him and Sky and take them to a second location, where Gun will let them assault him as long as they want.

Then, Gun will reveal Prapai never saw those photos, possibly take more during the planned attack, and use them to blackmail Sky to keep him from reporting the new attack to anyone.

Prapai and Payu show up pretty close to the end of the race (even though they leave early), so that's why Payu calls Chai and guards the door instead of going to help Rain and Prapai save Sky. Because those guys are due any second (and neither Payu nor Chai intends for them to escape).

As much as Chai is loving this ambassador gig, it's still nice to have a day off. It turns out that representing a major project line from a huge international company is a lot of work! And sometimes, a guy just needs to kick back and spend the entire afternoon playing arcade games.

And, look, he hasn't had the chance to do that in a while, okay? That's his excuse, at least, for why he's so absorbed in clearing another level that he doesn't notice anything around him, including 808's paw urgently patting at his leg, until the cat finally loses patience and rolls into ball mode, zooming up to hover in front of his nose.

"Hey!" Chai says, shoving at her with one hand. "808! What the...?!" He tilts his head to try to see past her, but she bobs sideways, blocking his view again.

In-game, mobbed by enemies, Chai's avatar expires in a burst of light. Chai groans and slaps his hands down on the controls in exasperation. "Aww, come on! I had a good run going! What gives?"

808 uncurls in midair and lands nimbly on the control board. All four feet braced wide, she lifts her chin and glares at Chai, with frustration written all over her cute little face, and stamps one paw emphatically.

"Whoa!" Chai flinches back, startled. Satisfied that she has his full attention, 808 leaps down and scampers away, down the steps and past Mac's punching bag, toward the workbench that he and Peppermint share. Chai follows her, puzzled...

hello my dear! as i was falling asleep last night i thought about your oceans 8 kimchay au again and then this thing popped out of me as soon as i woke up:

Kim surveys the gallery with a nonchalant air. "So what exactly am I stealing?" 

"My heart," mumbles Chay.

"What?"

"What?" Chay looks at her audio controls, and sure enough, her mic is on. 

Shit. 

"Uhh, art. I said art."

"Okay," laughs Kim. "I deserved that. But seriously, Chay, what art am I stealing?" 

Chay eyes Kim's image on the security footage. Even on the grainy screen she looks better than everything else in the room.

"It's that sculpture 45 degrees to your right."

"This hideous thing?"

"Well, it's worth 2.4 million USD."

Chay can hear the scowl in Kim's next words, "Why do rich people have such bad taste?"

"P'Kim, aren't you rich too?"

Kim's laugh sets Chay's ears on fire. "Okay, to be fair, most of my life consists of choices made in bad taste. And the rest… well there's more than one way to bad, isn't there, Chay?"

"Can you two please stop flirting on the channel? I don't want to hear this."

"Je!" Chay nearly screams into her mic, but she manages to rein it down to an outraged whisper at the last minute. "As if this is as bad as the time we walked in on you and Kinn having sex on the couch?"

"It's not my fault you barged in," whines Porsche.

"It was in the living room? In a shared space?? In the middle of the afternoon???" Chay feels nauseous just thinking about it. She hasn't so much as looked at that couch, never mind sit in it, since The Incident.

Chay can see Kim nodding on the screen, as if she's contemplating one of the paintings on the wall. "She's right, Porsche. One of these days I'm going to burn that couch."

That of course spurs Kinn to open her big mouth. "We'll just have sex on the new couch."

"Oh, fuck you," says Kim.

"Yes, I will," says Porsche.

"I quit. Can I quit? I suddenly don't want to be here. Chay, meet me at the coffee shop around the corner. Kinn, Porsche, the two of you can steal this shitty trinket yourselves. I don't need a cut of the 2.4 million. This isn't worth it." 

Kim's mic feed goes dead and Chay tracks her annoyed power walk through the various camera feeds.

Hell yeah! Chay fist bumps in celebration. A date with Kim is worth way more than 2.4 million.

now they're gonna have a cute little coffee date with kim (in her incognito casing a joint clothes?) which is like a very gay leather jacket and ripped jeans, big boots. grunge art school student style. while chay just beams at her with big eyes and holds her hand. kim orders her everything on the menu

also repeat this in the future. kim dressed up fancy fancy (cape, we all know which one) abandoning some gala job to hole up in a late night take out joint, ethereally pretty and jewellery sparkling in the dingy decor while chay sits across from her, smiling adoringly. that's her girl!! chay proceeds to order her everything on the menu
