it wasn’t really a party, just more of a get together with friends. Gale poking around the wine, Sam trying to get comfortable, the twins getting into a disagreement, Kirby calling in. It was nice.

and Sidney….

well she was on her way. You hadn’t really seen her in all honesty lately.

“hey pretty lady.” Chad jokes as he comes to sit down beside you. “Hey dipshit.” You joke with a sweet smile which causes Chad to laugh.

he’s like an older brother sometimes.

“why so down?” He suddenly asks which caused a bit of confusion. You never really noticed how you’ve been acting.

“oh- I didn’t notice. Guess I’m just really calm.” You shrug softly. “Want a drink?” Chad suggests with s funny lifted eyebrow. Maybe you could use one.

“sure. Why not?” And with that the night almost turns into a party.

then you hear the door open!

you and gale immediately turn to see Sidney Prescott in all her glory. She looks so beautiful and peaceful.

in your tipsy state a part of you immediately wants to go over and hug her. But you decide not to as she starts greeting everyone warmly.

when she greets you, you’re thankfully able to keep your call. Even though she’s sweet you can tell she looks at you a tiny bit confused. She can tell you’ve been getting a tiny bit tipsy.

“oh! Hi Sidney!” You say sweetly. You look a bit cute in this state admittedly.

she just chuckles as she puts down some boxes. “Hey y/n.”

after a while you feel a tiny bit nervous and drink some water to sober up the tiny bit of you that was tipsy.

you head back to the kitchen to finish and when you’re about to come back out you’re stopped by Sidney. She looks down at you and you don’t realize when you’re pressed up against the middle of the threshold. “y/n right? I need to ask you a question…” she says and you give a more calm and collected nod. “Go on.” You say confidently.

“where did you learn how to dress?” Sidney asks but the thing is it’s not conniving or rude. It’s almost complementing. “You look really.”

she spoke with a small smirk like smile. “Oh thank you. You look pretty good yourself.” You give a small but innocent smirk. You’re trying to play everything off.

“look up.” And with that you look up and your eyes immediately widen. I look back to Sidney with nervous but happy eyes before you feel the kiss.

it’s quick but makes you feel things. “Call me sometime.” She suggests before calmly walking away. Like that didn’t just happen.

you have to stand there shocked to try and comprehend what just happen.

did her, Sidney Prescott, just kiss YOU? Ain’t now way.

a few seconds later you hear laughing in the living room and snap out of it before going back to all of your friends.

the rest of the night goes great. Even though Sidney does give some flirtatious glances she’s still genuinely sweet.

At the end of the night you see her giving you a wink before mouthing. “Good night baby girl.
