I keep seeing polls made for people unfamiliar with a piece of media to ask them to try and identify the thing that does not happen in said media, and I always thought those looked like a lot of fun! So, I decided to make one, and I already knew the perfect franchise for one: The World of Darkness (WoD) TTRPG franchise. The WoD is a franchise containing several different TTRPG’s about playing as monsters, and it has some of the most unhinged lore I have ever come across.

Almost everything above is heavily simplified for the sake of fitting into the poll boxes btw. Also, I promise that this is not a trick. Ten of the Eleven options presented above actually are a part of this franchises seemingly infinite Metaplot. here's the thing. about me being a "hardcore gaaruto truther". there is a certain Implication in that statement so just ride this out with me here also this is NOT a hatepost... just explaining my perspective to my hypothetical audience (consisting of no one). i can't deny that the other bitches are gay. those bitches are indeed gay. but listen... imo sasuke would NOT be a good boyfriend for naruto... like setting aside that they very strongly read as a "one guy madly in love with very repressed dude, repeatedly gets treated like shit & loses the crush, then after the repressed guy finally gets Kind Of normal the first guy isn't gonna bite anymore cause he realized a romantic relationship is asking for way too much trouble & they aren't good for each other that way" situation to me, they are just not actually compatible in the long term romantically (imo). sasuke is too emotionally repressed & needs a lot of alone time. naruto needs a lot of validation and attention and would undeniably benefit from a lot of physical affection that sasuke... could only ever provide in a rare and tsundere manner. meanwhile gaara's favourite word is "affection" and he self-soothes by going into a tight cozy Sand Egg and lest we not forget when naruto got nervous about saying goodbye it was gaara who initiated physical contact. gaara likes hugs and lots of affection physical and verbal. he loves naruto so much that naruto was explicitly part of his "ideal world" coma dream because gaara wishes they had been childhood friends. gaara wants to hang out with naruto a bunch. naruto likes watering plants? gaara has a garden. gaara has emotional intelligence. gaara goes out of his way to give gifts to and do acts of service for complete strangers, let alone what he must be like with friends and loved ones. they may be long distance but at least naruto knows where gaara Is...

now this is the most important part. i am of course a gaaruto truther and i usually keep them on their own. but i am not blind and i see the potential here. if it is a POLYCULE situation? all of the problems are solved because gaara is the glue holding it together. he makes up for sasuke's sasukeness regarding affection & he can and will call Both of them on their shit and Will force them to sit down and talk it out Maturely when they inevitably get into arguments. it would work pretty well like this
