I actually wrote the next 2 parts like.....last week sometime, just a couple more sentences or so. I've just been distracted drawing others things and being too scared to try and draw Leatherhead's face. It was on my mental queue to do after I finish this giftart I'm currently doing, and I usually post it as soon as I finish both parts. So...... 2 or 3 days? Depending on how much I struggle with Leatherhead and stuff.

Hundreds of people desperate to find a family physician lined up overnight outside a Kingston, Ont., medical clinic this week, in what many are calling a clear sign of the serious doctor shortage in the region.

On Feb. 22, the CDK Family Medicine and Walk-In Clinic announced four physicians would start taking on as many as 4,000 new patients at the clinic. Some 30,000 residents are currently without a family doctor in Kingston.

During "rostering" days held last week, prospective patients were asked to line up outside the clinic to be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. On Wednesday, the line was cut off after the first 100 people.

detailed post about my thoughts/criticisms of milan's recent performances that no one asked for but hey!! why not. i'm in a silly giggly mood rn so it's all lighthearted. no one's obliged to read i'm just rambling

overall: not a great mentality in the team rn. the players get nervous in important games (first ten minutes against inter), and get nervous and frustrated when losing. after spezia's 2nd goal you could see slips, more pointless fouls, more mistakes in play and passing. as a team there isn't much mental fortitude and that can prove to be a killer. for some reason we only show up against top-table opponents (napoli, lazio, atalanta but that was a while ago) and can't handle it against anyone else? idk but it's weird.

on pioli: is he to blame for lack of depth and the players making stupid mistakes on their own? i don't think so. but tactically it's undeniable that there are decisions he could make better (the calabria-dzeko mismatch has been talked about a lot). and he should be the one helping with team spirit and mentality. with everything happening right now we're stagnating with no real improvement. i respect what he's done for milan before and i do like him as a dude but i think in the summer it's time for him to go. (i don't think an immediate sacking would help as it may cause too much disruption and we might not be able to find a better replacement so soon)

on the defense: i just really don't understand why it's so inconsistent. probably due to the mentality stuff i mentioned earlier. i think kjaer/thiaw/theo have been the most decent recently, as tomori's been inconsistent all season and i don't know what calabria's doing half the time he's on the pitch. and we need to start conversations about kalulu. ever since he came back from injury he's kind of really stunk. maybe it's just me tho but i don't think he's been at all up to his standards recently. again the defense looked really solid vs lazio but against inter i felt like it was january again and that is certainly not a good thing...

on the midfield: well bennacer is out for the rest of the season so it's mostly a write-off for this area i think we're finished djfkdhfdjh. tonali/krunic nothing to say, i do think they've been solid and important even if krunic kind of ghosted against inter from what i can remember. as for pobega.... did yall see that "pass" he tried to do in the dying minutes that went straight out of play. that sums him up for me, he's a hard worker and has a good shot but other than that he doesn't really bring quality. as for quality, THANK FUCKING GOD pioli finally brought out adli. he didn't have much time but imo he really shone, good control of the ball and didn't manage to lose it in a stupid way like how most of our players do. just checked fotmob too and he completed the most dribbles of any player!!! good for him but when he came on in the 70th minute that speaks a lot about the others.

on the attack: one decision i will consistently fight against pioli over is the decision to play brahim as an attacking midfielder. HE'S NOT THAT GOOD AS AN AM. he just gets fucking bodied by everyone like against inter because he's so small (that should've been a penalty on him today btw), he works better out wide with more space. about saelemaekers, i've grown to respect him a lot recently, it feels like he always gives his best. even if his best isn't always like... top tier lmfao i still respect what he tries to do. with leao injured i thought he did pretty well as a deputy. as for messias.... i'm just gonna include this image here.

anyway back to it. we all know origi has been utter booty ass for most of this season. but honestly the last two or three games? he actually looks like a football player now LMFAOAOAOAI. he can actually run and do things with the ball who woulda thought!!! i'm waiting for the corner taken quickly on tuesday. cdk however... he looked somewhat decent for like one or two games recently but today he was back to being a passive force. i really don't know what to say about this boy, honestly i feel bad for him and i don't know what could fix it. a better coach maybe hmm??? hm??? anyway onto giroud, it pains me to say it but he really has not been good lately. i honestly just think he's tired. he constantly presses which wears out his legs, he barely even wins aerial duals or headers anymore which is supposed to be his specialty. idk man. he scored once in all of march and once in april. the busy schedule obviously doesn't help. he needs rest and so do i (typing this from my bed)

9 essential skills for AWS DevOps Engineers

AWS DevOps engineers cover a lot of ground. The good ones maintain a cross-disciplinary skill set that touches upon a cloud, development, operations, continuous delivery, data, security, and more.  

Here are the skills that AWS DevOps Engineers need to master to rock their role.

1. Continuous delivery

For this role, you’ll need a deep understanding of continuous delivery (CD) theory, concepts, and real-world application. You’ll not only need experience with CD tools and systems, but you’ll need intimate knowledge of their inner workings so you can integrate different tools and systems together to create fully functioning, cohesive delivery pipelines. Committing, merging, building, testing, packaging, and deploying code all come into play within the software release process. 

If you’re using the native AWS services for your continuous delivery pipelines, you’ll need to be familiar with AWS CodeDeploy, AWS CodeBuild, and AWS CodePipeline. Other CD tools and systems you might need to be familiar with include GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab, Spinnaker, Travis, or others.

2. Cloud

An AWS DevOps engineer is expected to be a subject matter expert on AWS services, tools, and best practices. Product development teams will come to you with questions on various services and ask for recommendations on what service to use and when. As such, you should have a well-rounded understanding of the varied and numerous AWS services, their limitations, and alternate (non-AWS) solutions that might serve better in particular situations. 

With your expertise in cloud computing, you’ll architect and build cloud-native systems, wrangle cloud systems’ complexity, and ensure that best practices are followed when utilizing a wide variety of cloud service offerings. When designing and recommending solutions, you’ll also weigh the pros and cons of using IaaS services versus PaaS and other managed services. 3. Observability

Logging, monitoring, and alerting, oh my! Shipping a new application to production is great, but it’s even better if you know what it’s doing. Observability is a critical area of work for this role. An AWS DevOps engineer should ensure that an application and its systems implement appropriate monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions. APM (Application Performance Monitoring) can help unveil critical insights into an application’s inner workings and simplify debugging custom code. APM solutions include New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and others. On the AWS side, you should have deep knowledge of Amazon CloudWatch (including CloudWatch Agent, CloudWatch Logs, CloudWatch Alarms, and CloudWatch Events), AWS X-Ray, Amazon SNS, Amazon Elasticsearch Service, and Kibana. You might utilize tools and systems in this space, including Syslog, logrotate, Logstash, Filebeat, Nagios, InfluxDB, Prometheus, and Grafana. 

4. Infrastructure as code

An AWS DevOps Engineer will ensure that the systems under her purview are built repeatedly, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Pulumi, and AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit). Using IaC ensures that cloud objects are documented as code, version controlled, and can be reliably replaced using an appropriate IaC provisioning tool.

5. Configuration Management

On the IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) side for virtual machines, once ec2 instances have been launched, their configuration and setup should be codified with a Configuration Management tool. Some of the more popular options in this space include Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and SaltStack. For organizations with most of their infrastructure running Windows, you might find Powershell Desired State Configuration (DSC) as the tool of choice in this space.

6. Containers

Many modern organizations are migrating away from the traditional deployment models of apps being pushed to VMs and to a containerized system landscape. In the containerized world, configuration management becomes much less important, but there is also a whole new world of container-related tools that you’ll need to be familiar with. These tools include Docker Engine, Docker Swarm, systemd-nspawn, LXC, container registries, Kubernetes (which includes dozens of tools, apps, and services within its ecosystem), and many more.

7. Operations

IT operations are most often associated with logging, monitoring, and alerting. You need to have these things in place to properly operate, run, or manage production systems. We covered these in our observability section above. Another large facet of the Ops role is responding to, troubleshooting, and resolving issues as they occur. To effectively respond to issues and resolve them quickly, you’ll need to have experience working with and troubleshooting operating systems like Ubuntu, CentOS, Amazon Linux, RedHat Enterprise Linux, and Windows. You’ll also need to be familiar with common middleware software like web servers (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, Nodejs, and others), load balancers, and other application environments and runtimes.

Database administration can also be an important function of a (Dev)Ops role. To be successful here, you’ll need to have knowledge of data stores such as PostgreSQL and MySQL. You should also be able to read and write some SQL code. And increasingly, you should be familiar with NoSQL data stores like Cassandra, MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB, and possibly even a graph database or two!

8. Automation

Eliminating toil is the ethos of the site reliability engineer, and this mission is very much applicable to the DevOps engineer role. In your quest to automate everything, you’ll need experience and expertise with scripting languages such as bash, GNU utilities, Python, JavaScript, and PowerShell for the Windows side. You should be familiar with cron, AWS Lambda (the service of the serverless function), CloudWatch Events, SNS, and others.  

9. Collaboration and communication

Last (but not least) is the cultural aspect of DevOps. While the term “DevOps” can mean a dozen different things to a dozen people, one of the best starting points for talking about this shift in our industry is CAMS: culture, automation, measurement, and sharing. DevOps is all about breaking down barriers between IT operations and development. In this modern DevOps age, we no longer have developers throwing code “over the wall” to operations. We now strive to be one big happy family, with every role invested in the success of the code, the applications, and the value delivered to customers. This means that (Dev)Ops engineers must work closely with software engineers. This necessitates excellent communication and collaboration skills for any person who wishes to fill this keystone role of a DevOps engineer.

AWS offers various flexible services that allow organizations to create and release services more efficiently and reliably through the implementation of DevOps techniques.

Rook would be a wizard. They practically are one already with all the knickknacks they keep up their sleeves. When they lack the knowledge to complete a task they make up for it with their ability to improvise.

Canvas would be a rogue! He likes to take a tactical approach to fights, but he still tends to get into a fair few of them. He's not into tech, so I figure he wouldn't be into magic either. A knife and a blaster suits him just fine.

Avarice would be a warlock. She makes many deals with powerful people, that'd apply to a fantasy world as well. While she's not big on wielding that kind of power herself, she wouldn't complain about getting a few perks from the alliances she makes.

Curdok would be a barbarian. Zey're a little headstrong to say the least, and zey tend to charge into things rather than step back and plan. Having the strength to lash out at threats would certainly prompt zem to be fighting on the front lines.

Inzen would be a sorcerer. The reasons why are hard to explain without spoilers, but suffice it to say that powerful magical attacks are zir cup of tea.

Yeah when I got into the shower earlier I started thinking about this post. But I have been going none stop since! I've put ~50 miles just for bloodwork & lunch. 🙄🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I started singing the air force song.. flying high into the sun... & then giggling. As I used to know all of them, ranks for all, & a lot of ribbons too. Only can remember green E right now. Sigh. But I realized how much a nerd I am!

One of the new regional eatery places that's opened up is in the main flight path for a municipal airport so while everybody else there is oblivious.. I'm staring at jets all the way down to single prop Cessna's coming in! Close enough watching them deploying landing gear! I love it! Course it also reminds me of C.A.P. & then high school. Sigh. Memories.. & goals!

And then remembered while at the pizzeria today. [Half the bread, 4 fries & all the meat! Good kat!😁]

that as much as I detest the mark of the beast the cgm is to me.. when I'm asked about it I stop whatever I'm doing & talk to the person. People wanna know, they're scared & if I can help with my own experiences belay their fears then I will.

It's very simple, 1 poke, 10 days of wear, & 288 tests [every 5 minutes] in 24hrs vs the 4 test strips insurance allows with regular meter usage. It gives the wearer more knowledge & control over their eating habits.

Heck, it's showing me just how much stress affects blood sugar! When I saw endo after my sunburn/poisoning in August, they could see my shoulders, arms & toe. They reminded me of this. Stress effects ABSOLUTELY freaking everything! Blood sugar, pressure, heart rate, breathing, etc. Like D'oh t! I knew, I grew up around people that lost vision, toes, even life. Because remember.. too much sugar in the blood stream. Heck, it's affect is on psoriasis too! And since mine is mainly on my face, neck, & ears I see the evidence in the mirror & can't do a dang thing about it but to watch my food & stress. And yes, not eating also causes blood sugar to rise. The body thinks it's in starvation mode & that's where gut eright comes in. Until that has gotten as far ad the body is ok with then goes to other areas. Me, its trunk. A bit of cellulite arms & legs. But I have the "fat that kills."

Why do I talk about all this stuff?

So anyone that has questions or needs to know these things doesn't feel alone.

It sucks to have the alphabet soup.. pcos, ibs, complex headaches, dm2, cdk, psoriasis... "hyperactive immune system" allergies thru the roof!, asthma induced by allergies & more but. These are my trials.

And I bow to God's Wisdom & Grace.

He alone can Guide me to His healing. & Miracles!

And I can overcome all the mirade issues I have. It takes hard work, dedication & discipline.

I realized last night that I got depressed & lazy because of my circumstances.

Let's just say.. that put my hackles up. And really f*ckin pissed off Tijgeress. At me! I don't like that. At all. This is a huge part of my daily struggle, to fight what I am around.

To be the woman that I am. The one that doesn't go out without brushing hair, teeth, washing face, at least sponges bath, & putting on "public clothes" & showing that I care about myself.

I have gotten to the point that I rarely wear makeup though. It bothers my skin. And I even tried Its cosmetics 'Bye Bye' moisturizer! It felt heavy to me. People gonna just see my rosy complexion & lip balm. Unless I feel fancy like..🎶 grinning. Right now though.. Levi's & tees.

I'm a nice woman to everybody I encounter. And I had to tell myself when I saw what looked like a traffic accident & grass fire while driving 80mph in a clump of cars that I saw the drivers, & they were mobile. Anyways! I do this so wherever & whomever the heck my soul's mates are.. he knows what's happening in my life! Well I mean I think knows more than these writings.. that's my gut, intuition & soul's feelings anyways. So I write to my loves & I write to help others. Otherwise... crickets. There are days when I talk to my cat & have to clear my throat because I haven't spoken in so long! Lol!

Now that the chauffeuring is done.. back to work! I gots plenty of both daily chores & tasks to my goals to get done!

Yes, as I look out at my huge pine & other trees, seeing the sunlight, listening.. I feel better. I much rather go out into the forest & not hear people but be rejuvenated by nature!

Alright well since this is the last day of the decade, and that's how long I've been alive (born 2000), I wanted to do SOMETHING so uuuh I'm gonna show off the characters I'm the most proud of making!

-Stonks: I'm really proud of her design, she was made during my first day of college (during my statistics class) and in a way represents my introduction to the next step of my life, so I'm very fond of her for that. I also like her story and personality, as she's written as a generally sweet, nervous nerd who's head over heals over a girl in her office while still having a few secrets she has to keep under wraps, as her horrible town corrupts anyone that lives in it. Also her name is a meme and I love that too

-Goby Powehi: Again I'm all about design and I enjoy hers a whole lot. She was roughly based off a pervious character which was inspired by an old fakemon, from back when I made over 200 in elementary (and started my passion for character design). So she has some pretty special origins. She's also the star of her own story and one of my favorites, as well as having a fun personality and secrets as well, although easily uncovered. Plus she has awesome powers and sci-fi/fantasy origins that I enjoy writing

-CeeCee: I could argue that ALL of the ocs that managed to get popular through my flipnotes are my favorites, not necissarily because of design/story but because they achieved a level of recognition and love I've always wanted for my characters. My ocs mean a lot to me and have contributed to my happiness throughout my whole life, so I feel like a proud parent when others love them as much as I do. CeeCee is the prime example of this, as she's arguably my most popular character/animation. I don't draw her much because I like to focus on all of my characters and she already gets more attention than anyone else, but she still holds a very special place in my heart. Overall, she's helped me achieve what I thought I could not, and it's amazing to think how I almost sold her as an adopt, years ago, and this would have never happened.

-All of the Fruit Citizens: This may be a bit of a cop-out, but it's true. Although I have a select few that I prefer over the others, all of my Fruit Citizens have designs and stories I'm very proud of. The entire premise itself is one of my most complete and developed stories yet, and has elements I really enjoy working with. Even if I haven't done anything other than draw characters, this is the closest to starting a project I've ever gotten, something I've wanted to do so badly for all of my life but haven't been able to due to my adhd and lack of time. I really completed 48 fully colored refs for this one thing and I haven't felt this productive since my flipnote days. I can't express how happy and proud I am for how well it's been received, and I hope people continue to ask me about it as I develop it more. Also I accedentally made 5 new fruit citizens so expect more refs lmaooo

-Cavity: Not to toot my own horn but out of all of my designs I consider this one of the most clever/coolest. I love the combination of a geode with a hoodie, and using the crystal motif to also give them the apperance of a rabbit. I'm still working on their story, and this image could be better, but for the design alone Cavity has become one of my favorites.

-Uri: He has always been a comfort character to me. I don't know why, but I always felt like I could relate to Uri the most, even though we're vastly different. I suspect I latch onto bold male characters because thats what I want to be at times, and to this day I find comfort in his confidence and ability to create his own world and circumstances just by being himself. He's more like a close friend than a character at this point, and I always return to him when I'm out of ideas. He's changed a lot over the 7 years I've had him, both in personality and apperance, and even now his design and story is being worked on, but there's no denying that he holds a special place in my heart.

-Mokaro: I consider him my first real character ever, so it's easy to see his significance. I think I created him back in 2012, as a keronian inspired off of my animal jam outfit, and although now he's a human there's still elements to him that have never changed. He's been there for me through thick and thin, he has a lot of personality and story to work with, his design needs a little polishing but overall suits me fine, and like Uri, he's a comfort character so I really treasure everything about him. His significance to my lore is also immeasurable. To say he's special would be an understatment; he really is one of a kind, and it'd be wrong for me not to include him in this character highlight.

-Captain Dark Kitty: This one is self explanatory. She's the official mascot of my work and just as recognized as CeeCee, being the face of my flipnotes for many years. I drew myself as her for most of my middle school and highschool years and considered her my avatar until recently. She was everything I wanted to be: hardcore, red eyes, black hair, cool outfit, literally part cat. As I grew up though, my dream apperance deviated from hers- especially when my preferences stopped including any semblance of femininity. Now I just draw myself as a cartoon version of myself, and instead made CDK her own character. She still has a place as my mascot and will continue her role as one of the most important characters in my roster.

-Bail: He's the closest thing I've had to a consistently favorite character and I love him so much. I love writing his personality and story and drawing him and everything else, there's very little I can say honestly other than he's very special to me and I'll probably never think otherwise.

Things could not be more clear! 😹 I asked the cards tonight about things I needed to improve for myself. I've been in a bit of a dilemma with a few personal and professional situation lately and there I am.
