Daily general reading for Monday, 3/11/2019/ using the CBD Tarot de Marseilles deck: ⠀ The King of Cups and The Fool inversed. ⠀ When I switch from one type of an oracle to another, it feels like I need to start speaking and listening on a different language. ⠀ I like using the Marseille deck because I personally feel their messages are very deep and layered. ⠀ The King of Cups looks ahead to the future with bright attitude and because emotionally he is a mature person, he is ready to leave things behind. What seems to me that is missing for his approach is spontaneity, lack of direction, as if he is lost and is not able to plan ahead. The inverse position of the Fool indicates this. The King holds a cup in his hand. That is all his emotional wisdom that he gathered through hard work and experience. The Fool inversed looses everything that had in his satchel that resembles the shape of the king's cups. Again, confirming that it's not enough to feel it, believe it, you need to guide your vision, insights by strength, direction. If we reverse the Fool, we see that he happily started his journey to the unknown. His satchel is stable and holds the previously gained optimism and openness from the Kibg of Cups. The King takes a last glance to the leaving fool feeling certain that he will be fine with the next step ahead. ⠀ The message: don't be eccentric, hold your purpose, don't give up values, don't be a fool. In the course of my Tarot studies this week I learned a new word-Prestidigitation. A prestidigitator is defined as: "One who performs slight-of-hand tricks; a conjurer." J-M David uses it as a synonym for Le Bateleur/The Magician. Etymologically speaking, it comes from the Italian "presto" (quick) and Latin "digitus" (finger) It immediately reminded me of the character Little Finger from Game of Thrones. Such a perfect way to describe his personality! Continuation of the previous past: why my questioner does not have a relationship yet, what she can do to find her real love and will she find it ever? I had an interesting reading session yesterday. A lovely, nice lady asked me why she does not have success in finding a partner, why she does not have a relationship. She was worried that she will never marry. With questions like this, I use the Marseille deck. The upper three cards are why she is in the situation, what lead to the present state. The lower three cards are the attitude, the solution for the question. I saw that the reason she ended up where she is right now is because of a previous relationship. She had been involved with a selfish, egocentric person before who used her as an ornament but ignored her real needs. The relationship was at one point good and prospering but she became that sad little flower turned upside down in the middle because her guy was not looking at her direction. He only saw his own wand. She gave up on things, she lost her spirit and spark. Her promise for a fulfilled, happy family life went in vain. They say, during the Full Moon people like to visit the past, reflect upon old memories, looking at old pictures. The King of Swords is exactly in this situation; he is not able to cut himself off from the past, uncertain, and has a divided heart. He has two Moon-faced figures on either side of his shoulder. One is looking back to the past and the King follows his vision. The other is blinded by the sword-thoughts to see into the future. Because he does not see what is in front of him, he cannot see that he in delusion, has misconceptions, and his thoughts are negative and unproductive. The Ace of Swords inversed can indicate injury as well, I would say, be careful with your legs as this is the only exposed thing turning to the second car. Do not be deceived by your own thoughts. Try to establish yourself in the present because that is the only way to the future. Once you establish this attitude, the cards will turn and the King acquires a strong will that will be able to deal with uncertainty and can turn his head away from the old. That will lead to a more rational and logical thinking and eventually to victory over self-defeat. Do any of you "dream" in Tarot? I do sometimes. With a regular intake of Tarot Tube in the morning, a daily draw in the afternoon and when time permits, a few pages of YBD at night-it's no wonder the cards show up when I'm trying to rest.
