His favourite superhero is Daredevil because my boy has TASTE.

He dressed as it for Halloween this year, and Sweetheart dressed as one of his many, many love interests (because matt murdock is a whore and so is Milo Greer)

Peanut allergy.

As a kid his dad kept forgetting about said allergy. Sometimes he would pack Milo lunch and Milo just. Couldn't eat any of it.

Then Sweetheart came along and cyberstalked him to oblivion and back. They knew all his allergies before they even met.

SPEAKING OF ALLERGIES, Colm had a cat allergy. But Milo really wanted a cat. Turns out the allergy didn't really matter, Colm was barely around anyway so Marie got Milo his cat!

Its name was Elise and I love her. Sassy bitch of a cat.

Sometimes when his parents were fighting, Elise would walk in and around Colm's legs to get him to shut the hell up.

Milo is the equivalent of this emoji 🤨. He pulls that face on the regular.

He really likes Sweetheart's hands. He'll just watch them write reports and type stuff up and just. I don't know he just really likes them.

made by a person who definitely thinks about a district that was never actually canonically described a little too much

so. let’s get into the fun stuff!

District Three consists of two main “areas” or zones: the Stills and the city of Stepanov, which is the main city in Three, named after the first mayor of Three, who’s full name was Hewlett Stepanov. It is still a popular name in Three, especially with the wealthy, and the Stepanov family are respected highly by citizens.

General Info:

District Three consists of the majority of Idaho/the Idaho Panhandle, some of west Washington, and east Montana. There also a tiny, tiny little bit of modern Oregon. D3 borders One to the south and east and Seven to the north and west.

The area that is considered “District Three” is not all used for living and the majority of it is forested land. Due to this, lumberyard workers from Seven travel the short distance from the two districts to harvest many of these trees. This is also true for miners from One in terms of gems.

Three makes and produces the vast majority of all technology used in Panem, cars, glass, and various drugs.

Child labor is a major issue, as children from the Stills begin working at factories as early as age four/five. Much of the time, there is an encompassing building attached to the factory that your parents work at for children who work.

Stepanov:

Saint Stepanov (typically shortened simply to Stepanov during the ADD¹/DHG²/BSR³ era) is the main city of Three where wealthier citizens live, or there version of Twelve’s “merchant class”. Adults who live here work as software developers and engineers, factory owners or managers, analysts, programmers, etc. These citizens typically live good lives with fulfilling jobs and nine times out of ten, no one will ever have to worry about where the food on the table comes from.

Only one year in Hunger Games existence were both children reaped were from the wealthier families of Three. The 48th Annual Hunger Games came as a shock to everyone, when both Wiress Lisiecki and Fortran Stepanov were reaped.

The square in Stepanov is where the Reapings take place. All children of reaping age can fit, but families usually have to stand in accompanying streets or are pushed to the back.

The Stills:

The majority of Three’s population lives in poverty or on the cusp (about 120k out of 190k), in the area called the Stills, which consists of five separate neighborhoods/towns joined together by a square in the middle called The Interface. The Interface is where the main marketplace for the Stills is, including a popular bar called Harlow’s.

The majority of the Stills inhabitants work as factory workers/laborers. Almost always, these workers work in these jobs for their entire lives. They are not given the same opportunities as the citizens from Stepanov are. Due to this, a lot of animosity from both sides of the divide is very prevalent in everyday life.

Citizens from the Stills are taught from a young age about doing whatever it takes to survive. Because of this, tributes from the Stills typically do better in the Hunger Game than their wealthier counterparts.

— Midtown:

Midtown is the in between area to the Stills and Stepanov. Only around 10k of the overall population live here. Inhabitants of Midtown have jobs that include factory manager, training jobs, and about half of the jobs not pertaining to Three’s industry. People from Midtown are teachers, business/shop owners, and various other occupations.

Midtown is on the other side of Stepanov to the Stills, a short walk down a small hill. Due to the small population, few tributes in the Hunger Games are from Midtown, but there are exceptions. Examples of this include Circ Bauer, male tribute of the 10th Annual Hunger Games, and Matilyne Sanchez, female tribute of the 47th Annual Hunger Games. The 45th Games was the only year where both tributes from Three were from Midtown, with Coball Alves-Torres and Maple Adomaitytė.

As of the Third Quarter Quell, there were five residents of Three’s Victors Village.

Additional Information:

Three is not an “Anyone But A Career” district. They have never been one.

Every single time a Three wins the Hunger Games, a victor from One precedes them. Every. Single. Time. Atlas was preceded by Harrison Sanford, Beetee by Paris Sanford, Wiress by Zircon (“Connor”) Lewis, Marie by Emerald Reeves, and Haskell by Augustus Braun.

Three’s victors are sometimes seen as a buffer between the careers and the outlying districts. Most of the citizens of Three don’t have a problem with the Careers, except for some people from Stepanov.

In Stepanov, residents celebrate what children refer to as “Tree Time” during December—families use left over trees from the workers from Seven and display them in their homes with generational ornaments. Every year, at least one new ornament is added to the tree. Some families use breakable plastic to put new year’s resolutions inside of the ornaments and then break them on New Year’s to read them with family and friends at midnight.

Every Saturday, business owners in Midtown set up a marketplace for citizens, primarily ones from Stepanov.

In the Stills, names are very important. Due to the extreme poverty many are trapped in, a common phrase is, “I have nothing but my first and last”, meaning their first and last name.

kind of a headcanon/lore dump?? idk whatever you wanna call it. whatever it is. dewynter sisters stuff no one asked for but they’ve been on my mind and i don’t think i’ve really shared much of my hcs for them.

so if you keep up with my rewrites/my canon, you know that kiki and viola are mercenaries sent by ultor to kill loren (and later dex). here’s some more basic lore. this is all barely scratching the surface of all the lore and thoughts i have on them, so by all means feel free to ask me stuff. and honestly i’ll probably end up making more posts like this in the future (for them and others) if people are interested.

father: hendrik dewynter

mother: akane dewynter (née ueno)

their father is dutch and french while their mother is japanese and filipino.

as far as their general background goes, they were born in the netherlands, traveled with their parents for their work a lot, and were raised in both europe and the united states. both twins are fluent in dutch, french, and japanese.

both parents have been working in the criminal underworld for decades and have essentially been training the girls to become the mercenaries they are since they were young. hendrik and akane work primarily in illegal arms deals, and they use their cover as high society people to facilitate that. all this led to some familiarity with some syndicate members pre-loren’s leadership, but more so through their high society connections. worth noting i don’t believe the syndicate leaned as heavily into arms dealing until after loren became head of it because that was his area of expertise as well. regardless, hendrik and akane and their network got into illegal arms trade and espionage predominantly within western europe. when they had the twins, they were trained from a young age to become the perfect spies, assassins, whatever. this unintentionally made it so the girls really only trusted each other. they are not a close family. the dewynter’s see their relationship with their daughters as more of a business arrangement. almost transactional. they’d argue that what they put them through was for them to succeed, but in turn it just dissolved any chance of a meaningful relationship between them. despite this, or perhaps because of this, they became extremely adept mercenaries. keep in mind though that all this shit about the dewynter family was not widely known. hendrik and akane still had their regular careers as covers, and it’s why the twins have their backgrounds in economics and art.

regardless, loren was delighted to have them working within the syndicate—however he did not know that them asking to work for him directly was because they were being employed by ultor to sell secrets and eventually kill him. it also helped that they could speak dutch and french to him; there were many instances of the three of them having conversations that matt and killbane could not understand (which bothered the latter to no end).

the twins themselves only have a sense of loyalty to each other, and they do their work based on who’s paying best and what they believe they should do with their information they’re given. it’s why viola switches sides so easily after the death of kiki. money may have been their endgame, but the one thing they put above that is each other.

fwiw, viola does go back to doing mercenary work after the events of my sriv rewrite conclude. she’s one of several characters who leave the saints at the end. she allows them to keep in contact with her though. this whole thing kicks off a bit of a cat and mouse game she and shaundi have, but that’s for another post (oh wait i already made one kinda. happy shaunviola saturday).

has something from a tlt fic ever become headcanon to you? i ask because i find this happening to me all the damn time with this fandom but not others

OK SO, my tlt headcanons are like schrodinger's cat, they explicitly contradict each other sometimes and all of them exist at the same time in different quantum states of canon. So in that sense I've never read a fic and thought, okay, THIS is my canon from now on.

But I've read so so many fics that burst my third eye wide open and made me consider different perspectives on a character / dynamic, or helped me shape some I already had. A few favourites:

the soul that seeketh him by bittybelle — missing scene pre NtN ft. John and Kiriona. Wherein John Gaius meets his daughter, remembers the women he left behind, and deals poorly with being the male god of a universe in which the divine is essentially feminine.

Other stuff that Stuck With Me

so I open the window to hear sounds of people by @sunderedstar — post NtN flashbacks. John and Alecto are the only two beings on earth, and he starts working on the Resurrection. This is harrowing and I'm absolutely obsessed with the implications in this fic of WHY John removed everyone's memory.

and they were roommates by @herenortherenearnorfar — pre Resurrection Mercy and Cristabel, from their first meeting onwards and it just really burrowed a hole in my brain and grew roots and sprouts and everything. Latin American nun Cristabel it's all I can see now, and YES they met working with climate refugees when M— was a bright eyed idealistic doctor. It also lines up great with the Asian Mercy headcanon that exist in my head (I have a whole elaborate backstory about M— aged 12 proclaiming to her Filipino Catholic family that she's an atheist now). Anyway, it's just a lovely, gorgeous fic. I think about it every day.

John 25:12 by @halfeatenmoon — pre-Resurrection, John and his friends escape the cow fortress to spend Christmas Day at the beach. With beer, salads, pavlova, and the corpses of a million fish killed by nuclear weapons testing. Ft. Southern hemisphere holidays in Mururoa Atol and 100% canon. To me.

Operation: The Most Honorable Man by @cadmean — Augustine has a proposal for the Saint of Duty (Dios Apate. That's the proposal)

Memories and backstories will always come from the manga/light novels.

Characters will remember their past the moment they became self-aware. But, the memories should be shown in the manga and characters will remember as much as were shown.

Example:

The moment Fukuzawa became self-aware, he remembered his friendship with Fukuchi.

Tachihara would remember his past as a Hunting Dog, despite becoming self-aware before it was revealed.

If something was implied, but wasn't clarified, characters won't have this memory (or won't have much of it).

Example:

Dazai and Fyodor don't remember their first meeting.

Fyodor remember, that he had a dangerous enemy before, but can't describe them.

Fukuchi knew, that his plan was justified, but can't name the reason.

Dazai knew, that he was hiding for the two years, before joining ADA, but, he can't remember where he was hiding, or what he was doing.

Note! Characters won't know what would happen. Atsushi won't remember Gogol and Sigma, ADA won't remember Hunting Dogs, Mori won't remember about the deal with ADA...

Anime

Memories from anime will be remembered, only if they don't contradict information from manga/light novels.

So, no Azure Messenger incident after Atsushi joined ADA.

Right now, I can only add one example. Girl from Bram's flashback. Bram would remember her, but, until anime clarified, that she was his daughter, he won't remember it.

Creators' notes

Any information, that Asagiri or Harukawa write down but didn't publish it.

Only works on something minor, big events or important characters from the past should appear in anime/manga/light novels.

Kafka's notes are considered the Word of God and more important, than Harukawa's.

Harukawa's notes can be considered the Word of Archangel Michael/Saint Peter. As long as they don't contradict Kafka's notes, they are remembered by characters.

Examples:

Kafka Asagiri could write as much as he wanted about Dazai and Oda's first meeting, but, until "The Day I Picked Up Dazai" were published (back when Life-action BEAST premiered), Dazai and Oda won't remember the details of their first meeting.

Harukawa can have headcanons about small events. If she writes somewhere, that 'One time Kunikida made a cat-shaped cake for Fukuzawa', Kunikida and Fukuzawa would remember it. But, if one day Kafka write 'Don't let Kunikida bake, he will burn whole Yokohama', this memory will disappear.

Note! Harukawa's designs are the 'The World of God' of characters looks. BSD Characters won't have Bones Design. So, Atsushi with black stripe, Gogol with hips.

Even in BEAST universe, despite having different mangaka, Harukawa's designs are superior. Same with Gaiden Characters.

five hyperspecific near headcanons?

(THIS IS SO LONG SORRY. YOU KNOW WHAT I AM!!!!)

gonna take headcanons here to mean “stuff that is entirely not canon” so these are (varying levels of unfounded) personal canonverse facts i’ve come up with as i write him: 

i.

has special interest in space / cosmology / astrophysics / astrobiology / space exploration etc etc etc. (extremely self indulgent of me but i love to have fun) it used to be very all-consuming when he was little and not afraid to want things. 

it was eventually demoted to the backseat as his focus shifted towards his studies so by the time we meet him in canon it has been fully repressed into something he considers childish (though i’d like to think he found an excuse [perhaps through a case] to keep correspondence going with the brightest minds at the SETI institute and they have ocassional videocalls where he pokes holes in their theories on the origins of life he insists it is simply mantaining connections that may one day prove relevant. it is a productive use of my time agent gevanni do not question my methodology) 

when i think of near i think of saint-exupéry’s the little prince and his watercolor illustrations of a little boy on a little round planet -- actually, a lil exerpt:

near is very little-prince coded in his curiosity and love for humanity and golden heartedness and deep mysterious melancholy – he is sad and he doesn’t know he is sad!! to be a cosmonaut is to be an observer, unmoored from the world, not quite of this earth. which actually leads me to,

he is from nowhere/belongs to no-one/ has no past and no land to return to.

he was in a couple different orphanages since he was a newborn and any paperwork he could’ve had got lost in the shuffle: it was roger who named him nate river just to have something on the records; his oldest memories are from wammy’s, the first person he ever loved was L, there’s never been anything else for him.

i know “has no racial identity” seems like a cop-out but i actually find it interesting to set him up so that he is unlinked from such a basic experience of community in modern society. because of his albinism there isn’t even a melanin scale to point him in the right direction; his looks are very racially ambiguous (ie. 3a/3b curls, very slight/partial double eyelids, etc), his parents untraceable. if he ever took a dna test it would confirm a thoroughly mixed background of many different ethnicities due to european immigration – but he has never taken a dna test because it would mean he cares which means he would have to think about what other people have and he doesn’t which would mean mourning a loss. and there is no use having feelings about that which he cannot change; no use looking back. mello looks back, and look where that's landed him--

(tangent: in contrast mello’s troubled background in the wartorn balkans until he was relatively older (5-6) and his reconnection with his birthplace in croatia after he left wammy’s is a crucial and defining pillar of his identity (personal canonverse courtesy of local mello phd haver @firebuggg) so this is yet another contrast between them. but we do not have time to get into that)

(tangent number 2:

through the rest of their childhood known annoyingest older brother on earth mihael "mello" kheel was ocassionally able to figure out how to unlock a Near Nuclear Meltdown, though it was a very rare occurrence as soon enough near graduated to going stiff and heavy on the floor wherever they tried to make him do something he did not want to do. and good luck getting him to move without lifting him corpse deadweight style. garden. hallway. classroom floor. middle of the stairs. he is and has always been a willful little thing !!!!!!!!!

anyway once feral baby near escaped containment when there were prospective parents over browsing the (available) children and a couple was completely charmed with him and they, as is the fashion of wealthy people to do whatever the fuck they want, took him out for a lovely walk/car ride/park visit/ice-cream sundae, all sunny and warm and sitting on the young woman’s lap, getting loved on, hearing, “would you like to come live with us little one?” 

when they bring near back they are informed that unfortunately near is very much NOT up for adoption (someone definitely gets fired over that one) (dfsddfsdjfdfj)

this gets LEGENDARILY joked about by mello and matt and their popular kids entourage until they leave wammys. this definitely did not give near any complexes whatsoever

anyway once when the three of them are adults it comes up when they’re in the middle of joking around and it triggers yet another round of relentless Unadoptable Near teasing until matt and mello drive the joke right into the ground where it wheezes a last breath into an increasingly awkward silence as they Realize,

Oh Little Angel's Family: the one I keep forgetting. Supernatural, it's about family feels among the angels (especially the archangels and Castiel) and isn't canon-compliant in the slightest. I think it diverges from canon at s4. It has an attempt to plot in it, it has. Anyway it's written in french and Michael is called Michel in it.

Not home: an Outer Worlds game character-study(ish) fic about the Captain being an outsider. Do not be fooled by the english title, it's written in french.

Star Wars. I've written many a fic of Star Wars stuff starring the Codywan ship, some in french that haven't been translated since I switched to full english. I've still got unfinished drafts of more fics including them which will probably never be finished because I can't be bothered, and I don't post unfinished drafts (there's one exception to this and I won't elaborate on it).

Featuring an Oblivious!Cloud, background Reno/Rude, Zack being around, Rufus and his dog learning to be a Good PersonTM under mentorship from Dio, the most adults members of the group acting like parents and a frustrated Barret.

A Brooklyn Nine-Nine fic in which Kevin's family is actually from the mafia. His parents don't talk to him anymore because he married a cop and the whole Seamus situation gets worse because that's a mafia family kidnapping somedoby from another mafia family. It is unclear if Holt is aware or not.

alright yall i've been on tumblr for like ten or more years and that sounds crazy but i've never had like sort of blog there. i was only reading and looking for sum stuff but never actually wrote smth. in tiktok they said 2024 is the new 2014 so i gotta try having a nice tumblr blog about warrior cats lol 1. you remember that moment in the books when pinestar left his clan because he was scared of some difficulties in his clan life, right? and oh i know he had to kill tigerkit cuz he received a prophecy about him he had this he had that and he couldn't handle all this but let's stop for a minute and think of what: what if pinestar had some sort of mental illness such as schizophrenia and the voices in his head made him leaving the clan? so that makes this illness some family issue. u know schizophrenia can be easily inherited. so, in human!modern!AU pinestar left his family and the country because of some voices in his head or he could've even gone crazy for the same reason. tigerstar could've probably had this too. and pinestar's greatgranddaughter dawnpelt could too. flametail's death had affected her so much as we remember from the books and this could've worsen her mental illnesses. my mentally unstable queen

2. sandstorm has a 'lady' title, actually. not only because her husband is firestar which makes her a 'first lady'. sandy has both 'lady' and 'first lady'. she was born into wealthy aristocratic family. her father, redtail, comes from well-known family too, and he was also some sort of trustee or even a vice president for bluestar. her mother's (brindleface) ancestors were first people on a new land and oh well she comes from a wealthy family too. daumn sandy is THAT girl & knows her worth p.s. i know right it allegedly states that brindleface and redtail are not her parents and it's unofficial info but then who? so let that headcanon be lol 3. comes from a second one. sandstorm, as a lady herself, was raised in a lady-like way. perfect posture, elegant clothes, good manners... she's a royalty and she can't behave other way (her sharp tongue doesn't suit with this fact but let it be) and ofc she tried to raise her daughters the same way. and while leaf is modest and obedient enough, squirrel... isn't the definition of 'roalty'. you get it right, she IS a troublemaker. she lives for 4am parties at clubs, cigs, half-naked outfits and promiscuity sort of things. at younger age she had that 'kate moss in the 90s' lifestyle FOR SURE 4. despite that wild lifestyle that makes sand & fire grey hairs grow intensively, squirrel is sandy's favorite daughter. theyr're actually so much alike (sand isn't a saint virgin mary herself, she has manners and aristocratic origin but oh she was a wild thing at young age). you know, squirrel is mommy's daughter and leaf is daddy's daughter. squirrel is also the youngest in the family 5. tawnypelt is TALL. around 6'1 + wearing heels regularly. ofc cuz she has tall as hell parents (both of them tho). tawny is also way taller than her husband rowanstar. who also lives for the 'tall tawnypelt' headcanon? let me know hehe!

Tatag-9 Headcanon Shenanigans

Long overdue but have to give some love to my grumpy and stoic Exo Titan. Some of these facts, or headcanons or whatnot are already established in a server I'm in but I'm willing to reiterate it here and add some new ones as well!

Handicraft stuff:

He has a secret hobby involving fabrics-based handicraft. Sewing, knitting, crocheting, you name it. He's involved in that. His apartment has a small room with his creations.

He learned how to do these under Zavala's tutelage. I'd like to imagine that Zavala had like a secret handicraft club (though mostly for knitting) that some Guardians had gotten into. He's one of them.

For his few trusted friends... he makes them a special gift. He actually tries to create a plushie version of themselves and their Ghosts! Always put in a nice yet simple gift box, giving it to them personally or leaving it at their front door to collect. It's one such way of showing his appreciation and affection for them.

Just expect him to make tapestries and rugs and snug sweaters. He may sell them for glimmer if he wanted to but he prefers to keep his hobby away from the whole making it a job thing.

One of his proudest works was making a whole tapestry regarding the Iron Lords that he decided to gift to one of (the two of) its surviving original members, Lord Saladin. Being an Iron Lord fanboy meant that he definitely spent some time creating this intricately beautiful piece of fabric over the months. He gave it the one time Saladin visited the Tower after his duties in Caiatl's War Council, whenever he would celebrate and host the Iron Banner. Gave it quickly, nodded, and left walking in a hasty fashion. Clearly bashful for doing something like that.

Quirks and Traits:

Undeniably patient and has a temper that is good for his stoic self. He doesn't get easily angry or upset... Unless you keep pestering him and be a constant annoyance around him (see: Shard-3, my Exo Hunter). He's slow to anger however.

Big dad energy (especially Filipino dads). Expect those silly things you hear and see from the Internet regarding how dads interact.

Given his Exo frame, he has a resting grump face... which had influenced his grumpiness a little. That gets people away from him, and that's okay by him.

Where Max is a cat owner and Shard's a dog person, Tatag would be someone into reptiles and birds. He'd probably be beside Saint and quietly feeding the pigeons with the legendary Titan together. He has a terrarium just for this pair of bearded dragons in his apartment.

Big home cook, but only shares his food to those he invites, or visits. Filipinos have this thing of making lots of food for people to feast or chow on, or sending out food to people when they're about to leave. You can say that Tatag would send out the tupperware or containers to send what delicious food he makes. He makes some mean lumpia (the Shanghai variant especially) and pork sinigang.

VERY FESTIVE FOR THE DAWNING. He'll be inviting his trusted friends and companions to a feast he makes for them. And there's a very rare moment he'd show what joy he has for them during that.

He would pat someone's shoulder or back as a way to compliment when in battle before moving onwards. Be it friend or just a mere ally. It's a common pattern he does to show his appreciation for them.

Affections and Love:

Tatag seems outwardly cold or unassuming, but inwardly he's a sweetheart. Of course he won't just show it to anyone except to those he trusts and has befriended with.

He's reserved and won't show off such affection (both platonic or romantic) to the public, but he's not fully adverse to PDA. He only gives it in private, or in the company of those he trusts wholeheartedly. And provided his quietness or dislike with being social, he's not going to be vocally affectionate. He prefers to show it off in an emotional level, and even physical sometimes.

In terms of romantic relationships, he is not one to form one nor one to approach others. He prefers to be the one that is pursued, to be wooed over or to show that they got what it takes to make him fall in love with them.

Furthermore, he needs to be emotionally connected with them in order to even pursue something like a romance (hint: he's demi both ways). Invest time with him and get to know him better then there will be that spark within him that realizes that he has fallen in love with them.

He's a monogamous guy, and cannot get into any other relationship at all except the one he's in.

He's very intimate and very affectionate to his partner. Expect sweet gestures, devotion of time, and lots of touching from him.

Touching, he loves touching. He loves physical closeness. He gives hugs and kisses no matter what and would tenderly embrace his lover whenever.

Bilingualism is working wonders for his lover, as he'll speak to them in both English and Filipino about how much he loves them. Providing translations even just to bridge that language gap.

If anything, his top three love languages are: Physical Touch, Quality Time, and Words of Affirmation. Acts of Service exists too but those three are the ones he likes most.

Being a father to an Eliksni child, and his canon OC x OC relationship:

Canonically, Tatag is a father! An adoptive father to his adopted Eliksni son, Alon (meaning ocean or sea wave in Filipino). The hatchling he adopted was found and cared for and nurtured over just after the events of the Endless Night, when House Light and the Vanguard have now become allies. He doesn't have the most time with his kid given his business as a Guardian and so he leaves him to the care of his (canon) life partner, Martin (he/they), a civilian Titan Guardian that owns a restaurant that serves comfort food in the City.

Tatag and Martin met one time during when the latter visited the Tower for some errands he needed to do. He was smitten at first sight and decided to form a friendship with the Exo. It was a slow slow burn, but eventually they became partners.

Marriage was still inconceivable since it will take time for Tatag to consider it, but he has devoted his time to Martin for life (and vice-versa). With the Light or without it.

Strongest love language between them is quality time. To enjoy each other's presence and do things together makes them happy together.

Even with Tatag's physical unavailability to take care of Alon, he makes time to call them whenever he's out and about around the system.

The name Alon came to mind for Tatag because of his reminiscing of the sea. He has a small yet strange affinity for the sea, for the beach, for the water. Maybe something about his past called to him regarding it, even beyond all the reboots. Hence he named his kid for this affinity for the sea, over the crashing waves.

Though he would also give the kid an Eliksni name, Valrask.

The only allowable OC x Canon relationship for him:

If we talk however on an OC x Canon level, he would find his life partner in Misraaks (which is an AU's canon that I will indulge on because who doesn't love Misraaks?). Two fathers to two adopted Eliksni children. Eido would have a baby brother because of that, and I think that would be very cute. For Misraaks and Tatag. And for Eido and Alon.

Tatag would immerse himself into Eliksni culture alongside the Kell, integrating himself into the Eliksni Quarter and learn everything about them more.

Like with Martin, marriage was still out of the picture. And likewise with Martin, he dedicates himself to Misraaks completely.

Strongly into physical touch together, there would be lots of physical intimacy between them. Given the fact in their size difference. This would be the only time the Exo's little spooning himself for the Eliksni.

i don't have much of opinions! as one could... probably tell from my excessive iterator posting and extreme lack of scug posting

lore wise i will forever stick with my ultimate fav scug, Hunter. being a pre-Downpour fan has conditioned me into thinkin of the vanilla scugs the most and i'm most attached to them as well. Hunter is my fav of the three because of how unique they are compared to the other two, the amount of special lore and explanations their campaign offers to us. also i fucking love NSH endlessly so those two are a combo to open up my heart. they are actually the reason why i ended up hyperfixating on RW the first time around!

Survivor at the end of the day is the most basic scug, no matter what people say that's just a factual truth with her bein the first lil bugger peeps usually try out, but i've had a lot of fun playing with her characterization and my absolutely favorite thing to do is pair her up with Pebbles. Survivor is Five Pebbles' Cat to me. from the olden days

i don't have much to say about Monk except the fact that i'm still quietly laughing about how on THEIR campaign i got more pissed than anywhere fuckin else except Gourmand i think. like this peaceful little sunshine parading around in the world and then there's me behind the screen cursing up a fuckin Storm truly embracing my inner Bitch... i had fun with that..... either way, the fact that he can see traces of Survivor in the shelters is So Fucking and the possible parallels between vanilla scug sibs n Pebs n Moons are eating my brain alive whenever i dedicate a braincell to the slugcats

the Downpour scugs are more in the bg to me and also offer a sort of like... not exactly completely 100% continuation of the game, but one of the possible canonical paths the story could've taken n i ain't gon lie i often forget or ignore some Downpour facts because of my ass bein so stuck with the vanilla game

either way, Arti's maul ability is the best thing invented for this game, Gour is Neat and i really gotta go and explore OE better with Surv cuz that place is Very interesting from the lore stand point (also that map Pebs flashes when openin the gate is SUPER cool). Spearmaster is prolly my favorite of all the scugs cuz of their mechanics n the whole uncollapsed LTTM structure is a delicious world-building, along with the first hint towards the climate, the shit with Seven Red Son-of-a-bitches and the broadcasts at large. i'm affectionate for Spear. that lil fella can climb up with the vanilla scugs i shall allow it. Riv was... the most notable things to me about them was The Rot/Pebbles condition/his last words and then their crack cocaine eyes. love headcanoning UI made 'em like that with actual crackies. the ending with Moon didn't... really hit me for some reason- but still, i'd rank the coolness of their lore on the third place because of The Rot kush

now Saint... Saint is a though nut to crack to me because of Two ✌ reasons. 1. i still haven't fucking finished playing this asshole. 2. there is a lot of room for interpretations. which is a GOOD thing, i Like when that happens, but it makes talking about the lore of the rat harder. ultimately without any brainstorming, Saint's lore is a confusing outta-nowhere mess that is so extremely far from the original ideas and themes of the vanilla game that my head spins. at first i legit thought that the lore of the thing would break what vanilla has already laid out, but thankfully i'm a person who likes to shrug so i shrugged and let it be n started figuring out my own interpretation of it all which has been a lot of fun. what i have going on for Saint in my stuff i adore all SO so so much n ofc shout out to shkiki's interpretation for being one of the coolest i've seen too

n Sain't mechanics have. made me stupidly daring with death jumps i don't know what's happening but that tongue has made me basically jump off a ledge without any preparation before that Sky Islands/Chimney karma gate n i didn't even flinch about it cuz the.. tongue... i don't fucking know what happened to me there but it was bizarre n i like bizarre in this game so i'm givin that shit 4 pats out of 5 you-tried stars. i also got fucking BULLIED BY A SCAVENGER IN FRONT OF A SHELTER FOR TEN MINUTES THATS GETTING A 5 MINUTE FROWN OUT OF GODDAMMIT THIS GAME

Hello sorry to plague your inbox again but I have seen too many garbage takes of late. Besides your lovely name (confirmed!) head canon, got any other good takes? Spare some good soc vibes?? (No pressure or anything, just always like your takes and the shit show of it all is getting to me.)

You gotta keep your head up babe, the show genuinely bothered me for a long time, but it doesn't deserve to take up that much mental real estate and I refuse to let it kill my mood.

In terms of headcanons, I have, like, several thousand, but I've been thinking a lot about post-canon stuff lately. One that's been bouncing around my head for a while is that when Kaz finally musters up the courage to go back to the farm near Lij, he has a headstone made for Jordie placed next to where his parents are buried (can't decide if it would be on the land or in like the local cemetery, although I'm weirdly tied to the idea of his mom being buried under her flower garden next to the house) as a way of finally laying his spirit to rest.

I'm also fully convinced that Jesper and Wylan name their first adopted daughter Aditi. I will not be taking notes or criticism, I just know it. It makes Colm cry.

Also it's a running joke with Inej's crew that they name the few cats they keep on board after obscure saints because they "protect" the crew from mice. It started out as a joke, but then mice actually got into the rations after some of the cats died on a particularly long and brutal stretch of sailing, and then it just became a habit. They're still mostly kidding, but there's some affectionate reverence there now too. Inej thinks it's sweet.
