I find it so funny that my cat kept yelling at me when I was trying to put stuff away and talk to my sister. Came up to the both of us and meowing up a storm while being super lovey dovey like….he’s never like this.

bobby living on his own for the first time really makes him worried about money and spending in general. he's keeping coupons from convenience stores and marks down when they expire. he buys what he needs, not what's excessive. taking in older appliances from breakrooms (with permission! the ones that are about to be thrown out or are already thrown out) helps him save for new clothing - i do think hq has a department specifically for outfits since they do have a barbershop, but in this case, it's more casual, fitting clothing. an older headcanon of mine is that his double zero jersey is a few years old, which is why it looks so dirty, raggedy, and threadbare in some parts. he's trying to work on himself, and having clothes that he likes is a real mood booster.

it does take him some time to get around to buying things like a fitted sheet or a bedframe. he's trying to prioritize what's coming out of his paycheck on necessities like paying bills and rent, so it's he's on a floor mattress for a while. he doesn't mind, though! it's his! he's keeping everything on a calendar because he does have worries about making sure he can keep up with payments. it's initially weird for him, since sometimes, his cramped studio feels empty, but knowing the space is his, and he can afford it, it fills him with constant, month-to-month relief. his work is steady, and he's slowly building himself up.
