i need to stop coming up with highly specific trauma for my ocs it's becoming a problem. my latest guy from my mind has the dubious honour of having been run through with a blade while trying to shield someone they cared about with their body and faced with the choice of either pulling it out in order to go get help but risking bleeding out in the process, or allowing their friend to die doing the same. needless to say they were the survivor and now they have to live with that.

(gosh I hope that comic is at least readable- Ignore all the inconsistencies, I've never drawn and colored a comic before 😭) Anyways- meet the heroes of yore! sort of... you get to know what they look like at least!

Im finally getting around to publicly sharing some tidbits of lore with yall! Originally the "heroes of yore" spiel Galacta reads was going to be just text but I thought people would probably like it a little better if there was a comic to accompany it!

and im. not sure how to end this post?? I suppose I can say that Meta and Galacta Knight are open for asks!!! Im hoping I can keep the energy to keep this thing going, but only time will tell!

Today had been… hard, for Cas. A strange call from a friend lured him to the auto shop, concerned for his… well, “friend” wasn’t the correct term. But he cared for Axel like s friend, and wanted to be there for him. Whatever Axel went through, he was trying to forget. There was a bottle of vodka, half-finished, already on Axel’s bed when he got there.

As late afternoon turned to dusk, Cas walked down the streets of London. He wanted- he needed- to go home. He walked through the streets, not looking where he was going, eyes filled with tears.

Maybe Axel was meaner when he’s drunk. Maybe that’s the way he always was. Cas couldn’t tell anymore, and that scared him. Whatever the case, Cas bore it for hours. Eventually, the biting remarks and mean comments and angry words got to him, on top of everything else. Axel pushed him too far, hurt him too badly, to stay any longer.

Eventually, Cas had to stop walking, his eyes too full of tears to see. He stopped on the side, back against the wall as he sniffed and wiped tears away with his sleeves. But the tears just kept coming. Cas felt pathetic, standing on the sidewalk and crying like a child.
