Hello! To be honest I don’t know any Japanese, (well, I can only understand a bit of spoken but can’t read at all) do you think it would be really hard to play idol land pripara without any knowledge of Hiragana/katakana? I want to play it right away but I’m worried about doing things wrong or, what if some amount of interaction with other users is necessary? Won’t they think I’m stupid or something? 😭 I’ve never played any arcade idol game since I don’t live in Japan and this is the closest experience I can get to that

obviously the game's not out yet and I think you know your problem-solving ability better than I do, but that's probably not the answer you're looking for...

from what I've heard, people who know 0 japanese are able to play the arcade game generally. the app seems more convoluted but based on what little I know now, I don't think it would be impossible? if you're willing to poke around and maybe mess up just a little bit at first I bet you could figure it out. and I suspect that if you wait a little while, people will be falling over themselves to write an english play guide.

it seems possible to play without interacting w other people, but I think you'll want to try after a while, bc avoiding it will limit what you're able to do... I wouldn't worry about other people thinking you're stupid though! it's a new game and everyone will be trying to figure it out together, and there will probably be enough non-japanese-speaking users that you won't feel alone.

I assume you mean this one: 4. what is the plot bunny you’ve been carrying for the longest? optional bonus question: do you ever wonder why you haven’t written it yet and experience deep existential dread?

So, it's not so much that I carry plot bunnies that I just don't post them. I have entire notes on my phone for plot bunnies for different fandoms that I write in. They often get written at some point, but just because I wrote it doesn't mean it's good.

Take my story Stealing Magic as an example. I worked on that plot bunny for years. I wrote it, re-wrote it, and changed it. There are so many save files and variations of that single plot bunny. I will eventually post a plot bunny, it just needs to find the right story first.

That being said, some plot bunnies I enjoy but haven't written/posted:

the concept that Fenrir Greyback is actually like "A Good Dad" and raised Remus for several years with his mate after turning Remus into a werewolf. So when Remus eventually is "saved" and brought back to his deeply anti-werewolf family, he's upset and treated like an animal. Later, Fenrir brings Remus back into the back, where he belongs.

(TW: rape) Dolohov rapes Hermione in the DoM and she gets pregnant. Sort of a rape aftermath story

Hermione Granger as Tom Riddle's daughter. That's it, that's the idea. I just really fucking want it and I will write it so don't even try to stop me

A Sirius/Hermione/Remus story in the past. Taking place after Hermione has already changed time and saved everyone. It ttarts Sirmione and then Remus shows up and things develop later.

Harry and Hermione decide to get a flat together and OOPS it's actually a one bedroom. This is fine. They can handle this.

Hermione at Muggle Uni and sort of her friendship with Harry (develops into a romance) as perceived by Hermione's muggle friends. Harry is just this super hot, super rich, super chill guy that shows up and buys Hermione things all the time -- because he has money now and can't NOT because it's Hermione and she deserves the world -- and there are a lot of sugar daddy jokes, okay?

Three ships: Jaya has to be the first one on the list bc like,,,,, 6 year old me loved them and I still love them now so they've stood the test of time and I love them. Honestly TimBer partially bc I've found it so fun to dig through old livejournal entries for them but also just bc they're a canon couple who are nice and I like that idk. Also Cole and Kai from Ninjago bc they're canon to me and I feel bad if I have one but not the other so I keep them in pairs.

First ever ship: I'm gonna go with the first ship I ever treated like a ship (in terms of being really invested in their relationship) (excluding Jaya bc they don't get 2 spots on the list) which was probably Torak and Renn from Wolf Brother/Chronicles of Ancient Darkness. The first ship I was ever involved in fandom for was Klance so um :| yeah
