You were in your shared apartment, eagerly waiting for your girlfriends to return home. They had been on a mission for a week now, and tonight marked the night they'd finally be back with you.

It was the perfect time for their return because today marked your two-year anniversary with them both. While the public knew about your relationship spanning five years, they didn't know anything about you for safety reasons. You had met Carol and Diana on the day they saved you from a building collapse. Impressed, they asked you out for coffee.

Initially, it was innocent, and you were just friends with one of the most powerful superhero couples. After a few months of hanging out, feelings developed for both of them. You hesitated due to their obvious love for each other, but one drunk night at their place, you confessed your feelings. To your delight, they admitted having feelings for you since they first laid eyes on you, hesitant to mention it. Polyamory wasn't a problem for you, and that's how your relationship with Carol and Diana began, leading you to the present two years later.

Unable to go out to celebrate, you decorated the apartment with balloons, rose petals, and a candle-lit dinner with soft music playing in the background. Your aim was to express the love you felt for the two women over the years.

As you kept checking your phone for the time, it got late. This was normal for missions, but they had texted you hours ago about returning tonight. You reassured yourself with the thought that maybe they were still helping someone.

Turning to your phone to pass the time, a news article caught your attention. The headline read, 'Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman’s new girlfriend!?!'. Expecting it to be about you, you opened it, only to find pictures of Carol and Diana at a bar with Valkyrie, hands all over each other. The time stamp indicated it was taken tonight.

Heartbroken, you tossed your phone on the couch and cried for five minutes. Remembering your mom's advice, you decided it was time to take action. After finishing your cry, you blew out the candles, popped the balloons, discarded the rose petals, and put away the food. Now, you waited for your girlfriends to return home, despite your upset feelings.

A couple of hours later, you heard them outside, trying to open the door.

“SSSHHHH, we have to be quiet so we don’t wake her up. I would hate to wake her up this late,” Diana said through the door to Carol, who was attempting to open it.

“I know, but I hope she's up because I want to cuddle her so bad right now,” Carol said.

You sighed and paused your show as the door opened.

“Oh my gosh, sweetheart, you're awake!” Carol exclaimed drunkenly, rushing over to hug you. However, you didn't reciprocate the hug. She still cuddled you.

“Hey there, sorry we're home so late,” Diana stumbled over, attempting to kiss you. Unresponsive, you moved your head, causing her to kiss your cheek. Diana gave you a questioning look as you stood up, leaving Carol to fall onto the couch.

“I made dinner; let me go and heat it for you guys,” you said, walking into the kitchen to prepare a plate for them. After they finished eating, you cleaned their plates and got them ready for bed.

“Come on, guys, it's time for bed,” you announced, helping them change into sleepwear and tucking them into bed. After a few minutes, you heard them snoring.

Quietly returning to the room, you grabbed your to-go bag and, with a last glance at your sleeping girlfriends, left the apartment.

A few blocks away, you reached a safe place to spend the night. Despite the late hour, walking alone didn't worry you, knowing how to handle yourself in a fight, a skill Carol and Diana had made sure you acquired early in your relationship.

A couple of minutes later, you arrived at the apartment of your friends and knocked on their door. Dinah answered, and upon seeing your tearful eyes, invited you in.

“Hey sweetie, what are you doing here this late?” Dinah asked, concern evident.

“Come inside, sweetie, and we'll talk,” Dinah offered, leading you into the apartment where your friends Natasha and Wanda were present. After explaining the night's events, Dinah assured you that you could stay as long as needed.

The next morning, Carol and Diana woke up to each other but not to you. Calling out your name brought no response. Confused and concerned, they called you, but it went to voicemail. A knock on the door brought Monica, who informed them about the events of the previous night, showing them pictures of their night out.

“No, no, no, this can't be happening,” Diana checked her calendar, realizing they had missed the anniversary.

“I feel like shit now,” Carol admitted. Monica warned them not to go to the compound for a couple of days and left.

Distraught, Carol and Diana started to clean and decorate the apartment with gifts they had bought over the past few months for your anniversary. They showered and changed into your clothes while awaiting your return.

That was the thing about your relationship; you all couldn’t be long without each other’s clothes or scent. When they go on a long mission, they ask you to wear multiple of their clothes and to take some of your clothes. They will do the same for you. 

At Dinah’s place, without their clothes or scent, you couldn't sleep. Deciding to return, you walked back to your apartment. Opening the door, you found it decorated even more lavishly than you had arranged. Your girlfriends were asleep on the couch, wearing your hoodies. You smile at the two and give them both kisses on their foreheads. That was enough to stir them awake.

“You are home!!!” Carol exclaimed with an uncertain smile.

“Yeah, I had to come back because I couldn't sleep. I didn't pack any of your guys’ clothes in my to-go bag, so here I am,” you said, observing the gifts and feeling a mix of emotions.

“It is nice in here. It almost looks like last night before I tore it all down,” you noted. Seeing the pile of gifts, you sighed, “You didn't need to get me all those gifts to say sorry.”

“No, my dear, we bought all of those gifts for you over the past couple of months for our two-year anniversary. If you want proof, then we can show you the receipt,” Diana explained.

"We have been planning for this anniversary for a long time now. Sweetheart, we know that we messed up big time, and we will be making it up to you every day for the rest of our lives. This will never happen again, and that is something we can promise you. We love you and want you in our lives forever,” Carol says, nodding in agreement.

"I am not going to lie and say that I wasn’t hurt by your guys’ actions, and that will take time to heal fully with a lot of work. The thing is, I love you guys so much too. It was just a tough week at work, I did not see you guys, and the new article just sent me over the edge. I am sorry that I just ran away from the problem and did not talk about it. Can you guys forgive me?” you say with tears in your eyes.

"You have nothing to say sorry about, dear. It was mainly our fault. We will all do better next time,” Diana says.

"There will be no next time,” Carol says, and you all laugh. You guys come in for a group hug and kisses. The rest of the night, you express gratitude for the thoughtfulness of the anniversary preparations, cuddle, and watch movies.

I do like how the recent SuperFam redesigns went with these almost goofy club jackets that feel so perfectly goodygoody boyscout-y for the Super Fam specifically, but in general I just love the leather jacket over hero spandex look with superheroes and I think we need more of it. (Funny how it almost always goes hand in hand with no mask, I wonder why)

BUt not like Harley Quinn or Katana where it's just some regular closet cosplay looking outfit that happens to include the jacket it has to be the fullbody tights underneath (although james gunn suicide squad harley kinda manages both) Honestly the canaries almost don't count but they at least make it look good

A/N: I wanted a road trip fic, and considering this idea has been gathering dust for about a month now I figured I could give it life. I love Carol Danvers-She’s my wife (Diana Prince is DC wife) and I’ve honestly lost track of how many times I’ve seen Captain Marvel. Not to mention the poster (I had, it got torn -_-), the keychain, THE HAT (Like in the photo! I have one!), the little lego figure, the lunchbox…. Yeah, she’s my wife. Also kind of a slowburnish fic for the first part. I am considering making this into a small series.

Summary: After being cooped up in the tower for months during quarantine, you need to get out and get moving. You’re restless, and can barely fall asleep because of it. Then, Carol Danvers makes you an offer: A two-week road trip to see her friend and her god daughter. It’s two weeks straight in a car, with minor detours depending. With nothing better to do and the fact that you might rip your hair out if you have to stay inside for another fucking week-you accept.

“I need to get the hell out of this tower.” I grumbled as I paced by the bay windows. Natasha watched in interest as my rapid steps thundered throughout the room.

“Well they’re still trying to find a cure for the virus. We can go out, but we need to distance ourselves and wear masks.” She replied, lazily picking at her nails.

“Yeah, but I need to get out of this city. As much as I love the bustle of New York, I need to get out - take a break from the noise, the smells, the city itself. I need to get out into the country again.” I said as I walked towards the kitchen.

Despite quarantine making almost everyone gain some weight, I had stretched and done nearly everything I could indoors. It included working out, and I was happy with the results of that hobby. Arts and crafts were burned out, as well as movies and tv shows. Actually, the only thing I really did anymore was swim and read. Everything else I’d done to the point of mental exhaustion.

I opened the fridge and pulled out a beer, ignoring the fact that it wasn’t even four in the afternoon yet. 

“Well, you could go on a road trip.” She said, her torso leaned back over the arm of the couch as she stared at me. Stretching like a lazy cat, she got up and silently padded to the kitchen. I handed her a beer and lifted myself up to sit on the island counter. 

She nodded in thanks and took a sip from it. “I’ve got nowhere and no one to go to, Nat. Not even Clint’s family, because if I have the virus I don’t want to give it to them.” I replied.

She nodded, remembering what we’d agreed on. 

“We can’t do anything to help. I’d actually look bad if we went out and did anything. The best thing is to stay here, and only if we’re absolutely needed, then we leave.” Steve said as he flipped through the folder on the table. We’d finally gotten the official word from S.H.I.E.L.D. about what we were supposed to do. Or rather, what would look good to the press. 

Cases were rising and it seemed everyday they doubled, or tripled, in some states. I wasn’t worried for anyone in the tower, save Tony because even though the man had a metal heart, I doubted he washed his hands often. 

“And in the meantime?” Sam asked him, flipping through his folder. Steve started listing off ideas and I tuned out, starting to look through my own folder. 

Inside were some lists and things we could do, put together by the ever-loving government. Most ‘Ideas’ included making  our social media presence known and trying to encourage people to stay home, followed by training when we didn’t have anything better to do. 

“I’m not going back home, not with travel restricted and asymptomatic people.” Clint spoke, his hands resting on the back of his chair as he stared blankly at the table.

“It’s going to be okay, Clint. As soon as we’re cleared and the lockdown ends, we’ll be off. Until then, no one gets to visit your family. It’s for their safety.” Natasha said, soothingly rubbing a hand  on his back.

First thing on my list was sleeping, because I’d barely gotten back from a six week mission when this shitstorm started. Staying home for a while sounded nice.

“(Y/N), what’s the first thing you’re going to do?” Bruce’s voice ripped me out of my thoughts. I gave him a small, sleepy smile and replied that I was probably going to sleep for a week or so. The doctor chucked and patted my shoulder as he left the room, the others slowly draining out.

I sighed as I flipped through the folder some more, rereading the paper until it was memorized. I headed out of the conference room and to my floor, only stopping to get some food from the kitchen. We might have a small kitchen on our floors, but the best food was kept in the main kitchen. 

I yawned as I set the basket and the folder down on the kitchen island, and headed to my room. I kicked my shoes off and practically collapsed on the bed. I was out before my head hit the pillow. 

“I know that Clint isn’t even going to them. It’s horrible, I have no idea why we’re still not on lockdown.” I said as I absentmindedly read the label on the bottle. 

Natasha sighed as she drained her beer, and tossed in the garbage. “Because our government is filled with horrible people who value their own wealth over the lives of others. Greed is what America has become.” She said over her shoulder as she headed to the elevators.

Where she was off to wasn't my business and I had a feeling she’d rather shoot me than have me find out about it. I stayed in the kitchen while I finished my beer, going through my ‘inspirational’ Instagram feed of people doing their routines and workouts from home. I grew tired of it rather quickly, and tossed my empty bottle in the trash. Maybe I should just delete social media in general. 

I walked out of the kitchen, busy enough deleting Snapchat and Instagram that I didn’t notice I was about to bump into someone until we collided.

“I am so sorry!” Immediately came out of my mouth as I stepped back, looking at the figure who was….

Carol freaking Danvers. 

I had no idea she was staying here, let alone that she was on this planet. 

“Hey, it’s no big deal. I was actually looking for you.” She said as she straightened her jacket. Her blonde hair was growing long, just barely running past her shoulders. Dressed in a pair of workout pants and her windbreaker with a white pair of sneakers - and the fact that she had her bluetooth headphones around her neck, it seemed like she just got back from a run outside.

“Me?” I questioned, raising an eyebrow. She grinned and I swore my heart shuddered at the sight. It wasn’t known that I had a moderate-to-severe crush on her, and as far as I was publicly concerned, only Natasha and Wanda knew about it. The latter had told the former. Damn mind readers.

“Natasha said you were about to go insane from being cooped up in here.” She replied, heading past me and into the kitchen. I turned and watched her start to make a protein shake.

“I’m taking a road trip to see my friend. It’s a two week drive, because she lives in the middle of nowhere. I was looking for someone to come along with me.” She said as she prepared her drink. 

My jaw opened and closed like a rusty gate before my brain finally registered the words and formed an answer to them. 

“Yeah, sure. When do we leave?” I asked. I finished deleting all the social media, save Pinterest, Tumblr, and Youtube off my phone. Bye-Bye snap streaks. 

“Tomorrow. I was figuring we’d stop and get some snacks before we headed out on the road. You’re not allergic to cats, are you?” She asked me, sipping her drink. 

I shook my head. A two week road trip with my crush? Holy shit…

She nodded at me. My phone buzzed, and with a glance I knew that Natasha had set me up for this.

Wow. Sometimes you love your red headed assassin friends. 

“Okay then. Guess I’ll go pack.” I said as I turned, headed for the elevator. 

Holy shit.

BUT, in order to include the most characters, I have devised a group round with 128 characters divided into 8 groups and have sorted them in a way that prevents this competition from becoming a batman vs spider-man final.

If you wouldn’t mind could you please do a crossover fic where Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman are soulmates and found each other on a mission but they know they have a 3rd mate. You have lived in the same confined space for as long as you can remember. You know nothing about the outside world but what you have heard from the scientist experimenting on you. You never understood why they took you and experimented on you as a child. All you knew was that your blood was extraordinary, and they had to take a lot of it every morning.

Today was like no other for you. You get woken up by the giant fluorescent lights that wake you up simultaneously every day. Then your food is given to you through the slot on the door. It was enough food to keep you alive. You never thought it was because you were a pretty small, weak person, even after all the blood they take from you daily. 

After you finish your breakfast, you put the tray back in the slot to let them know you are ready. 

“165, step away from the door and put your hands up,” the guard says from the other side of the door. You step away from the door and put your hands up like normal. You never know why they had to do this because you were too weak to fight back. By the off chance of you fighting back and getting out of here, you didn’t know where to go. This place was home to you, and you couldn’t leave home. The only thing you ever wanted to do was go outside and feel the sun on your face. The way the scientist talks about the sun excites you, even if they complain about it sometimes. It sounded better than the fluorescent lights that hit your skin every day.  

The guard opens the door and steps through but stops when an alarm goes off. The alarm was so loud and foreign to you that you had to cover your ears and shut your eyes. After what felt like centuries, the alarm stops going off. You remove your hands and slowly open your eyes to see that your door is open with no guards. 

“This is my chance. This is my chance to leave this place,” you say to yourself and try to get up but cannot. Fear took over and made you unable to move. You wanted to leave here so bad, but your body was in shock and couldn’t move, and you started to cry. 

You started to hear noises coming down the hallway. You ignore it because the guards are probably coming by to check to see if you left. They would see you in the same spot and laugh at you about how pathetic you are.

“Shhh, don’t you hear that,” an unknown voice says down the hallway, which makes you stop crying for a second.

“I don’t hear anything, babe; let's go and finish clearing the building so we can go back and cuddle,” a second unknown voice says. You stay quiet in order to hear the beautiful voices again.

“I do too, but I swear I heard someone crying. I am going to look around some more,” the first unknown voice says and walks closer to your cell. The footsteps come closer and closer to your cell until the most beautiful two women you have ever seen come to your door. 

“See, I told you I heard something,” the taller brunette women with a sword and shield say, walking closer to you. You cringe a little because you aren’t a huge fan of weapons.

“Hey, I am not going to hurt you,” the brunette puts her hands up and slowly drops her weapons on the floor. 

“See, we are good here and are just trying to help. My name is Diana, and this is one of my soulmates, Carol. What is your name? ” Diana says, then points to Carol, who is right behind her.

“Soulmate?” you question either than answer her question. 

“Yes, soulmate. Everybody has at least one soulmate in the world. A soulmate is a person that is supposed to connect with your mind and body. Even though you just met them, you wanted to make them feel better. You roll up your sleeve to show them the same mark that you had on your arm. 

“If it makes you guys feel any better, I have the same mark,” you show them your mark. They look at your mark closely with wide eyes and start to come closer to you. 

“Can we take a closer look, sweetie?” Diana says in a soft tone, and you nod. They both approach you slowly and calmly to look at your mark.

“Do you know what this means?” Carol says with watery eyes, and you shake your head.

“No, I have never heard of soulmates until now,” you say, ashamed. 

Don’t worry, sweetie, we will teach you everything that you need to know” Diana and Carol smile at you, which makes you know that you are going to be safe with them.

It has been a few months since your soulmates found you in that hole at Hydra. They help you experience the world that you never thought you would. You learned a lot about soulmates the first day they brought you back. They didn’t do anything with you because they wanted to ensure you were comfortable with them before anything happened. 

They gave you the shared king bed in their apartment while they slept on the floor and couch. You felt so bad, but they insisted on it. Eventually, they moved to the bed with you, which you love. They put you in the middle of the bed while cuddling you tight to ensure you don’t leave. 

You meant both teams that they are on, and everyone loves you. They even help you train to become stronger.

Now you are training with Natasha and Dinah, working on hand-to-hand combat. 

“You have to keep your hands up at all times to protect your face” Dinah moves your hands to the side of your head in a defense stance. You sigh out of exhaustion because you have been training with Black Widow and Black Canary for about two hours. You want to go back to your apartment and cuddle with your girlfriends. 

“Good, just like that because if I swing at you,” Natasha comes at you with a right hook, not hard enough to hurt you, that you block, “ you are protected. Now, if your hands are down,” zone out of the conversation because you heard your girlfriends come into the training room. You turn your head excited to see them, forgetting that Natasha is demonstrating what not to do during a fight. 

The next thing you know, Natasha punches you in the face. Luckily she didn’t put her full force behind it because you would have been knocked out. You turn back to Natasha and see her shocked face. 

“I am so sorry! I didn’t mean to hit you! This is why you need to put your hands up,” Natasha turns to look at your girlfriends. 

“I swear I didn’t mean to hit her. I was showing her why she needed to put her hands up. I didn’t think that she would actually not pay attention,” Natasha says, but it was too late. Carol and Diana were already chasing her around the training room.

“Can you please tell your girlfriends to not kill my girlfriend?” Dinah says to you.

“Yeah, sorry. This happens whenever they think I am being threaten. I am impressed because this is the longest they have chased someone. Normally they would have caught the person by now” You and Dinah laugh together.

“Yeah, that’s my badass girlfriend” Dinah admires Natasha’s ass that is being chased.

“Babes! Babes stop! She didn’t mean to. I wasn’t paying attention to what she was showing me. I was too busy admiring two angels walking in,” You say, then Diana and Carol stop dead in their tracks, awwing at you.

“Works every time,” you whisper to Dinah, smirking. 

“Now, can we go home so I can cuddle with you two?” You say to your girlfriends, pouting.

“Of course, sweetie,” Diana says while she and Carol walk over to you.

“I call being the middle spoon,” you say, jumping in place and feeling kiss each side of your cheek.
