"OMG, Carbo, I can't believe you met Chris Catalyst!" you say. "What was it like?" you ask. WELL. I sit down when I get to the venue and look up to find that Chris and I are approximtely 2 feet away from each other while he's just casually eating curry. So now I'm surprised and stunned into silence, Chris has a mouthfull of rice, and we're just staring at each other for a couple seconds (sound up) --

this was SO much harder than I anticipated. omg. I realized about 5 minutes into this that Sanrio and I could not have more dissimiliar art styles if we tried. I haven't done smooth line art in years. but we are so squishy!!!!

Her turf has the lowest gun-related crime, because she has publicly said she will carbonate the eyeballs of anyone caught committing a mass shooting.

Local PD also has a tense relationship with her, since she has - on more the one occasion - stepped in when they've abused their authority over civilians.

Here's some bitey normal and Transformania AU Drericka drawings inspired by @carbo-ships 's Ghost ghoul self ship drawings a while back, with also some old Dracula posters and I think Phantom of the Opera mixed in too.

I like the idea of even though Ericka's a gorgon she kinda gets into the vamp aesthetic a bit with it. XD It's a bit kinky but it's not terribly graphic and everything's consensual.

Don't worry, Drac'll be fine. As a vampire, he's immune to Gorgericka's venom. And as a human, all it does is anesthetize him/knock him out.

Bird’s Dr. Stone Character Randomizer Game Thing Or Whatever You Wanna Call It (For Bored Fan Creators)

Basically you set a number generator from 1-6, and that tells you which list you roll from next. Then set the generator to 1-15, and whichever character you get is the one you draw/write about/headcanon/whatever to your heart’s content. I designed it that way so that people would be less likely to keep rolling for the more major characters (sometimes it’s fun to get a really niche one)

I included every named character and a few unnamed ones too, so some are rather obscure but you can still look them up. Don’t feel pressured to use the character you land on—just roll again until you decide you’re cool with it :P

BOTR - Day 15 - June 29, 2024

Jane and I started the day with an easy run around town in anticipation of Sunday’s marathon. Marathon Weekend draws lots of people and lots of activities. We headed back to get the rest of the crew to enjoy the happenings downtown.

The finish is on a bridge over the river.

Within 3/4 of a mile walk we reached the first open street market in town. Generally, they were selling veggies and baked goods. We all tried some baked goods and then moved on. The next market was all apparel so we just kept going. The third had a variety of crafts vendors and was more interested to stroll through. Next we stopped at a women’s clothing store and, ultimately, at the marathon packet pickup and expo.

Now we have to finish!

So it’s for real! Jane and I are going to run a marathon tomorrow. I’ve been nursing an injury which isn’t worth discussing. I was seriously thinking about skipping the race but how could I. It was to be Jane’s first marathon. At a minimum, we had to start together.

So as our stroll through town progressed, we stopped at Conflux Brewery for lunch (no one had a beer). Then on to the rooftop bar at the AC Hotel to soak in the views of the surrounding hills. This time, a few of us had cocktails (marathon runners excluded). After we made our way back to the house.

Dinner was at home. We carbo loaded with a chicken pasta salad. Then, after a few hands of Phase 10, we hit the sack. The only change was that Jane’s dear friend Galen joined us for dinner and cards. Damn if she wasn’t leading in phases when we stopped for the night!
