Working on some OC stuff. Major Siegfried Isenstein is usually a very alert, hyper, well groomed character so I wanted to have a go at drawing him disheveled and vulnerable, after all, this officer suffers from a secret laudanum addiction. He’s about 24/25 around the time Ottoway is set (1916), the messy/wet hair makes him look younger. Siegfried is the sort to look at himself in the mirror for a long time, making sure his hair and uniform is perfect. He really didn’t want anyone to see him looking untidy. There will be lots of scars on his back later when I colour it in.
