His softness is so important to his character that we are meant to instantly recognize that this is him. THIS is is his establishing shot in this short and i think thats so important

So glad that my boss- who makes 3x my salary- whose literal job is to ensure we have enough money to function (we are in a deficit again so isn’t good at his job) was told that me working three positions is too much and if we could lessen my work load just a little bit that would be great because I’ve been here 6 months and I’m burnt out, he heard this and responded with if you do less work people stop coming we no longer make money and no one has a job. But I’m doing a really good job at the job I hate so that’s something I guess.

Not to complain about things that are largely inconsequential, but oh my god it’s rough being a Jay/Jaya fan around Jay haters sometimes you just cannot fucking win.

Like everything he does is taken the worst way possible no matter the context, circumstances, actions of other characters, etc etc. y’all will ALWAYS base him off his worst outings (skybound, crystallized, etc etc) in way you don’t with other characters

Like Zane literally commits genocide and no one (rightfully) holds that against him. For a variety of reasons but one of the big ones being the writers don’t really do anything with it after S11 (or even during it (that and it’s a Lego show for 8-13 year olds)).

I’m not saying he’s a perfect character free from sin, that’s not how writing works, and I don’t want him to be one either. I’m just so incredibly tired of not being able to say anything about him in certain community spaces without having to feel like I’m walking on eggshells.

It’s just…..incredibly frustrating

God living with my parents is draining me of my sense of self and personhood.. I’ve reverted back to hiding myself all the time to keep the peace and it’s excruciating.

The worst part is that they Know. I’ve come out already. It says Eliot on my diploma. Do I have to make it a fucking argument for her to acknowledge that I’m my own person and not a doll she sees herself in? Do I have to tiptoe around a rant he parrots straight from Fox News assholes? I’m just trying to live and I want my parents to love me still- and fucking act like it

I made so much progress in my self-confidence and happiness in college and now I’m full of shame and guilt and convenient silence.

started referring to our au as the "98%" au since bryan woods said there was actually a 98% chance of the sisters getting to leave normally.

this au ofc is a lot more complex than them just leaving after an extremely awkward conversation and never seeing mr reed again though. it consists of mr reed stalking paxton and slowly manipulating his way into befriending her outside of her mission work (and outside of barnes's protection) and then over time isolating her away from her community and having her turn to him instead of her faith to be controlled.
