Starry Eyed: TNG FC Solkar x Fem! Reader (2/3)
A/N: Here is part two! Finally right? This part got to be so long! I'm going to have to make it three parts!
Prompt: Solkar reads an old Terran romance novel. (Oh gods.)
Terran mating was more complicated than Solkar expected. He had read the book Cochrane had given to him. However, it did not yield the results he was looking for. He attempted to follow the book's instructions but was stopped when he asked Sloane where he could acquire a horse.
"Why do you need a horse?" Lily asked confusion plastered on her face.
"I require it for the Terran Mating Ritual," Solkar stated as if it were a common fact.
"Who told you that?" She asked, crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow.
Solkar pulled the book from his robe pocket and handed it to Sloane. She took the book and rolled her eyes, letting out a long frustrated sigh. "That's where that went. I loaned it to Zef and then it disappeared."
She looked back at Solkar who had an eyebrow raised in equal confusion. "This isn't that kind of book, it's, it's a," She stammered, struggling to explain the difference between real human relationships and a sexy fantasy novel. "A work of fiction, it's not real."
Solkar was more confused than ever. "If it is fiction, how does a Terran Mating Ritual take place?"
Lily went quiet, she went to open her mouth but closed it again, as if she were recanting an unspoken statement. "You know, I have to go." She turned away completely shellshocked.
Solkar realized that this must be a sensitive subject for their species as well even with their open displays of emotion. He decided to return to the bar to see if could observe Terrans more closely.
"Perhaps I may learn through observation." Solkar thought
When he reached the bar he noticed quite a few patrons already sitting in pairs. He watched their behaviors closely, some were just speaking, while others held hands or caressed each other's faces. Then in one of the darker corners of the bar, he noticed a pair of Terrans biting each other.
He found Zefram at the bar arguing with (Y/N). He gained his attention waving subtly, "Please, Cochrane, approach."
He quickly jostled over to him, pulled up a chair to the table, and sat across from him. When he was close enough Solkar carefully pointed at the couple. "I believe those patrons are attacking each other."
He looked over to where he was pointing and gave out a bolstering laugh. He even slapped the table a couple of times. Solkar did not understand why Cochrane would have such a reaction.
"No, no, they're, they're kissing." He said wiping a tear from his eye.
Solkar raised an eyebrow in bewilderment. "Kissing?"
"It's what humans do when we like each other. It's a way of showing affection." He sighed, still chuckling. "I was wondering when those two would get together."
Solkar examined the display more closely, the couple had their lips pressed together, one even licked the other's lower lip. He felt his face flush at the erotic display. Zefram watched their otherworldly visitor with a soft smile.
"What do you do to show affection to each other?" He asked in a cocky tone, leaning in.
Solkar looked away from the couple quickly aiming his gaze on the far wall. "We do not perform such displays in public on Vulcan."
He still didn't have much reference of what to do. However, he decided that sticking his tongue down her throat was not a good way to start. He looked back to Cochrane sitting across from him who was still red-faced from laughing so hard.
"You never did tell me who you were referring to the other night." Zefram said, "Come on tell me."
Solkar was rather unsure if he should divulge the information so he shyly pointed to (Y/N) who was helping another couple across the bar. Zefram's eyes widened in surprise, and he looked back at Solkar.
"Really?" He sounded caught off guard. "Her?"
Solkar nodded, "I istaya tor, tor ish-veh t'nash-veh katelau. "
Cochrane looked befuddled then shook his head. "If you want to try be my guest."
Lily then walked into the bar, most likely looking for Cochrane. She went up to (Y/N) and talked briefly before she turned to Cochrane and Solkar. She quickly strode over to Cochrane with her book in hand, then once in range smacked him on the head with it.
"What are you doing giving this to him?" She snapped
"Ow, hey, I was only trying to help." Zefram said rubbing his head "You know I'm not very good with these things."
She looked to Solkar who stiffened slightly.
"Who is it?" Lily asked.
Zefram jabbed his thumb over his shoulder towards (Y/N). Lily let out an exasperated sigh and looked at Solkar with kinder eyes.
"I'm sorry Zef confused you." She pulled up a chair, "But he's right, he can be useless about these things. Why don't you tell me how this all started?"
Solkar folded his hands atop the table. "(Y/N) was one of the first humans I had a social interaction with. I hold a deep respect for her, she has made this social gathering spot available to my crew as well as myself and I find her behaviors fascinating."
Lily and Zefram looked at each other, they were not sure what to expect. They looked back at Solkar who's face was slightly flushed green.
"Have you told her any of this?" Zefram asked.
Solark shook his head in the negative. "It was why I was trying to learn how to initiate the Terran Mating Ritual."
Lily smacked her forehead realizing what he had finally meant, "Solkar are you trying to ask her out on a date?"
"A date?" Solkar asked
"It's when you spend time together to get to know each other," Lily said.
"In my culture, our parents arrange our bonds at seven." Solkar stated casually, "We can choose later whether or not to change the arrangement."
"Wait so you're married?" Lily asked shocked.
"I am not currently bound in any such way. My prior mate preferred another." Solkar said he seemed a little disheartened.
"So you're divorced?" Zefram said raising his eyebrows amused.
"While match-making services are available, I did not see any logical reason for seeking their aid," Solkar said.
Zefram leaned back into his chair for a moment, "The first human-vulcan relationship. We're really in unexplored territory."
"I'd try talking to her during the metroshower lucky for us it cleared up just in time for everyone to see it," Lily said smiling almost laughing.
"I do not understand," Solkar was unsure of what his new companions meant, "How would that be the most logical time to request such an event?"
"Trust me, it will be romantic." Lily said

Humans are Vulcan catnip, I swear to Q.
Spock and Kirk: No need to explain. In any universe they are drawn together and Spock abandons any sense of rationality if his Captain is hurt or just looks at him sweetly.
Sarek and Amanda: Admitted he married Amanda for love, not logic. Then made Spock.
Solkar and Zefram: Ten seconds off the spaceship and Solkar decides to do the diplomatic thing and make out with this human.
Surak and Archer: Archer was given Surak's katra without his knowledge and when T'Pau attempted to extract him Surak clung to the mental doorframe because he was safer here and he liked it better here, despite the logic of being housed in a nice logical Vulcan mind instead.
Solok and Sisko: Solok abandoned all pretense of logic when he won a wrestling match with a young Sisko and became so obsessed with him that he taught an entire Vulcan Starfleet crew how to play baseball just so he could beat Sisko again.
T'Pol and Trip: T'Pol became so attached to the Enterprise crew that she gave up her military career with Vulcan to continue to serve as First Officer, and to keep close with her boyfriend.
Tuvok and Janeway: Tuvok is fiercely loyal to Janeway, to the point that he will go along with her illogical plans just because he has such great faith in her.
Soval and Forrest: Soval respected Forrest but when Forrest died saving Soval it uprooted what loyalty he had left to the Vulcan High Command (who he then realised was corrupt) and he went rogue trying to save Vulcan from itself. (Really watch for the nose flare when he talks to Archer next to Forrest's casket, that Vulcan is pissed.)

Shout out to Cully Fredricksen, who played "Vulcan" in first contact, aka captain of the T'plana-Hath, aka Solkar. It was a small role, but every year his face and that scene are key to celebrating first contact day.

So everyone is focusing on Solkar (aka That Vulcan Captain) being slutty slutty at First Contact (correct)
But like
Did anyone ever point out that accidentally fucking aliens is something that just keeps happening to Zefram Cochrane? Man's absolutely oblivious to it. He's joining erotically with a cloud and doesn't notice for years. He could be going on about his day and stumbling right into an alien sex party thinking it's light hearted conversation. Is it his energy? How does this keep happening to him hfjdjskaksfjjjg

i dont think the vulcan fella has a name but i'm pretty sure he's spock's ancestor. or maybe thats just fanon
@makingshortstorieslong suggested Solkar! Which looks right! It's not listen in any description of first contact cos he's unnamed in that scene, but memory alpha says this lol
Solkar was the first Vulcan ambassador to Earth and, as such, was the answer to a crossword puzzle clue which a female crewmember was trying to solve while forced to live in Enterprise NX-01's catwalk for several days. Captain Archer supplied her with the answer. (ENT: "The Catwalk")
And
In an unpublished interview with Larry Nemecek, "The Catwalk" writer Michael Sussman said that he intended Spock's grandfather Solkar referenced in that episode to be the unnamed Vulcan captain of the T'Plana-Hath from First Contact.
Good job everyone

Star Trek for the ask game: 1, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 21, 25
Anon, I love you, but this took days weeks
1. the character everyone gets wrong.
The SNW writers about Spock apparently.
3. screenshot or description of the worst take you've seen on tumblr
Any of those dadifications of the captains, posts. Janeway is not the mom of the Voyager crew, Picard is not the dad of the Enterprise crew, Spock and Kirk are not the dads of the Enterprise crew.
6. which ship fans are the most annoying?
Garak/Bashir fans
8. common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about.
(this is about TOS Amanda, idk her characterisation in Disc and SNW), Amanda didn't accept Spock for being Spock either. I repeat, Amanda did NOT accept her son as himself either. It wasn't just Sarek that couldn't accept his son was part human, Amanda couldn't accept that he was part Vulcan either.
9. worst part of canon.
Tuvix. Petty, but Spock being related to everyone (Arthur Conan Doyle, Solkar, Surak, saw people say T'Pau and T'Pol not sure how true those are.)
10. worst part of fanon.
I'm not sure of this one.
13. worst blorboficiation.
Kirk. I think people are so determined to disprove that Kirk is a womaniser, dumb farm boy, that they've forgotten he still has flaws.
14. that one thing you see in fics all the time.
Scotty is an alcoholic.
15. that one thing you see in fanart all the time.
Characters look really muscular when they shouldn't
21. part of canon you think is overhyped.
Please don't kill me. The handshake moment from First Contact (and now SNW).
25. common fandom complaint that you're sick of hearing.
I'm not sure about this one. I see some complaining at Disco for having queer characters but they don't look like queer characters.
#anon i hope you see that i did eventually respond#I'm sorry i took so long#[redacted] consumed my soul

Starry Eyed: TNG FC Solkar x Fem! Reader (1/3)
A/N: He looks just like a dream, the prettiest Vulcan I've ever seen. Thank you for the compliment! Apparently, there is very little on Solkar x Readers so as far as I know I'm the first one. I had so much fun with this that I had to write a two-shot!
Prompt: Solkar Meet-Cute
The rain of Terran was always a curious sight for the Vulcan visitors. Today the heavy spring rains brought a strong gust of cold winds. Solkar and his crew took shelter in some of the makeshift buildings of the encampment. Solkar had just finished discussing the next steps in introducing the next Vulcan diplomacy to the Terran governments.
He was about to return to his ship when the downpour started. Noticing that others had taken shelter from the rain, he followed suit. He followed quite a few Terrans entering a social gathering place he had visited when he first arrived. He found himself spending much of his idle hours there studying the alien life forms.
It was dimly lit with tables and chairs scattered around a central counter. The Terrans referred to it as "a bar". People were sitting and talking amongst themselves. A few glanced up at him and his associates. It seems as if they were still getting used to the idea of having foreigners on their planet. Solkar took a seat nearest the window to observe the rainfall.
He had been fascinated by Terran's weather patterns. He also found observing Terran's social practices to be just as interesting. Fortunately for him, his orders were to remain at the camp until the delegates arrived. He was rather grateful to remain and observe the new surroundings of the "Montanas".
Especially since a particular Terran had caught his attention. She was the "Bartender" a young Terran female around her mid to late thirties. Solkar found her presence most agreeable since she seemed to always take their dietary needs very seriously. She noticed him and his colleagues sitting furthest away, but that didn't stop her from coming up to greet them.
"Good Afternoon, Gentlemen." She smiled pulling out a writing tool and paper, "What can I do for you?"
"We are taking shelter from the rain," Solkar stated bluntly, "We do not require any refreshments or meals. We shall merely observe."
She nodded putting the items back into her pocket. "Well it might be a while, if you change your mind, don't hesitate to ask."
She turned and disappeared into the swarm. Solkar watched as she continued her work. She carried heavy trays, broke up a few fights, and even helped another Terran stop crying. They certainly did not hide their feelings from each other.
By the time the rain stopped, it was long past nightfall. His crew returned to the ship but he lingered behind. The bar was empty except for the two of them. He watched as she cleaned the remains of the patrons away. An old song crooned softly from the deteriorated radio. Solkar was soothed by the strange calm. That was until Cochrane stumbled in, his face red and flushed.
"(Y/N), can you fix me a drink." He begged.
"The bar is closed, and I cut you off yesterday!" She glowered at him putting her hands on her hips.
"Come one, just one." He looked around desperately and noticed Solkar. He smiled and walked up to him. He clasped Solkar's shoulders and smiled at her. "I don't think our friend here has had a chance to try it?"
"Zef," She scolded in a warning tone, "The last thing we should do is poison "our friend"."
Cochrane laughed and let go of Solkar walking up to (Y/N) arms open. "Come one, just for old time's sake."
She rolled her eyes, "Fine sit down. I'll make you a drink."
Zef wrapped his arms around her and gave her a quick squeeze before releasing her. She waved him off then returned to the counter and disappeared behind it. Cochrane sat down across from Solkar.
"How are you liking Earth so far?" Cochrane asked Solkar
"I find your social behaviors differ greatly from ours," He said looking back at the bar. "I am curious about your," Solkar paused, thinking for a moment.
Zefram leaned in, "Women?"
Solkar turned to him and nodded slightly.
"Well, they shouldn't be too different from the ones on your planet?" Cochrane said with a laugh, "Who is it?"
Before Solkar could respond, (Y/N) returned with a drink for Cochrane. She placed it down on the table and he quickly snatched it up.
"Hey! There's no booze!" He complained.
"I told you I'd make you a drink, just not what kind." She said winking, "Now finish up so I can go to bed I'm tired."
She waited for Zefram to finish his drink before shooing them both away. Once outside Solkar looked up into the night sky, it was completely void of stars. He assumed that the clouds had not fully passed similar to the clouded thoughts in his own mind. He was pulled away from his observation by Zefram who tapped his shoulder. He waved Solkar over to his dwelling.
The inside of Cochrane's dwelling was just as disorganized as his workshop. There were papers, books, clothes, and materials scattered all over. Solkar watched in silence as Zefram dug through an old storage container.
"Here," he said pulling out an old tattered book, "Try this."
Solkar took the book, on the cover was a man with long yellow hair, and a very busty woman leaning against him. He was very confused and nodded toward Cochrane as thanks then promptly exited.
Solkar thought about what Zefram had said. He had not observed human mating rituals before. Perhaps this would give him insight.

Then, just because this has piqued your curiosity, you click on 'extended family' and discover that Amanda Grayson is related to thee T'Pau, original founding member of the Federation and the only one to decline a Council Seat, and Solkar, Amanda's great grandfather-in-law as well as the first Official Vulcan on Earth who gamely shook hands with Zefram Cochrane.
The Schn T'Gai space wiki is absolutely bursting with annotations upon annotations. People have grown old and died before completely combing through that family's history. Most fall down the rabbit hole of clicking on Spock's link and finding 'Captain James T Kirk' as the linked spouse and down they spiral into the shenanigans of the USS Enterprise.
imagine being average federation citizen doing a wikipedia dive on Amanda Grayson for like a book report or whatever and you click on “spouse” and it links you to a guy who was thee vulcan ambassador to earth for like 200 years and publicly called the klingon ambassador a murderer once and you think huh neat and click on “children” and the first person listed is described as “career criminal, activist and religious evangelist” with a rap sheet as long as your arm ending with him taking the entire government hostage in nimbus iii and then no death date he's just listed as “missing” and the second kid is a starfleet science hero you've seen on the poster of like 7 different documentaries on space netflix and you notice his year of death is listed as 2285 but “years active” goes on like 100 years past that and also he's apparently the reason earth isn't completely underwater right now? then you read his sister's article and it's all “starfleet's first mutineer” “blamed for starting the first federation-klingon war” “lauded for ending the first federation-klingon war” but is weirdly vague on what happened to her after that and the article is edit locked and her year of death has like 6 annotations attached to it

Admiral Pike & The Monks of Boreth: Is Spock Really The Only Hope?
This is effectively co-written by my good friend @seismologically-silly
Is Spock Really A Continuation of The Great Men of History trope?
“The best hope for any lasting peace between Romulans and The Federation? Whelp, turns out he’s lying in a bio bed.” -Admiral Pike, A Quality of Mercy
This line implies that the only person who can reunite Romulans and Vulcans and create peace between them and the federation is Spock. Which implies that A Quality of Mercy ascribes to the “great men of history” trope/theory which is, outdated, by our standards of historical analysis today.
Maybe that’s what the writers intended, after all, Spock is notoriously Star Trek’s ✨special boy✨. But, I wanna explain the other major theories of historical analysis that could be applied to Spock’s life before I get into why Pike and even (if not especially) the Klingon monks of Boreth would see it in the “Great Man” way and not from any sort of alternative perspective.
Spock isn’t special, he’s easy to track historically, he’s a product of his cultural environment and of “History From Below”.
If you wanted to get dramatic, Spock could never have happened if Humans and Vulcans hadn’t looked up to the sky and wondered what else was out there. You can blame Zephram Cochrane and Solkar for Humans and Vulcans meeting on good terms.
You can blame Tucker and T’Pol for falling in love and heartbreakingly failing to have a child due to the limitations of their time’s technology. You can blame Amanda and Sarek for daring to try again, and this time succeeding. You can blame their parenting failures and successes, and the virtues and flaws of the cultures from which they came, for making Spock who he is.
You can blame everyone who has ever loved Spock who ensured his continued survival. He is not independently not inherently special, he is unique in the universe and the chain of events in his timeline are what made him possible. He is possible because two alien worlds were curious, and found that they could love each other.
It may well be there will be more Spocks in the future that will do as he would have done had he survived in the Balance of Timeline. The point being Spock is most likely the shortest distance between two points when it comes to Romulan peace. Even time travelers will have limits on their perspective. Which brings me to the second point.
Why Pike and the Boreth Monks think Spock is the only one who can do it because he’s Their Very Special Boy.
The simple answer is this: Pike loves Spock and wants him to be alive again, and Klingons believe in the “One Great Man” theory, one look at how they regard Kahless is proof of that.
Of all the political entities uninvolved with the Federation, the Klingons have the most to lose and the most to gain. We know that the two Empires turn on each other at some point between TOS and TNG. If Qo’nos and/or Boreth get destroyed by the Romulan war before another individual like Spock arises, they would have every reason to think Spock is the only one. Especially if Time Crystals cannot cause an individual to experience temporal displacement past the event of its own destruction.
Another very real possibility is that Romulus could destroy/conquer Vulcan (or already has!) in the Balance of Timeline. By wiping Vulcans as a culture out and assimilating the rest into Romulan culture, it would be much, much harder for an individual like Spock to emerge. Spock was the bridge between humanity and vulcankind. Spock’s Vulcan cultural upbringing and paired with Vulcan’s shared cultural roots with Romulus and his human compassion are what made peace possible. He is Human and Vulcan, and Vulcans and Romulans are each other. Both Spock’s logic and compassion are what allows them to recognize that.
An entirely different chain of events would have to occur to produce a person uniquely suited like that again. It took over 200 years of Human-Vulcan alliance to produce Spock, it may take even longer under the grip of a totalitarian Empire like the Romulan one for others like him to emerge again. A Vulcan/Romulan who did not remove all Vulcan tradition. A Human/Vulcan who was able to overcome their war born hatred of the opposition. An unusual Romulan with a dream. It may take longer than Pike will live, longer than Qo’nos, Vulcan, even Earth has left in the galaxy, longer than it would be considered worth waiting. Even if Spock’s not special, he is the quickest and easiest solution.
Which would effectively still made Admiral Pike’s statement true regardless of the historical theory you favor most. Spock is the culmination of a briefly opened window in the course of galactic history. You remove any part of that chain of events: Cochrane, Solkar, Tucker, T’Pol, Amanda, Sarek, Burnham, Pike, or Kirk, you do not get the Ambassador you need for the job. It doesn’t matter if he is or is not a “Great Man of History” the end product is the same. A much, much longer war than what would otherwise be had. Which is something Pike would (and does) find totally unacceptable.
Spock may not be a “Great Man of History” but he sure as hell is an unprecedented biproduct of it.

All these reboots and still no one gives us a sitcom of Solkar and Zefram getting into mischief... Shame.

"Zefram was an earthling
Vesht Zefram Terrasu
Zefram was (an) Earthling
Who built a ship of steel
torval pishek-hali.
(he) built a steel-ship
He learned the science of warp speed
Vesht fai-tor tchas-ek'tal
(He) knew warp-science
And all the Vulcans cheered
heh sanoi n'Vuhlkantra.
and (he) pleased Vulcankind.
And down to Earth went Solkar
Heh Solkar en'le na'Terra
And Solkar (went) downward to Earth
Oh he, of little taste
Wa vesht tomayet thal
(His) ethics (were) really loose
To accept a handshake
Vesht estuhl el'rular
Hands touched
Just to greet the human race
goh na'shau komihntra.
Merely to greet humanity.
CHORUS: Oh, Solkar the slut
Oh, ritevan Solkar
Oh, the indecent Solkar
The slut, the slut, the slut
guv-tvi-rivak torsu
the fornicator
Oh, Solkar the slut
Oh, ritevan Solkar
Oh, the indecent Solkar
We all do what we must
Plathau n'bolaya
Needs (are being) fulfilled
Now, no Vulcan could blame him,
Kling kupi tenah ish-veh
Nobody could blame him
For being so uncouth
Na'nash-ritevan'es
for this indecency
Though he often described it
Vesht tcok'at n'ish-torai
(He) compared this action
As pulling out a tooth
na'saseshaya n'zud
to extracting (a) tooth
He did the necessary
Vesht tor bolayanik
(He) did the necessary
But we all know the truth
Fai-tor kanok-veh yeht'es
Everybody knows the truth
We know he quite enjoyed it
Wa'tishal ish-veh
He really liked (it)
For we saw him crack a smile
Boshal sanosh limuk
Pleasure filled (his) face
While many of his crewmates
Lu wehk nensular t'ish-veh
When many of his crewmates
Would meditate a whil
Gu-vam-bosh vesht kohl-tor
dutifully meditated,
He went to Zefram’s quarters
Hafal Solkar svi'ha-shal
Solkar remained in the quarters
And was gone for many hours
t'Zefram wehk v'hral
of Zefram (for) many (Vulcan) hours.
[CHORUS]
For the bond from just one handshake
Wa'nam-tor ritsuri
It is really unusual
To last two lifetimes long
ta tel t'wuh-esta
that the bond of a single touch
Is so unprecedented
Palesh-tor dah ha-kiv-wak
lasts two lifetimes
That I put it in a song
Ni pinkal nash-uralaya
So it earned this song
Although, I must believe him
Hi vun dva-tor n'ish-veh
However, (I) must believe him
As the records plainly show
fayei gluvau vipladau
because the record(s) show
That just one simple handshake
ta goh el'ru-hutaya
that just a handshake
Is enough to marry you
hiyel tel-tor ein-veh
(is) enough to bond someone [CHORUS]
Now, Solkar’s grandson, Sarek,
I'zahal-tor Sarek
Now, Sarek follows
He followed in his stead
Li-fal t'sa-mekh-al
the example of his grandfather
As the first recorded Vulcan
wuh'rak fainu Vuhlkansu
the first known Vulcan
A human girl to wed
vi tel-tor ko-Terrasu
who bonds with a human woman
With no official handshake
Ri hutal el'rular
(They) did not shake hands
Lest our suspicions spread
ni kling dungi dva-tor
so nobody will believe
Of the rumours that a Pon Farr
N'varlar ta Pon Farr
the stories that Pon Farr
Sped the maiden to his bed
sahral ko-su na'sar-tak
sped the woman into (his) bed
Oh, Sarek, the slut, the slut, the slut, the slut
Oh, ritevan Sarek, guv-tvi-rivak torsu
Oh, the indecent Sarek, the fornicator
Oh, Sarek, the slut
Oh, ritevan Sarek,
Oh, the indecent Sarek
We all do what we must
Plathau n'bolaya
Needs (are being) fulfilled
Now on this ship,I see things
I'gla-tor n'vellar
Now I see things
Of which I cannot speak
if ri kup ashiv-tor
which I cannot repeat
For guests should never admit
be'hai'la svi'yel-hali
(I am a) guest on (this) starship
To having snuck a little peek
Ri kal-tor n'nash-veh nantau
I am not allowed to stare
A Vulcan and The Captain’s
Ta'hal kar-esta
(The) light touches (on the) arm
Knowing looks and brushing arms
T'Vuhlkansu eh Khart-lan
Of (the) Vulcan and (the) Captain
Is within regulation
k'svi pakhartayalar
(are) within regulations
But should make a Vulcan squirm
hi pahutau Vuhlkansu.
but (they) agitate (a) Vulcan.
And I reach a swift conclusion:
Pulau n'sahr-ul-wihka
I reach a quick hypothesis
This has all got out of hand
Ri kup tash-tor ring
(This) cannot be controlled at all
Thus, the legacy of Solkar:
Visak'a t'Solkar:
The legacy of Solkar:
Surely not what he had planned
Ri ki dotoran
(he) had not planned (this) Oh, Solkar the slut
Oh, ritevan Solkar
Oh, the indecent Solkar
The slut, the slut, the slut
guv-tvi-rivak torsu
the fornicator
Oh, Solkar the slut
Oh, ritevan Solkar
Oh, the indecent Solkar
His family can’t be stopped
Ri kup-pekhau n'nash-skan
This family cannot be stopped"
… This is how Sarek feels about Solkar & you cannot change my mind
