Let's Play Monkey Island - interactive theater

This was an interactive stage adaptation of Monkey Island put on by Hessisches Landstheater Marburg in March 2023. The "material folder" (informational booklet) linked near the end of the page contains a sample scene of the bit with Fester Shinetop in the alleyway, followed by asking the audience what to do next, which may give an idea how it worked. Captain Smirk, the insult sword-fighting instructor from Melee Island. Was checking their closet for swords to polish when he stumbled into it and suddenly landed on Devil's Ridge. Another idea from the Deltatraveler/SoT crossover that came to me about having Kris fight Captain Smirk in a legit Insult Sword-Fight via ACTS and such.

This Smirk isn't the remastered version from 2009 nor is he the Smirk from the Sea of Thieves crossover. I made this one to be his 1990's pixelated counterpart which helps set up one hell of a punchline at the very end of my crossover. No spoilers, though, even if I don't have the means to animate this wild idea yet.

AOS Kirk is far more likely to grin at things, while TOS Kirk instead typically beams at them. The beam-to-grin ratio only grows as he ages. TOS Kirk from the movies is the beamiest of all. Does that make sense? Am I making sense?

Rex accepts that Echo is choosing to join the Bad Batch after Skako Minor but then it turns gleeful knowing that he just unleashed one of the 4 reasons he’s going gray at 13 years old onto a group of people that were never properly terrorized.

After all the shit he went thought with that group (thinking back to him punching Crosshair in the face) he all too happy to be sending his gremlin of an arc trooper to whip them into shape.

Having been rewatching Avengers lately and I really hate the fact that Steve apologizing to Tony has been so constant that it actually became a pattern. He sends him a letter of apology at the end of Civil War, although he didn't actually do anything wrong, and in the beginning of IW Tony admits to Bruce that he still won't speak to Steve even after all these years. It's infuriating.

"I don't care, he killed my mom" - oh yeah? How many mothers and fathers have you killed? Did you forget that your missiles killed Wanda and Pietro's parents? You think that because you didn't do it in person you are excused? Winter Soldier at least had the courage to face his crimes. He remembered all his victims. You didn't even know yours. You never apologized to Wanda for what you did to her. You are responsible for deaths of both her parents and her brother, and what did you do? You imprisoned her in your home, traumatizing her even further by letting her think she is a monster to be feared. The first thing you did coming back from space in EG was yell at Steve for trying to give hope to his friends so they all won't go insane. You refused to help them in their hour of need. You took the shield from Steve, and he didn't even give you hard time for that. You basically ignored Natasha's sacrifice and death and made everything about you again. You, you, you, it was always about you, and Steve never said a word to you, never called you on your bullshit, although he should have.

You don't deserve Steve Rogers as your friend. You don't deserve Natasha, either. You never did.
