2. Project Description

The photographer I chose is named Atom Moore. Atom Moore works for many publications that feature watches, such as Hodinkee Magazine, a favorite among watch enthusiasts. His work is able to capture the spirit of each watch in a way that conveys the type of person that wore them. His work includes some antique pieces in high detail and in macro format. These photos that I took are of my Great Grandfather's pocket watch from 1928. This piece holds significant nostalgic value to me because it represents the life of the man who, despite all that he went through in the Holocaust and escaping Communist Russia, was always about his family. This set of images represent that.

3. Outcomes

This project will create 9 pictures of a timepiece that both is significant and conveys a sense of era and time.

4. Methods and Materials

This project will use a tripod and a remote shutter to obtain sharp images at slow shutter speeds.
