Currently, I’d say my biggest criticism of the Fallout show (that I hope theyll address in season 2) is the lack of focus on actual wastelanders.

You only really see things from the perspective of sheltered youngsters or the Uber-cynic ghoul. All the actual wastelanders they encounter are basically crazed killers or canon fodder.

I get that’s the point, at least for now: to show that the wasteland is harsh and our cast aren’t quite equipped to handle it. But if they want to tackle these big themes, if they want to actually explain why this world is worth saving from the vault tec baddies, or why the ghoul cowboy should value human life, I think they need to do a little more work next season on the people actually living in this world.

Show a settlement that’s gotten together. Or a family that’s nice to the cast. Or just have someone from the wastes who just waves to them and shoots the breeze. The current presentation of wastelanders makes them seem so cartoonish and inhuman, when there can be so much more nuance to how people behave in that kind of world. I just really hope they try to actually dig into that kind of humanity to wasteland life in season 2

Ramblings about hazbin s2 and leaks!!!

So. The Twist. My poor radiorose heart. I'm REALLY not believing they can execute it properly. Of course i hope they do, but if you watch the vivziepop shows you know the writing standard is nonexistent. The entire hellaverse in general has this problem, where they have some really interesting plot points, character potential, and concepts to explore, but then go and burn it all to the ground with writing so bad it's laughable. Most often this writing also ignores all the potential for the sake of drama.

With this in mind my hopes are obviously not high. The whole twist itself feels cheap, and right now it's reasonable to say it's purely for shock value. It might get better when we get more context, but like i said, i don't have high hopes that vivzie and her team are able to execute it well, considering their history.

Obviously, as a radiorose shipper i am biased, but i tried my best to think about it realistically. To me, their relationship is one of the few things that has kept me still somewhat engaged with the fandom. In the end, if the show really turns to be really shitty i'll just sraight up ignore canon and do my own thing, for the sake of my sanity lol.

Oh and also they made sir pen white. Seriously. THE CHARACTER WHO CAN VERY EASILY BE INTERPENTED AS POC

had a sudden urge to draw my girl and thought making a pc sheet for the forgotten au. very straightforward tbh, she was surviving just fine in robin's faction for a good while since the start of the apocalypse, but then she got pregnant from an assault :(( (not by any named NPCs) so now she has to worry over some little ones.

whats worse is that there had been some pregnant members in robin's faction that had been attacked lately during the night by some unnoticeable people (the cannibals have taken a liking to the taste of pregnant women). it's caused a lot of stress for her and so she decided to leave and join whitney's group just long enough to give birth to the little ones. (did not expect to fall for the asshole leader at all nope -)

her plan afterwards was initially to go back to robin's faction and raise the children there, but she wondered if this was actually the best idea. after speaking with the scouts in whitney's faction, it was actually discovered that the forest was quite in tact and seems to be untouched/unnoticed by the attacks (she has no way to verify this information), and so decided that afterwards, she'll make her way to the forest. hehe, not quite sure if she decides to go through with it or not, perhaps a bad enough fight with whitney might cause her to run off with the kids 👀
