Haylor Gift Tabloids
There are several stories about gifts I will combine here:
HARRY'S ONE G OF PRESENTS - EXCLUSIVE £1,000 on Taylor's birthday (handbag, earrings, cupcakes & perfume)
23 Cupcakes for her birthday (the Mirror)
Harry gave Taylor a vintage bracelet for christmas (The Sun)
Harry sent Taylor a singing Telegram to perform WMYB in country style (The Sun - x)
Taylor buying Beatles Memorabilia (Daily Star)
Taylor had booked a Italy getaway for Harry's Birthday (The Sun)
1989 roses (I’ll post that video soon because Harry was asked)
I can't find the guitar though and wonder if it was from the image used in that Dolly layout above... unless maybe to be so expensive signed merch is a guitar. I also can't find an article about the opal ring
1 - HARRY'S ONE G OF PRESENTS - EXCLUSIVE £1,000 on Taylor's birthday
December 15, 2012 | Sun, The/Sun on Sunday, The (London, England) CAROLINE McGUIRE | Page: 3 | Section: News
LOVESTRUCK Harry Styles has splashed out more than £1,000 on birthday presents for new girlfriend Taylor Swift. The One Direction star celebrated the country singer turning 23 by buying her a £400 Jimmy Choo handbag, antique earrings, her favourite perfume — and 23 cup cakes. The cakes cost £38 and he picked them up in person from a husband-and-wife firm in Warrington, Cheshire. The treats included cookies & cream, candy floss and mint liqueur flavours. The 18-year-old also handed Taylor a black and white picture of them together in a vintage frame. A source said: "Harry put a lot of thought into her gifts and really wanted to show her just how special she is to him. "The boys teased him about how mushy he's become but he doesn't seem to care."

Gifted couple ... Harry bought Taylor scent, cakes, a posh bag, earrings and a photo of them together
2 - 23 Cupcakes
Harry’s so sweet
Daily Mirror 15 Dec 2012
SOMEONE needs to offer Harry Styles a job on the UK tourist board as he continues wooing Taylor Swift with his “Best of British” theme.
The loved-up star, 18, celebrated girlfriend Taylor’s 23rd birthday on Thursday by giving her 23 cupcakes. PUKE. (not literally, we hope).
Hazza made the last-minute order to the Custom Cupcake Company in his home town of Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, on Wednesday night.
But it sounds like he got his mum to organise it all.
Bakery owner Matt Blakey revealed: “A lady called us asking if we could supply some cupcakes.
“I told her we were bursting at the seams.
“She said it was for Harry Styles and I said, “Oh, OK, cool. Send him along’.
“Later I got a phone call from my wife that Harry Styles was standing on the doorstep.
“I didn’t think he would come to pick them up!”
On Taylor’s special day the couple were also spotted out enjoying a romantic country walk and getting intimate during a pub lunch.
Enough now. Enough.
3 - Taylor's Stylish bracelet: VINTAGE GIFT FROM SAILOR HARRY
Smart, Gordon. The Sun; London (UK). 04 Jan 2013: 18.
HARRY STYLES is showering TAYLOR SWIFT with gifts at the right time - just as ONE DIRECTION unveil camp snaps of him in a sailor outfit.
He's handed his missus a vintage emerald bracelet to celebrate them seeing in 2013 together in The Big Apple.
Which slightly makes up for the South Pacific look he's sporting here.
The singer found the gift for Taylor at a second-hand jewellery shop near his home in Cheshire while shopping over Christmas.
At least the trip out got him out of playing those endless games of Monopoly over the festive period.
A source said: "Harry handpicked the present for Taylor while he was back home.
"He found it in a secondhand shop and she was impressed when he handed it to her.
Dodgy "He gave it to her at the plush hotel they stayed in while they were celebrating New Year in New York.
"Harry is head over heels for Taylor and even admitted he loves her while they were in the Big Apple."
Now he just needs to keep her away from YouTube over the next week.
The band have filmed a clip for new single Kiss You dressed up in the sailor clobber.
A trailer for the video was released yesterday.
One shot also shows Harry wearing a very dodgy Hawaiian shirt.
The full promo will be be out on Monday next week.
Harry's bandmate LOUIS TOMLINSON won't need to worry about any embarrassment with his better half.
He liked to stick on a blue and white striped top and boaters every day anyway ...
4 - HARRY Styles yesterday hired a cheesy singing telegram to serenade Taylor Swift — as he spent Christmas 3,500 miles away from her.
The Sun - 26 December 2012 x
The teenage One Direction star got the crooner to belt out his band’s hit What Makes You Beautiful.
He also ordered it sung in country and western style — the kind of music his American girlfriend performs.
Harry, 18, fixed up the soppy surprise in the US before he jetted back to his family in the UK on Christmas Eve.
A source said: “Even though they were apart on Christmas Day, he wanted to make sure she’d be thinking of him. The singagram was an ideal present.
“She has a great sense of humour. He knew she’d think it was hilarious.”
The lovestruck boyband singer DID get to see 23-year-old Taylor yesterday — via a Skype videocall as each opened Christmas presents in the afternoon.
The source said: “Harry and Taylor can’t get enough of each other. Any moment they can spend together, they do. But Harry is also very close to his family. He wanted to be back home with them for Christmas.”
Harry first started dating Taylor two months ago.
The pair have been snapped together in Manchester, New York, Los Angeles and the swanky US ski resort of Aspen.
5- The Daily Star: Taylor's Fab Four-tune! Picture: EROTEME
December 18, 2012 | Daily Star (England) with ED DYSON and ELLE GRIFFITHS
HARRY Styles - we've a message from Taylor Swift: She Loves You yeah, yeah, yeah...
Well, she must do, since the country queen is splashing the cash Crimbo prezzies.
We hear Taylor, 23, is on the hunt for some mega-expensive Beatles merchandise to treat hunky Hazza whom she has been dating since last month.
Our spies told us: "Harry spent GBP900 on Taylor for her recent birthday, and now she wants to repay the favour - and then some.
"She's been phoning Beatles stores in Liverpool hoping to find pieces of rare autographed memorabilia she knows Harry will love.
"A staff member at one store let slip she wanted to spend somewhere between GBP40,000 and GBP50,000."
Wow. The Fab Four may have said Can't Buy Me Love, but if you could, that sum would probably cover it. And it's no wonder the boyband heart-throb is such a fan, as the 1D craze sweeping the world drew comparisons to the Fab Four.
Harry, 18, even admitted he could see the similarities himself.
Icons He said: "We watched that film of The Beatles when they touched down in America and saw a likeness with our personalities. They loved having a laugh like us."
Luckily Mr Styles's ego isn't as big as his barnet.
He explained: "The comparisons seem ridiculous to us, because they were such icons."
Well, you might never have the influence of the Beatles, Harry, but you can at least get your mitts on plenty of their stuff.
6 - It's all gondola wrong, Harry - SPLIT AXES TAYLOR'S VENICE BIRTHDAY GIFT
January 15, 2013 | Sun, The/Sun on Sunday, The (London, England) GORDON SMART | Page: 18,19 | Section: Business
ONE of TAYLOR SWIFT's pals could be in for a free holiday in Venice. The US singer had plans for a romantic city break with ex HARRY STYLES as a treat for his 19th birthday next month. She was planning to surprise the ONE DIRECTION star with five nights at the posh Palazzina Grassi on the Grand Canal. Harry only found out about it last week - and is now feeling even worse about the whole relationship going pear-shaped. He has since organised a trip to Las Vegas with JUSTIN BIEBER - which could suggest that gondola action might not have floated his boat anyway. A source said: "Taylor organised an allexpenses-paid trip before the split. "She even arranged a private gondola for them for the entire time they would be there." Drinking limoncello in a posh hotel in Italy on your birthday would be nice. But Harry's only just become too old for Disneyland. Speaking of youthful antics, above are a few smaps from his schooldays. The lack of tattoos is the only giveaway that the pictures weren't taken yesterday. One picture that was taken recently is this shot of Taylor at the Golden Globes looking stunning in a purple fishtail gown. There was a lot being said about how busty she was looking compared to normal. Hollywood, eh? She and Harry, whose 65-day romance ended after New Year, exchanged expensive gifts at Christmas, but now they're redundant too. The source added: "Taylor isn't using the designer bag he bought her any more. She'd also sorted some exclusive birthday presents for him - new threads from Savile Row and BEATLES memorabilia. "Harry is pretty gutted about the whole thing, even though he's putting on a cool front. He's touched she went to so much trouble to arrange his birthday ahead of time." It's not total doom and gloom, though - 1D ticket sales have soared by 50 per cent since the split. Websites handling the band's 2013 tour, including Seatwave, say they noticed the sharp increase immediately after the romance ended. So Harry will rake in as much from the break-up as Taylor will from her upcoming song about the broken relationship. They need it as well.

Christmas Charcuterie Board
Why Choose a Charcuterie Board for Christmas?
Charcuterie boards are ideal for Christmas because they offer:
Versatility: They cater to diverse palates, with options for meat lovers, vegetarians, and even those with a sweet tooth.
Aesthetic Appeal: Festive garnishes and a careful arrangement can transform it into a visual masterpiece.
Ease of Preparation: No cooking required—just thoughtful assembly!
What You’ll Need for Your Christmas Charcuterie Board
1. A Base Board
Select a large wooden, marble, or slate board as the foundation. For a Christmas theme, consider circular boards resembling a wreath, or opt for festive shapes like a tree or star.
2. Meats
Include a variety of cured meats, such as:
Salami Roses: Shape thin slices into roses for added elegance.
Prosciutto: Fold them into delicate ribbons.
Pepperoni and Chorizo: Roll or stack for texture and spice.
3. Cheeses
Choose a mix of textures and flavours, including:
Soft Cheeses: Brie or Camembert (perfectly festive when topped with cranberries or pomegranate seeds).
Hard Cheeses: Cheddar, Parmesan wedges, or Gruyère.
Blue Cheese: For those who enjoy a bolder flavour.
Pre-cut some cheeses into cubes or wedges for convenience while leaving larger blocks for visual interest.
4. Crackers and Bread
Balance the textures with an assortment of crackers and breadsticks. Whole-grain crackers, rosemary-infused crispbreads, and slices of crusty baguette are great options.
5. Fruits and Nuts
Fresh Fruits: Add red and green fruits like grapes, apple slices, and kiwi for festive colours.
Dried Fruits: Apricots, figs, and cranberries pair beautifully with cheese.
Nuts: Roasted almonds, walnuts, and pistachios offer crunch and complement both sweet and savoury items.
6. Sweet Treats
Incorporate festive sweets to delight guests:
Christmas chocolates (think mini Santas or snowflakes).
Peppermint bark or candy canes for a touch of holiday magic.
Gingerbread cookies or shortbread biscuits.
7. Festive Garnishes
Decorate with rosemary sprigs to mimic pine branches, scatter pomegranate arils like red berries, and add a few edible flowers or gold-dusted elements for extra sparkle.
Tips for Arranging Your Christmas Charcuterie Board
Start with the Big Pieces: Place bowls of dips, olives, or honey first to anchor the layout.
Create Zones: Arrange meats, cheeses, and crackers in separate clusters, ensuring easy access.
Add Pops of Colour: Use fruits, sweets, and garnishes to fill gaps and add a festive palette of red, green, and gold.
Think About Height: Stack items like crackers and nuts to create depth and dimension.
Keep it Practical: Ensure there’s a variety of utensils, like cheese knives and tongs, so guests can serve themselves easily.
Personalising Your Christmas Charcuterie Board
Themed Additions: Include items like mini mince pies, Christmas pudding bites, or spiced nuts for a truly seasonal touch.
Dietary Considerations: Offer plant-based cheeses and gluten-free crackers to accommodate dietary restrictions.
Signature Touches: Create a focal point, such as a star-shaped Brie topped with cranberry sauce or a festive cheese ball shaped like a Christmas tree.
Final Thoughts
A Christmas charcuterie board is more than just a platter; it's a chance to showcase your creativity and bring people together over delicious food. With a balance of savoury and sweet elements and a sprinkle of festive charm, your board will undoubtedly be the highlight of the celebration.

warmth
warmth // 3428 words (previously on old acc chimtaehyvng)
…because the perfect solution to a cold night is a coffee and a cute barista.
pairing: jimin x reader genre: barista!jimin, coffee, fluff, so fluffy i could die fluff
based on this request from an anon:
“I keep coming back to this cafe because you make amazing coffee, and I hate coffee, but really I just come here to look at you” au with Jimin(the barista) x reader please”
It was a frigid night and you were out with your friends downtown for a kind of last hurrah before the new semester of the school year caught up with you. Now it was absolutely freezing out. Fucking freezing, if you didn’t want to sugarcoat it.
You had spent about an hour waiting outside of a bar because apparently everyone else in the city was smart enough to make plans and reservations that consisted of being inside on this cold night. You decided it was best for you to just head home, you were feeling a little sick anyway and there was no way in hell you were starting off the new semester that way.
Saying goodbye to your friends, you decided to be a kill joy and started making the trek to your building that was a couple of blocks from where you were. Bundled up in a winter parka with a huge scarf wrapped around your neck and the bottom of your face, hands in mittens tucked into your pockets, you were a walking advertisement for winter wear.
Your building just a block away, you suddenly stopped as you smelled the familiar aroma of baking cookies and coffee. The café to your left pulling your attention away from the bright lights of your apartment building ahead of you, calling you in for warmth and overpriced drinks. You had always passed the café on the way home from class, but never thought to go in since you weren’t much of a coffee-drinker.
Ah… screw it, the night’s over anyway. You thought, as you might as well dip into the café for a little while, since your night was ruined anyway.
You stepped into the café, and breathed an immediate sigh of relief as you felt the warmth rush over you from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. It wasn’t until the barista behind the counter spoke, that you realized you were still shivering.
“Hey! Welcome to Warmth & Co.! Could I get you anything? You’re kinda shivering.” The boy behind the counter spoke.
“Hmm?” You peeked at him over your scarf, and he looked back at you with an amused expression on his face. You took this time to give the boy a once over—from the fading orange colour of his hair, to the long-sleeved black shirt he was wearing with little thumb holes at the end of the sleeves, giving him cute little sweater paws. You took a glance at the red apron that had an obnoxious “MAKE COFFEE NOT WAR” written on it, to see his nametag that read Jimin with a big smiley face drawn beside it.
“Oh. Oh yeah, yes please.” You said, shaking out of your frozen stupor. Jimin looked at you expectedly, waiting for your order.
“Oh. Oh right, yes looking at your menu would help.” You said, feeling the warmth spread to your cheeks, before pulling off your hood and loosening your scarf. Jimin just chuckled.
“Tell you what, why don’t you take a seat and I’ll bring you something nice and warm, okay? Just make yourself comfortable.” He said with a laugh.
You nodded sheepishly before turning towards the little loveseat that was placed in front of the fireplace of the café.
“Wait! Could I get your name? For your order.” Jimin called after you.
You gave him your name and started the task of removing the many layers you had been wearing. You pulled out your phone that had a couple of texts from your friends saying that they were still waiting outside and were close to giving up as well. You sighed and shook your head.
Stupid, cold weather.
The placement of a cute little mug in front of you was what got your attention away from your phone, and you looked up to find Jimin’s cute little smile on his face as he sat on the stool across from you.
“Hey. So I wasn’t sure what you would like, but I made you something that I’ve always made myself in the couple of years I’ve been working here.” Jimin said with a smile, that made his eyes turn into crescents and you remember feeling something akin to your heart skipping a beat.
Oh, he is SO cute.
“Thanks, um…” You pretended to look at his nametag (even though you had already creepily checked it out before). “..Jimin.” You said, giving him a smile back.
“You’re welcome, I hope you enjoy it.” Jimin said standing up before making his way back to the counter.
“Wait! How much was it?” You called out to him.
“Don’t worry about it! It’s not on the menu anyway.” Jimin said, walking backwards toward his cash register nearly bumping into it, where another customer was waiting for their order to be taken.
You stifled a laugh and gave him a smile, mouthing a thank you to him. You looked down to the receipt beside the mug and couldn’t help but notice the “Free of charge a la Jimin!” written on it with your name on the bottom of the order, signed off with a happy face similar to the one on Jimin’s nametag.
You felt the blush creep to your cheeks and you shook your head to ignore the feeling. Breathing a sigh, you looked towards the mug on coffee table in front of you and your eyes widened.
Okay, so maybe you should have told him you didn’t like coffee, that you absolutely hated it. You hated the bitter taste, and the smell in your breath that seemed to linger a couple hours after drinking it. You crossed your fingers, and hoped Jimin made you something that was closer to hot chocolate or tea rather than the rancid coffee you detested.
Okay, coffee isn’t rancid. But it’s just so blech.
You raised the mug to your lips and inspected the whipped cream on top that was dusted in red flakes before taking a sip. You let the warmth of the drink fill your mouth and flow through your body. You were pleasantly surprised as you tasted peppermint that masked the coffee taste and smell, and something… fruity? You let your finger dip into the whipped cream and flakes, tasting something close to candied apples.
Huh. Interesting.
It wasn’t until the mug was half finished that you realized you loved it. Surprising you that you had fallen in love with a warm drink that wasn’t your usual boring hot chocolate or earl grey tea.
Jimin was in the middle of making a new drink when the other barista behind the counter Taehyung, bumped into him.
“Yah! So that’s your game, huh?” Taehyung said to him with a smirk.
“What?” Jimin said writing the customer’s name on the takeaway cup, a look of confusion on his face.
“You know, your game! So you just give pretty girls free drinks, huh?” Taehyung elbowed him, and glanced toward where you were sitting near the fireplace.
Jimin felt a blush creep onto his cheeks and said “Shut up,” as he shoved his friend away, Taehyung laughing as he went to grab a new canister of whipped cream from the fridge.
You admired the little café, liking the coziness and traditional layout, reminding you of home and comfort. You were starting to think that this could be the perfect study place you were looking for, and while looking up to steal a glance at Jimin playing around with his coworkers behind the counter, you thought that the company wouldn’t hurt to look at either.
Your phone beside you buzzed and you had a couple messages from your friends, reading that they were coming to get you and inviting themselves over to your apartment to have pizza and a movie night, finally giving up on the night out and deciding that a warm night-in was their best bet. You felt a small victory and looked up to see Jimin peering over the counter to look at you.
He quickly glanced away and shook with a laugh, shaking his head at himself. You looked down at your mug and smiled.
The remainder of time spent finishing your drink was filled with stolen glances and hidden smiles.
Yeah, I’m definitely coming back.
Your thoughts were interrupted as you felt a knock on the window beside you, to see your friends telling you to hurry up and come outside. You looked to your phone and didn’t realize that the time had gotten away from you, your texts reading for you to pick up the pace because your crazy friends wanted to catch the pizza place before it closed. You put up your finger and told them to wait as you stood up to throw your jacket and scarf back on.
“Attention customers of Warmth & Co.! We are closing in about 15 minutes!” You heard Jimin’s voice ring above you through the speakers, interrupting the soft bluesy music that was playing. “And as much as we’d love for you to stay,” Jimin continued, stealing another look at you that lasted less than a second. “Our Jungkookie here, needs to start cleaning up!” He said, slapping the back of the younger boy beside him holding a broom.
Your jacket and winter gear put on, you gave him a small wave before leaving the café, taking in the warmth from the café and the boy behind the counter’s smile before stepping out to brave the cold.
The second time you find yourself back at the café, you’re on your way home from class and after getting off the bus, you decide that maybe getting a coffee (yes, a coffee!) would help you with your readings for the night. And hey, maybe your roommate wanted one. Yeah. Yeah, maybe she did.
You took a cut to your right from your usual walk home, and found yourself nearing the small little café. You pulled out your lip balm from your pocket and applied a quick swipe to your lips because hey, it’s winter! Moisturizing is the key to success. (Okay yeah, maybe you were expecting someone to be there, but hey, better safe than sorry.)
You stepped in, the familiar ding of the door sounding.
“Hey! Welcome to Warmth—Oh hey! It’s you!” A boy that wasn’t Jimin spoke from behind the counter. You looked at his nametag that read Tae with an awfully drawn picture of Ironman beside it, and gave him a confused look.
“Oh heh, I was here that other night when Jimin gave you that drink. Let me go get him.” Tae said, smiling brightly and knowingly at you.
Before you could tell him to wait, he was already running through the back swinging doors to go find his friend.
You waited patiently behind the counter, as Jimin was suddenly pushed through the doors from the kitchen.
“Tae- what?!” He yelled behind at the boy.
You cleared your throat at the boy. “Hey Jimin.”
“Oh! Oh hey! You’re back! And you’re not frozen!” Jimin said, the familiar crescent-moon smile coming back on his face.
“Yup! I was just thinking of getting a couple of coffees for me and my roommate. We’ve got some studying to do, unfortunately.” You said, as Jimin threw on his apron.
“Yeah for sure, what can I get you?” He said.
“Why don’t you surprise me? I really liked what you had given me last time.”
“As you wish.” Jimin smiled, and immediately got to work.
You smiled watching him make the two coffees, laughing at how he danced around humming to himself. He was adorable.
He placed the two coffees in front of you, as you held out your wallet to pay.
“Oh, don’t worry about it.”
“No, Jimin. You gave me a free coffee last time. I have to pay for it this time.”
“Nope, don’t bother. They’re not on the menu! Besides, you’re a loyal customer.”
You sighed at the boy, and grabbed a couple of the club sandwiches in the fridge below the counter and placed them in front of him.
“Okay, I’ve been here twice. So no. And I’m also paying for these. And you can’t say no.”
Jimin pouted in front of you and muttered a small ‘fine’ under his breath, ringing up the sandwiches. You gave him your money and for good measure, threw a couple of dollars into the tip jar just to make your point.
Jimin rolled his eyes at you and lifted his hand to give you a small wave as you exited the café.
On your walk home, you took a sip of the coffee and (not) much to your surprise, you loved the taste again. You were starting to think that maybe he wasn’t actually giving you coffee, except for the major caffeine kick that soon followed. (Or maybe it was a Jimin high, you wouldn’t be able to tell otherwise.) You smiled, walking down the street to your apartment with your two coffees, labelled with your name and a smiley face.
You would continue coming back to Warmth & Co., becoming the loyal customer that Jimin mentioned before. And each time you would, he would be working behind the counter, giving you that cute smile and making you a concoction that wasn’t on the menu.
You fought him each time to let you pay, and each time you would lose once he would give you that cheesy grin that you were soon starting to fall for. But, of course at the end of your stays, you would always leave some cash on the table for Jimin to pick up when you would leave.
It was a fair trade-off actually, you were able to get that extra caffeine kick that you needed when studying for midterms. Though you still hated coffee, it was only Jimin’s coffee that would help in those stressful study sessions. Not to mention, the countless stolen looks you would get while studying, making up for the piles of notes to review and the cold weather outside. So really, it was perfect.
It wasn’t until you were in the middle of five midterms that you were in the most desperate need for coffee. It surprised you that it didn’t take long for you to become dependent on caffeine, it being the only thing that could help you survive your midterms.
You walked into the café after completing two of your midterms that day, with one more on the following day. You felt like you were a zombie, completely exhausted from the week that you had endured so far. In a daze, you walked up to the counter and took a seat on the bar stool.
You placed your head on the counter and you really felt like you could fall asleep right then and there. Your mind was so full of all of the information that you had just been tested on, and it was starting to fill with the stress and worry of everything else you still needed to study for your last midterm. Needless to say, the stress was making you super grouchy and cranky.
And of course, Jimin was there. He was always there.
He chuckled under his breath and made his way over to where you were sitting at the counter. He leaned his chin onto his hand and tapped you on the head.
“What.” You grunted. “Let me sleep.”
“You have one more midterm left, you can do it. What do you want? Coffee?”
“Ugh. I hate coffee.” You groaned, your head still buried into your arms on the counter.
“What?! How could you hate coffee? I can probably tell you that I’ve made you about 15 different coffees, and you loved each and every one.” Jimin said, slightly offended.
“No, I hate coffee.” You said stubbornly.
“Then why do you keep coming back for more?!” Jimin said, laughing at your ridiculousness.
“I keep coming back to this cafe because your stupid cute self keeps making me amazing coffee, and I hate coffee. So really I just come here to look at you, okay?” You said into your sleeves, eyes still closed. “I hate coffee, ugh.”
Jimin smiled at you, his heart fluttering at the revelation that just came out of your mouth. He waited a few seconds to see if you were going to lift your head up and finally look at him, but when that time didn’t come, he realized that you had taken to snoozing on the counter.
He gave you a poke on the head, confirming the state you were in. He shook his head and laughed, going to make another coffee for you.
A few minutes later, you felt a tap on your shoulder as a warm cup of coffee was pushed towards your hands. You recognized the familiar smell of the peppermint of Jimin’s drink, letting the drink warm you. But it wasn’t just the drink warming you, because when you had finally lifted your head off the counter, you found Jimin sitting directly beside you, no longer wearing his red apron but wearing his jacket and scarf.
“Hey.” He said, laughing at your scrunched up face from having snoozed off for a couple minutes.
“Hey?” You said, confused at his proximity.
“So my shift is over, and I have to head out to catch the train. But I just wanted to wish you good luck on your last midterm.” He said, reaching over to brush a strand of your hair behind your ear.
You immediately blushed, and looked away to grab your wallet out of your jacket. But Jimin stopped you.
“No, I don’t want a fight today. Just take the coffee okay?” He said, offering you a warm smile.
You could only nod, not trusting your voice. Jimin gave you one last smile and wave before heading out of the café.
Picking up the mug of coffee, you raised it to your lips, thanking your lucky stars for the caffeine as you had one more midterm to study for that night. Tasting the familiar peppermint, your attention was caught at the napkin under the mug.
On the napkin was Jimin’s familiar handwriting, and read:
One more midterm! Drink this and go study! You’ll do great.
Love, Jimin =)
PS. When your stupid cute self is done with your midterms, let’s go hang out so you don’t have to use my amazing coffee as an excuse to see my face!
You groaned as you realized what you had been saying to him before. Clearly, having too much information filling up your brain had caused your filter to stop functioning.
But you really couldn’t be too mad at yourself, could you? You smiled, the butterflies rushing to your stomach as you packed away the cute little note into your pocket. You grabbed your things, and made your way home, suddenly feeling the energy of a hundred energizer bunnies to go and study for your last midterm.
Stupid, cute smiley face.
“Babe! You’re gonna be late for class! Hurry up!” Jimin called throughout your apartment.
“Yeah! I know! Stop nagging me, you’re so annoying!” You yelled back, shoving your books into your backpack. You heard Jimin’s laugh float through your apartment. He had come to pick you up on his way to the café, so you could both walk together during your morning commute.
The sound of your steps padded down the hallway of your apartment to go meet Jimin who was already dressed and ready to go, his little sweater paws poking out of the sleeves of his jacket as he held two cups of coffee.
“Hi. Good morning.” You grumbled at him, as he leaned down to place a quick kiss to your lips.
“Hi, now c’mon! Move your butt, let’s go.” He said, elbowing you out of your apartment.
“Yeah, yeah, I know!” You said smiling, locking the door behind you.
It was a frigid morning, the kind of cold that made your breath disappear into a white cloud and made the hairs on the back of your neck stand.
But as you and Jimin bundled up and made the trek to the bus stop, together with your scarf and mittens, the coffee cup in your hand, and your other hand laced with Jimin’s, you no longer had to worry about the cold. You had your own special version of Warmth and Co., Jimin’s company being better than anyone you could have imagined.
That, and the delicious coffee you always had. Because duh, you loved coffee. And smiley faces. (And Jimin.)

Cute As Always (Part 4)
Now it’s time for a road trip...
Now before we get into all the ride shenanigans, we need to talk the car ride over
So, Mom Van
You know it B, the whole Sedan with 7 seat type deal and they all had claimed seats
It was unspoken until Patton sat in Virgil’s spot once when V wasn’t there, so now Dee printed off a map of the layout
Now imagine this
From front left to right, then down:
Dee drives, Ro is in the passenger seat, Remus behind Dee, Patton behind Roman, Virgil sits in the back left, was Logan sits the back right, far away from all the bright energy up in the front few seats
Logan claims its quieter back there, but he secretly likes humming the sometimes quiet music back there without being scrutinized
Virgil may blast his music from his headphones, but is anyone going to stop him? No
Will glares from his smart younger brother do much? No
And that was clearly the one time he flipped Logan off
Instead of telling like Patton might of, Logan gave a nod of touche, making sure Remus hadn’t seen
The little gremlin had a history of following after everyone
Like when he said the f-word that one time when Roman was at an audition
They all mutually made a backup story for if he said it in front of Roman, getting their stories together
Patton caves after Roman bribes him with a cookie, all it prompted was a “just watch what you say around your brother” talk
I’m getting off-topic, back to the car ride
Virgil is blasting his music through headphones
Logan found a crossword puzzle, having already knocked out 10 by this time
Patton had his tablet down to 28% playing candy crush
Remus still somehow found entertainment in the neon pink fidget spinner Patton gave him for his fourth birthday
Roman was passed out, and when I say out, I mean, like, you couldn’t wake him up with a thunderstorm
Dee was just all together content, watching all his boys in their own element
And if you’ve read Paper Towns or seen the movie by John Green, and have seen the 2 minute stop at the gas station, this is exactly how they do this
Dee gets gas
Virgil is on snacks
Roman on drinks
Patton just has to always use the bathroom
Logan’s just passed out in the car still
Remus just chills, as long as he gets his promised apple juice from Papa, he’s fine
And you better believe it is mass chaos when they all get back to the car, snacks flying, Virgil saying a few choice words when he tripped over a book
Logan wakes up and he is Not Content, but at least he gets his peach flavored water
Then when they get to the theme park, everyone but Roman, Patton, and Virgil are awake
Which made for a very quiet ride, and signing into the hotel for sure
They got a Bunk Bed Room with two sets of them
Even Lo was excited, don’t @ me
Lo got the bottom bunk and Patton got the top
On the other one, Virgil volunteered to sleep with baby Remus so he could stay warm throughout the night, which I mean
Roman just thought that was the sweetest thing ever
And Dee and he took the last bed
When they wake up the next day, it is all energy and regenerated sources of hunger
The hunger for adventure and those little cream pastries on the buffet
Patton dawned his cat ears and a rainbow shirt, ready to show the world that he was and is brave enough to ride That roller coaster
And by That roller coaster, I mean
The loopy loop one
It is big scary
Logan did it without so much as an inch of fear on his face, he almost took his book with him had Dee not noticed
Roman just thinks it's a lovely idea to take them all on the avatar boat, save for Virgil who was Terrified so he stayed with Remus the entrance, which he did not mind seeing his dads scream in terror
Neither did Remus, he was looking at them and laughing the entire time
Once they got off, it was officially time to get lunch, which went just as planned
Pat was too focused to even eat
He wanted to ride the loopy loop one if it was the last thing he ever did
I don’t blame him, I wish confidence was that easy
Needless to say, Logan went with him a second time, holding his twin brother’s hand the whole time as Patton was screaming
They barely made the height requirement
That’s Part 4 folks!

Coffee mugs, teacups, or water bottles? I’m not crazy about liquid-holding stuff, but I’d go with water bottles if I had to pick. Bubblegum or cotton candy? As in, those two as flavors? Bubblegum. How did your elementary school teachers describe you? I wouldn’t know but I wouldn’t be surprised if they found me unremarkable. I never recited, got average grades at the first half of grade school, and never really made an effort for the teachers to recognize me. I didn’t start taking stuff seriously till the second half of elementary. Do you prefer to drink soda from cans, bottles or cups? I prefer to pass on the soda. Earbuds or headphones? Earphones.
Movies or TV? Movie, definitely. Favorite smell in the summer? THE BEACH!!!!!!!!! And seafood being grilled at beachside, yummmmm. Game you were best at in P.E./gym? Table tennis. What do you have for breakfast on an average day? On an average day, I skip breakfast. But when my dad is home, he always makes me eat something, and usually that’s fried eggs and hotdogs with white bread. Sometimes he’ll fry rice and pair it with leftovers from last night. Name of your favorite playlist? Right now, it’s a playlist I titled ‘things I wish I said’ and it’s dedicated to Nacho. Lanyard or key ring? My key ring is attached to my lanyard, so that I never forget both my ID and my keys when leaving for school. Favorite non-chocolate candy? Fruitella. Or anything that’s chewy and fruit-flavored (which is still weird to me, considering I hate fruits). Favorite book you had to read for school? Dekada ‘70 and Without Seeing the Dawn. Most comfortable position to sit in? Improperly.
Most frequently worn pair of shoes? I think it’s my pair of Onitsuka Tiger sneakers, but not sure. I don’t keep count. Ideal weather? This question is on like 1 out of 5 surveys, ugh. I like bleak and cold weather. Pencils or pens? Pens. Obsession from childhood? The TV shows Hi-5 and Spongebob. And pogs. Favorite crystal? I don’t think I have any. Favorite activity to do in warm weather? Sulk and complain. Unless I’m at the beach. Favorite activity to do in cold weather? Sleeeeeeeeeeep in, take surveys, and stay in bed wrapped in a blanket. Five songs to describe you? I’m not feeling like anything right now, so I don’t think any of them would be able to describe me. Best way for someone to bond with you? Have samgyupsal with me :) Top 5 favorite Vines? “Come to Del Taco! They have fre...free sh...FREE SHAVACADO” “There’s only one things worse than a rapist – boom” “A child!” “No–” “T-T-T-T-T-T-T-TARGET” “Has anyone ever told you you look like Beyonce?” “...No they usually tell me I look like Shalisa” “Who the fuck is that?” “ME” “Ahhhh, stop, I coulda dropped my croissant” Ads you have stuck in your head? None of them because fuck them all. Average time you fall asleep? 10-11 PM. Sometimes a little later than 11. What is the first meme you remember seeing? Oh man I hopped on that train pretty early. I reached the very first batch of meme comics that came from 9GAG, e.g. the Y U NO guy, the FFFFFFUUUUU– guy, Forever Alone, Bad Luck Brian, the original trollface etc. Suitcase, duffel bag, or backpack? Backpack. I don’t use the other two. Lemonade or tea? Lemonade. Last person you texted? Gabie, I think. I didn’t talk to anybody all day because depression hit bad today, so I can’t remember all that well. Jacket pockets or pants pockets? Jackets, they’re usually more spacious. Favorite type of jacket? Windbreakers or hoodies. Favorite scent for soap? I don’t have a preference, soap should just smell nice for me lmao. Sci-fi, fantasy, or superheroes? Honestly, none of these but if I had to go with one, I’d pick sci-fi. What clothes do you sleep in? Thin and short ones, because I like feeling more cold than warm. Favorite type of cheese? FETA!!!!!!!!!!! What saying or quote do you live by? I don’t like relying on quotes. What are you currently stressed about? Right now, nothing. I’m just feeling down in general. Favorite font? I use Proxima Nova for all my reviewers and school notes, because to me it looks pleasant. It’s actually the default font that my org uses to maintain our branding, and since I’ve worked on a lot of documents for the org, the habit of using Proxima just carried over to my irl files and I ended up liking it. What did you learn from your first job? Proofread every single goddamn thing you write 10, 15 times. From internship. I thought I was decent until my emails were bombarded with copy edits. Favorite fairy tale? None. Favorite tradition? Like, in general? My elementary/high school has a tradition of extending recess break and giving away either free ice cream or slices of our homemade tarts for the feast day of the Assumption of Mary. It’s always one of the most exciting times of the school year. Talent you're proud of having? Reading people. It’s more of a skill than talent, but still. If you were a video game character, what would your catchphrase be? I hate questions like this that force me to be creative, so I’ll pass. If you were an anime character, what genre of anime would it be? No thanks. Character you relate to? Monica Geller. Favorite website from your childhood? Y8, probably. And YouTube. Any scars? [trigger warning: self harm] One on my eyebrow, another on one of my toes, and I still have my scars from when I cut myself a few weeks back. Favorite flower? I like any except anthurium. Any good luck charms? Not really. Least favorite flavor of food or drink? Rootbeer/cola and buko. Left or right handed? Right. Least favorite pattern? I dunno if I have a least favorite one... I don’t really pay attention. Worst subject in school? Like, my least favorite among the ones I’m currently taking? Probably layout class. Favorite weird flavor combo? This isn’t a flavor but I’m willing to have mayo with a bunch of other food. When did you lose your first tooth? I was either in Kinder 2 or in Prep, so I was 5-6. Favorite potato food? French fries. Gas station coffee or grocery store sushi? I’ll take the sushi. The gas stations here look so filthy. Earth tones or jewel tones? Earth tones. Do you call them fireflies or lightning bugs? Fireflies. PC or console gaming? Consoles. I’ve never played on PC before. Writing or drawing? Writing. Podcasts or talk radio? Barbie or Polly Pocket? Fairy tales or mythology? I hate both. Cookies or cupcakes? Your greatest fear? Being humiliated in front of a crowd and losing my loved ones are two big ones. Your greatest wish? To have a lot of money later on in life haha. Who would you put before everyone else? G. Lamps, overhead lights, fairy lights, or sunlight? Overhead. Nicknames? Robyn, Byn, Reben, Rolayn. Favorite season? The season where it rains all day and it generally gets slightly colder. We don’t really have a name for it other than the wet season. Favorite app on your phone? Twitter. What is your desktop background? It’s one of the default Apple backgrounds but I picked the landscape that has a pinkish hue. How many phone numbers do you have memorized? Four. Favorite historical era? I like all of them but in terms of social history, probably the Victorian era and the 1900s-1950s. There are some very interesting anecdotes about the way they used to live in terms of cuisine, sanitation, education, etc.

dreaming a festive little dream
summary: You always look back on the bad times when you're standing in front of everything you've always wanted. Perhaps Santa brought him that astronomy book he wanted as a kid, or maybe his gift already arrived and he'll be reminded of how lucky he truly is.
content: dadchesters, parent!wincest, family bonding, only fluff/a bit of saddening nostalgia I guess, kiddos causing trouble, domestic bants
read on Ao3
Sam would be lying if he said he'd always adored Christmas.
For the longest time, it was the complete opposite. He abhorred the holiday and those stupid ornaments, tacky trees, and annoying carolers that would come to the motel door every year without fail, even though they never spent any two Christmases in the same place. Class parties were upsetting and made seven-year-old Sam run to the bathroom with tears rolling down his pudgy little cheeks at the sight of all the parents surprising their children at school. The teachers would forget about him and continue pouring green and red Kool Aid into cheap Dixie cups while he plucked at the strings of his short-sleeve, too-thin-for-winter shirt in a dingy restroom to make the tears stop. In fact, the only reason he'd return to class at all is because those candy apples, mince pies, and dollar store chocolates would make up the only meal he'd had in two days. Dean would try to feed him at the room after school but he'd say that he had lunch there so his older brother would feed himself at last in lieu of sacrificing yet another meal for his chubby little sibling.
Sam would ignore the rumbling in his stomach when he woke up on Christmas Day to find stolen presents under the dining table and an air freshener tree taped to the side before rushing to hug and kiss Dean's eleven-year-old cheeks and watching as he tried to hide his frost-nipped fingers from view, which happened without a doubt the night prior when he stole gifts from the neighbors. He wasn't as oblivious as Dean had hoped, after all.
John would call them for four and a half minutes tops and tell them to clean the guns and pack their things to leave in a few hours when he'd return, but not after a trip to a dive bar decked out with tinsel and Nat King Cole playing on the radio, which would be the only thing to remind him that he missed another Christmas with his sons—not that he cared. The blood of some ghoul or monster would stain his hands when he handed over a twenty dollar bill to pay off his tab, which is twice as much money that he gave to his boys for a few days. He beat the monster and to him, that's all that mattered.
Twenty-eight-year-old Sam Winchester wakes up with a start from his nightmare and shudders at the lingering feeling of cold numbness in his nose from the blizzard his mind had flung him into for the night. He sits up and expects the familiar chilly air and lack of insulation in another podunk motel room and to feel the abrasiveness of scratchy ninety-nine cent sheets on a Dateline oh-god-I-hope-that's-paint mattress, but finds nothing of the sort. Thirty dollar flannel sheets layer over him and shield him from the thermostat-regulated seventy-six degree room, which is painted a nice grey instead of the peeling wallpaper he saw in his dream.
The clock on his bedside table reads just before ten o'clock, a time which is verified by the gentle sweeping of sunshine bleeding into the room through the curtains. The room is splashed a golden yellow by the rays of light and this bright intrusion prompts him to stand up onto his feet and begin walking through his house. His dream created a film inside his mind and he feels foreign in this beautiful home—no empty beer bottles or pizza boxes, no flickering lights or broken taps, no neighbors going at it like animals in heat or pipes squeaking under the pressure of water coursing through their copper interiors. The chair rail is painted white and matches the molding strips; there are pictures framed on the walls of children—their children—taken professionally for birthdays and Christmases and anniversaries; and there’s a clanging sound coming from what’s presumably the kitchen given the open layout, followed by a gruff voice laughing and shushing the source of the sound.
Sam looks down at what he’s wearing and it all starts coming back to him: his red and white striped pyjamas were pointed out to him as a joke by Dean in a Pottery Barn catalogue but were bought anyway, the smell of pine needles and spice are coming from the tree in the corner of the living room, and the noises are indeed resonating from the kitchen. Something is dropped onto the floor with a bang which makes him jump, and he concludes that it’s not just him who’s startled by the sound of the shrill screech and gruff ejaculation that follows.
“Son of a—a gun!” Dean places a hand on his chest and catches his breath after the scare. He then looks at his and Sam’s children with an incredulous glare. “Which of you little monsters just took twenty years off my life?”
Sam leans against the entryway wall and watches as their oldest, Caden, smiles with maniacal eyes and raises his hand, making his Dad roll his eyes.
“Of course!” He swings the four-year-old into his arms as they both laugh, Caden letting out helpless giggles as Dean tickles him. “You are a little rascal.”
His eyes then shift to his and Dean’s youngest child, Paisley, who shrieks and claps her hands when she sees him, climbing out of her chair and waddling with bowed little legs over to him. She calls for “Daddy” and he meets her in the middle of the room where he scoops her up in his arms and sees her bright green eyes light up with glee when he pokes her chubby middle. Paisley’s tiny hands grasp at Sam’s hair which prompts him to push it back behind his ears and kiss his daughter’s tiny freckled nose. Whenever he has the chance to get a good look at Caden’s and Paisley’s features, it hits him for the umpteenth time how much they resemble their fathers.
Dean frowns when he sees his husband with their daughter, but not for the reason one may think. Caden pats his Dad’s cheeks with hands coated in powdered sugar and hoists himself onto his back to piggyback ride him and he pouts.
“You’re supposed to be asleep, Sasquatch.”
Sam hums when Paisley starts to bite at her little chewy bracelet they have her wear for oral stimulation, per suggestion of her pediatrician. “You guys aren’t exactly quiet, are you?”
Caden shakes his head and lets wavy hazelnut hair fall into his eyes. “Dada’s letting us cook.”
“We decided to make you breakfast before opening what Santa brought last night,” Dean explains and rubs his neck when their son drops down off his back.
He claims it’s because he has “cervical spine issues” that just decided to surface at age thirty-two but he gets just as flustered and nervous around Sam as he did as a teen and as a young adult when they first started “dating.” Admitting that to his husband, however, would be like admitting to murder—murder of his masculinity, that is, which is already fragile since the season of PETA adverts began. Sam still curls the longer pieces of his hair around his fingers whenever he finds himself more vulnerable than usual to Dean’s cuteness and susceptible to seduction after the kids are in bed. Nothing’s changed since their first date—with the exception of a house, marriage certificate, and two kids, of course.
“Aw,” Sam puts Paisley down on the floor and she runs as fast as her stubby, bowed legs will carry her to whatever her brother is doing in front of the TV. “I am loved after all.”
Dean lets out a huff and snakes his arms around his husband’s waist. “We have suspiciously fluffy pancakes, some extra crispy toast, scrambled eggs with a bit too much milk, and some actually decent hot cocoa.”
“I’ll take whatever’s edible, “ he knocks their foreheads together, “if you give me a kiss.”
“Ugh, I guess I can comply,” Dean rolls his eyes and leans in to kiss the love of his life, sleepy eyes fluttering shut in the safety of each other’s arms and in the security of the life they’ve built together.
Sam pulls back with some blue frosting on his nose and gives his brother a questioning eyebrow raise. He exhales with a soft laugh in reply. “We also baked cookies. Blue trees and green snowflakes like Pais wanted.”
“You’re such a great dad, De,” he rubs the other man’s shoulders with a grin. “I love you.”
“I know. You got lucky, Sammy,” Dean kisses him again. When they part, he whispers against his lips and runs his pointer finger over his chin. “Now the kids might actually kill us if we don’t let them open their presents, so can you go distract them while I get breakfast ready?”
Sam can’t help but laugh at his comment yet nods nonetheless. “I’ll keep you safe from our four and one year old children, I promise.”
“You’d better!” He calls over his shoulder as he walks back into the kitchen to clean up the mess and plate the viable food. “Merry Christmas, baby.”
“Yeah, Merry Christmas, Jerk,” Sam shouts, walking to the family room to watch the Scooby Doo Christmas special with a kid under each arm, all four of them wearing those hideous matching pyjamas.
After all, he’s got the best gift ever already. That said, he still wants those matching flasks they saw at the store to take to the more boring little league games. Oh shit, he’s not supposed to mention that.
Merry Christmas from the Winchester family—the most dysfunctional clan on earth.
