If you are on the East Coast and trying to figure out what all of these air quality warnings mean and what you should do, here is what the colors and corresponding AQI numbers mean. The updated AirNow map is at this link:

Here's a cute, unique little home in Westfield, Nova Scotia that is an architecturally designed lighthouse. It currently has no bedrooms, kitchen, etc., b/c the owner gutted it, started to remodel it, stopped, and decided to sell it instead. He will provide the new owner with the architectural plans. So, it's a fixer upper, but it's only C$130k and it's on Tupper Lake, known for fishing, boating, and swimming.
Tumblr media
It has 3 floors including the cute little room at the top. Plus, there are 2 decks surrounding the house.
Tumblr media
The owner started the 2nd floor, so it's all new.
Tumblr media
There're the sliders to the deck.
Tumblr media
He stripped the ground floor to the studs and I guess he started the 2nd fl. first, b/c he's using the 1st fl. as a workshop.
Tumblr media
And, this is the little room at the top. It's too cute.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
View of the lake from the deck.
Tumblr media
The stairs and doors to the upper floors are outside. I wonder if you could fit a spiral staircase inside, or if it's too small.
Tumblr media
Such a pretty setting and according to the ad, it's a very nice town and only 13 min. to stores, restaurants, etc.
Tumblr media
The lot is 1.46 acres.
Tumblr media
The electric is in.
Tumblr media
There's a small patio.
Tumblr media
This house is on Lot #3.

Council for the Town of Lunenburg has decided to move forward with the renaming of "Cornwallis Street" to "Queen Street" more than a year and a half after the town approved recommendations from its anti-racism special committee. This comes several months after a councillor was removed as deputy mayor after he was critical of the decision to go with Queen Street. A motion to rescind the name change to Queen was put before council by Coun. Ed Halverson — the same councillor who was removed from deputy mayor duties — on Tuesday and resulted in a tied 3-3 vote, leaving the motion dead on the floor. The street was originally named after Edward Cornwallis, who the town described as a "controversial former governor of Nova Scotia" who "issued a 'scalping proclamation' bounty in 1749 to anyone who killed Mi'kmaw men, women, and children."

woaa could i order some uhhhh russia, turkey, america, and england with a gn!reader who's a lightweight w alcohol and gets real sappy, more affectionate n touchy ykwim? thank youuu :3
ofc !! 🍻 as someone who has a very low alcohol tolerance, this will be a breeze for me to write lmao. thanks for the req!!
request | russia , turkey , america & england x lightweight! reader
type | head canon format , cute , mentions of drinking alcohol , gender neutral reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
russia/ivan braginsky ♡
he's always amused when he is accompanied by someone who gets tipsy after one drink, and drunk after two
he couldn't imagine what it's like to be like that
he isn't one to judge, but he likes to observe
if they ever need someone to hold their cup for any reason, russia would be the first to volunteer
they'll give him a big hug to thank him for being such a gentleman, leaving him wondering if their affections mean anything more than just them being extra friendly due to the alcohol 💭
turkey/sadık adnan ♡
i feel like turkey is a happy drunk, after he's had so many drinks he'll find everything funny
he is the extrovert you would want to bring to a party, club or bar
he is extremely affectionate to them back, pulling them into his arms for a tight hug
he'll begin to praise them and say things such as "i'm glad you're here!!!"
america/alfred f. jones ♡
much like turkey, america finds himself laughing a lot after he's had a few drinks
their ability to get intoxicated after only 2-3 drinks makes him feel better about himself seeing as he usually has the lowest alcohol tolerance in whatever group he's with
he'll poke fun at them as they lean unto him, feeling their own body become more feverish little by little.
"dude, you're like so drunk and we just started drinking!" he pats their head, completely charmed by them
england/arthur kirkland ♡
takes him a BIT to get to complete drunkenness
so, in the meantime he takes care of them
ie: making sure they don't trip, holding their drink if they need him to do so, maybe ordering them a water instead of another pint lol
but as soon as he starts getting drunk...
he starts to become just as sappy as they are
he throws compliments like he never has before, not hesitating to touch them back
help??? why did that sound so 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂

Two Mi'kmaw fishermen who were dropped off in the middle of nowhere in rural Nova Scotia in their sock feet on a cold and rainy March night, their cellphones seized by federal fisheries officers, hope an external investigation will shed some light on the actions of the officers that night. "Even though I went out and did what I did, still at the end of the day, it's wrong what happened to me," said Blaise Sylliboy of the Eskasoni First Nation in Cape Breton, one of the men detained for fishing for elvers at night along a river in Shelburne County early last spring.  Federal Fisheries Minister Diane Lebouthillier announced in a news release Monday morning that an external review process will examine the incident on March 26, 2024, as well as department policies, enforcement practices, and "procedures to eradicate the potential for systemic biases or racism."
