They are the basis of what all friendships should be, they are the fucking blueprint, they show how meaningful profound affection in different forms other than romantic is, they are best friends, they are siblings, they are the platonic ideal of platonic ideals, they are soulmates, they have matching earrings, they are both massive nerds, they gift handmade jewellery to each other, they are the exact opposites, they are so similar, they are sunshine and shadow, they are nature and science, they are all the elements of the universe working together, they are creators, they are leaders afraid of their destinies, they care incredibly deeply about everybody around them, they are fuckups, they try to learn and grow, they argue, they fight, they hug and make up and never hold it against one another, they joke and drink and are always there for each other, they have died and been revived and brought each other back from the brink, they have met the gods themselves and still know that the connection between each other is worth more than divinity itself will ever be, they have fought monsters and titans and their greatest fears together and have come out the other side broken and battered but stronger for it, they are brother and sister, they are siblings-in-law, they are the epitome of chosen family on all possible levels, they will live through their lifetimes and legacies, they are love itself.

one thing about me is I will almost never like a ship where the two people are Normal about each other. they have to be so intense about each other to the point where I can't even see them being together in a cute domestic way because all I can view them as is two beings who need each other so badly it is quite literally impossible for them to stay away from each other. it's written into the narrative in every universe that they will love one another so much it will destroy them. they need eachother in their lives so badly it drives them mad. kissing is overrated I want you two to toe the line of what is morally acceptable in the pursuit of trying to consume each other whole.

i don't... hate the idea? i never said that, what?? the possibility of Rui being in the Mizuki5 event just hasn't even crossed my mind because it's Mizuki's coming out and Ena's reaction to it that i've been invested in?? eh

I think about The Seige of AR-558 all the time. It's probably one of my absolute favourite ds9 episodes (along with In Purgatory's Shadow and By Inferno's Light which can not be topped) that one part where Julian is treating the wounds of one of the star fleet officers who've been essentially abandoned in this war zone and the officer is clearly so deeply traumatised by his experiences there is one of the most poignant moments in the entire show to me. The dialogue is so good and it really reminds you that this is an actual war theyre having, not just some flashy space battle where the good guys win and then everything is fine- it's had lasting impacts on these people who star fleet is meant to protect but really they send out a group of officers to a planet and then leave them there for months longer than they were supposed to be and so utterly do not care about these people because they see them as disposable. Even after Sisko and the ds9 crew realised how awful the conditions were everyone was expected to stay there - a position too important to the federation for them to let these people go home but not important enough for them to send backup or replacement officers (I though Quarks presence in the episode was really good as well for providing a perspective of someone not in StarFleet and a lot of the things he said about human nature and the actions of the federation really reflected how I was feeling about it as well haha)

Also the music was really good

He does have a human form and a more dragony form but this already took 3 1/2 hours in this unpolished state. I can't do more I'm sorry.

His 'fully human' form looks like a weird furless sheep hybrid (which is what most people assume him to be first impressions wise)

I just. This guy has been living in caves since season five and collecting hoards of various kinds (especially season 9), creating and voicing scenarios in which he gets close to hermits in all kinds of ways (like they are also, somewhat, his hoard to keep)
