And they all blamed me, courtesy of the rumor-mongering Trudi Veals.

Dispatch one employee to preserve stability, assuage a resident offended is necessary business to corporate execs, and if they happen to stop the personally motivated machinations of an employee like Trudi Veals, which they had no idea existed, then all the better. Whether it was rabidly disputed, although well-known among her confidants and helpers, they knew she was lying because they’d blown it and given her free reign.

For Trudi, just groom another assistant in the final intimidation -- the same spoiled dinner which put her appetite down -- only whetted it now.

Commission, as agent of Hotel, someone with no authority, who could then be explained away as acting autonomously in whatever foolish, non-procedural lunacies he decided of his own to commit, as what occurred with the janitor, whom she picked as her favorite, one day after Christmas Holiday Weekend, standing in my hall among his posse commitatus, all in the presence of a silently nodding BRPD, as if to say to any question I definitely had about the absurdity of this shitshow of authority, “... n da tom perrod'f tree our firm nah (read in Jamaican patois) ...” officer nodding, there wouldn't be an answer. Just a command by the janitor to vacate, as a paid in full, with no court writ or order or notice to leave, to pack and be gone in three hours during the height of COVID-19 lockdown and Presidential Eviction Moratorium, December 27, 2020 -- 10 months since I had, a tenant in good standing occupied legally the dwelling at Richmond Inn & Suites, Baton Rouge, La.

My personal top games of all time

Honestly this is just gonna be me talking about games and why I like them. There’s no particular order.

Minecraft by Mojang - This was the first video game I ever knew about. Not the first I played (if we count stuff on wii, but do we count that?), but I certainly knew about it before other things. Beyond that, it was also the first game I ever played seriously. I’ve spent hours upon hours in this game on servers with friends, alone just building stuff, and this game is probably a big part of the reason that I have any creativity at all. Even if I could know how many hours I’ve played this game, I wouldn’t want to. Gotta be in the multiple thousands, now, if not tens.

Heartbound by Pirate Software - This game is a... unique experience. A lot of folks would probably say that this is some sort of “undertale clone” or “new undertale” but honestly? They’re only similar in speaking terms, and this game is in early access and it does the whole “All of your choices matter” thing better than Undertale ever did, but here’s the neat part: it never announces it. Nothing is going to tell you that you can not put on your sweatshirt and/or not take the axe at the start of the game and make all fights harder. Nothing tells you that having the jacket vs not having it will give you different dialogue for characters. Nothing tells you about the achievements in the game; they’re all secrets, and some are incredibly well-hidden to the point where I (not being a super completionist) would never have had a chance to find them if I didn’t regularly attend the development streams. Oh yeah, by the way, they stream development on the game on weekdays & play video games on weekends at twitch.tv/gopiratesoftware. And, lastly, the music for this game fucking SLAPS.

Undertale by Toby Fox - Okay we all get the deal, it’s a good game, choices and lore and story and stuff, I’m gonna move on bc nobody wants to hear that and I don’t wanna have to write it again.

Team Fortress 2 by Valve - The first FPS I ever played! I have 894 hours on this game oh god when did that happen. But yeah this game invented a whole genre that nobody even tried to replicate until 2016. The music is great, it’s a weird game, and if you don’t take it too seriously, it’s fun.

The Stanley Parable by Galactic Cafe - This game is so much more than it lets on. It’s an insane, surreal, bizarre, comedic game about a dude who walks out of his office. Similar to Heartbound, there are innumerable choices to make, and the developers seem to have thought of more than everything a player could want to do. It’s also got some very meta storytelling, and it’s the game that first got me into that sort of thing.

OneShot by Future Cat LLC - Honestly, it’s just an interesting story. I’m not really sure what makes this one so fun, but I think it might be stuff like the characters being kind and adorable, the oddness and diversity of the adventure, the general setup and intro for the story and the absolute insanity of everything that happens during the Solstice playthrough.

Hollow Knight by Team Cherry - 100% the game that made me enjoy the difficulty of games. It’s a very, very long adventure packed to the brim with lore and hidden storytelling (which I love), and the gameplay is remarkably tight and engaging. The customization via the charm system is also incredibly and allows for an insane number of gameplay styles.

Hyper Light Drifter by Heart Machine - This game is just so damn wild to me. It’s not the craziest or most visually stunning or most difficult game in existence, but it’s got a charmingly simple art style, a metric ton of stuff to do, and engaging gameplay. The story, as well, is great, especially if you can figure out what’s actually going on in its entirety due to all the enigma surround the events. If you can’t, then the end is still an incredible experience. Panacea by Disasterpeace (a song from the ost) is absolute perfection.

Portal 2 by Valve - This game got me thinking with Portals.

Pathologic 2 by Ice-Pick Lodge & tinyBuild - Not gonna lie, I can’t finish this game. I know I just threw out all of my credentials there, but this game is just brutally punishing before you know what you’re doing, and I never knew what I was doing. However, it’s very atmospheric, and the story is rather engaging. I couldn’t get past Day 3, but I was super damn interested by then.

Destiny 2 by Bungie - I have more than 1k hours on this game if we include the time it was on Battle.net. The gunplay in the game, the moment-to-moment, is so god damn good. Every gun is satisfying, and it’s just a good experience there. The visuals are certainly beautiful at times, and the lore goes so many miles deep. So many. I find the grinding in this game to be acceptable to great, depending on the circumstance, so it’s a pretty neat experience. A decent chunk of the game is free to play, too, if you’re uncertain.

Ori and the Blind Forest by Moon Studios - First and foremost, this game is beautiful. Every single god damn frame is a piece of art unto itself, and putting them together makes an unimaginably magnificent experience as you jump, bash, and glide your way through Nibel. Unrelated thing, but Ori is so damn adorable. I love the little glowy baby. But the platforming is sublime, as well, and the combat isn’t terrible. The story, though... oh, the story. The characters aren’t that deep, and the narrative isn’t complex, but damn does it make you feel things. It is in no capacity weak in any area, especially not the visuals and music.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps by Moon Studios - Fun fact before we begin: this game came out on my birthday! Anyways, moving on, take everything that Ori and the Blind Forest was, and just make it better. That’s this game. The story packs even more of a punch. The visuals are even more incredible (assuming your computer/xbox can handle them). The music is even more beautiful. The platforming is even more engaging and enjoyable. And the combat is a drastic improvement over the previous game’s already acceptable stuff. This game... its story... again, not some deep, philosophical narrative, but that mother fucking story... I am not joking when I said I cried for a week about this game. It is a transcendent experience, and quite probably my favorite game of all time. I can’t imagine something better.

“Goodness... where do I even begin with those?”

A mildly apprehensive Kōtarō couldn’t help but crane his head back a little, chin resting between thumb and curled index after he set down his cup of hot ginger tea. Eyes closed for a few moments so he could concentrate on his answer in relative silence… and with the additional comfort of guaranteed anonymity from the man with the bucket hat sitting across the low table, he was free to speak his mind without judgement or persecution.

When one of his men brought up the topic of Aizen a few days ago, his answer came with a straightforward explanation of his own distaste toward the turncoat with godly ambitions, a common opinion shared among many shinigami within the Gotei 13.

But the Espada and the Quincy, on the other hand… Just sharing his honest opinions on either group would take some time for him to elaborate freely, but both at once? That would take the 13th’s lieutenant a hot minute and a half to properly compile his thoughts.

Then again, there’s some benefit to speaking off the cuff—no second-guessing, just throwing out the first things that come to mind. Ten years still gave him plenty of time to think, even between restoration efforts within the Seireitei, and boy does he have a lot on his mind on these.

Might as well begin with the easy one?

“I guess I’ll start with the Espada. A group of already ultra-powerful Menos-class hollows whose transitions into Arrancar were heightened by the Hōgyoku… and were recruited or coerced into working under Aizen,” Kōta began. “As things currently stand now, I don’t have any particularly strong feelings on the Espada… I’ve said it once before already, but I really don’t think Arrancar are inherently evil. Heck, I’d even go so far as to say that even Hollows aren’t inherently evil, though they are definitely more frenzied by nature in order to feed—only ones who were truly evil as humans get sent to Hell upon death anyway. There’s good and bad among the Arrancar, just the same as us Shinigami, and I would be doing their reclaimed humanity a disservice if I still thought them no different from beasts. They’re people, and like people, all that matters is the kind of person each individual Arrancar chooses to be.”

With that train of thought, Kōtarō blinked to himself once he realized he had gone off on a tangent, then shook his head and downed some warm tea to renew his focus. With a satisfied hum, he resumed his discussion on the main topic of his monologue: the actual Espada, and not waxing philosophical on Arrancar wholesale.

"Anyway, I’m getting off-track, but my point is that I’m not going to condemn the surviving Espada for their past affiliations; once that war was over, the feeling I got was that they wanted to move on from Aizen just as much as we did. After the ex-Captain got them involved in his affairs, only to send them off to die by the hands of other Soul Reapers, they deserve at least that much from us. I won’t pretend I know the new Queen Tier Harribel personally, but she does have the A-OK from a friend (Nelliel) of a friend (Ichigo) of a friend (Captain Rukia) of mine. Overall impression is that she’s leaps and bounds ahead morally over the likes of Barragan Louisenbarn and Aizen himself, so that should count for something, right? My hope is that we can establish some kind of amicable relationship with her new order she’s trying to raise, although I’d imagine she would rather have us leave well enough alone—just so long as we’re not hostile toward one another…”

A wistful sigh followed as the Lieutenant’s thoughts drifted on wishful thinking. It would be nice if the Gotei 13 and the new Queen could found a diplomatic partnership of some kind, wouldn’t it? He personally felt an amicable alliance would only help to better strengthen each side, but even the new kingdom born within the realm of Hollows have little to no reason to trust the Seireitei as is. Then there’s the matter of Central 46, the governing body of the Soul Society, who’d surely have thoughts of their own on such an alliance, and none of them positive. What a shame.

Arms folded unto themselves for comfort as the lieutenant leaned back against the zaisu. His gaze stared off into nothing in particular as he looked up to the shop ceiling.

“...but that’s just how the system works, isn't it? We slay Hollows so they can be reborn into Souls, and so that we can keep preserving the balance between the Soul Society, Hueco Mundo, and the world of the living lest it all comes to an unceremonious end. While I don’t think that ought to apply to fully sentient beings like Arrancar, in a way, I see us slaying Hollows as a mercy. It’s a kindness, really, to end the suffering that consumed them as souls, souls we couldn’t save on time… which is more than I can say compared to how my precursors treated the Quincy.”

And there it is. Kōtarō turned silent at his mention of the Quincy—the polar opposite to his kind, those who he directly and involuntarily fought against in the Quincy Blood War. The relationship between Hollows, plus Arrancar by extension, and Shinigami was a relatively simple one to break down into words. It was an easy regurgitation of hard facts internalized over his century-long career, splashed with his own personal impressions on those who stood at the apex of Hollowkind. Quincy, on the other hand… where could he even begin?

“…I only swing my zanpakutō to slay Hollows. Cutting down humans though—the very people I’m supposed to be keeping watch over and protecting—that’s not what I signed up for, but that’s exactly what I did during that war, isn't it? Even if it was in self-defence, those Soldaten were still humans with lives to live and families to come back to… it’s shameful, when I think about it.”

Gaze narrowed as grim visions of the war returned to the forefront of his mind, then shut firmly with a wince for an expression as Kōta fought those unpleasant memories back.

“A-anyway, right. The Quincy, a race of spiritually empowered humans who fight with reishi manipulation… though I’m guessing you’re asking specifically about my thoughts on the Vandenreich, aren’t you?” This earned the lieutenant a slow nod from his candy shop-owning inquirer. “Well, whereas the Espada were either coerced into joining Aizen, fought for the sake of fighting, or relished at the opportunity to kill Soul Reapers, the Quincy who rallied under Yhwach’s banner differ in that they all shared a justified, nigh-unified hatred towards us. Unlike Aizen and the Espada… the Quincy’s war was a direct consequence of the Gotei 13’s past actions—that much, I understand now. Yhwach only galvanized and weaponized what was already there because of my predecessors.”

The look on Lt. Ryōhei’s face came off as fatigued now—he had a long time to think about this particular subject, with many sleepless nights spent reading and discussing the matter with fellow reapers after the dust settled. “Even if genocide was attempted for the sake of preventing the collapse of all three realms, all in the name of balance again, it’s still genocide, right? Of course retribution was going to follow. Of course they’d want to wipe us out in turn, just as the Gotei 13 tried to do unto them between the first war and the attempted extermination over 200 years ago. Then the second war came, only for Yhwach to dispose of them just as easily once they served their purpose…”

The storm-haired man paused as his own words started to weigh him down. "I feel... awful for them, really. Time and again they’ve been persecuted through no real fault of their own. Quincy don’t exist—weren’t brought into this world—only to die by our hands. I refuse to accept that.” A brief pause, to top off his half-full cup with some fresh tea... only to realize the pot was empty. "Then for their loyalty, the reward many of the survivors wrought was abandonment by their own God-King. There’s no sugarcoating it: the Quincy deserve better. Compassion, aid, pity, whatever; they kept getting robbed at every turn, and then were robbed some more when they’ve had enough and bit back. I don’t care if negotiations in the past fell through—we need to sit down, try again, keep talking, and come up with something of a proper solution for both sides.”

His company noted how Kōtarō’s observations between the Espada and Quincy differed, given he’d only ever fought one of the two himself, and so he piped up with an interesting question. Forgiveness?

“Truth is… I do forgive them, Urahara-san. Really, I do. Impossible as it may seem, even after they’ve slaughtered thousands of our own? Including Yamamoto, Sasakibe, and… and even Ukitake? After everything they’ve done? I honestly forgive them. There’s no point in condemning the remaining Quincy for fighting under Yhwach’s banner once upon a time. What matters is how we survivors—us and them—choose to live our lives in the here and now. Those among the Sternritter who still swear fealty to Yhwach, it’s probably inevitable we’ll come to fight again. There, I can sleep comfortably knowing I’ll raise my blade to try and stop them from trying to pile on more needless sacrifices, and this time, I’ll be ready for them if that happens. Those who just want to live their lives in peace, on the other hand… I’d like to build up a proper rapport with them somehow, if it’s doable, you know?”

A laugh broke from the lieutenant, albeit a sardonic one, as he continued with that line of thought. “Though I’m sure they don’t want to risk making themselves visible to Gotei folk like myself, or would sooner put an arrow through my heart before I’d get the chance to say: ‘Hello, my kind tried to wipe yours out on three separate occasions! What say we forget all that and let bygones be bygones over a good sporting game of shogi?’” Kōtarō even swung his arms together to emphasize his delivering a punchline as though he were a standup comedian, but the wry smile on his face made it clear he wasn’t aiming for laughs.

Ah, his tea grew cold from neglect… and the cup was still half full.

Oh well, down the hatch.

As he drank the last of his tea, Kisuke chanced another question—if there were any Arrancar or Quincy Kōtarō would want to meet himself. An interesting proposition…

“Well… I did hear that Captain Kurotsuchi has a Privaron on standby who specializes in wind manipulation like me? I’d like to meet him sometime, if that’s the case—discuss our craft, see what we can learn from each other and what not.”

A name slipped from the man of science’s lips: Dordoni. The lieutenant of winds nodded and made a mental note of it; the next time he’s over by the Shinigami Research and Development Institute, he’ll ask around.

“As for the Sternritter, at least among those I’ve read about… that’s an easy one. Sternritter T: Candice Catnipp, the Thunderbolt.”

Somehow, his name choice only seemed to amuse the man sitting opposite across the table. The combination of fan raised over his face, a tasteless joke, and a sly smirk got under Kōta's skin immediately.

“H-hey, hey, it’s nothing like THAT! I’m a man of storms and wind, she’s a woman of thunder and lightning—I vibe with her aesthetic is all I’m saying!” Kōta was quick to shoot up onto his knees and slam his hands on the table as he tried to defend himself (he couldn’t help but wonder what kind of crazy weather they could create together, lover of storms he is), but it was a fool’s errand that only spurred Urahara into further laughter at his expense. Oh well.

“SO, as you asked, I shared my thoughts on our former adversaries and then some. Say you keep your end of the bargain and we keep all of this between ourselves?” he huffed, shooting an unimpressed glare toward the man in green, who just set down a new batch of fresh tea for them both with a nod. At least that’s settled.

Kōtarō mulled things over as he sipped on ginger, as he found his mind going back to Ginjō and the words they exchanged then. He had believed in the greater good of the Soul Society for so long, but some of the atrocities his own kind committed had him stop and think sometimes. Even his late Captain set his foot down when he saw one injustice too many with Rukia’s execution 12 years prior, which only made Ryōhei prouder to serve the Thirteenth Division under Ukitake’s name.

The source of all that injustice… the endless suffering of Hollows, the attempted genocides onto the Quincy, the ongoing squalor Souls lived in after believing in the idea of a cozy afterlife…

“…sometimes, I can’t help but wonder,” Kōtarō found himself saying. "How much easier would it be for everyone if we didn’t have to worry about something as arbitrary, impersonal, and cruel as ‘balance’ in the first place?”

Spirituality in islam: Talib, Murid, Salik, Wasil (The Seeker, The One Who Wills, The Initiate, The One Who Has Attained or Reached)

God is the ultimate goal and human beings are travelers on the road to Him; there are as many paths that lead toward God as there are breaths taken by living creatures. The facts that human beings are favored with the manifestations of the Divine Names, that the travelers are endowed with innate abilities, which are God’s particular gifts to them, and that there is special attention and complimentary remarks directed towards them for services that will be rendered later are some of the signs that mark these paths. Without a doubt, the final goal is pleasing God or obtaining His approval and good pleasure; the greatest means of advancing towards this goal is the ability to recognize Him and to acquire knowledge of Him, as well as trying to inform others of Him. This is known as guidance. The differences in capacities and the great variety of human character and disposition have caused the creation of many efficient systems and methods of traveling toward Him. Those who travel toward Him according to these systems are able to make progress. Journeys can start at different points, but they continue through the same mansions or stations and culminate in some corner of the same “climate.”

The final station for every traveler depends on the individual capacity to rise. Every traveler starts journeying at one particular station, quarter, seaport, airport or ramp. The starting point differs. However, the mansions that are passed, the areas that are reached, the horizons attained, the states experienced and the stations at which the travelers stop to rest are all in the same space, but adorned with different designs, like the slopes of Paradise, and tinted with different hues. The paths advance one within the other, or side by side, through hills and valleys, narrowing at some points and broadening at others; sometimes the way is rough and sometimes smooth. Travelers journey along them in different ways or with different styles. Many begin traveling these paths while many others are reaching the final point in their journey. Despite these apparent differences, the journey has the same essential character. A point which is considered to be the final point for one traveler may be the starting point for another. There are many others who suppose they are advancing, but who in fact are unable to cover the smallest distance, while the number of those who travel through the horizons that stretch beyond time and space and who are determined to rise higher and higher is not a few.

In fact, so long as there are hands that clasp the Unbreakable Rope and eyes and hearts fixed on the explicit, incontestable principles and judgments of the Qur’an and Sunna, then all paths lead to God and all travelers are travelers toward God, the Ultimate Truth. Different attitudes in journeying and different types of traveling arise from the comprehensiveness and practicability of the Religion; they are also the result of the breadth and tolerance that exist in fields open to deductive reasoning based on the basic principles, the various manifestations of Divine Names, and the variety of capacities. In any event, travelers advance toward God and it is for this reason that they are described as the travelers to the Ultimate Truth.

Rather than calling the travelers who advance via different paths by different names according to the profundity of their belief, the soundness of their Islamic understanding and approaches, the depth of their consciousness of God’s omnipresence, the breadth and richness of their horizon of thought, the spaciousness of their conscience, the faultless operation of all of their internal and external senses, the optimum use of their mental and spiritual faculties, their capacity to rise while making their spiritual journey, their beginning their journey from the corporeal, created realm and continuing it based on the principles or commands of the spiritual realm and according to their sincerity, purity, resolution, steadfastness, and their faithfulness to the Ultimate Truth—rather than calling the travelers by different names according to these and certain other factors, I deem it more appropriate and practical to study them under the titles of “the seeker, the one who wills, the initiate, and the one who has attained or reached.” While mentioning travelers to the Ultimate Truth by these titles, which are different from but at the same time interrelated to one another, we will sometimes use the term “one who has true knowledge of God” in place of the “one who wills,” “the initiate,” and “the one who has attained” on account of their horizon of knowledge of God.

Now let us study these titles one by one:

The seeker

This is used for one who seeks, desires, and tries to obtain knowledge or some other blessing. As a term, the seeker denotes one who has newly begun their spiritual journey and who is trying to obtain primary information about knowledge, the knowledge of God, and truth; they are determined to attain that which they pursue. On account of being at the beginning of the journey, such a person may be deemed to be of little value or significance, but as all consequent advancements and blessings that come in parallel to these advancements depend on the demand and determination which the seeker has at the beginning, they are in fact a seed that is ready to sprout and flourish. In order to express the significance of such a seeking, the venerable Junayd al-Baghdadi says:

“Whoever demands and seeks ultimately finds what he seeks.”

This saying later came to be a popular adage.

The Sufis use the term “the seeker” to indicate one who has begun following a Sufi path under the leadership of a guide. However, when a seeker has fulfilled whatever is required for being equipped with will-power, they can sometimes achieve a sudden transformation from being a “ seeker” to being “one who wills,” and then advance as far as the horizon of “the initiate” through God’s special favors and begin dreaming of reaching God. It sometimes occurs that a seeker remains restricted within the narrow horizon of seeking without being able to cover any distance despite their exhausting efforts to advance. We should also remember that there are conditions if a person is to be accepted as one who seeks. Every candidate is tested by a perfect guide in order to discover whether or not they have the character and manners that will enable them to make the journey. If they are found to be fit for the journey, they are then told, “Hold on to the hand of your guide and walk toward the Ultimate Truth.” Being a seeker and a candidate for the rank of “one who wills,” this traveler advances toward the realms that open unto their heart, and flies past the peaks that give way before their capacity. However, they should firmly clasp the hand to which they hold with the conviction that this hand is the means for them to reach their goal; they should fix their eyes on this “mirror” in their hands, in or through which they will be able to observe the manifestations of Divine Names, and they should avoid breaking it. They should also advance resolutely on the path they have taken, and remain devoted to it heart and soul. Muhammed Ali Hilmi Dede puts forwards his ideas about the seeker as follows:

One who seeks holds onto the hand of a guide, Submitting their soul and tongue to the Ultimate Truth. One who wills girds a sword around their waist, Clinging firmly to the girdle of their guide.

If the seeker is one who truly seeks the light and gift of God, they should be steadfast in following the path without any deviance, always remaining turned toward Him in love, so that they can be regarded as truthful and faithful in their quest and favored with the regard and attention of He Who is the All-Besought One. Such a degree of dedication and devotion is what is required of one who wills and of one who is determined to give their free will its due.

The one who wills or the willing one

According to the Sufis, the one who wills is one who after renouncing their personal desires and aims is attached to a guide in accordance with the religious rules and is under the guidance of this person for their spiritual training. This term is used to denote the dervishes who have not yet entered or who have been unable to enter the path of initiation; the first rank that will be attained by one who wills is annihilation in the guide.

Muhyi’d-Din ibnu’l-‘Arabi defines the one who wills or the willing one as one who has renounced looking, seeing, and willing on their own account, but has rather turned wholly to God. This definition differs from other definitions. According to Ibnu’l- ‘Arabi, one who wills sees their free will as belonging to God and as a manifestation of His absolute Will, thus perceiving all other forms of will or volition as being relative or of a nominal existence and nature. If this consideration by Ibnu’l-‘Arabi was a result of spiritual ecstasy, then no one has the right to criticize it. If this was not the case, then the scholars of essentials of religion would have had something to say about it. Even though those like the venerable Ibnu’l-‘Arabi attribute free will to human beings, in theory, in the sense of inclination, they venerate those who have renounced their free will in the face of the Divine Will. The reason why there is a variety of approaches in such matters is partly due to differences in individual spiritual tastes, visions, experiences and states, as well as in temperaments and dispositions.

No matter who the person that one who wills is attached to, their real goal is God, the All-Besought One. However, all of those who will are not at the same level and may have different manners. There are some, known as “one who is absolutely sincere in their seeking,” who never disagree with their guide and avoid manners that could be interpreted as opposing the guide. They do not search for evidence for the words and decrees of the guide in other places. There are others who, although they also follow the orders of their guide both apparently and at heart, and who do not feel the need to search for different ways or methods, are not as sensitive or as careful as the former in following or in attachment to the guide. Such people are called “one who wills figuratively.” There are still yet others, if they can truly be regarded as being among those who will, who, even though they apparently comply with their guide, always breathe opposition to the guide in their absence and in their secret considerations; these latter think that it is of no harm to behave differently, zigzagging along the path. The Sufis use the term “deserter” to define such people.

The most important characteristics that are expected from one who wills are truthfulness, loyalty, trustworthiness, and straightforwardness. These are all the characteristics that belong to those who are stationed near to God. That is, among the attributes that one who wills should have are being true in words, actions, and thoughts, being mentioned as a trustworthy one in the heavens and on the earth, always giving the impression that one is utterly reliable, and being a person of steadfastness and resolution who gives their free will its due.

Despite being at the beginning of the journey, one who wills should always be respectful for the principles and criteria of the Shari‘a, possessing the sensitivity of an initiate and observing the norms that are generally accepted by the Muslim community, thus avoiding religiously detestable things. If they happen to commit a repugnant act, even once, or fail to observe an accepted norm, the traveler should immediately hasten to the fountain of repentance, penitence, and contrition, with the thought of giving no respite to anything that is sinful or to any stain caused by having committed something that is displeasing to God. Without delay, they should be purified of the filth or viruses that can open up wounds in their heart and spirit.

In addition, such a traveler who is traveling the path toward the Ultimate Truth and seeking God’s good pleasure should set their heart on the Ever-Besought One, thus cleansing their heart of attachment to wealth and earning, love of rank and position, desire for comfort, and interest in anything other than God. Moreover, they should regard being and not being, being favored with certain things and being deprived of them, gaining and losing, that which comes and that which does not come, that which remains and that which does not remain, and being accepted and being rejected all as equal. They should try to keep all these opposites equal in their world of the spirit.

As the final point for one who wills is annihilation in the Will of the Lord, complete obedience to the guide from the beginning is required. If one who wills is to continue to be favored with Divine regard, it is extraordinarily important that they obey the commandments given in accordance with the Shari‘a without objection, fulfilling whatever they are advised to do and never neglecting the devotional recitations that they have undertaken to do regularly. These are preparatory and encouraging duties that are to be fulfilled for the full observance of the Qur’an and Sunna. It is clear that a traveler toward the Ultimate Truth who gives their free will its due in loyalty to their guide will be sensitive in the observation of the orders and prohibitions of the Ultimate Truth. However, they should avoid treating the guide, who is the mirror through which the Sun’s rays— God’s blessings—are reflected as if he were the Sun, that is, God, and thus considering the means to be the goal.

The attitude of the willing one or of one who wills in the face of God, their view of themselves and other people, and their approach to Divine gifts and bounties are also of great importance. First of all, they should see themselves as being inferior to all people and so that this view is not without support, they should always control, examine and criticize their faults. They should try to be aware of any faults or sins that catch their attention, as if they have newly committed them, busying themselves at every instant, every hour, and every day with their own purification, as well as completely abandoning finding fault with others. If the one who wills think that they have any merits, they should tremble in fear that these are present as a means for gradual perdition, as they have not been purified enough to be deserving of such blessings. They should not attribute to themselves any part of their praiseworthy activities, from their greatest services for the sake of God to their sincerest acts of worship, or from their most unbearable sufferings to their most difficult attempts of initiation; nor should they have any extraordinary expectations due to such actions. Even if they are favored with showers of gifts and blessings, they should worry that these may be coming as a test, saying like Muhammed Lutfi Efendi:

That which I have—I am not worthy of it;

This favor and grace—why have they been bestowed on me?

The traveler should never think that they are worthy of any such attributes, and in order not to be ungrateful to God for them, they should feel gratitude in their heart and then utterly forget about them, without ever recollecting them. Otherwise, that which could lead to triumph may end in a pit of loss and that which appears to be a gift may become the cause of frustration.

It cannot be thought that a willing one whose mind and heart are expectant of gifts and blessings, and whose feelings pursue unusual occurrences can have a sound relationship with God Almighty. How can it be thought that while they should actually be purifying their heart, the house of God, of anything other than God and always being concerned with God in their inner world, they are wasting their time on things that are outside the sphere of their duties and responsibilities, and thus constantly deviating towards disagreeable expectations?

One who wills has unshakable belief and confidence in the sufficiency of the Qur’an and the Sunna as the way of the Prophet, upon him be peace and blessings. Even though they are not at a level where they can use these two basic sources themselves, they should be deeply devoted to them with perfect regard, always preserving their conviction that they will be able to attain anything they seek via the Qur’an and Sunna, and realizing what a great blessing living a life in a continuous relationship with the Qur’an is; in this way they are able to remain distant from trivialities and fantasies that are an illusion of knowledge, but which are of no use for the mental or intellectual and spiritual life.

Every traveler toward the Ultimate Truth who has turned to God under the care of a guide and who is a hero of will-power and discipline must be careful in all matters, from their personal life to their relationships with their Lord, not allowing any contradiction to occur between their heart and their actions, but rather always acting in self-possession, and eating, drinking, sleeping, and talking little, restricting these activities to only what is necessary, regarding anything superfluous as waste. One who truly wills is steadfast in their opposition to their carnal soul and regards this opposition as a means of approaching nearer to God; at the same time such a person will consider following the carnal soul as a means of failure and loss. One who lives at peace with their carnal desires and fancies is not regarded as one who wills. For after having set out to attain God, if one replaces guidance with the pursuit of the realization of carnal desires, this means turning back upon the path on which they have embarked. This is considered to be desertion. One who wills should always be steadfast, waiting at the door to which they have turned and continuing on the road on which they have embarked, always displaying a spirit of deep loyalty. One who has been defeated in the test of willpower at the very outset can never be considered to be one of loyalty, faithfulness, trustworthiness, or straightforwardness. Nor is it possible for such a person to be able to read Divine Acts correctly, or to understand anything of the Divine Names, or to make sense of or comprehend the Divine Attributes. Every thought will be no more than a guess or a conjecture, and their every attitude and act will be deviant.

For the one who wills, for all travelers toward the Ultimate Truth, the following points are of the greatest importance:

A traveler should see themselves as nothing in the sense of positive values. They should use the initial gifts of God that arrive during the journey to attain the goal; this is the reason that they have been sent. Such a traveler should have no desire for anything worldly, rather they should be content with whatever they have and they should have utter confidence in God; they should be oblivious of themselves when it is time to distribute rewards in return for services rendered and try to find causes and agents other than themselves for the good results of their endeavors. Such a traveler should feel responsible for any failure or negative consequences without trying to blame others.

Other points which have almost the same importance are as follows:

Piety and righteousness are provisions for the afterlife of the traveler. A person who intends to follow a spiritual path should always seek refuge in the “greenhouse” of piety, as decreed in the verse, Take your provisions for the Hajj (for any long travel). In truth, the best provision is righteousness and piety, so be provided with righteousness and piety (2:197).

A traveler should be utterly sincere in whatever they do and say, as if they were presenting themselves for the inspection of God Almighty, the holy Prophet, upon him be peace and blessings, and other pure spiritual beings.

As decreed in Always be in the company of the truthful and loyal(9:119), the traveler should choose their friends and comrades from among the people of loyalty and trustworthiness. This is extraordinarily important for a safe journey. Being near to those who are near to God and keeping aloof from selfish, arrogant ones—provided that one refrains from causing the formation of conflicting groups in society— is important, particularly for the principle of preventing harm and evil.

Respect for the elderly, pity, care and concern for children, and compassion for all human beings are requirements for all Muslims and therefore are required when following a spiritual path.

A traveler should try to remain pure in the face of God, preserving their primordial nature that was bestowed on them in its purest form; if they should happen to lapse, they should turn to God in their heart, criticize themselves, and be purified with repentance; they should then ask for forgiveness, cutting off at the root the tendencies to evil in their soul, and always be alert to any further possible evil acts or lapses.

Ostentation, hypocrisy, affectation, and love of fame are regarded as being among the most lethal viruses from which a traveler must protect themselves. If a heart cannot remain distant from these, its balance is disturbed. One cannot search for any Divine manifestation with such a heart, and the bosom in which it nestles cannot be a pavilion for any Divine manifestations that might come.

The heart is a house of God. It must be kept pure for its Owner’s sake so that a traveler does not darken the most vital dimension of their being or cause any eclipses in their spiritual life while possessing such a source of light.

A traveler with such important responsibilities should be under the leadership of a guide on this path, which is full of risks, while it is also on this path that travelers may be favored with as many precious gifts and blessings as are required for gaining eternal happiness. This leadership is important for both the safety of the journey and advancement without deviation. However, a guide is only a mirror and one who shows the way. Therefore, they should never be regarded as the actual leader that enables the traveler to advance or the source of the gifts and blessings that come during the journey. It is a deviance of creed to consider the guide as a supreme being or one having superhuman attributes, or the source of all gifts and blessings. Such a deviance also blocks the breezes of favor that originate from the Genuine Source. This does not mean that a traveler should not pay due respect to the guide; the guide is a mirror that reflects these gifts and blessings. The breezes of favor that come from the Realm of Mercy reach us in the atmosphere of the guide; Divine gifts and blessings are reflected on our spirits by means of the guide as a mirror and the guide functions as a veil before God’s Grandeur and Dignity. They serve their followers sometimes as light, sometimes as air, sometimes as water, and sometimes as food, functioning as a means for their rising. Let us finish this discussion with the following stanza from Anwari:

The meaning of “You will never be able to see Me”:

I could not understand it without being

“Mount Sinai” in tearful love.

The mystery of the truth of the cloak that covers the Prophet’s Family.

I could not understand this without being happy when meeting a guide.

Some Sufi scholars call one who has just set off on the spiritual path “the one who wills or the willing one,” and they refer to the one who has reached the end of the path as “the one who is willed or the willed one.” They see the former as a hero of suffering and hardship, and the latter as a hero of Divine grace who is favored with attraction and being attracted toward God. In my opinion, a traveler who has just set off on the path is the one who is on the way to being one who wills, while when they approach the horizon of the initiate in endeavors to reach God they have reached the final point of being one who wills.

O God! Guide us to the Straight Path. Shower on us from Your supreme Grace and pour on us from Your Mercy, O the All- Merciful, the All-Compassionate. Bestow blessings and peace on the one whom You sent as mercy for all the worlds, and on his Family and Companions, pure and clean.

From there watch the subtle approach the devil tries to get John to deny GOD via false premise:

JM: No, no you'll get along with men. The question is how are you going to get along with GOD?

LK: Yeah well that one I'll worry about later. If you do unto others, as you would have them do unto you..You’re pretty good. You could be an atheist

JM: You’ll be a nicer atheist, you’ll be able to get along with..

LK: Wouldn’t you prefer to be a good atheist than a bad Christian? [background: “yeah”]

JM: I’d rather be a Christian.

ISSUE: Non-believers try to get us to deny GOD before men.

It is obtained by making ridiculous comparisons. Under the wrong assumptions:

John 3:19 | And this is the verdict, The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light, because their deeds were evil.

John 12:25 | Whoever loves his life will lose it, but whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

John 15:19 | If you were of the world, it would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.

It is unbiblical that as true believers we’ll ever get along with the world—even if you love them as yourself.

So what was the purpose behind the law of love?

John 17:23 | I in them & YOU in ME—that they may be perfectly united, so that the world may know that YOU sent ME & have loved them just as YOU have loved ME.

John 14:31 | But I do exactly what the FATHER has commanded ME, so that the world may know that I love the FATHER. Get up! Let us go on from here.”

Chuck came off as bad (& as annoying) as Metatron, to me. Very megalomaniac like & SO OOC. He's worried about Jack sneezing India away. But then he just overreacts (to D&S making the RIGHT CHOICE which he always liked before) & 'ends' the world he was so worried about?

But to be fair, this seems to be going on with a lot of people.

And generally comes from, atop canon confusion, Christian Culture Coding getting in the way of people’s lenses, even if they, themselves, are atheist or whatever, because we live in a society largely formulated by the dogma.

That said,

You’re confusing the God of Control with the God of Good. Point being, there was never a God of Good, just a God of Control. He humors, he lies, he misleads, and when it goes beyond his control, he punishes. He burns. He floods. He starts over. Or at least Gnostic. Hermetic has a different silver lining which I bang on elsewhere. The two overlap. We’ll see.

Christian dogma is understandably unkind to this, or the mainstream forms of it. Other belief systems that tap on judeochristian elements, like Gnosticism and Hermeticism – which were both very present in this season, admit to this from different angles.

Gnosticism is the pessimistic angle, wherein ironically Lucifer was the force of respective good who brought knowledge to man with his division from the divine, and brought free will. Hermeticism acknowledges the Great Good as god, but not as the god we know. Both forms have a god above the terrestrial god, above the fire and brimstone god, above both a masculine and a feminine aspect (Amara) as the one and the all - the shadow of god, as it were, the first thought that floated in the Empty Nothingness, the Ein Soph. As all things are this Shadow, we are all God, and all reflected in it, and it is our own Shadow as well, but no one of us is the one true god unto ourselves. Rather, climbing the tree of life is the ascent towards the divinity, away from the terrestrial and mundane worlds and into a state of cosmic consciousness – first in realms of angels and gods and then past it, to primal thought and to grasp what the Nothing Before Creation even means.

Gnosticism’s pessism gives aspect to this in addressing the concept of Abraxas as the true creator, with demiurges and false creators beneath them as fragments of the self. A two set: A god of both creation and control, and a god of knowledge and freedom. But there is also the divine masculine and the divine feminine, representing creation and destruction, neither of which are good or evil, just balances of the universe.

The god that breathed creation is more of the true satan in our understanding of the concept; that the Lucifer that was cast down did so at the cost of breaking past the walls of control to bring a different form of truth to man. Gnosticism frames Lucifer, ironically, as the benevolent force in this structure (which, in theory, in being the first to rebel against villainous Chuck and his control, would have made him the first hero of this story, as much as we are loath to admit it with Mark P – to whence he was caged, strangulated, abused, kicked out of heaven, and himself became a monster – is this sounding familiar with Jack’s path in sync to Team Free Will as his fathers?)

Even still, Chuck’s attempt to control – or, in the old narrative, save his creation – was giving the mark to Lucifer. Lucifer, driven by the destructive balance needed in the universe, then descended. Amara’s destruction and black smoke still entered the world as the demons and hell, and balance resumed, with Lucifer framed into the Ultimate Villain Of This Story, drive and motivation behind we only hear in S11, but didn’t want to sympathize with, especially with Chuck’s supposed parental lessons.

On the other hand, Chuck voluntarily wrote the draft for the ultimate biblical revelation. Everybody tore that up. In theory he kept writing. He kept “creating.” Only his creation was one misery porn after another. Other pseudo-gods tried to fill his place, even write like him, but without the same universal impact because they weren’t really in his seat. He was still writing. He was still writing all of it.

A thousand prayers he could have answered and he didn’t. He just kept writing. Kept making new dramas. There is the theoretical question of if Amara is a being of his own design to introduce the drama of it, but with the later gnostic and hermetic structure meeting the vein of it, that is unlikely. Rather, it is the divided god, The Archon, the Demiurge, the Unbegotten father theoretically above it, just like in full metal alchemist,

Speculatory? Sure, but not unparallel. It was the end of the road at the far nothing once journies were met, past poles of sacrifice and gain, of destruction and creation, of any concept of evil or good. It is the ultimate good, because its thoughts are what becomes and exists, but it is you, and me, and everyone, and it is our shadow that reflects us, as only its dream is, in a very lovecraftian concept wherein it just wants to sleep.

Anything like… ringin’ a bell here?

The shorthand explanation is that Chuck is the creator force of the universe(s) related to him, as part of the dream, and Amara is the destroyer force of the universe(s) related to her, but in essence they’re still dancing poles. When Chuck and Amara took their leave, they made a balanced caduceus towards the heavens, a legendary sign of balance that would later become relevant in all of the hermetic STUFF going on, especially in season 14.

God is a writer. The shadow – in theory, unless they swing way far left all of a sudden – is a dreamer past them, the thoughts of the nothing in which we all reside. People may consider this somehow underwhelming, “it was all a dream,” but it’s a great step beyond that and it’s reductio ad absurdum to apply that, unless you only consider your entire life a dream – because this is a philosophy turned over by some of the greatest minds our academia banters back and forth to our day, banters the specifics of, entire elaborate philosophies and theologies are written around. Abraxas (though buckleming wasted that name on the late demonology corruption, and it has many names and forms) is the origin of Abracadabra – I speak therefore I am; it is similar, and yet in opposition to the alternate take, “Only what I dream is real, I know nothing of reality beyond what I know.” – the opposition of the idea of a divine force compelling you, versus being the center of your own active dream you take into your control.

How far TPTB take this line of philosophy is hard to say, but they’re definitely popping some wheelies around with the idea right now.

God had fun with his control, his story, his entertainment, until the free will inserted into the universe beyond his control reached a pinnacle where they no longer followed his orders, or went without question; wherein they looked him in the face and tried to take him down. The story, then, ceases to be fun. It is no longer of value. Rather, his entertainment comes in the ways of old with each major rebellion: the fire and brimstone of the past, putting a new spin on the universe that is his sandbox, with or without Amara’s aid, who he may very well even be unified with despite not entirely being one with the Shadow of himself (and us.) After all, they caduceus spiraled their way out, who’s to say what became of them on that road trip, and what balance was met. Amara’s, what, playing craps out in Reno? Sure. But writers lie.

Team Free Will are the ouroboros that has broken its chain, becoming the brazen serpent that climbs the cross/tree it would have been crucified on in a journey towards the peak of existence and enlightenment, standing toe to toe with what seems to be the crown, and the skies grow dark until they can tackle, and own that. Until they take full, true, and total control of their experience to the godhood, and really, truly, and ultimately rip up not just the ending and the rules, but whatever forces are dictating, rewriting, finding new amusement in their sufferages, feeding draft after draft of possible deaths or rewrites even to Death trying to keep the cosmic order, who herself is growing tired of the shenanigans.

sermon ten, annotated

ok, i’m skipping some sermons. at some point, i’ll cover every sermon, including the ones i skipped, and i’ll have a masterpost for them. as for now, let’s talk about sermon ten.

You have discovered the tenth Sermon of Vivec, which was hidden in the words that came in the aftermath to the Hortator.

the lessons often have related series of sermons sprinkled throughout. this series, began in sermon six, takes the form of vivec advising nerevar.

The evoker shall raise his left hand empty and open, to indicate he needs no weapons of his own.

to evoke is to call forward, or summon - so the evoker summons forth his friends and foes. the evoker may also be one who seeks power, usually divine.

it’s very worth noting the inspiration that [writer-of-these-sermons-who-is-not-to-be-named] draws upon for a lot of the symbolism throughout is based on western occult practices of the 19th and 20th centuries. most notably, the ideas are heavily influenced by practices such as thelema.

simply put, in these kinds of magical practices, the right hand is associated with positive qualities, whereas the left hand is associated with negative ones. the right hand is creation, purity; the left hand is destruction, chaos.

in the context of this sermon being advice given by vivec to nerevar, it stands to reason the “evoker” refers to the hortator. with his “left hand empty and open” he shows “he needs no weapon of his own.” note, however, that in sermon seven, the egg vivec wrote GHARTOK PADHOME, the hand that wields change like a weapon, on both of his hands. hortator needs no weapon because his hands are his weapon; his hands are change, and that is enough.

The coming forth is always hidden, so the evoker is always invisible or, better, in the skin of his enemies.

the evoker calls forward, so “the coming forth” is done by those he summons. they will be hidden, but so will the evoker, either “invisible, or, better, in the skin of his enemies.” the latter is a reference to the legend of boethiah wearing trinimac’s skin to denounce the old ways and encourage the velothi movement.

'The eyelid of the kingdom shall fill thiry [sic] and six folios, but the eye shall read the world.'

the thirty and six folios are these lessons, of course. as for the eyelid and the eye, we will return to this later in this sermon.

By this the Hortator needs me to understand. The sword is an impatient signature. Write no contacts on the dead. Vivec says unto the Hortator remember the words of Boet-hi-ah:

the previous quote (’The eyelid of the kingdom....’) is what the hortator needs vivec in order to understand. another instance of vivec downplaying nerevar’s intelligence and agency.

the sword being “an impatient signature” means that violence can show your hand too quickly. have patience before making yourself known, and signing your signature upon the deeds. come forth with empty hands.

uesp usually adds [sic] when there’s a typo. as for the “contacts on the dead” line, i think there is also a typo. the only evidence i have for this is that “contracts on the dead” fits better with what i’m saying.

anyways, the point is that you put your signature on a contract. violence is an impatient signature, one that shows your hand too soon, so it’s likewise unwise to try to force the dead to comply with your demands. did i say unwise? i meant impossible, unless you’re a necromancer.

if you’re patient, and hide your sword behind open hands, you may end up getting a better deal than defeating your enemies. maybe you find a way to “hold your friends close, enemies closer.” case in point, the chimer-dwemer alliance against the nords.

anyways, we’re primed for the next paragraph, which is “the words of Boet-hi-ah:”

We pledge ourselves to you, the Frame-maker, the Scarab: a world for us to love you in, a cloak of dirth [sic] to cherish.

the “Frame-maker” and “Scarab” is lorkhan, who boethiah has always had a major crush on. boe claims that the true purpose of the mundus project was to elevate lorkhan via recursive reflection, worship that comes around on itself and self-amplifies. it’s not without its struggles, though: it’s “a cloak of dirt” after all.

Betrayed by your ancestors when you were not even looking. Hoary Magnus and his ventured opinions cannot sway the understated, a trick worthy of the always satisfied.

and those struggles ultimately derive from the other et’ada losing faith in him and his project. their lost faith became bitterness which became betrayal. when lorkhan was on the cusp of his greatest victory, “when [he was] not even looking,” he was turned upon viciously.

“hoary magnus” refers to the god of magic, who is also the sun. despite the betrayal of the vast majority of the et’ada, led by magnus and auri-el, magnus’s “ventured opinions cannot sway the understated,” meaning his mutiny didn’t convince the few who still clung fast to lorkhan’s vision. for those faithful, it was the best “trick” he could try to cast doubt on the mundus project - nothing short of such manipulation could have possibly swayed “the always satisfied,” those who are so sure of their ambitions that nothing could discourage them.

A short season of towers, a rundown absolution, and what is this, what is this but fire under your eyelid?

“a short season of towers” refers to the history of nirn. the towers are physical spires with metaphysical implications, things that hold up reality and its tenets (or those imposed by their architects and rulers) like tentpoles.

absolution means forgiveness, but a “rundown absolution” is a forgiveness in a sad state, of very poor quality. lorkhan forgives his kin for their betrayal, but it is bitter forgiveness, for only lorkhan truly understands the scope of what was lost. “a short season of towers” could have been something much, much greater.

and, in case we didn’t already understand how boethiah feels about lorkhan, she tells us that even the majesty of what has been created is “but fire under your eyelid?”

but there’s more to this eyelid thing. remember that line i skipped over earlier?

'The eyelid of the kingdom shall fill thiry [sic] and six folios, but the eye shall read the world.'

the eyelid is what you see when your eyes are closed, when you are asleep. the sleeping may read these sermons, but they’re nothing “but fire under your eyelid” - to be awake, with your eyes open, you can read the world itself. note the sleeping/awake dichotomy, which should be familiar if you’ve played the main quest of morrowind, and discovered the sleeping, dreaming house dagoth.

Shift ye in your skin, I say to the Trinimac-eaters. Pitch your voices into the color of bruise.

the “Trinimac-eaters” of course refers to boethiah and her faithful. the dunmer have not only distinct skin from their altmer cousins, but distinct accents as well (except in oblivion, but ... yeah). in morrowind they have the classic chain-smoker voice, and skyrim gives them sort of a scottish(?) accent. (i don’t know what eso does, forgive me.) “the color of bruise” refers to the blue-grey skin of the dunmer, so they “pitch [their] voices” into the same shade.

Divide ye like your enemies, in Houses, and lay your laws in set sequence from the center, again like the enemy Corners of the house of Troubles, and see yourself thence as timber, or mud-slats, or sheets of resin. Then do not divide, for yet is the stride of SITHISIT quicker than the rush of enemies, and He will sunder the whole for the sake of a shingle.

to become stronger, the chimer must divide into Houses, each a unique facet of velothi culture, each an important cog in the machine. they may be divided “like your enemies,” but these smaller units strengthen the whole, which vivec (or boethiah i guess) likens to the materials you build a house with. a house is built with timber and mud-slats, just as a House is built of its members; and because of these smaller strengths, chimer society as a whole is made stronger - the Houses become the timbers of a people.

SITHISIT, another name for padomay, primordial chaos and entropy, will ruin the strongest societies, and leave them vulnerable. so instead, cut up your society into manageable chunks, as Houses. the Houses are in conflict with one another, which strengthens them - and their collective strength becomes the strength of the nation. so at the cost of a unified culture, you “sunder the whole for the sake of a shingle.”

For we go different, and in thunder. SITHISIT is the start of all true Houses, built against statis [sic] and lazy slaves. Turn from your predilections, broken like false maps. Move and move like this. Quicken against false fathers, mothers left in corners weeping for glass and rain. Stasis asks merely for nothing, for itself, which is nothing, as you were in the eight everlasting imperfections.

through SITHISIT, the chimer are made different from the altmer. the Houses of the chimer are stronger than the clans of altmer, whose anuic bent prefers stasis, the absence of change - they are “lazy slaves” in deference to auri-el and his ilk. the chimer abandon these anuic “predilections, broken like false maps” - this adherence to stasis is a road leading to nowhere.

“move and move like this,” like fa-nuit-hen, the demiprince who taught the egg vivec in sermon one. the daedra are the ones who know the true path. the aedra are “false fathers,” parents who neglect their duty to allow their children to grow. the “mothers left in corners” might refer to the anticipations, who are almost always depicted as female (with a few occasional exceptions in boethiah). as for why they weep “for glass and rain,” i’m not sure.

stasis asks for nothing and itself, which boethiah says are the same. after all, stasis only holds as much value as it can be compared to. if all were static, nothing who hold any value at all. thus, it is empty. “the eight everlasting imperfections” are the eight divines (talos didn’t exist yet), who are the embodiments of stasis.

Vivec says unto the Hortator remember the words of Vivec.

okay, there’s a verse here where every other line is this line. so i’ll just quote the verse with all those cut out.

UNDERSTAND THAT SITHISIT STILL TRAVELS IN A PHOSPHORESCENT MIRROR OF THE SKY DROWNED AND SMILING INTERMITTENT HOPES ENOUGH TO ANSWER ALL THE THINGS NOT YET QUERIED

“SITHISIT STILL TRAVELS,” a reminder that it is fleeting and always shifting. the “PHOSPHORESCENT MIRROR OF THE SKY” is the mundus, which was meant to reflect lorkhan over and over again until he surpassed the entirety of the aurbis. although, betrayed, “DROWNED,” lorkhan (who is the purest avatar of SITHISIT) is also “SMILING,” for despite his failure, there is yet enough hope that everything will be alright.

A Kabbalistic Perspective on the Yoruba African Tradition

Introduction

I was brought up in Trinidad and Tobago in the West Indies as a good Roman Catholic where any association with ‘strange’ religions or beliefs was frowned upon. One day my father came home and mentioned that he had been to a “Sango” ritual. (Sango is one of the deities in the Yoruba pantheon.) Although this excited my curiosity at the time, my interest in African religion lay dormant for many years.

I was sent to England to continue my education and was introduced to Kabbalah by a friend. Subsequently as a student of Kabbalah, I decided to look at African religious beliefs for universal principles. Because of my memory of Sango I decided to look at the Yoruba tradition in some detail. (The Yorubas live in the South West of Nigeria in West Africa.)

One of the problems in researching African religious traditions is that most of the texts have been written by Europeans. Very few texts on religions have been written by African scholars and even fewer by practising exponents or priests of a particular tradition.

The text which I found invaluable was written by a practising Ifa priest, C. Osamaro Ibie – The Complete works of Orunmila – The Divinity of Wisdom. Ifa encompasses the “revelation, way of life and religion taught by Orunmila…..This knowledge is endless, ageless and eternal.”

Orunmila is the youngest of the Divinities created by Olodumare (God). He knows the secrets of Olodumare. The author tells us that, “This work was embarked upon at the insistence of Orunmila who expressed undisguised anxiety for his followers to know more about him”. It reveals the true account of life both in heaven and on earth.

God’s Decision to Create

Orunmila has revealed that Olodumare created all the Divinities to assist him in the management of the planetary system and that they all owe total allegiance to him. The Divinities all have free will, up to a point, and regard themselves as servants of Olodumare sent by Olodumare into the world to help him make the world a more liveable place for mortals so that through them, the Divinities, man may be able to appreciate how Olodumare loves his creatures.

In Kabbalah we are told that the reason for existence coming into Being is that God wished to behold God. There then followed a process of unfoldment which culminated with the Kabbalistic model of the Tree of Life with it’s four worlds.

In the Yoruba tradition there is no such obvious unfoldment. First there was Olodumare. Oludumare then decided to create his servants and it was so – 200 lower Divinities were created. They were the first inhabitants of heaven and they all “lived normal lives in heaven, each in the image which took after Oludumare own.”

Later Oludumare decided to create man and he sent one of his favourite divinities, Death to fetch the clay with which man’s image was to be moulded after those of the Divinities. Oludumare then cast the human image in clay and told all the Divinities to close their eyes. All the Divinities did as instructed except Orunmila who was peeking. Olodumare caught Orunmila and as he shut his eyes. Oludumare told him to keep them open since nothing spectacular was ever done without a living witness. That is why today another name for Orunmila is Eleri Ukpin or Eleri Orisa meaning God’s own witness.

As Kabbalists we note:

There is God (Oludumare).

God lives in Heaven.

God wills to create.

God creates the Divinities with both passive and expansive qualities in His own image.

All owe total allegiance to Him.

God chooses to create humankind in His image.

Death, one of God’s favourite creations, fetches clay.

God forms man and breathes life into him.

The story continues:

Following the creation of man, Oludumare decides to “carve out the earth”. Man was considered too young and inexperienced to found this new abode, so the Divinities were sent to establish earth with their knowledge, experience and discretion.

After creating man, heaven was becoming too populated so Olodumare decided to send the Divinities to Earth to “form it”. Olodumare then decides to become pure Spirit, only connectable through Spirit. To the Kabbalist, a separation is taking place. God is moving out of Creation into Azilut and beyond, connectable through Spirit and physical earth is being formed. It is interesting to note the injunctions placed on the Divinities with regard to the establishment of Earth.

No one is to take advantage of Oludumare’s physical absence. They must always show respect for Him. The golden rule must be adhered to. That is to say. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

The First Attempt to Establish Life on Earth

Olodumare sends Arugba, his maid, (messenger, the feminine principle) to inform the Divinities that they are to report to him in order to go on a mission. Orunmila who practices divination every day is told to prepare a special meal for a visitor. Arugba visits all the Divinities in order of seniority and delivers her message. When she reaches Orunmila’s house, the last one, he invites her to a meal and because of his hospitality she confides in him Oludumare’s plan. She advises him that when he goes before Olodumare he should ask for four things: the chameleon; the multi-coloured hen and God’s Divine bag, Arugba.

Orunmila goes before Olodumare and his four wishes are granted. He puts into the Divine bag a snails shell, Arugba, the chameleon and chicken plus a sample of all the plants and animals he can lay his hands on. Note that the Divine bag had the capacity of accommodating anything, no matter what the size and also could produce whatever was required of it. (Could this be Da’at?)

All Divinities leave for Earth via the Palm Tree which has roots in heaven and its branches spread over water below. (An inverted Tree of Life) The Divinities cannot go any further. Orunmila, the youngest, leaves heaven last and meets his brethren on the branches. He too waits. Arugba then calls to him from within the bag and tells him to turn the snails shell downward towards the water for within it is the foundation (yesod) soil for Earth. He does as instructed.

The water below begins to bubble and within a short space of time heaps of sand begin piling up around the branches of the Palm Tree. After many heaps are formed, Arugba again calls to him and advises him to drop the hen down. The hen sets to work scattering the heaps and after a large area of ground is spread Arugba calls to him to set the chameleon free to test the solidity of the earth. This Orunmila does and the chameleon walks on the earth proving its firmness.

Note – Orunmila is then the first Divinity on the earth. The Palm Tree is considered the first creation. It has its roots in heaven and is respected by all Divinities. It is the root of their genealogy. All Divinities spread out from the Palm Tree to establish their homes in different parts of the earth.

The Beginning of Conflict on Earth

Orunmila, being the youngest of all the Divinities stayed with and served all of his more senior brethren which were Ogun – the Divinity of Engineering; Sango – the Spirit of Lightening; Olokun – Spirit of the Bottom of the Ocean.

The presence of Arugba as the only woman created many problems for the Divinities. They fought over her and it brought out the worst in them. There was confusion and this led to acrimony. Orunmila left earth to return to heaven to complain to Olodumare. Olodumare sends Elenini or Obstacle to earth to verify Orunmila’s story. This he does.

The Return of the Divinities to Heaven

After Orunmila’s departure, the Divinities refused to co-operate with each other. “Life became intolerable as there was no medium for commercial exchange”. (This point puzzled me until I realised that Orunmila provided service amongst the Divinities and with him gone, an agency or mechanism for service was required, hence money.)

The Divinities go back to heaven and ask God for money to do business with each other, Ase or Divine authority with which they could cause things to happen and for mortal servants. God grants their wishes.

When God sent money into the world, Orunmila was the only Divinity to “conquer” it. His older brothers were envious and resorted to open aggression to destroy him.

There was complete pandemonium on earth over the sharing of money and news got back to Heaven about the commotion. God dispatches Death to bring back the perpetrators, but He only succeeds in removing the followers of the Divinities.

Olodumare then sent Elenini into the world to “come and finish them up”. He was given the instruction to bring all the Divinities back to Heaven. He starts with the most senior of Divinities, Ogun, and turns him into a leaf and does the same with all the other Divinities. Then finally he comes to Orunmila.

Orunmila through divination is told about a powerful visitor and he prepares a huge feast and procession for Elenini. On his arrival, Elenini is feted and he is moved by the hospitality. He comments that if all the Divinities were as magnanimous as Orunmila, earth would be a wonderful place.

He gives the bag containing all the Divinities to Orunmila and proclaimed that from then on he was to have authority over all of them. As soon as Orunmila freed them they went back to their old ways. News of these atrocities reached Heaven and Oludumare decides to personally intervene. Orunmila is told in a dream that he and his followers are to climb up the sacred Palm Tree to

Heaven. As soon as this was done Oludumare released the dike holding rain in the sky and the ensuing downpour of rain flooded and consumed the world. So ended the first attempt to establish life on earth.

This Ifa account of creation though differing in detail from the creation myths with which we may be more familiar, i.e., Genesis, or Norse and Greek mythology, has enough points of principle that are identical:

One of the Divinities who did not figure prominently in the first attempt to establish life on earth but to whom all Divinities pay allegiance is Esu. Esu’s role is to test man’s sincerity. He reports regularly to Olodumare on the deeds of Divinities and mankind and is a good friend of Orunmila. Esu is the bringer of retribution and has power of Life and Death over humans and can cause calamity to Divinities who do not acknowledge him and offer sacrifice.

So, you probably don’t care, but your rant about computers all sucking came up as “in my orbit” because I follow a lot of computer science blogs. The people tumblr is most likely to show your anti Computer Scientist rant to, is computer scientists.

Yeah I was pretty cranky when I wrote that. My quest to read everything Andrew Hussie ever wrote dumped me into a 1700 word article of his where he kvetches about Apple and a trip to Macworld in 2006. The first half is maybe the most infantile, exhausting, shitty thing he ever wrote. Worse than the HIC/Hitler thing, worse than Stoner Lou, worse than the racist chicken - it’s just one part boring to one part childish. It wasn’t until I was talking to @rahkshirock about it that I realized he was throwing an honest-to-god Karkat tantrum for a thousand words, ripping Apple to shreds in really lazy and strangely hostile ways. (Podcasts. He goes on and on about how horrible the very idea of a podcast is. It’s almost comically petulant.)So I got so sick of his shit and I vented about it to Tumblr then went back to the article. At which point he had, of course, calmed the fuck down and the second half makes some really good and valuable critiques about problems Apple actually had/has - but that first section was so specious and exhausting I just kind of lost it.I’ve been bitter about computers ever since my university days. There are, broadly speaking, two types of CS students: those who graduate knowing nothing about computers save that the devil machines are not to be trusted, and those who graduated knowing everything about computers and who feel that they (the student) should be worshipped because they posses the secret digital mysteries that lesser mortals are not gifted enough to be able to comprehend. (It’s a neurodevelopmental disorder that falls under a diagnostic umbrella called STEM-Up-Their-Ass Syndromes. It kills tens of thousands of promising personalities every year, and there is currently no cure.)The former type tends to live off the grid in shacks on mountains and occasionally posts some fragment of code via phone phreaking that is an incredible thing of beauty and will improve society as a whole, or else they, like Jonathan Gillette, know that computer literacy is the only way civilization can save itself from predatory tech companies and they do their best to teach some crumb of their wisdom to the common people before they go mad from the strain of oracular vision and vanish from the mortal plain. (Jonathan Gillette is the only reason I can get anything to run under wine. Though I retain essentially zero working knowledge of Ruby I feel his spirit forever at my back urging me onwards to at least try so as not to disappoint my pet ham).The other kind of CS student is among the worst specimens of humanity this side of Peter Thiel: they retain a deep sense of resentment because they were oppressed for their religious beliefs (Early-Day Conservative Weeabooism) in high school, think having a natural facility with math places them highly in a caste system of their own fevered imaginings, and are forbidden by their religion from applying deodorant because mortification of the flesh is a way to show their devotion to their church’s martyred founder. They were in constant competition with the economics students for ‘conversation I am most willing to chew my own arm off in order to escape’ and are a good reason why I advocate for Misdemeanor Douchebaggery statues in institutions of higher learning across the continent.The first type of CS student will help you with your tech problems, never shame you for your hardware or the hows and whys of why you own it, will listen to your woes, and survived their CS program without murdering their fellow students - which probably qualifies them for sainthood. They often, but not exclusively, identify as female, tend to have a wicked sense of humour, and can usually debone and serve a sexist male like a Wimbledon Champion in under fifteen seconds.There is also supposedly a third kind of CS student, the so-called ‘ordinary person’ who is said to have graduated without making an ass of themselves at a party, runs the servers at their local insurance company, lives in a suburb, and finds The Big Bang Theory funny. I have never met such a person and have come to believe they are a myth created by car companies as the ideal buyer persona for mid-range sedans.Anyways since university I have approached computers and their advocates with great suspicion and mistrust. The last decade of rising technocratic malevolence has really only proven the correctness of my position: you’d have thought that weebs would have known better than to not only build a soulless android but also allow it to attend Harvard, but the Objectifying Women protocols were so wearingly on-brand that the apocalyptic hubris of the Zuckerborg Project isn’t all that surprising.Anyways, computers suck, and anyone who wants to make you feel inferior for using one kind of computer over another kind of computer is the sort of person who will try and convince you that there’s a meaningful moral distinction between Gatorade and Powerade. Also Andrew Hussie has, or at least had, a bee up his ass about podcasts that made him sound like an iPod-fixated Alex Jones and his rant on the subject is very hard to sit through.This probably didn’t answer your question, if you had a question, but I’m sure it created a lot of questions, which is all you can really expect from me.

JESUS READING REVELATION

AND SO, DISCIPLE JOHN WEPT, in eternity. He wept because there was no one in all eternity who could read the book that God kept Himself. He kept a book that neither Angel nor man could read, Rev.5:1-4. This was not a book that any man has ever had any knowledge of; because, this book remained with God. It was a book that no man knew existed. Until in heaven, John saw it and saw that no one could read it and right now, at this very hour it remains true that no angel or man can read that book. They can only see it and see it being read and understand what is being read. And so, John stopped weeping in eternity when he found out Jesus could read the book, furthermore, Jesus reading the book holds true to Jesus reading Revelation. All because John wrote what he saw has Jesus made this possible. It is not that anyone can read Revelation with complete understanding It is that God has done a marvelous and wonderful thing that anyone can see. We can see and understand Jesus reading Revelation because John wrote what he saw as Jesus opened the book and read it on the Thrown.

A closer look at Jesus reading the book, via Rev.5:5-6:1. We are learning about prophecy from Revelation. Revelation is in fact the same reading from the book that God gave Jesus on the Throne. What confuses many is that like the book on the Throne that only Jesus could read so is Revelation but many don’t read the prophecy like Jesus don’t have the same understanding as Jesus reading it does. We can see Him reading it and know and understand Revelation by way of the visions of Jesus that are in Revelation that John wrote. Jesus called Disciple John into eternity for that purpose, to communicate what he saw Jesus doing. John gave us a prophecy that only Jesus can read.

How does Jesus read Revelation prophecy? Jesus gave us instructions to see Him read Revelation. Revelation 22:16, I Jesus have sent mine Angel to testify unto you these things in the churches, I am the root and offspring of David and the bright and morning star. By His instructions, we need to understand what we see Him reading. When we see Him as the root of David reading and as the offspring of David reading and as His Angel the bright and morning star reading, we are to understand from Him what He is reading. That is the crux of this vivid prophecy.

These Three Divine Visions give us of Him reading Revelation. John wrote in his introduction to Revelation three divine visions of Jesus that Jesus referred to as Himself testifying or reading the book on the throne that only He could read. However, John’s contexts consist of everything Jesus did in eternity before He came into the world and after. We the elect of Jesus are Evangelized because John passed on Jesus prophecy to His elect from heaven. The Jesus that John know both ways, on earth and in Heaven, is now for His elect to know both ways. Before getting into the three divine visions I want to note that we the elect have adapted an eternal emotion in our spiritual conscience that is separated apart from our physical conscience. Because now we know Jesus both ways. We can feel and experience that adoption of eternal emotions. Disciple John felt this while he was in life somewhere, seeing something unbecoming of the spiritual life part of us. Jesus had caused a captivating eternal transfer of emotions. They feel strange but sure, powerful but captivating, the consciousness of perfectly still quietness of living eternal peace and a consciousness where everything is alive.

When John came back to himself, on his feet, he wrote from memory what he had heard and saw with Jesus. John’s contexts consist of everything Jesus did in all scriptures and in heaven. Jesus was crucified and went to heaven where He brought John up spiritually to show us, we who are the elect, what Jesus released from heaven. The Jesus that John knew both ways, on earth and in Heaven gave us to know Him both ways. When John came back to himself, he wrote from memory what he had heard and saw when he was in heaven with Jesus. But we often read Rev.1:4-11, like John, was writing it down while he was in heaven as if he came out of captivity wrote something and then back into the vision; No, he does not do that, he writes The Revelation of Jesus from memory. He remembered, visions inside of visions, that overshadowed his life; he became a prophetical evangelist from heaven, by way of Jesus. Beginning with Revelation chapter one verse one; John wrote what Jesus is teaching us from heaven.

When John wrote verse four; John to the seven churches which are in Asia, he did not come out of eternity to write letters to churches of his own past. We want to keep our mind on spiritual things. The teaching that Jesus gives in the seven churches; including what is meant by “write to the churches” Jesus heavenly teachings did not come from heaven to carry us into our past, they came from our past to carry us into our future; into all futures, offering the same spiritual repentance that He had provided for the seven churches which is another way of saying His church in heaven offered repentance to the old traditional churches of the past before Jesus can into the world.

Do we think that John came out of eternal captivity to literally write letters to seven churches on earth rather than to write about the church in Heaven to the elect? Like they say IT IS WRITTEN Jesus told John to write about the seven churches. We need to understand what Jesus is teaching about that and not what we are teaching our selves. John only wrote the book of Revelation not letters to seven churches. He wrote about each church in the seven spirits of Jesus and what they offer. This eternal phrase is a cant idiom spoken by Jesus in the church that Jesus built Himself.

John has the ears to hear eternal sounds from a volume not normally possible to hear. He is empowered to see eternal things with everlasting eyes. John remains true to everything he hears and sees the whole time Jesus has him in eternal lock-down. He does not break out of captivity throughout the whole time. People may think so because people misplace eternal emotions for human emotions, they apply human emotions where human emotions does not exist; but I am reading eternal emotions for you, hoping we better understand what John wrote. I am attempting to provide the eternal emotions because I understand what John felt while in eternity, a place where flesh and blood life is nonexistent.

Writing supernatural things inspired by Jesus, John did not write no sights and sounds made by man. John remembered three main visions of Jesus and described them as he saw them, not knowing how they would be key to Jesus reading Revelation. They are vital to comprehending Revelation because the bible is very clear that no angel no one anyplace can read the book of Revelation; howbeit from the book on the Throne. We read Revelation ourselves except Jesus reads us through the three visions of Jesus read us through Revelation. We understand what Revelation is really saying from three visions

The first vision Rev, 1:13, And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the chest with a golden stripe. This is Jesus, that John knows, wearing heavenly clothes as Priest. Jesus is teaching us eternal insights first of all by being dressed as High Priest, teaching us about the church He built in heaven and why His seven spirits represent seven churches, in the days before He came to earth. He brought the old testament Law churches into His church in heaven to receive the promises of God. In the New Testament John, the Baptist even said he needed to be baptized by Jesus for this repentance that Jesus is giving to those under the Law in His church He built in Heaven and Jesus said to John the Baptist then, I know but suffer it to happen right now for the elect’s repentance and in that way, we will fulfill all righteousness. That first vision is Jesus being the root of David.

The second vision of Jesus as the offspring of David; Rev. 5:6, And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a lamb as if it had been slain, in that vision Jesus is teaching us that after He died to provide repentance in His church, to David’s church promise that held a reward for the offspring should the church succeed and for that Jesus receives the everlasting throne in Heaven. This concludes the root and offspring of David promises God made concerning everlasting life and David’s offspring established on an everlasting Throne. But the second vision of Jesus do not stop reading Revelation there. Also, the second vision of Jesus as the slain Lamb shows Jesus has seven eyes and seven horns because these things John saw will be Jesus reading the book on the Throne via seven seals and teaching us more about the seven trumpets and so Jesus is dressed with seven eyes and seven horns. The seven eyes will read the seven seals, and after the seven seals the seven horns will read the seven trumpets from this book that God kept that only Jesus can read and only by those visions of Jesus can Jesus read Revelation.

The third vision that Jesus is reading from is at Rev. 10: 1-7, And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud; and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire. And he had in his hand a little book opened: and he set his right foot upon the sea and his left foot on the earth. And the book of Revelation is taken from the book on the Throne. By the third vision of Jesus Angel He is teaching/reading about the unfamiliarity of timelessness life where time don’t matter and where eternal life is lived. The woman in chapter twelve; she is symbolic of us receiving this life from the Book of Revelation. She is dressed in the heavenly clothes for timelessness: stars, moon, sun, etc. like Jesus in the third vision as the bright and morning star, to introduce eternal life in Revelation. Her clothes match His teaching that our eternal life is timelessness. We cannot reference these teachings by other than what Jesus is reading, because this ministry is given to the elect sake at the end time. However, Jesus tells the story of Revelation with her example.

All three visions of Jesus can be referenced by Rev. 22:16, I Jesus have sent my angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and offspring of David. And the bright and morning star. That sums up John’s introduction of Revelation for now and my introduction of only Jesus can read Revelation and you can only read Revelation through Jesus.

Again, the book of Revelation reveals what Jesus read from the book God created just for Jesus to read. Those precepts are aligned in the scriptures that read only Jesus can read Revelation. Jesus gift to us “Revelation” is aligned with the book God gave Him. And I tell you in the spirit of Daniel the Prophet; Go thy way, Daniel! The words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified. And made white, and tried, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand. We never considered all that went into producing the book of Revelation. Never did we think that Revelation is something Jesus has to read. We benefit much more from Jesus reading Revelation which is God’s will than reading it our self. That is why I will show how Jesus is reading Revelation because the time is now.

For the first time we may be considering something that demands only Jesus can read Revelation. Although scripture is very clear about the book on the throne, there might be some hold outs on it also applying to Revelation. Scriptures were never written in chapters and verses and they were never meant to be read that away, but the Popes inserted chapters and verses in scripters to keep Catholicism secrets. All our life we have read scriptures with in those chapter and verse restraints. They were not written that way think about it. We all thought that chain referencing enhanced our knowledge of God but it only enhances the knowledge men manipulate and control. In eternal life we will not reference the Word by chapter and verse but by spirit to spirit to spirit of God. But we say we must use chapters now for the visions and for building upon scriptural precepts, to make clear the mind of God. More than that we need to have in our heart to know God as our life through spirit through the gift of God through the unadulterated mind of God.

The visions of Jesus in the book of Revelation are the way Jesus will read Revelation. The visions of Jesus take the part of chapter and verse, they are the focusing concepts and precepts references, they are the visions of Jesus that John saw. Revelation aligns with the visions and precepts in the mind of God. Scripture other than Revelation pertains to the spirit of God on earth, Revelation pertains to the spirit of God on earth and in heaven and throughout eternal life; but only Jesus can read us there. Don’t you know the book of Revelation is about restoring man’s eternal life, guarded by Jesus the only way back into eternity. Adam lost his eternal life because he ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil and he eternally died spiritually. Now Jesus guards the tree of knowledge of good and evil by being the only one that can open the book and read the knowledge of good and evil in the mind of God.

By John writing what he saw allows Jesus to show man what He read. John provide the panoramic view and Jesus provide the participant observer view for our comprehension. Disciple John wrote exactly what he saw within all the roles that Jesus played. Only come let us look really close at eternal life in heaven. The very thing that he saw about Jesus, is the same thing from what only He could have read from the sealed book God wrote for Jesus. John could not write about nor understand anything in the book Jesus was reading. John only could write what he heard and saw through Jesus.

Therefore, our one eternal spirit can visit eternity now by faith. We are now involved in eternal lifestyles that came from the book that God gave Jesus on the Throne. Not just from the book of Revelation but also from the witness of Disciple John that Jesus called into eternity to witness these eternal life things. We are not worthy brothers and sisters but we are lifted up. Jesus gives us in Revelations the pathway to be where He is; Moreover, have faith in what Jesus look like, his heavenly clothes. How He dressed for the purpose of reading what was in the sealed book? How scripture spiritually agree. He saw from the book God gave Him compared to what He read in Revelation; those builds can zoom “in high definition” on all scriptures. They can remove all doubters from things that seem right to man.

You will read here how Jesus is reading Revelation and how scriptures zoom in on eternal things that Jesus is reading spiritually. There are still people on earth who do not completely understand one half of the book of Revelation; but I hope it will not be that way after they hear from this book; because, it is leading them into Jesus reading Revelation. Some read Revelation feeling distant and disconnected from the same eternal life that is theirs. There are too many faithful believers misunderstanding the prophecy in Revelation. But all misunderstanding stops right now just like that, because it is written that no man can read Revelation other than Jesus, so consequently the fact that man cannot read Revelation is understood as to why. Blessed be John who wrote what he saw and Jesus who read to us.

So many Scalars had written Commentaries on the book of Revelation, and so many Theologians did write theological diocese, about their theories on revelation; and they all stagger, stutter and fall short misunderstanding eternal citizenship in heaven, our royal eternal life, and our Holy Mysteries. Not even do they comprehend Revelation prophecies well, they can’t really literate or explain what they propose to have read. They think they can read and understand Revelation and Revelation 5:4, says a man cannot. So, they got people really confused with many different opinions, and fragmented scriptures, too many theories that are unexplained. All that! confusion stops right now. The LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like “one” of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever "-Once more again Jesus reads Revelation within the visions of himself. It is not a chapter and verse method.

Three main visions of Jesus reading Revelation are revisited at Revelation 22:16: I Jesus have sent my angel to testify to you these things in the churches. One, I am the root. Two, I am the offspring of David. Three, I am the bright and morning-star. These are the three visions of Jesus reading for you from the visions Disciple John saw. Again, look at the context representing the visions and what in eternity is He doing? Look at His heavenly clothes, think about what they mean what context of character is He. His clothes are made out of acts of his character in eternity. His clothes add the concepts of His readings. His statements and prophetic visions are not of this world and still further expound His readings. He makes, our eyes see what they are not capable of seeing for the purpose of giving us knowledge and understanding of our own eternal life. His readings our faith causes heavenly visitations.

Jesus as the root of David begins the reading; from chapter one through chapter five, then Jesus as an offspring of David takes over where the root left off, up to chapter ten at the sounding of the seventh trumpet. Where the third vision of Jesus reads from there. At the conclusion of the third vision of Jesus reading, as the bright and morning star, and reading about the women in heaven, the sign, and wonder that appeared in heaven, chapter twelve. I should conclude because you will have witnessed Jesus reading revelation through half the book of revelation.

The Jesus In Revelation,

From the book God gave Jesus on the throne comes Jesus reading Revelation for us. This rendition of it hacks away at the timelessness in heaven and violating clear through eternal atmosphere arising at some of the most royal eternal atmospheric places, in view of a bright pure holy radiant light of God. With your spiritual consciousness look closely, focus on this holy Journey in eternal life truths that Jesus brings to you from the throne. Simply by faith, you see things. We journey from beyond the Throne into the Kingdom of Heaven while on earth. You are given the undisclosed mysteries of God. The eternal pathways that angels travel is the same that you travel.

PRE-PRAYER FLASH Hagar the maid servant of Sarai misbehaved because she has become pregnant for Abram...and her mistress became harsh on her, her mistress showed her that a superior person can make one miss his/her way (ẹnito junilọ le juni nu)... So she fled from her presence. While in the wilderness suffering came...but God sent His Angel to her...

"Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? And shall Sarah, that is ninety years old bear? " (Genesis 17:17)

PRE-PRAYER NUGGETS

Earlier on in the course of the discussions between God and Abram, He told him that he would be bearing a new name which He name him Himself. This new name would give room for other good things to come to Abram's life... And he was named Abraham. God also has a new name for each and everyone of us, and this new name would only be bore by us if and only if we have come to the knowledge of God. The knowledge of God comes via us knowing the Lord Jesus Christ. Knowing Jesus Christ is of paramount importance in life we want new things to come into our lives and above all if we want to inherit the kingdom of God. I presumably assume that you also have it in mind getting back to God after this world, then, you need to know that the key to inheriting that kingdom is you accepting Jesus Christ into your life now...

To do that, you need to know yourself a sinner, repent of these sins, confess those sins to God through Jesus Christ and ask God to make your life His dwelling place.... 1. I receive grace of constant communication with you as from now on in Jesus Christ name,

2. You God who sees the most hidden part of the hearts of men, come and satisfy my heart desires in Jesus Christ name,

3. What I don't think would happen to me positively, make it (them) happen to me in Jesus Christ name, 4. Let me acquire what I think by the virtue of my age I can never acquire again in life in Jesus Christ name,

5. The impossible questions of my heart oh Lord answer them to the letters in Jesus Christ name,

6. Obstacles to my acquiring (getting) blessings from you should be removed in Jesus Christ name,

7. Let me receive a promise that would make me matter to my generation in Jesus Christ name,

8. Etc

PRAYER "And he lift up his eyes and looked and lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground" (Genesis 18:12)

PRE-PRAYER OUTLOOK The incidents recorded in this chapter by prophet Moses were essentially crucial, for those incidents marked what permanently changed Patriarch Abraham's life and ministry... And of course showed us what God meant when he said He would destroy the world by fire. Abraham was neither expecting visitors nor knew those people he ran to meet before then, but because it has been his manner to accommodate visitors, his spirit was again stirred that day to welcome those men. The welcomed men happened to bless him and his household in return, giving him undeniable sign of what shall happen to him. (Hebrew 13) You and I also need to know how to welcome people, our level of hospitality needs to change from its present state to a level higher. Although the world at the moment is perverse such that one could not be certain of people, for some may deceptively seek for assistance just to injure the helper... So as not to become a victim of such, that is why the Lord promised us Holy Ghost. This Holy Ghost would not just enter anyone's life, the Holy Ghost would enter the lives of those who have become His'. The works of the Holy Ghost amongst others is guiding believers, instructing believers on what and what not to do. By this He would prevent believers from becoming a victim to liars and dubious people. Having this Holy Ghost requires man to come to Christ and after coming to Christ Jesus, God would release this Holy Ghost into the believers lives. Do you wish to be saved from doubtful and dubious people parading themselves as good people? Then you need Holy Ghost to do that...

1. Oh Lord, let me see beyond ordinary... Let me see beyond the physical in Jesus Christ name,

2. I refuse to be spiritually blind in Jesus Christ name,

3. Give me the spirit of hospitality in Jesus name,

4. Increase my level of hospitality in Jesus name,

5. Everything that is preventing me from assisting others be destroyed in Jesus Christ name

6. Heal me of the nasty experiences I had assisting others in Jesus Christ name,

7. I refuse to miss the angels you send to me in Jesus Christ name, 8. Etc

PRAYER "And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the Lord being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city" (Genesis 19:16)

PRE-PRAYER WORDS Millenia back, it is on record that a town existed called Sodom and Gommorrha. The inhabitants of these towns increasingly became sinful before the Lord God... So many reasons may have led to this, one of which readily come to mind is delay by God to execute judgment on some people, known sinful people... Because of this, the people who were initially doing right too joined those who were doing evil... On and on and the number of people doing right in these towns decrease drastically until it was near zero percentage of the two towns population. Today, something akin to this is also happening, because when people people see that those who are doing evil are those making it, so many people in the present dispensation also joined those doing evil to do evil. You and I may have fall into this category, but, God is not expecting that from us, He wants us to correct the seen anomalies, he does not want us to join the multitude to do evil. However, we need to know that everyone of us has fallen short of God's glory to meet up with God's set mark or standard, we have to come to the Lord Jesus Christ, repent of our sins accept the Lord as our Saviour. When we do this, we shall measure up to the standard of God.

1. Every demons of sluggishness get out of my life in Jesus Christ name, 2. Send your angels to rescue my family and I out of our present situation in Jesus Christ name, 3.! Every thing tying me down should be broken or destroyed in Jesus Christ name, 4. Oh Lord shower your mercy on my family and I in Jesus Christ name 5. Let your angels set my family and I on a safe place in Jesus Christ name, 6. Let your angels take me out of danger zones in Jesus Christ name 7. Let your angels blindfold my enemies in Jesus Christ name, 8. Send your angels to rain fire on my enemies in Jesus Christ name, 9. Etc

PRAYER

"But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him behold thou art but a dead man for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife" (Genesis 20:3)

PRE-PRAYER KNUCKLE Many of the so called dreams that we dream today (I mean in this dispensation) can they be said to actually originated from God as those dreamt by these Patriarchs' of old? I said this because many of our so called dreams, visions, revelations, prophecies etc do NOT COME TO PASS despite the fact that we usually allege that they originate from God.

The bible says, let every man be a liar, and He, God, be true... and at another place of the bible, we read that His (God's) word be yea and amen. In other words, God's words will come to pass, that is the yea and amen there. But today, if we say yea and amen to any of the supposedly dreamt dreams etc we will only discover that we have erred and we ought to have say "no and nay" to such dreams or revelations.

The ipso facto would thus reveal to us that the kind of interaction that existed in the olden days between the Patriarchs of old could not be said to bbe in existence during this dispensation of ours despite the fact that we have books of the religious laws and have laid claim to have more knowledge, understanding etc that those who had lived earlier. Yet, our interaction with the Lord can only be said to be shalow...

The most professed or assumed Holy person in this dispensation does not experience or enjoy something like this, receiving his/her dreams directly from God...

This is why today we see so many people go into error when they lay claim to a certain dream that they have had.... Some actually backslided when they lay claim to certain dream etc that a certain "prophet or seer" has received for them but which does not come to pass.

Another thing of note in this chapter is that Abimelech was not a friend of God as Abraham nor Lot was, but yet He received directly from the Lord. He had God's hot-line.

This should mean that irrespective of whom we are, God knows us and loves to have relationship or interaction with us as a person, an individual entity.

The route for God to have interaction with you and I in this dispensation is via you and I coming to Know Jesus Christ. Thus, I wish to ask you that have you known Christ Jesus?

If you are yet to know Him, the time is now for you to know him... Come as you are, repent of your sins, confess your sins, forsake them all and ask God to make your heart His dwelling place as from thenceforth. Knowing Him will bring you and I into inntimate relationship with God.

As someone who has known the Lord, may we ask ourselves that why are our dreams today not originating from God, but yet we will claim that they originate from God.

Let us say these words of Prayer: 1. I want to be enjoying your presence on a daily basis on my life and on everything I do in Jesus name,

2. Every pollution and polutants in my dream be removed now in Jesus name,

3. The grace to decipher God's originated dreams from others' give me now in Jesus name,

4. Visit in your anger anyone who unlawfully has my properties or belongings in his or her possessions in Jesus name,

5. Let your mark be on my bbelongings or properties in Jesus name,

6. Retrieve for me all my properties/belongings (living and non-living) in the hands of the enemies/poweful people in Jesus name,

7. Let me know where I have erred oh Lord in Jesus name,

8. The grace to correct/make ammendments give me now in Jesus name,

9. Correct me in your Love oh Lord in Jesus name,

10. Etc

PRAYER "And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me" (Genesis 21:6)

PRE-PRAYER MAGNIFICATION Both major worldly religions have something written about Abraham and Sarah. In their write ups they do not deny the fact that this couple had to wait for decades before they got an issue. Christianity's main focus on the couple's waiting started post-emigration of this couple from Haran where they had been living with their parents. This focus essentialy stemmed out of the fact that, that was when God made a promise with the man, Abram, as such the counting of the duration of his (their) waiting started post-emigration from Haran.

Those of us who have been studying bible documentations wil notice that prior to this emigration, the bible had recorded that "Sarai was barren" (Genesis 11:30)

Naturally, medically & Biblically before a woman can be called barren, such a woman would have been married with un-interupted sexual intercourse for nothing less than 5 years. During these years, this couple had been trusting gods of the land of Haran to perform wonders in their lives. It would not be an understatement saying that Abram's father before his death would have proffer some solutions to them, as being directed by their gods or priests of the land then because he wanted to see his grand-children.

All these and yet others from other quarters were done but all to no avail.

The possiblity of this is hinged on the fact that they were basically yet to meet with Jehoval Elohim then.

After these attempts failed, and may be during the course of other attempts, God met with Abram & decided to call him.

For all we know, it may even be that it was the search to get an issue of the womb for the family that brought Abram in contact with Jehovah Elohim.

We all know that nothing happens by accident, something would stir the coming to God of Abram, thus, saying the barreness of the family was the enzyme or catalyst that facilitated such reaction to occur may not be an under-statement.

Having tried the major gods of the land of Haran for solution but failing thereby, Abram met with God who asked him to drop, to leave those ways he had been trekking and He would surprise him.

In ensuring that he be completely free of those ways, God took another step and asked Abram to leave his family, land and kindred to an unknown land (Genesis 12:1).

By now and from this, we would see that God said what He said because:

1. He does not want Abram to return to his earlier position/vomit,

2. He wants him far and delivered from temptations,

3. He wants him free of mockers and mockery because if he stayed around with them he would constantly be mocked,

4. He wants to groom him,

5. He wants him to have genuine knowledge about what he had been called into,

6. At the new land, people would not be able to talk about the history of his life unlike if he stays back at Haran,

7. Etc.

Again, God possibly did not tell him about the land He was leading him to because:

(i) If He had done that he would likely tell one or more of his kindred,

(ii) One of the people he will tell would one day try to trace him out,

(iii) One of his close friends too may one day go in search of him,

(iv) Etc.

These factors were probably considered by God, as such He decided against notifying him ahead for I assume we know that God knew afore time that He was leading him to Canaan land because the bible says He knows the beginning from the ending.

May I say that it is something that brought you and I to Jesus Christ too, something catalysed our salvation, ordinarily, no man wants to leave sin, this is becaise sin is appealing...

As our salvation has been catalysed by something, God may perhaps have been laying it in your hearts after you have been saved to leave something or to do one or two things. However, you are yet to yield to what has been laid in your heart. My advice is that you try and do that.

From this story, we will again discover that it is usually not easy waiting or looking unto God for something for years, but irrespective of that, God still expects you and I to wait as this family had waited until their victory appeared.

If you are yet to know God, as Abram and Sarai before they knew God, God is using what you are experiencing to call or draw you to Hisself. What you should do is do not resist this pull, yield yourself unto Him, God, as Abram did and you will see the changes as did Abram in which essentially assisted him in staying with the Lord.

What you are passing through is being used by God to draw you to Him Accept Jesus Christ now and all shall be well.

Shall we offer some prayers?

1. Give me a word of victory oh Lord in Jesus name,

2. Make my victory obvious to all in Jesus name,

3. Let people felicitate with me in Jesus name,

4. Take away my shame & reproach in Jesus name, 5. The good thing that everyone 6. Let what happen to me increas others reliance & dependance on you, 7. Etc

PRAYER

"And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son" (Genesis 22:16)

PRE-PRAYER TABLOID The history line here is not obscure to people (many a one)..., how God tried his friend, patriarch Abraham, to offer unto Him his one and only son. What God required of him to do was not denied God, as He took the bold step of faith to offer his son unto God.

(Before I continue I have to say that after this, God does not ask for human sacrifices again from anyone and that is why it is a great and grave offence for anyone to sacrifice or shed blood of man again... The highest human sacrifice has been done in the person of Jesus Christ.)

Apostle Paul had to talk about the taken step of Abraham the friend of God of all times that he believed God cannot lie (unto him) this is because God had abinitio made promises or say covenant with him that the same child he would sacrifice in him, Isaac, would the covenant He is making with him be fulfilled, be established, but never in the son that the slave lass had given birth unto for him. (Hebrews 11:17-19)

This statement was uttered by God unto Patriarch Abraham before this trial. This thus gave father Abraham an uncommon faith that if God could ask himm to kill his son, offer his son as a sacrifice, it then means that He, God, will bring him back to life after he might have slaughtered him, Isaac, because He, God, cannot lie and since He had not uttered any contrary words from the ones earlier spoken, it means, He wants to raise the child back to life after doing what He had asked him to do...

Then resurrection was uncommon, this thence show Father Abraham's uncommon faith, un-paralleled faith in Elohim.

His demonstrated faith was suigeneris and the God who knows and reads the intents of all inhabitants of the earth's hearts saw that father Abraham's thoughts were balanced by his actions, thus he decided to step-up in His interactions with father Abraham by swearing before him. It was as if God was placed in the court of law or something and was asked to swear. In other words, father Abraham's thoughts and actions cornered the Lord, placed the Lord in an oath taken box and He swore before and with father Abraham...

PRAYER POINTS: 1. Oh Lord, increase my knowledge of you in Jesus name,

2. Oh Lord, What I will do that will give me uncommon breakthroughs in life, help me to do those things in Jesus name,

3. What I will do that will launch me into uncommon covenant with you, help me to do it in Jesus name,

4. Everything that I am with-holding from you which I ought to have surrendered (or given) to you, oh Lord, help me to release them unto you in Jesus name,

5. Give me victory over the flesh oh Lord in Jesus name,

6. Etc

PRAYER

"And Sarah was an hundred and seven and twenty years old: these were the years of the life of Sarah" (Genesis 23:1)

PRE-PRAYER INFORMATION We often times become surprised these days seeing someone as old as this as if it is never achievable again, but the bible in no where specify that achieving such age as this is not possible. We quote several verses and books of the bible to show that we are actually nay ready for longetivity, yet we will quote and recite (off hand) Psalms 91 where God says that He will satisfy those who dwelt in His shadow with long life and peace. We negate God's promises even by the same God's word. Little wonder that many people in this dispensation do not live long again.

God has not said, the technological developments and other scientific innovations would shorten our life span but the followings bring about reduction in our life span: 1. Unbelief: Many of us are unbelieving believers, we do not see possibility in any thing and if a certain celebrated/popular minister has spoken we just take it as if we come to the world the same time, as if we can not read the scriptures ourselves,

2. Negative words that we usually speak to our lives, particularly so when we are passing through some hard times,

3. Negative thoughts: This also is directly related to passing through troubles/problems... The troubles and problems that have defied all known remedies, which go on year after year. Because of the longetivity of the problems we start to have negative thoughts, about ourselves, our future and of course start wishing that it is better we even die that the suffering is much as if God is deaf, blind and has embarked on a trip as such does not see what we are passing through. When such negative thoughts become subsuming then we start having health failures with the manifestations of all forms of diseases known and unknown, treatable and untreatable and what would be the outcome? Death.

4. Failure to give ourselves rest: Do you know it is possible for someone to sleep but his/her spirit (soul) not be resting? So, the rest I am talking about here is when one actually gives his/her soul rest. This is only achievable when we take all aspirations off our hearts: ambitions to become Doctor/Professor/Marriage/ Having Children/President/Governor/ Richest person on the planet etc. All these are good, but when we want to rest, we must take those things off our hearts and that is when we can actually be said to be resting. In this part of the world we do not value recreation like those who are living in the advanced clime and we need it, for sound health and longetivity,

5. Obeying your Husband: This is perhaps lacking in many of our women today all because of education. But, me suppossedly assume that education ought to make our women wiser than those who are nay, but over the times this has not been so. Mother Sarah listened, obeyed her love till her death, little wonder she lived long. (Note and this is why we often admonish the singles that a man you think you cannot obey, do not marry him, irrespective of whatever is leading you to go into relationship with the person because when you start living together it would even be more difficult for you to obey him)

6. Etc.

PRAYER POINTS: 1. HELP me to fulfil destiny in life, in Jesus name,

2. Oh Lord let me live a fulfilled life on earth in Jesus name,

3. Oh Lord, let my days on earth always proclaim the Gospel in Jesus name,

4. Oh Lord, I refuse to die prematurely in Jesus name,

5. Oh Lord, the Power that gave mother Sarah victory at her old age, let that power envelope me now in Jesus name,

6. Oh Lord, the Power that gave mother Sarah victory at old age let that power give me victory in Jesus name (may be this prayer is for old persons alone I cannot say, but I can equally say the prayer can work for the young ones too),

7. Oh Lord, redeem all my un-accounted for years for me in Jesus name (or say, Oh Lord, redeem all my wasted years for me in Jesus name),

8. Oh Lord according to your word that says you are going to give your people long life and peace, satisfy me with your peace and Long life in Jesus name,

9. Oh Lord, things I am doing that is silently sending me to my early grave, help me to stop those things in Jesus name,

10. Etc

PRAYER

"AND he said, O Lord God of my master Abraham, I pray thee send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham" (Genesis 24:12)

PRE-PRAYER KNUCKLE It is no gain saying re-iterating here in that some people are designed to serve some people, and in doing that they shall prosper. This we do not like in this part of the world and that is why there are so many chaos. The Yoruba fathers used to say, "ọwọ́ ọmọdé kò to pẹpẹ, bẹna ni ti àgbàlagbà ko wọ akeregbe" (translation "as a baby's hand cannot reach the roof so does the adults hand cannot enter the guord"). What I want to infer by this is that everyone has a place in life. That night guard that you belittle has his importance, that road sweeper that you think her enemies has successfully altered her destiny has her importance... May I be pardoned to say that some of our uncles, brothers etc who travelled overseas what do we know that they are doing there? Some are doing more horrible works than those we under-valued here, but because the founding fathers of those advanced climes valued every discipline, our uncles, friends, brothers find it easy to make it there without being rubbished.

The inhabitants of the Northern part of Nigeria also do not see anything wrong in someone being this or that, but this could not be said of those of us in the south-western part of the nation, that is why we see several spiritual attacks, we see people dying young, due to enemies attacks, because we envy those who are our leaders and would want to assume such position at all cost even when we are not talented to occupy such exalted position...

This man, was satisfied being a worker of father Abraham, he never envied him, he never said he wants to go and establish his ministry, he never attempted to murder father Abraham, and little wonder God blessed him.

I also have to say that father Abraham also do not belittle this man, he was according to him and his family what was needful at all times. Our leaders also need to inbibe this in them, they ought to value or count those followers of theirs' as somebody, as people and we will see them giving us their bests.

SOME PRAYER POINTS: 1. Oh Lord, Distance me from those leaders who have no vision/view of tomorrow in Jesus name,

2. Oh Lord, connect me with leaders that have visions of the future in Jesus name,

3. The power that helped my leader (or mentor) to succeed, let that power overwhelm me now in Jesus name.

Note: You may want to say that you neither have a leader nor a mentor, that is a possibility because of the ways and manners some people are behaving these days. Albeit, I want to tell you that you can make JESUS CHRIST your mentor and leader. If you are however yet to make Him your leader, I am counselling you through this medium to make Him your leader and mentor. If you can make Him your leader, mentor and Lord, you will have no reservations whatsoever to cry aloud that:

Oh Lord, the power that makes Jesus to suceed on earth overwhelm me now in Jesus name so that I will also succeed in my eadeavours on earth in Jesus name,

4. The power that makes Jesus a success on earth begin to work for me in Jesus name,

5. Give me clear visions of tomorrow oh Lord in Jesus name,

6. Give me clear visions of myself oh Lord in Jesus name,

7. The Living Bible translations says of the c part of this verse that, "make things go smoothly", therefore you and I will say this loud and clear,

Oh Lord, make everything go smoothly with me in life in Jesus name,

8. Oh Lord, the Power that makes things go smoothly with people, bless me with that power now in Jesus name,

9. On this planet called earth oh Lord, show me your kindness in Jesus name,

10. Oh Lord, let me enjoy your kindness in my remaining days on earth in Jesus name,

11. Etc.

PRAYER

"But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country" (Genesis 25:6)

PRE-PRAYER FOCI It shall do us good to remember that father Abraham had to relunctantly yield to the pressure mounted on him by mother Sarah due to God's intervention and send packing Hagar and her son, who (was) is also father Abraham's first son, naturally speaking.

Mother Sarah died @ age 127 and we shall also not forget that father Abraham was approximately 10 years older than mother Sarah, thus, when mother Sarah died, father Abraham would be 137 years old.

After mother Sarah's burial, perhaps 6 or more months after, father Abraham took another woman to wife called Keturah. This young woman also gave birth to children as well as other women father Abraham was involved with after the demise of mother Sarah.

As we can see the incident that followed the death of mother Sarah, some of us who have come of age have discovered that when a woman (wife) died before her hubby it is always not easy for the man, particularly those practising monogamy.

Although, greater percentage of the children of the woman, in monogamy families would not want their fathers to take up another woman (women) because of some reasons an example of which is, if the woman gives birth to children now, trouble will arose in the family etc.

But, I have come to understanding that some of those children (who would not want their father to re-marry) are not being realistic.

It is true that some after they lose their wives may not take up another woman in marriage again, but the we need to know that it is not everyone that has such gift, just as it is when we are youths. Some may live up to 35, 45, 50 years without knowing a man or woman, being virgin before they get married but some cannot live up to that age before their "instruments" start to make them uneasy, as such get married early. In fact for some, if it is not that God has said we should multiply and replenish the earth, they would never have gotten married at all...it is a gift, not everyone has it.

Just as it is applicable to the youths, or marrying at different times and ages, so is it applicable during old age too when a man losses his heart-throb. This does not mean that the man does not love the woman nor his children, but the truth be said, the children play different roles in the lives of parents from someone who will be close to the man.

In addition, we would not forget that while it is very much easier for a woman to be visiting her children or even children's children, that may not be too easy for men as such the option to take up another woman.

In this technology driven age, we will notice that hardly do one finds a child who will be living with their parents after coming of age and most importantly after marriage. Some will talk about getting a house-maid for the man and all what not, how many house-helps can anyone get for his father that Father Abraham did not have? In fact those he trained himself, in other words those who had known his likes and dislikes were numerous, but yet he took other women.

Another point we will see is despite the fact that Isaac was living with him, overseeing his assets, he yet married other women, and we do not have records of Isaac's antagonisms nor behaving unruly to his father.

Are you having difficulties accepting this for your father who has lost his love, your mum? I think you should have a re-thinking today...no one prays to lose his love but when it happens life must continue and to prevent another immediate death, this may be necessary for the man.

SOME PRAYER POINTS: 1. OH Lord, give me the grace to settle my family before I die in Jesus name,

2. I shall not lose my covenanted child in Jesus name,

3. I shall not endanger the lives of my covenanted child(ren) in Jesus name,

4. The blessings I need to take care of my family, father give me in Jesus name,

5. Give me understanding children in Jesus name,

6. I shall not do what will destroy my lineage in Jesus name,

7. The grace to accept my father's decision or step for his longetivity give me in Jesus name,

8. The required wisdom to control my family give me in Jesus name,

9. I shall not be the cause of my father's sudden death in Jesus name,

10. Etc

PRAYER

"Sojourn in this land and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father" (Genesis 26:3)

PRE-PRAYER TABLOID All bible students know that God was the one speaking here and his speech was directed to patriarch Isaac.

We will equally not forget that the incidents that preceeded this utterance was not too good as such father Isaac wanted to move out of where he was, he wanted to go for a greener pasture.

All plans have been in place then God spoke to the man, his friend's son.

Just as we know how our bowels move for our friends' children when we come across anyone of them, with that eyes view what has transpired between The Elohim here and father Isaac.

In fact for some of us, even when we see anyone that is very close to our friend, may be his/her niece, nephews, cousins, siblings, we would go out of our ways to start assisting such a one because of the love, interest etc we have for our friend/s. If we can do this for a close person how much more will we do more for the person's child/ren if she or he has any when we come across them?

We will not forget that that was what king David wanted to do for Hanun the son of the late king of Ammon in second Samuel 10.

Based on the above ipso-facto we shall see and understand better what the Jehovah Jireh was up to when He was talking to Prophet Isaac here.

Another thing we shall understand from this before our prayers is that, apart from the fact that Father Isaac was the son of God's friend, Abraham, he (Isaac) himself has developed friendhsip with Jehovah Jireh. Explaining this using Yoruba proverb "A bi Isaaki, Isaaki nã tún tún arã rẹ̀ bí" (translation: "Isaac had a re-birth despite the fact that he had been begotten (by Abraham")).

It was because patriarch Isaac had had a re-birth, not relenting on the experiences of his father with God alone, but ensuring that he also had a personal relationship with Elohim, that was why it became easy for God to speak to him. You will see that such did not happen between king David and the son of his friend (II Samuel 10).

This should now arose our individual minds' as a person that it is not enough to be a pastor/prophet/prophetess etc son/daughter but we need to also have personnal relationship with this God. If you and I have not gotten a relationship with God, we are not doing well we therefore need to ensure that we get a personnal relationship with Him today.

Having a relationship with God is not difficult at all. All that is required of us are: 1. Know ourselves a sinner, 2. Repent of our sins, 3. Confess our sins to God, 4. Determination not to go back into those sins again, 5. Ask Jesus to come into our lives, 6. Start studying the bible and 7. Practising the bible.

When and if we can do these, we would be communed with by God, we will hear Him speak to us, give us instructions on what to do and what we ought nay to do.

May the Lord help your decision in Jesus name. Amen.

PRE-PRAYER WORDS When children come of age and are ready to (choose) take up someone in marriage, so many forces (seen and unseen) come into play. At such times, children need: patience, good counsellors and counsellings, prayers amongst other things to successfully scale through that hurdle.

Since our fore-fathers error, we all know that the world is under the influence of the wicked ones, thus the forces that actually want men (us) to fail are at our disposal and finger tips than those that want our success.

For those who have knowledge of the word of God, we would say, "nay, nay, nay, pastor, the forces that want us to succeed are at our disposal than those that want us to fail". But if we would be more realistic and factual, we will know that it is because of our knowledge of the scriptures that makes us say that, but in an actual sense, literarily speaking, the forces antagonising our successes in life are more than the agonist forces supporting our successes.

Having said, this, we will know that, the steps taken and or untaken at this juncture when a man/woman wants to get his/her fiance/fiancee is verily important and this would determine to a larger estent the person's journey in life, the person's relationship with God (may be there shall be any relationship at all or there wont be again), their parents continuous mood (joy/sadness) afterwards on them.

The question we may likely ask ourselves is that are we giving our children who has come of age the necessary counsellings not to miss it in life? Are we praying for them?

PRE-PRAYER UNDERSTANDING The parents of Jacob; Isaac and Rebecca, called the son who could control his instrument, they called Jacob who was not in a haste to mamrry, I hope we remember that Jacob and Esau were twins, begotten the same day by the same mother and father. They were though unlikely to be identical twins because of their "phenotypical" description by prophet Moses, the writer of the book of Genesis.

Why did I bring it out that they were twins? I so did because I want us to know that when some people have the grace/gift (as apostle Paul puts it in 1st Corinthians 7:7) to control their instrument (sex organ and sexual desires) some are not so gifted. And because some are not as such gifted that does not make them sinners, promiscuous or all what not, as some may want to think/infer.

These twins: Esau and Jacob, show this difference and their lifestyle invariably tell us that we should learn to appreciate and accept individual differences as presented in individual persons we encounter on the planet...

Some may decide to marry at age 15 (after all some religionsists say a child that has clocked 12 years has known her/her left hand from his/her right and that is why they conduct baptism for person as from age 12 basing it on what happened in Luke chapter 2. (Lk. 2:42) They based this baptism on the fact that such a child could decide whether she/he wants to serve Jesus Christ or not as it happened that Jesus waited behind in the temple.

Many Medical personnels may not approve this, neither do I support marrying at this age too, but the truth is that it is happening here and there. No one could actually say the actual age of mother Sarah when she married Abraham. It was not documented. What we only know was when he, Abraham, left his father's place, but they had long been married before this emmigration from Haran, in fact by biblical documentation Abraham and Sarah had been married before Terah's emigration fromm Ur of the Chaldees.

In other words Sarah married early because early marriage for ladies were in vogue then, their marriages do not stop them from performing their duties...(Genesis 11:29-31)

What I am saying is some may marry early while others may not, it is bc of the difference in the fifts possess by individdduals and we should learn to accept that and live with it.

Their parents called Jacob and sent him away... He obeyed and left.

While on his journey, he had to put up at a place, resting and while resting the Lord appeared unto him and had words with him.

God valued to a great extent children's obedience to their parents, and most especially when such parents are Godly parents it is a double honour.

For those who are yet to be saved, we are ostentatiously disobeying our heavenly father, and except we obey our heavenly father, we may not make appreciable progress in life.

Aint you going to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour now? I, in strong terms, implore you to do that because tomorrow may be too late.

"And Leah conceived, and bare a son, and she called his name Reuben: for she said, surely the Lord hath looked upon my affliction: now therefore my husband will love me" (Genesis 29:32)

PRE-PRAYER BUTTON We often think and say that it was only mama Rachel who was barren, but this may not be totally true considering the biblical documentations.

In the bible documentation, we know that father Jacob had to confront Pa. Laban the father of his wife for not dealing right with him by giving him mama Leah instead of mama Rachel that he loved most and had laboured for.

Pa. Laban had to tell Jacob to work for another seven (7) years to get the woman she loved and desired. The deal was made and sealed, thus Jacob started working.

But we all know that when he started working for his in-law, the bible did not say that he sent Leah out of his house nor that Leah moved out during those period. During those periods, we equally know that he, Jacob did not stop to have sexual intercourse with the woman.

If the above is true, therefore, according to the experts, Gynaecologists, an un-interupted coitus for seven whole years without pregnancy is considered an infertility.

This thence means that Leah too was barren for 7 years and some months.

Albeit, when the Lord sees that Jacob and Rachel did not Love Leah, He, God, decided to discipline Rachel as such He shut her womb and opened Leah's womb.

May be God decided to shut Leah's womb for 7 years and some months to show Jacob that He heard and acknowledged his desire, but when Jacob after his wedding to Rachel failed to recognise that it was God's hands that forbade Leah from taking in, he decided to discipline both of them.

You may also be there having delays in taking-in, becoming pregnant, this may be happening to you because of the hatred you have for that sister/brother.

Jacob and Rachel's hatred for Leah brought barreness on Rachel.

We will all agree with me that anybody that one hates one would not speak well of him/her, one would not interract well with him/her, one would be speaking evil of him/her in the secret, one would be making jest of him/her in the secret, one would never see the person's good and or strong sides, one would only be seeing the person's negative and weak sides... This may have been what was happening in the family of Jacob after taken in Rachel as wife.

These incidents spurred God to act the way He acted, shut Rachel's womb.

Shall we pause here to ruminate on the delay/s in taking in that you are passing through? Could it be because of your hatred for sister/brother Q? May be they were the ones who anta-gonised you marrying that brother/sister. May be they have done you an evil/another. May be she was the one who brought about the separation between you and your first love, and you have hated him/her ever since then till death. May be seers and prophets have tagged her/him your enemies? Or may be you have even dreamt dreams showing that they are your enemies. May be your parents/Guardians have told you that some people are your enemies, the family's enemies and should be distanced from etc?

Whatever the source of the hatred is, from this recorded incident to Rachel, don't you think you need to stop hating the person? (Genesis 29:31)

I think you need to stop hating the person. The bible also records that no hatred would inherit the kingdom of Heaven.

Hating someone, apart from being the likely cause of delay on our paths, it will as well debar us from inheriting the kingdom of God. Dont you want to get to heaven? I know you want to be there, therefore, I, in strong terms implore you to stop hating the person and act as normal to him/her.

We however should not mistake this for stopping to pray against all hinderances and enemies, but in praying against enemies one is expected not to have anyone in mind, the Lord who knows all things know how to deal with them.

For you who are yet to be saved, it is easy for you to hate because you are yet of the devil. What is needful of you at the moment is accepting Jesus as your Saviour and Lord, doing this will make Jesus to wash your hearts clean with His blood and hating another person would no longer be easy. PRAYER POINTS: 1. Oh Lord, look upon my affliction today in Jesus name,

3. Forgive me the sins of hatred I have committed in Jesus name,

PRE-PRAYER NUGGETS The writer of the book of Hebrews said, "it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God" (Hebrews 10:31)

When Jacob and Rachel decided not to treat Leah the first wife and Rachel's elder sister well, they did not know that that was how it would play out, they did not know that God would attach importance to it. When God did attach importance to it, He dealt with them such that the duo's love was even threatened.

When they came to their senses and changed, committing their estate to prayers, God afterwards hearkened unto their prayers.

We also least know that what we were doing afore time would turn out the way it turned out for us, but despite the fact that it turned out the way it did, God through this is saying it is not too late for you and I. God wants us to retrace our steps and change. After we might have changed, God requires of us to commit our lives to prayer, commit those things that have gone awry to prayer and as he answered Rachel He promises to answer us too.

Do not think it is too late for you, in as much as you have your breathe in you, it is not too late.

It is not too late to be saved, are you yet dilly-dallying with the matter of salvation? I sincerely beg you not to belittle this important matter again. Repent of your sins now and give your life to Jesus Christ and start doing his wills and all shall be well with you.

The World: continents of the Brightlands of Qymar

The names of the continents represented by the digital maps are those recognized by one of the most prominent institutions of knowledge and learning in Qymar: the Hightower of Vir. Being that Vir is a part of the Rose Lands, the continents are named according to their locations relative to the Rose Lands. Each continent has its own name and history however, and these titles are not commonly used by the peoples of the lands that are less beholden to the Hightower. Here are the Virish and native names of each continent, as well as a brief introduction to them.

The Rose Lands

The smallest of the five continents, the Rose Lands are a largely coastal place full of life and fertile ground. The winds of the Abyssal Sea and the protection of the black mountains to the north have kept The Rose Lands a beautiful and populous place. The continent is separated into a few different regions: Ilium, Araman, Messai, and the Virish Isles. Ilium is the largest, a coastal land of fertile fields and vibrant societies. Ilium was once home to a number of different peoples and civilizations, but now nearly all of the region has been conquered by the Empire of Rayne, their only remaining rival in the region being the Republic of Kretia. The ancient peoples of the Rose Lands were called the Rosens. The Rosens combined cultural influence from many places such as Vandar and the Great East to become a powerful people that spread their own influence to many places in the world via brutal colonization, largely northward and westward. Nearly every culture in the Rose Lands speaks Ethyrian after having been either conquered or allied with Ethyros.

The Southern Sands (Sol’aat)

The Southern Sands is an often isolated continent in the south of the abyssal sea. Historically, it was one of the last lands to be populated by humanity, but managed to rise to incredible heights of civilization quickly. After the monolith was destroyed in the first conflict between the escaped Silence and the Unwaking, the vast deserts of Solair were formed and soon after people began to migrate there from the east. The remaining Silence hid themselves in the mountainous remains of the monolith as the migrant people’s gradually made the arid lands their home. The whispers of the great power that used to dwell on that continent and the small bits of exposure the ancient people had with the Silence and eventually the Unwaking ones who returned informed their culture greatly, making for the basis of their religion, language, and tradition. Outside Solair, there are Lands of Fire and the Broken Lands. Both of these places are largely uninhabited, the Land of Fire being a desolate place to the west of the continent where flames are said to fall like rain. The Broken Lands are a fractured expanse of harsh land criss crossed vigorously by rapid streams and deltas that flow into the Sea of Shadows.

The Wester Islands (Oessa)

The wester islands have long been separated from most of Qymar. Across the wide Sea of Cyclade they formed their own ecosystems of politics and trade until the the great Ethyrian empire was forged between two of its own islands, and then spread out and conquered the 5 continents. Legends say that long ago all of the wester islands were a single great land, with enormous forests covering nearly all of the land. In these days the mythic changelings lived in the west and prayed to the living gods and nature spirits of the trees and the mountains. Eventually humans came from the east and settled in the mountains of the western coast. These people became known as the Oessai. They formed great civilizations on the peaks of the western mountains and on the slopes of tyranus Mont where the forests were thinnest, and battled with the Changelings for more resources and land, a conflict during which is said to have caused the rift of the great island into 6. The struggles continued for hundreds of years until a pact of peace was made between the two peoples. Not long after that pact, the Rosens invaded and swept over the islands. Most cultures to be found on the most populous islands of Gilleon, Triton, and Cyclade were made majority Rosen. The west has many unique cultural features due to its mixed upbringing. One defining trait is the concept of mastership. The wester islands do not have kings or emperors, instead they have Masters. The Masters hold rule over their entire island, but they must be prepared to defend it. Any master can be challenged for control of the island, what this challenge is differs. On gilleon it is one on one combat. On Triton it is a ship battle on the high seas, and on Numor it is said to be a trial of wits.

The Northern Reaches (Urun)

The north has always been known as a harsh land. Technically the same landmass as the Rose Lands, separated by the mountains of Messai and the hills of Tarseus. The Reaches begin as green hills, rocky shores, and tall forests in the lands of Faron and Othorn, but as one goes further and further north and enters the White Reach, the land turns harsher and colder. The first people to populate the North were known as the Urunoi. They formed great tribes and built towns and strongholds of wood and stone from which they oft waged war on each other for control of the scarce fertile lands and natural resources of the Reaches. Such times continued until the invasion of the Vandari. The Vandari knights swept through the comparatively unorganized and primitively equipped Urunoi and claimed nearly all of the North for Vandar. The Vandari brought notions of knighthood, nobility, and monarchy to Urun, the former name of the joint lands making up modern Faron and Othorn. They also brought their religion, the worship of the Five-that-are-one, often simply known as the Faith of the Five. It was only a few generations later that Vandar began its fall into obscurity, and the Vandari nobles who had been sent to rule the Reaches in the name of their king began ruling in their own names. The cultures and blood of the Urunoi and the Vandari mixed and mingled over the years, and eventually a unique concoction became apparent that would be known as the Northrons. The Messaians would later invade the lands of the North on the backs of their mighty dragons and carve out much of the continent for themselves, only to lose it all when the Ethyrians came, led by emperor Nargil. Virtually all of the Northern Reaches became territory of the Ethyrian Empire until it’s collapse, after which the Northrons would name their first unified king, only to have a conflict of ascension called “the Strife of the Princes” split the land into the two Reaches of Faron and Othorn that exist today, with the White Reach and the Isle of Dale being less disputed due to their harsh environments and relative seclusion.

The Great East (Naryes)

It is said across the world, “all things began in the east”. Largest of the continents in land mass, the Great East holds the oldest civilizations and cultures anywhere in the Brightlands. Most scholars agree that humanity first appeared in the east, indeed even in myth the legendary Bright Empire was founded and based out of the Great East. A number of nations have risen and fallen in the east, but those that exist today have stood the test of time. With such a large land, there is no shortage of variety to be found in the geography of the east. There are vast plains, dense forests, the great swamp of Myar, the sunny coasts of Yokai and the windy Bay of Dragons at Zhihui. There are the rain battered lands of Indras and the evercalm waters of the inland Sunless Sea. When the Ethyrians made their way to the East, they encountered the greatest resistance they would ever face. Parts of the the plains of Kublai Khor were taken, but they constantly shifted in and out of Ethyrian control, and Ethyros never broke the borders of the mighty Zhihuineese empire and could not weather the storms of Indras. As such the nations of the East share less with many other places in the world as they never had to adopt much Ethyrian culture. There are many in the east who speak no Ethyrian at all, a rarity in much of the world, and ancient religions that outdated Ethyros still manage to thrive. One of the biggest reasons for their ability to resist “the greatest empire in history” was a great pact made across the continent to maintain stability and peace against forces both internal and external, an unprecedented form of international cooperation the likes of which the world has never seen. Even the common name for the continent, Naryes, was chosen by the leaders of the nations who signed the pact, taken from the word for “mother” in the oldest recorded language in the continet, that of Old Boros. Seers do not often get called to serve the rulers of the East, as many prefer to call upon the scholars of the legendary five shrines of Zhihui, and why would an eastern lord bother with a foreign mercenary company or assassins league when they can find the Thousand Arms of Yokai or the Shadow Weavers of Myar. The Great East is a part of the wider world, engaging in trade and politics from all over, but it is also a world all unto itself.

And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.15And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed judgment and justice unto all his people.16And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder;17And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests; and Seraiah was the scribe;18And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over both the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David’s sons were chief rulers. 2 Sam.8:1-18

21And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.22And Solomon’s provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,23Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowl.24For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.25And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon. 1 Kings.4:21-25

1Chronicles Chapter 19 1Now it came to pass after this, that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon died, and his son reigned in his stead.2And David said, I will shew kindness unto Hanun the son of Nahash, because his father shewed kindness to me. And David sent messengers to comfort him concerning his father. So the servants of David came into the land of the children of Ammon to Hanun, to comfort him.3But the princes of the children of Ammon said to Hanun, Thinkest thou that David doth honour thy father, that he hath sent comforters unto thee? are not his servants come unto thee for to search, and to overthrow, and to spy out the land?4Wherefore Hanun took David’s servants, and shaved them, and cut off their garments in the midst hard by their buttocks, and sent them away.5Then there went certain, and told David how the men were served. And he sent to meet them: for the men were greatly ashamed. And the king said, Tarry at Jericho until your beards be grown, and then return.6And when the children of Ammon saw that they had made themselves odious to David, Hanun and the children of Ammon sent a thousand talents of silver to hire them chariots and horsemen out of Mesopotamia, and out of Syriamaachah, and out of Zobah.7So they hired thirty and two thousand chariots, and the king of Maachah and his people; who came and pitched before Medeba. And the children of Ammon gathered themselves together from their cities, and came to battle.8And when David heard of it, he sent Joab, and all the host of the mighty men.9And the children of Ammon came out, and put the battle in array before the gate of the city: and the kings that were come were by themselves in the field.10Now when Joab saw that the battle was set against him before and behind, he chose out of all the choice of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians.11And the rest of the people he delivered unto the hand of Abishai his brother, and they set themselves in array against the children of Ammon.12And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me: but if the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will help thee.13Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our God: and let the LORD do that which is good in his sight.14So Joab and the people that were with him drew nigh before the Syrians unto the battle; and they fled before him.15And when the children of Ammon saw that the Syrians were fled, they likewise fled before Abishai his brother, and entered into the city. Then Joab came to Jerusalem.16And when the Syrians saw that they were put to the worse before Israel, they sent messengers, and drew forth the Syrians that were beyond the river: and Shophach the captain of the host of Hadarezer went before them.17And it was told David; and he gathered all Israel, and passed over Jordan, and came upon them, and set the battle in array against them. So when David had put the battle in array against the Syrians, they fought with him.18But the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew of the Syrians seven thousand men which fought in chariots, and forty thousand footmen, and killed Shophach the captain of the host.19And when the servants of Hadarezer saw that they were put to the worse before Israel, they made peace with David, and became his servants: neither would the Syrians help the children of Ammon any more. 1 Chron.19:1-19
