There's a position I saw in a job listing that has me annoyed because they want a registered dietitian with a license, a master's degree, all the letters, yet the position is "nutritionist". Is that a joke or are they being serious? Like I hate to be a snob, but there is a difference between registered dietitian and a nutritionist. We can be called registered dietitian nutritionist. That is one of the credentials and it's interchangeable with registered dietitian. But nutritionist by itself is not the same. An RDN/RD has a bachelor's degree in human nutrition, they may have a master's degree, and starting next year, it will be required, and they go through a dietetic internship or a program equivalent in order to sit for the registration exam. We can also prescribe meal plans. A nutritionist doesn't do all of that. They can have a bachelor's degree, but without the credentials and license, they are not an RDN. A nutritionist cannot call themselves an RDN. RDNs are nutritionists, but the credential/title is registered dietitian nutritionist. Like it just makes me mad. You're asking for all these things that RDNs have, but you're not calling the position Registered dietitian nutritionist? Jerk.

I NEED to talk about the stupid ass names that were given for the Miraculous Paris Special in English. Like ya know I can get behind Claw Noir, and Shadybug's not bad (I like Toxinelle more but that's a whole other thing) but then we have the cheesiest name for good Gabe with cussing Betterfly.

The idea of there being a hero version of Gabriel "The Idiotic Asshole" Agreste is already a living joke but then you tack on freakin Betterfly and I just- I'm sorry I can't even think about that without laughing my ass off, like it's just sooooooo dumb.

I know that the French version is Hesperia which (according to the wiki) is either a type of butterfly or could mean "to trust" but it's DEFINITELY more suitable than Betterfly.

But No Thing it sounds similar to Vesperia AND it sounds like a girl's name!!

Ya, ya, ya, I know. I'm not saying they should've gone with that but practically anything would've been better (hehe) than Betterfly.

Is it okay to consider your f/o your irl partner? My f/o means so much to me and I really mean it whenever I call him my husband. Is that weird?

No, I certainly don't think that's weird at all, personally! Some people can get very attached to their F/Os, you've probably heard the "Your brains emotional department can't tell the difference between fictional and real, so when you love something, regaurdless of if it's fictional or not it's just as strong" tangent.

But like I said, some people get really close to their F/Os, and so it can be a very real thing for them and a very personal thing, too!! Some people don't want real life romantic partners and just want to pursue their F/Os and that's entirely okay as well. Truthfully I tend to feel the same way about my F/Os, and I'll speak of them as if they're real(ex. "Me and F/O did this today" or "F/O and I blah blah blah"). Some people get uncomfortable when seeing shipart or such of their F/O and makes them feel sick cause it feels like they're seeing their partner with someone else or such.

Get as close as you'd like, consider them a full fledged partner if you wish! My rule of thumb for life is if it's not hurting anyone, then why care? I don't see any harm in this. Get as close and personal as you'd like with your F/O. I'm sure everyone's been told the story of that man that married Hatsune Miku, so really go crazy.

I'd say the only cause of concern would be if you start filling out your tax forms or something with their names on it. But go crazy. Live your life, have fun, kiss your F/O when they go to bed and when they wake up, put their pictures in your wallet and frame their photos on your desk and in your lockets.

I mean, that's what selfshipping is, no? Shipping you with them, F/O stands for Fictional Other, it's right there in the name. They're your significant other(excluding the times where F/O encompasses platonic/familial ones of course). Many people ship characters and talk about how it's sooooo canonical cause did you see how they looked at each other in that one frame?? This is just you shipping yourself with an F/O, same thing. As far as I know and as I've been informed, I don't see a problem here with it.

Does anyone know of a way to force a memory limit on Firefox for Android?

All of the methods I've seen are only for desktop (mobile doesn't have about:config) or people saying that you should leave the memory management to the OS (clearly not helpful) or people complaining about slowness or storage space or browser crashes (irrelevant, clogging up search results) or confusing ram with internal storage (who even decided to call internal storage memory in the first place??? As if RAM didn't already mean random access MEMORY).

I'm getting sick of Firefox suddenly using up all of the RAM and causing my entire phone to hard crash and reboot 😭 (not just a tab or browser crash).

My phone's fairly old (I've gotta upgrade soon due to the 3g shutoff and lack of VOLTE support) but that's still a while away and it's only Firefox that's causing this to happen, everything else runs fine (plus I'd still like to use this thing even when I upgrade!). Can't mess about in root until I upgrade because this era of phone punishes you if you do (and I don't want to break something in there and be out of a phone for several months! Again!)
