okay but i NEED to go on abt cal in survivor and the scenes specifically where he's shown to lash out in anger after cere's death

the build up the TENSION the more his rage grows and takes hold of him. at first he starts off calm, mostly, he's collected enough to act rationally until denvik tells him how bode worked under his orders. THAT is when the anger he's been keeping under control until this point slips. he goes from disbelief, shock to anger in seconds. his mind is such a mess of emotions all tangled within his grief that is a miracle he managed to last so long without letting his rage slip through earlier (ofc there was the inital fight with bode on jedah but)

the way his anger increases and with it we see him act in a way he never has before. its small, its subtle enough but he lashes out with the use of the dark side. not as grand as cere's display of it when she momentarily snapped (flashback in fallen order) but its his moment nonetheless. like during this very moment, he's starting to become consumed enough in his rage and resentment towards denvik for causing all this that it's all that clouds his mind.

the way after he knocks denvik unconsious with a sudden force of power, the shake of his head he does and the shift in his expression, its such a vivid expression we see him shake off the anger induced trance he was in and recover himself again. its something which happens again, when he lashes out at denvik after bode escapes (i cant provide the clip but here are some screencaps)

its just. all of it. there's so many neat details regarding how cal starts losing himself in all his rage, grief and pain and his obsession, just as he feared happening and that he's actively still fighting against it and im obsessed with how its all displayed.
