It's currently the night of the 24th of September for us, which means we're officially celebrating two holidays for the system: 2-year anniversary since we fully figured out and accepted we have DID and our co-host & persecutor-caretaker's birthday.

Our first tracked switch happened on the 23rd at 11pm, and full acceptance of having DID came during the night of the 24th. It's been a long path, and not gonna lie, for the most part, it's been filled with not-so-pleasant events. But we've grown since that night into not just one better person but multiple.

Happy birthday to our co-host & persecutor-caretaker, who is currently in co-consciousness but too sleepy to talk or move or do anything about today. Although that doesn't stop their family from both our system and our partner system to smother them with affection and congratulations. May they have the best in life, which they claim to already have (/pos), be happy, and achieve whatever goals they've set.

Here's to the new year, hoping it goes better than the previous years and our efforts to make it easier and happier were worth it. And in hopes of not losing our spirit no matter what happens.
