“have you thought about it much?”

“having kids?”

miguel pauses for a moment to think, his mind bouncing between the countless, varying scenarios he’s pictured many times.

of course, making the baby. you’ve both played around with the idea of it in bed, nothing more than heated dirty talk and fantasy since you’re on birth control, but in the moment it feels intense and real.

but there are other, more wishful things he thinks about. coming home to you bouncing a chubby baby on your hip, picking out names and clothes, family photo albums with a lock of soft hair and a tiny ink footprint, holding your hand when you both find out the sex, cradling the baby to his chest as you sleep. all the crying and messes and exhaustion, but being with you through it all makes it sound doable.

when he indulges in thoughts of making a family with you, miguel hopes the baby would be the best parts of the two of you but, most of all, he wants the baby to have your eyes.

miguel tilts his chin down to look at you, your cheek squished onto his arm gives you an expression cute enough for him to easily admit, “a little.”

he traces your jaw with one finger, mapping your chin before doubling back upwards to follow your hairline. idly touching with no intent other than to remind himself that you’re not going anywhere.

“me too,” you hum.

“really?” miguel can’t help the surprise that colors his voice.

“yea,” you laugh, but its soft, a gentle tease, “i wanna give us the life we deserve.”

miguel makes a noise in the back of his throat, suddenly choked up. he can tell you know, but you don’t press with anything more than a kiss to his chest. it takes a minute for him to break the silence again.

“you snore, you know.”

“what?”

miguel has to stifle a chuckle at your indignant tone, lips tugging into a lopsided smile, “very loudly, might i add.”

“you—!”

you yank the pillow out from below his head before he can stop you, swinging your leg over his hip to straddle him and whack him with your new weapon. he takes your wrists after a few hits, smiling up at you as you laugh, pillow falling by the wayside.

“you snore too, jerk.”

“i know, querida.”

“well,” you wiggle out of his grip to find your spot beside him again with a pleased look on your face, “let’s hope that skips a generation.”

miguel curls his arm around you and kisses the top of your head, “yea, let’s hope.”

Hi!!!

I thought I'd actually come on and introduce myself since I've been using this blog for a little while :)

My name is Caity and I'm 19, this is my sideblog for pretty much anything superhero-related (both Marvel and DC). My main blog is @profdrac so that is where all my likes and follows are going to come from :)

I've been a big fan of DC and Marvel for a while now but I am just now getting into comics so if anyone has any recs please drop them

My blog will be SFW for the most part and anything that might not be will be tagged (although I don't plan on posting anything that isn't)

Also here are my controversial opinions as a little icebreaker and a little context for like any of my posts (they are all mostly joking and lighthearted lol)

Superman is better than Batman

Honey-Senpai from OHSHC could solo Batman

the "Magneto can touch Rogue" argument should be invalid when arguing Romy vs Rogueneto

If you dropped the X-Men in the DC universe they could probably beat the Justice League

Gotham Knights (the game) is over-hated it's genuinely so fun

ok so first of all Be Honest by Jorja Smith and Burna Boy absolutely slaps, and you should check out there individual music as well.

A Kiss by The Driver Era gives major summer montage vibes.

Jet Black by Anderson. Paak is my ultimate favourite song, gets me in the feels fr.

Sexy Drug by Falling in Reverse is a bop too and a good one for screaming your lungs out to.

If you’re feeling frustrated at a situationship or something I’d recommend Slow Reply by Who Is Jack (formerly known as Jack Britten) or Friendly Sex by Caity Baiser (I think that’s how you spell it)

Vegas by Doja Cat has some absolute BARS and so does Go Crazy by Young Thug

Just read another merthur fic that made me fully insane, so time for my weekly fic rec.

Best use of Galahad in a bbc merlin fic I’ve ever read, also just best pull from arthuriana ever, I won’t spoil it but if you’re familiar with the Arthurian canon you may know of a very important piece of King Arthur’s legendary accoutrement that never made it into the show, well this fic makes the most brilliant use of that piece of the legend, I may never recover from it.

Also the characterization goes crazy, even Uther and Kilgharrah’s characterization is incredibly good and oh my GOD the merthur resolution in this is nuts. I wish it was like four times the length honestly. SO very good, the only problem is that it ends at all.

33k, E, contains side Morgwen and temporary Merlin/OMC with the endgame Merthur payoff of the century.

Hm hm hm......... my list isn't really that long either and everything is old af so it's likely you've seen it all before, but...

Were you able to read Play Away by @/saturnsorbitsnsorbits? It's cheating related, but has a happy ending if that's something you're looking for (and don't read the epilogue if you want Bakugo ending). I also really enjoyed Before Number One by them, too (although the angst is pretty... mild).

One fic that I come back to a lot, too... is this one, Third Wheel... it's actually a Kiribaku x Reader pre-established relationship, but OH GOD truly gets me sad heated asf LMFAO!!! w/ a happy ending to make it all worth it though, ofc LOL.

And... the prequel is @kingkatsuki's Ensnared (which, TW for noncon), but someone wrote a really yummy, angsty sequel on Ao3 that I used to read like... once a week (even without the first part)... so maybe try that? I really like all this author's work (I think they're the person who made me fall for Bakugo first)... but this one especially is nice, as well (which is angsty and soft)!

And if you haven't already, there's @saintshigaraki's The Sun Has Not Yet Fallen... and this one by @/burnedbyshouto which I haven't read but... I do like their writing... OMG AND ORANGE LAMBORGHINI which has a sequel... and a prequel TOO (though... is unfinished sadly)!!! And I've heard many a good things about this one, by our beloved Christine, as well!!!
