I really like the idea of them, and considering the balance of power and the political landscape, it's (almost) the only ship that makes sense in the empress ending.

I'm weak for arranged marriages growing into a genuine, committed partnership, and if you add scheming and politics into the mix, I'm going feral. So, yeah. I like them quite a bit. 😄 The only thing I'd add is that for arranged marriages for Ciri specifically, I prefer them to be open arrangements, and this ship is no exception. Freedom is key for her, I'd like her to keep some of it.

Cahir/Milva

I'm a hopeless Cahir/Ciri shipper, so I don't really see Cahir/Milva as romantic couple. Deep friendship, definitely. Platonic love, for sure. Romantic - I'm not seeing that.

Having said that, I've adopted many a ship because a story blew my mind and open my eyes to the possibilities, so if the right story comes along and shows me an angle I've never considered, I can definitely be convinced. After all, I've jumped onto Cahir/Yen train for a moment there because of their stupid chemistry in those few scenes that I watched and a few excellent writers. 😆

once again crying about the fact that the witcher straight up ends with dandelion being the last one of geralt's hanza left alive (or still in their sphere, depending on your interpretation of the ending, but either way, separated nonetheless). like can you fucking imagine. you're a poet, travelling with three warriors and a higher vampire and a literal child, in a war torn land. by all means, the warriors, the vampire, and the delinquent should outlive you. but they don't. you're the last one left. you, who couldn't fight. you, who were just human. you, who'd already lived so many years. can you fucking imagine the survivor's guilt.
