2025: another year I didn't manage to draw hourly comic. But that day, I drew a lot of people waiting in queue for the Vinland exhibition at Angouleme. Then I waited in another, even longer queue for the Witchhat atelier exhibition, so I got a chance to draw more people and a local beggar. (+two pages of sketches from Paris Est train station, waiting for the train home ♥ )

That's excactly how the words were exchanged in that chapter in the Lady of the Lake. Yeah, the charcter on the left is Fringilla, on the right Hansa sans Geralt with Jaskier/Dandelion.

once again crying about the fact that the witcher straight up ends with dandelion being the last one of geralt's hanza left alive (or still in their sphere, depending on your interpretation of the ending, but either way, separated nonetheless). like can you fucking imagine. you're a poet, travelling with three warriors and a higher vampire and a literal child, in a war torn land. by all means, the warriors, the vampire, and the delinquent should outlive you. but they don't. you're the last one left. you, who couldn't fight. you, who were just human. you, who'd already lived so many years. can you fucking imagine the survivor's guilt.

I naively thought that I could start listening to the Witcher audiobooks again without any consequences. Oh, how wrong I was. I don't think I'm even sorry...

The Coles wallpaper in the main bedroom was especially designed and printed to echo the delicate pattern on pieces of Angouleme china displayed on the mantelpiece. These pieces were made to commemorate the birth of the Duc d'Angouleme at Versailles; he was later to marry Marie Antoinette's daughter.
