Milo and Sweetheart who have kids that gained both their abilities

Imagine dilf! dad!Milo getting pounced on by one of his children whose in their shifted form but invisible

Invisible fur all over the couch, becomes visible when they're in their human form

Marie loves her grandpups, she always somehow sniffs them out if they're hiding and playing together in hide and seek

Stealth x Shifters pups who have near all white/grey coats, rare if they're not

Milo and Sweetheart with triplets, 2 girls and 1 boy; the boy has a white coat but the sisters have brown like Milo, they all have Sweetheart's eyes in both forms

Milo and Sweetheart who tattooed their kids' first shift paw prints on their shoulders (hc from a post I saw a long while ago, sorry idk who it's originally from!!)

Their kids WON in the genetic jackpot I don't make the rules

The entire pack was in awe of the pups' abilities because nothing like that had ever happened, pack wide party commences, even the Keaton pack was invited and some members of the Solaire Clan (that the pack liked lmao)

When the kids grew up, one of the girls has a smaller wolf like Milo and he's raised her to never let that bother her like it did to him before Sweetheart came in the picture

Sweetheart got Milo to let Colm see the kids and when Colm came over, Milo was glaring daggers at him the entire time, just wary over his dad and protective over his kids

C - "These are yours, Milo?"

M - "They're ours, who else's they'd be?"

The kids love to chase each other in the forest, going invisible and then trying to guess where they are by pouncing

Ash might've tried to join in once... miraculously only hurt a paw when he misjudged where a pup was and sprained his paw when he landed

"tol" is like the equivalent of "dude" as in a way of calling your friend

lovely & darlin would probably call vincent & sam their asawang (gets niyo ba asawa + aswang)

asawa means spouse or wife or husband

aswang is a ph mythological creature. different sources tell different things but what is mostly agreed upon is that (1) they're nocturnal (2) they usually pretend to be humans in the day time if not (3) they hide in the woods (4) they prey on children, pregnant women (specifically for their unborn child), and maybe new borns. they often get lumped with vampires though i'm not too sure how accurate that is.

aspins have a very special place in darlin's heart. sam's cabin in the woods usually have attract lots of them and they never had the heart to turn them away. in a way too, they know what it's like to being wild, dirty, street dog.

aspin - a dog breed in the ph that is sort of a mix of other breeds. they often get a bad rep for being street dogs and not having a particular breed.

vincent n his cars get featured a lot in those carspotting around manila tiktoks. whenever lovely finds em they make sure to send those to vincent lol

(this is me also hoping that vincent gets to keep at least few of them when they leave the house of solaire)

not entirely sure how the entire mate thing would translate into ph culture but even with all that david & asher would insist on doing things properly before marriage - they would mamanhikan to their partner's parents respectively hehehe

mamanhikan or pamamanhikan is a like a traditional practice of going to the fiancee's family's house and asking for their hand in marriage lol.

whenever they drive down shaw boulevard, the pack would turn to david and go "taga dito ka di ba?" or something to that effect HAHAHAHHA

"taga-dito ka 'di ba?" = "you're from (around) here, right?"

angel know it's general cleaning morning whenever david is blasting opm songs or old timey songs around their house.

asher would take panliligaw very seriously!!!!! magpapaalam sa magulang lagi ni baabe paglalabas sila!!! aabangan niya after work si baabe tapos "sabay na raw sila umuwi" galawan mo asher talbot !!!! dyan ka magaling !!!! and ofc it never stopped kahit naging sila na ni baabe :)))

panliligaw or ligaw is a more traditional pre-dating courting stage in a relationship. lol

marie has definitely said to david & asher & milo & darlin at some point na "kakaselpon niyo yan". it doesn't matter that they're adults.

"kakaselpon niyo yan" = "it's because of that (damn) phone"

this one is a bit more in general: vampire houses have THE filipino family drama. territory/progeny disputes? grudges? backstabbing? been there done that.

speaking of vamps: pre-turning, sam was once an altar boy (darlin: hahaha samkristan)

speaking of sam (again): pre-turning, he has a picture in baguio, riding a horse & wearing a cowboy hat. when darlin found it they couldn't stop staring at it for a loong while.

sweetheart LOVES singing. marie loves having them over for karaoke.

marie would drag milo's ahh every night for simbang gabi.

simbang gabi - mass service for the nine nights leading up to christmas eve.

guy's filipino nickname would be "totoy"

"totoy" is another way of refering to a younger male. addtionally, it's also often used as a euphism for a dick HAHAJAHA

guy definitely has a tiktok acct tapos don siya nagpaparinig kay honey HAHAHAHA lagi niyang kinakanta "crush" by tweens of pop

guy always does those cheesy, poetry pick up line jokes to honey like:

"cheese, cheese, cheese. gusto kita i-keese (read: kiss)"

"mga 6 out of 10. medyo pilit yung rhyme"

"honey naman 😭😓"

translation:

"cheese, cheese, cheese. i want to give you a k-eese."

"a 6 out of 10. the rhyming was a bit forced."

guy and honey are definitely oa x nonchalant pairings but may i also suggest na they are jeje x pogi typings. they both definitely have kanal humor though HAHAHA

- after returning to the pack, darlin couldnt help but cry tear up after marie called them "anak" again

Skating Around Us

Summary: An Asher x Baabe Fic. Asher is a hockey player and Baabe is a figure skater. @itsdaifuku is the reason for this fic!!!

It was around four in the afternoon. Technically their rehearsal didn’t start until 6 in rink B, but they couldn’t help wanting to get in some practice before hand. They tightened their laces before standing up and stepping out into rink C. The cool air was a nice contrast to the warmth provided by their leggings and workout shirt. They took out their headphones placing one in each ear before taking out their phone and tapping open their Spotify. They selected their warm up playlist and began circling the ice, gradually starting some of their tricks.

Once they felt fully warm they opened their phone once more, thumbing their short program song. It was one of their favorites to skate to. They absolutely loved it. It was “I put a spell on you” Nina Simone. It just the right mixture of smooth and seductive. It showed a side of them not many others got to see. They skated to the center of the rink draping one arm over their head, the other was dropped to their left side. Their head was facing down on the left as their left knee was also pumped.

With the first few keys of the piano sounding they came to life. They skated forward a few feet before wrapping their arms around themself, spinning in a circle. They pushed out as they began skating the outside of the rink. They weaves around the ice coming back center putting their hands on their head rolling their neck around. Their hand came down their front as they reached forward, skating backwards.

They picked up the pace as they turned back to the front doing a building up to a salchow, the momentum propelling them forward to the entrance of the rink. It was then that they saw an entire team of hockey players staring at them. They quickly stopped everything they were doing, grabbing their phone, stopping their music, and ripping out their headphones. They nervously skated to the edge of the rink by where the entrance was.

“I’m sorry. I was just practicing.” They said as they hurriedly stepped off the ice going to grab the bench their bag was sat on.

“Don’t worry about it. Alright, everyone on the ice. Ash, put on your skates already!” Their captain called out rolling his eyes at his teammate.

“Yeah Buddy! I’ll get it right now!” He said walking over to where they were sat on the bench. “Hey!” He greeted when he plopped down beside them. They partially jumped due to the sudden change of weight, the bench did too.

“Oh Hello.” They replied waving at him and removing their skates.

“Oh! Those are cool skates!!” He cheered staring at their skates as he slid his own pastel pink and yellow ones on. Their skates were purple, and covered in glitter. These were their backup ones, ones they used when they weren’t performing, or practicing with their coach, William Solaire.

“Thanks! Made em myself.” They said proudly, slipping into their running shoes. They finally got a good look at the stranger. His pretty blonde hair, that was somehow already messy despite not yet beginning practice. His black and grey practice jersey that heightened his bright smile. His kind eyes as he looked at them. Oh God! They were staring at him. They quickly averted their eyes.

“Well you must be pretty good at it then… I take it you’re a figure skater? You one of Williams? Don’t worry I won’t tell!” He tried to make conversation, leaning in to whisper the last part to them, as if it was a secret. He laced up his shoes as they laughed.

“Yeah, I’m one of his. So you play hockey?” They knew they were asking about the obvious but something about him made them want him to speak more. He had a good voice. And they were staring again. They needed to get that under control. He leaned into them grabbing his hockey stick in his opposite hand.

“Guilty.” He waved the stick around, slightly. He was about to open his mouth to say something else when he was cut off.

“ASH! STOP FLIRTING AND GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE.” Another player from the team yelled.

“ALRIGHT TANK! I’m on my way!!” He yelled back. He finally got up from the bench and towered over them, just a little. He began to walk away before turning back to them, “See you later skater!” If that wasn’t the worst pun they’d ever heard, but they still couldn’t stop themself from smiling. They looked at the number plastered on the duffle bag he left on the bench, number 27. It was then that their alarm went off. 5:30. It was time to head over to their practice, they hoped they would stop grinning like an idiot before Vincent or heaven forbid Angel saw them.

They made it onto the ice in Rink B about five minutes before their practice started. William was already there with his thermo in his arms. Vincent was skating around Lovely as they prepared for their lifts and Angel was on their way over to the Skater.

“Hey Skates!” Angel greeted as they made their way over. It was a nickname they had received from the cheery skater after they laid eyes on the wonderfully decorated, purple skates and soon everyone started calling them that. They quickly shoved on their boring white skates, tightening the laces and walking over to the ice.

“Sup Angel, how are you doing?” They asked bending down to touch their toes before stepping into the rink.

“I’m doing good, but uhm, what was that face you made about?” They inquired in a song song voice.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, they waved their hand to disregard any further push into the reason they were smiling like that.

“Alright everyone.” Williams voice broke through, signaling to everyone there to gather in. “We have qualifiers this weekend as you know. I understand you all have been working very hard, and I appreciate that, but we need to go out there and show our best work. Especially after what happened last season. I won’t sugar coat it. After Alexis left in the middle of last season I could tell everyone’s morale has been low.” He paused for a moment, debating his next words carefully. “I know it was a very hard time for all of us. I have recently gotten word that she has decided to join the northern regions team. She will be your competitor this season. So let’s all go out there and leave it on the ice alright?” He smiled at them reassuringly. “I’ll start working with Angel and Skates on their individual pieces. And then Vincent and Lovely there are some things in specific I would like to catch up on. For now continue warming up on the far side of the ice.”

Practice had gone smoother than they thought. They were in a great spot and had actually performed better today than they ever had. They were in the zone.

As soon as practice finished they quickly took off their skates, throwing them in their purple bag, shoving on their running shoes. They walked out into the main area, pushing past two large glass doors and walking over to rink C, curious if the stranger they met before was there. He was. It looked as though he was playing left winger, the captain was center, and the one who had called him over was right defenseman. There was also a taller man at left defenseman, a short man with curly hair as goalie, and someone who’s name they couldn’t make out as right winger. They watched as he maneuvered around the other members of his team and shot the puck, sending it reeling into the back of the net.

The way he cheered and took off his helmet had them giggle to themself. He was so adorable. They were about to turn around and stop peering through the glass doorway, when their gaze met his. They shyly smiled at him as he winked at them, smile as toothy and bright as ever. They couldn’t wait to see him again. They hoped it would be sometime soon.

Nous entendons de nombreuses mesures pour l’écologie.

Il faut acheter des produits d’entretiens écologiques, isoler thermiquement les maisons, changer les chaudières et avoir un puit canadien, acheter moins de plastique, rouler dans des voitures écologiques, limiter sa vitesse sur les routes, limiter la consommation d’eau quand on se douche ou quand on utilise la chasse d’eau, limiter la consommation de béton, avoir un compost dans son jardin, limiter sa consommation de viande, utiliser du savon d’Alep et limiter sa consommation de crèmes solaires, utiliser un four solaire, investir dans de l’énergie écologique (éoliennes, panneaux photovoltaïques, usines hydroélectriques), acheter de la seconde main. Le prix de l’électricité, du pétrole et de l’alimentation s’envolent sous prétexte d’écologie.

Les mines, l'extraction du lithium, les déchets liés aux centrales nucléaires, les grosses usines, la construction, le pétrole, l'agriculture intensive (pollution des sols, consommation exhorbitante d'eau). Les multinationales polluent bien d'avantage que les particuliers et ne subissent aucune mesure écologique pour limiter ces pollutions. Les plus riches, avec les multinationales notamment, sont responsables des plus gros écocides dans le monde: ils détruisent les forêts dont la forêt amazonienne, polluent les rivières, détruisent les fonds marins, imposent des conditions telles aux agriculteurs qu’ils détruisent les terres, qui, à force de produits chimiques, risquent fort de devenir stériles, et maltraitent les animaux. De plus, les produits chimiques comme les pesticides causent l’extinction d’espèces entières d’animaux. Ils devraient être jugés internationalement, et pas selon les lois dont ils décident dans les pays.

Certaines comme l’agriculture ou la construction sont même subventionnées. D’autres reçoivent même la légion d’honneur (par exemple Total).

Mais le gros de la pollution est encore à venir. Les pays en voie de développement veulent des usines, de l’énergie, des voitures et de la viande. Si on ne les aide pas, cela va se faire avec des usines à charbon très polluantes, du pétrole et de l’agriculture intensive (effectuée parfois dans des déserts, ce qui pompe toute l’eau dont la population a besoin). Il faut voir l’écologie à l’échelle mondiale et ne pas prendre des mesures que dans les pays développés sans quoi la couche d’ozone va en pâtir et l’air va devenir irrespirable.

Il faut aider les pays en voie de développement pour qu’ils se développent de manière saine pour l’humanité.

Cela est difficile. Il ne s’agit pas d’envoyer de l’argent car l’expérience montre que l’argent serait détourné au profit de personnes corrompues. Il faut du monde sur place pour vérifier que les travaux en faveur de l’écologie sont effectués. Il faut éduquer les populations à l’écologie et leur donner les moyens de mettre des mesures en place. Pour que les pays en développement deviennent des pays à faible émission comme les pays d’Europe, il faudrait 2 400 milliards de dollars par an. Actuellement, les subventions aux énergies fossiles totalisent 5 000 milliards de dollars par an. Cela coûterait deux fois moins de passer aux énergies renouvelables que de maintenir les énergies fossiles. António Guterres, a attaqué l’utilisation des subventions en mai 2024, déclarant : "Ce que nous faisons, c'est utiliser l'argent des contribuables - c'est-à-dire notre argent - pour favoriser les ouragans, étendre les sécheresses, faire fondre les glaciers, blanchir les coraux. La vérité choquante sur le cancer de la peau : ce qu’on ne vous dit pas à propos du soleil. Est-ce que tout ce qu'on nous a dit est un gros mensonge ? La réponse semble être un oui retentissant.

Alors que le public est constamment informé d'éviter le soleil pour prévenir le cancer de la peau, ce qu'il ne vous est pas dit, c'est que la lumière du soleil est sans doute le nutriment le plus important pour le corps humain.

Rappelez-vous : éviter la lumière du soleil peut doubler le risque de mourir prématurément, et cela augmente également le risque de tous les autres cancers.

La lumière du soleil

est essentielle pour la santé mentale

réduit le risque de cancer du sein

est vitale pour la santé cardiovasculaire

augmente la longévité

déclenche la production de vitamine D

est vitale pour le bon fonctionnement du système immunitaire

Alors, pourquoi toutes ces peurs ? La réponse est « suivez l’argent ».

Un médecin du Midwest écrit : « Une campagne de relations publiques remarquablement sophistiquée a été lancée pour transformer la société au profit de l’industrie de la dermatologie. »

La diabolisation du soleil a « permis aux dermatologues de se présenter comme des héros et d'attiser autant d'anxiété que possible à propos du soleil, en particulier comme mettre constamment un écran solaire les rendrait plus susceptibles d'aller chez leur dermatologue ».

En outre, la campagne de peur du cancer de la peau a créé « une hausse de vente massive d'examens de la peau sur des individus par ailleurs sains : un énorme réservoir de cancers potentiels à biopser ou à exciser. »

Enfin, la guerre contre la lumière du soleil leur a permis « de se rabattre sur la peur que l'industrie médicale a commercialisée autour du cancer pour justifier de charger beaucoup d'argent pour faire quelque chose de discutable pour prévenir le cancer et d'avoir chaque patient à l'esprit la seconde qu'ils entendent le mot « c pour cancer » redouté ».

Donc, voilà. Maintenant, vous comprenez pourquoi ils veulent que vous craigniez le soleil.
