She didn't know if Velvet's expression had changed— the woman's eyelids were thick, protruding, verging on swollen-looking in the way they dragged down over her eyes. But it was less disconcerting than it ought to have been— her eyes had a certain softness, a certain admiring look wherever she set her gaze. Velvet's lips— though a deathly, natural lavender in hue— always fell with a content weight, never frowning, always cushioned by her deep laugh lines.

I will never get over how inherently tied to the lgbtq community Crowley's canonical music tastes are. Both Queen and Velvet Underground had visibly queer leads who weren't afraid to step out of typical societal gender presentation. Not to mention that Lou Reed openly dated trans folks. It’s almost the end of May and therefore MerMay as well so you know what, unmers your maids. I just remembered that Akore’s specialty is form shifting enchantments, and Caspian would benefit so much from an enchantment like that. Also decided they’re uncle and nephew, Caspian being the son of one of Akore’s sisters and a human(hence why he’s so small compared to Akore and other merm his age). This was tough for me because I hate drawing feet <3
