The fire popped and flickered as the logs inside the fireplace burned. The blizzard roared outside, keeping the Saintess and her Maid trapped inside. It didn't matter though, here they were free to be Enya and Kjarr, sharing a blanket and feeling the heat of the flames warm the room. Kjarr shivered, both knew it was fake, that she wasn't affected by the cold, but Enya obliged and wrapped her tail around her lover. Tomorrow they would have to return to their jobs but for now they were free to embrace each other, share their affection, kiss and stay close.

#c-r writes #shorter than the previous one but I after writing 74 words I decided to try and do a “true” drabble of exactly 100 words #and this should be 100 words (at least according to google docs)

I forgot to claim my damn stamina before the maintenance started 😭

What I did claim today tho is the indefinite knowledge that I'm 100% STUCK on Ice Trail 80 now, holy hell

#somebody send help. im already pissed about the open trials but this ice trial has me f u c k e d 💀#i casually tore through 74-79 this week and then attempted 80 this morning....#i beat the first stage totally fine.... the 2nd stage was a doug dimma-damn joke 🤡#this is fine everything is fine. i am eternally stuck in the deepspace trials now.#love and deepspace #..... no i still have not beaten open trial 60 #and i'd be trying to beat it right now if the server wasn't under maintenance 😭

i have escaped the c range in physics!!

#according to my handy dandy spreadsheet this means the lowest i can get on our last exam is a 70 to keep the b-. okok we can do this #personal #the physics chronicles #i still think exams taking up 70% of a final grade is fucking insane though. can anyone tell me if that is out of the ordinary for their #schools like is my school’s exam % just weirdly low (im not taking this class at my school it’s at a community college)#i feel like no though 30-50% is p standard… like my myth class is at a different community college and it’s only 38% for quizzes and #tests.. hello….#i can also get as low as a 45% on the last exam to end w a 75% which i Think is what they consider a c (again this is insanity) but im also #not really sure they’re v unclear abt it #anything >= a 70 is “passing” vs anything >= 75 is “good.” not positive if this means you must get a 75 to get a c instead of a c- tho #(the reason this is an issue is bc engineering does not accept c-’s they’re automatic fails. but our c-’s are anything below a 73% not a #75% like what… a 74% i feel is p reasonable i think that’s what the standard was in hs but not 75%…)

Every time I post a fic I lose subscribers these days, which is honestly vaguely depressing.

#By 'vaguely' I mean 'really truly terribly' of course.#I struggle to post as-is because of waning engagement so to post and lose five subscribers is like. Oof.#I get it part of it is my fault for clinging to dying fandoms #(And very small ones but in the case of the Terror/etc I'd say dying/in active decline)#But still.#Getting less and less engagement the more I post is just :c Ow.#I went from 79 to 74 almost immediately #And you always get people who scoff and say 'you should write for yourself' but funny how the people saying that #Are usually people who get a lot of engagement.#I do write for myself but I also write for others. If I only wrote for myself I'd never post anything.#Authors post it so others can see it too #And once it wouldn't have bothered me back when I was young and full of energy and zeal but I'm old now #And I spent a very long time writing things with lower engagement which was fine then but it's harder when I'm old and tired #And to have like.
